901  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Hong Kong consider Bitcoin? on: August 22, 2022, 11:47:44 PM
Just because their are current struggle happening to their country then you think it will be solve by bitcoin? There's still a lot of consequences on it since if you look at current state of El Salvador right now maybe you can figure out and give some thoughts that they might not expect a lot from bitcoin especially if they bought at the wrong placr and bitcoin start to dump. There are some factors that bitcoin could really help but it needs more proper long studies before they can enjoy the huge benefits on this technology.

Agreed, Hong Kong is one amongst the country that have got highest percentage of cryptocurrency users. More other issues going around can't be handled by bitcoin. For now the individuals can enjoy the best out of bitcoin. Hongkong is positioned as the best crypto ready country for the year. This can give hands for startups and more other businesses progress through cryptocurrency usage. For now this is just a beginning and the impact can be felt long term.

The adoption from El Salvador is much into criticism, but in reality they serve as the base for more other countries that are going to adopt bitcoin in the future.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu has no value and shouldn't be bought on: August 22, 2022, 11:45:07 PM
I hope that i could bought this token at the end of 2020 and i could become a millionaire. I didn't even care what value in this token but as long as it can give decent money and why not? People are alway creating the hype. They didn't care about another aspects from the tokens.
In my opinion if that would be so difficult to change that mindset. People are only know that this is a way for them to make bunch of money.
Regrets are quite common with cryptomarket. Even I had the similar experience. One of my friend who doesn't have any idea about cryptocurrency came to know about Shiba during those days and asked me, whether it is good to invest. I suggested it is just a memecoin being hyped. If I've invested I could've turned rich atleast. Here I've ruined my friends profit making opportunity.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy some low cap coins on: August 22, 2022, 11:12:16 PM
Lot of potential altcoins with low cap can be seen around. Not around the top list, but on different ranking. Some are even at 800+ rank. Worthy investment, but we need to have the patience and trust. Few of which are reef, grin, celer network, coin98, steem, and it counts. Right now few are at its best price for entry.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 22, 2022, 11:04:26 PM
Its mainly because no one did any effort to replace DLS. Its in place since early 90s and its known for giving surprises. Cricket is an outdoor game thats constantly interrrupted by events like rain, bad lights etc so we need some kind of support But I have to admit that this DLS has not given any support rather giving confusion.
The thing is that DLS has actually been effective in producing fair results majority of the time which is why the ICC decided to simply stick with it even though some fans absolutely detest it.

The same is true when it comes to similar mechanisms in other sports like Soccer etc. Am not expecting any major changes to it anytime soon.
I too have the same thought about DLS method. It is quite fair and effective, maybe in few matches this could've turned the result upside down. Those are exceptions, and as a system it need to be fair functioning all the time. But, technical errors happen in all means. Other than DLS, no effective system is used and the only choice is to share the points between the teams and end the match.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP potential? on: August 22, 2022, 10:12:18 PM
XRP is really one among the potential coin listed on the top. It have reached all time high value close to $3.8 which gave big return for the investors. It have got more real-time usage and have partnered with large number of banking and financial service renders. So, the growth continues for the long term.

It is always said to be a centralized coin which can be manipulated. For this reason users make an entry at lower price and wait for the opportunity to exit when there is rise in price than sticking to long term. Also believing of price reaching $200+ don't go for it. According to me it might reach maximum of $10.
906  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Russia goes full Bitcoin adoption on: August 22, 2022, 07:07:54 PM
The unpredictable world economic situation has forced many countries to look for alternative assets that can withstand inflation, as is happening now that bitcoin has been proven to continue to increase, making many countries, including Russia, plan to legalize bitcoin.
its been months had passed after this news releases yet there is nothing confirming about this adoption, maybe this is just a press release so they will have sympathy from other part of the world that consistently supporting bitcoin.
and also what they can bring to their people in adoption ? is this going to be a economy booster?

This is not going to be an economic booster, but this will make other countries prepared. Because, if cryptocurrency adoption is made by Russia then it is going to make war with some country. It is the only tool that atleast made some impact over Russia.

I don't believe Russia will officially go fo it. According to me, the changes will make the people who are with them get affected.
907  Economy / Economics / Re: What do people think about CBDC? on: August 22, 2022, 06:55:54 PM
The Central Bank of Russia in 2024 will begin to gradually connect all Russian banks to the digital ruble platform
"The Central Bank explained that in 2022 the digital ruble platform is being tested, and already in 2023 the regulator plans to start piloting “real money” settlements between individuals, as well as individuals and enterprises. Also in 2023, a limited number of participants will be given the opportunity to conclude and execute smart contracts on the digital ruble platform, that is, transactions that are automatically executed upon the occurrence of conditions predetermined by the parties, the document says."

https://tass.ru/ekonomika/15456993

This just tells us the switch to CBDCs is inevitable. Russia is following its neighbor China by adopting a digital currency system of its own. ...

