You won't see DF as a payment gateway. The very basis of DF's business is to provide the platform for these providers to use. I think rough estimate would be around two years from now . People are so naive right now that changing the way banking system right now is like a financial meltdown. around 85% of the world's population don't want to embrace the technological revolution that bitcoins is bringing. Part of it blames to dark sides when transacting bitcoins. There are so many what if's out there. Give 2 years timetable . Help educate government that blockchain technology has a real potential.

I think your taking into account all the money that Arteleis has spent on Silkcoin in total and not what he has paid me. It simply sounds like you have your wires crossed. Yes he has spent a lot of money, taken loans out to fund stuff, but this was before I was on the scene.
Thats right, this was a good couple of years ago now. In fact, next week is almost exactly 2 years to the day that the devs abandoned the project. We have come along a good way now and i hope that Trak4UBitl can see this and grab some SILK while its still cheap! |

The more nodes, the less payout, but if there is about 100 nodes, that would equate to around 700 XEM a day. So about $30 per month at that rate with the current exchange rate, i think someone was saying. I think there would be probably more than 100 nodes running very soon. Thanks. And do you know how much would it cost to run a supernode-able VPS? Im trying to work that out myself too. I may just switch to another ISP instead. It doesnt really matter what "profit" you make monthly, think about what your XEM will be worth in another 5 years... |

OK, but as i understand both can be traded for each other? Just seems strange that the total balance will be half than what we had first with NXT, but in saying that, we sill still be holding our original NXT and if the FNX potentially could be trading for more anyway? And probably forging/staking will be profitable, because you forge the blocks of all the childchains with FXT.  Well that will be sweet, as this means there will be a good incentive for running a node, which there really currently is no real incentive for forgers at the moment. |

I don't understand Nxt 2.0 for 100%, but I see a lot of potential for sure. And of course free FXT and free FNT. Damelon explained more about it on Slack and I want to share it here too. 1. release of the 1.9 version to mainnet.
This will be the start of the snapshot period for FXT distribution that will last for three months
This will be followed by
2. Automatic distribution of the FXT Token
This will start a period where people can freely trade FXT Token