China and Russia do have very good reasons to create a centralised digital currency - controlling the people and how they use their money. No wonder these states are super eager to create a currency that simply cannot scape tracking and will probably make it mandatory for any transaction above a certain threshold in order to make this policy effective.
Both China and Russia have varied pattern of governance as well as policies. China always looks for each and everything to be availed separately for their country. They don't allow applications from other countries, but their applications needs the acceptance globally. The country have some sort of controversial policies. They always want its citizens under their control. Russia on the other side have good wealth, still it stands on the third world country list. Here also the people are under control. So both countries to make financial management easier with ease of taxation, CBDC is under development.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 22, 2022, 06:48:35 PM
Former South Africa captain Graeme Smith have mentioned in an interview that the test teams will down to 5 - 6 countries in the future. This means only the top cricketing nations will contribute to the iconic and oldest format of cricket. This drop in the number of nations playing cricket is out of the emergence of large number of Franchise based T20 leagues.

With this all big six can settle their tours in accordance to their own schedule because this is also good for many small boards those are now having not good profit from these test matches and ODI's Franchise can give them profit in small-time, and also they can bring some system which also give some transfer fees share to boards as well.
It is the responsibility of the ICC to take adequate measures to keep the real cricketing, but ICC is no more considering the importance of test cricket. Another thing every cricketing nation should be given opportunity for test series, only then it is possible to know the real ability of the team. For now the trend and the prime focus of ICC is towards T20, so test cricketing won't get much of importance as well as more team participation.
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a global currency ? on: August 22, 2022, 06:11:54 PM
Bitcoin already have the features of being a global currency. Several good reasons can be tied of bitcoin being the currency of the future, but certain features like volatility keep bitcoin usage away. This makes bitcoin to be an asset than a currency. The increasing debt in US might give up US dollar as the global reserve. Even if such scenario happens it takes long time for bitcoin take the position of US dollar. In terms of acceptance it is possible to see more merchants considering bitcoin payments. These are small growth that can make big change further.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 22, 2022, 05:59:28 PM
Big match for Zimbabwe and India. Both the team could've learnt many things from this match. Zimbabwe played really well, and better performance is a must from the opening order. Zimbabwe lost its 7th wicket at 169 runs. From there the team developed good partnership and the 8th wicket fell at 273 runs. Indian bowlers made good contribution, in between the pressure over the bowlers made them do mistakes and some midfields. Finally India won the series with lots of improvement on Zimbabwe.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reef is ready to beat ADA in next quarter on: August 21, 2022, 11:34:58 PM
Reef is one amongst the project that have been backed by good team and had good market. To take the position of Ada isn't an easy thing as compared. According to me, Cardano is far in terms of development and market. With the cryptomarket anything could be happen, but what I see here is just a kind of marketing gimmick. For now Cardano will stay strong and for users who prefer reef have got the right time to enter the market. As of now it is quite above the all time low value.
912  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: August 21, 2022, 11:28:18 PM
Finally you got it I can't imagine how you struggle to achieve it because I've tried to do it very hard and still stuck at 62%
May I know the game you played while hunting for wager? because you don't use a wagering strategy so I'm really curious
To make it clear, I didn't play for rank up. I'm a regular in the betting section and I played the games normally like I do it always. I played all the in-house games of Stake, beside that I played some slots games and placed bets on sports events too. Therefore, my wager stats count contains data from all of those games. Basically, I was playing for recovery and profit.

Oh I got it, I did the same last month but my VIP only increased by 12% to 62% I'm almost out of ideas how to break through Platinum 2
I was hoping you would share an easier or more motivating way unfortunately you just play normally but no problem, thank you.
There is nothing motivational. All you need is the patience to progress slowly. If not this will cause continuous loss. Myself not a big gambler, but I started to basic level up and I got interested into it. Things worked well, but if I had patience my stats could've been with profits. Now the stats of my complete wagering is in loss. It might take longer time, wait for the moment than pushing harder.
913  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Russia Emerge As The Next Dominant Superpower on: August 21, 2022, 11:17:51 PM
Russia is a super power, but it's activities of war and other crimes serve as a big setback. For this reason no country recognise it as a superpower. Russia doesn't need anyone's recognition, and no country stand in favour of them other than few neighbouring countries. Oil Wealth is a big source of Russia, and it always find ways to make others fear of them and keep the surrounding countries under its control. This isn't gonna work now.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 21, 2022, 11:09:40 PM
What happened to tsitsipas in today final he was doing good on the first set against coric and he was leading 4 2 after managing to break coric serve and then his performance started going down he lost his serve and lost 7 0 in the tie breaks not to mention the second set that was a disaster, either way coric did well today he seem in a great shape a totally deserved win.
Tsitsipas gave hard fight, and he looks so tired. It was same as the set against Medvedev, but things didn't worked out this time. If I'm not wrong, Coric have pre-planned the match after the defeat of Medvedev. In the past we used to see only certain players in the finals. Now those scenario have changed. In the doubles semifinal Tsitsipas and Rune have given a walkover which according to me seemsto be out of injury or being tired don't let him perform.
915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc crime on: August 21, 2022, 11:00:27 PM
Everything have got its positive as well as the negative part. We can't expect everyone to use only the positive part of bitcoin. Whenever someone involves in such kind of activities, the same is being discussed big. This is just the media, and they do just as a part of their work. There are group of people who work to make this as a big issue, finding flaws with cryptocurrency. So, good is to avoid such news and have our own belief.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It For The Money Or For The Sport Or A Clear Exploitations on: August 20, 2022, 11:54:12 PM
Should we allow or support internet sensations to fight in the ring I'm ok with the Paul brothers but these two other so-called internet sensations are making a mockery of boxing.

Watch the whole fight here
https://dailymmafighting.com/watch-kazakh-titan-dropped-iranian-hulk-in-first-round/

I don't agree with this kind of fight, It is so clear that the promoter is just taking advantage of the popularity of the two fighter just to grab money from the target audience.  Even if it is labeled as exhibition match, I don't see any exhibit in the fight since the other fighter is too noob to fight while the other fighter is well accustomed to the fight.
Nowadays this has become a trend. Popular person even without any professional experience or any form of qualification can get into exhibition matches. This is all for money, and this can ruin the sports at some point. There is a big follower base and the same is being used. During the childhood I used to watch WWE and gets mesmerized. Later understood those are all just tricks. Same as that these are kind of fooling the audience and making money.

918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of psychological tricks that casinos use. on: August 20, 2022, 11:14:57 PM
Though these psychological tricks are present in an actual casino, I wonder if there are similar tricks or different methods where they can integrate this kind of thinking in online casinos. Do you guys also think that there are any psychological trick/s that are adopted in online gambling casinos as well?
With online casinos it is quite hard to read the user minds. With real Casinos everything is visible and face expressions itself more than enough to understand a person's situation. With online casinos only thing that can be done is triggering. Whenever we search something related to gambling then onwards Google keeps suggesting things related to it. In such a way gamblers might get triggered to gamble and such tricks as real casinos can't be made effective.
919  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: August 20, 2022, 07:08:15 PM
I think both men and women have an equal chance to succeed in entrepreneurial enterprises, because not all women and men are the same. You get clever open-minded men and women... and also men and women that are struggling.  Roll Eyes

There are a lot more factors to keep in consideration to determine if someone will be successful or not... and you cannot simply look at a persons sex to see if they can succeed or not. (Example : Drive / determination / skills / experience / funding resources etc....)  Wink
I don't know the reality happening with majority of the women. But I came across an interview in which a women described about the difficulties she have been experiencing just because she's in a role to allocate work for employees. Looking at the gender, many have treated her bad. So, when it comes to Women entrepreneurship there'll be more difficulties. Women need to prepare herself and be ready to face everything, only then it'll be good and possible to go high in the men dominant sector.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: August 20, 2022, 08:49:39 AM
I don't know why you guys are underestimating Qatar national team, they have developed very well in the past years. They are the winners of the last Asian Cup where they knocked out South Korea and Japan, and defeated Saudi Arabia in the groups round. I watched all their matches, they showed high quality performance and great commitment in the field. I know Wold Cup is very different competition because they will face teams from other continents with different playing styles, and Asian teams were always the weakest, yet I believe Qatar may do something.
I certainly do not underestimate the Qatar National team. Even though it participated in the World Cup as the host i think all the teams in this organization are valuable. Also we should not forget that the Qatar National Team is the Asian champion. Asian teams consist of weak squads but Qatar National Team can get good results in the Cup with the advantage of being the home team.

Since the announcement of 2022 FIFA host Qatar is into hard training. Already they're the best among the Asian teams and it is one amongst the country to spend big on football. With FIFA the home team advantage won't give hands, but it helps in keeping the players cheered. Qatar have got more local players as well as large number of football leagues. Qatar too will be a good team than a host team.
