921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is storing bitcoin is more secure in iPhone than in an Andriod phone on: March 26, 2023, 07:38:31 AM
iOS is stated to be secure than Android as there is limited number of applications available for iOS than Android. For Android quite often we can see list of applications creating security issues and requested from developers team to remove from the smartphones for better security of the device. Non custodial wallet on mobile devices seems to be secure and for better security I prefer to have separate smartphone which have got only the wallets application. Only for transaction purpose I connect it to internet, rest of the time the smartphone will be offline.
922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Given an option between Bitcoin and Fiat which do you prefer? on: March 25, 2023, 11:59:19 PM
This is reality check.
I bet most of the people here would still prefer using fiat on daily transactions and will just use cryptocurrencies as a mode of payment on big transactions to avoid taxes. But on a regular basis, people in this industry will make use more of this industry for investment purposes which is not a bad thing to do especially if in such way they'd be make use more of the potential from this blockchain.Using it on small transactions will jist put an individual into guilt from doing so. Most of the people here would be seeking for profit more than essence of this industry as an alternative mode of payment. Considering preferences, some would say they're more interested with using cryptos due to its profit potential and not because of the convenience it gives to users.
That's the reality. Even now people who enter the cryptomarket doesn't have the understanding about the technology and technology its core of eliminating third parties. Based on the growth it have achieved in the short time period people are much interested and investing into it. Very few prioritise for regular transaction needs and spending with it. To get the choice as an alternate to the fiat system it takes time and people should learn more about it, because people are more convenient with the traditional payment system even though there is flaws.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 25, 2023, 11:54:58 PM
If you are not understanding this all then go ahead and search for the Ramiz Raja statement which he gives few days back about Pakistani team with I already know how things works in PCB and Pakistan cricket team because these are not new mostly when they have few top class players they have few groups in teams which try to bring down others so same happening right now, and it's all about just Shahid Afridi who is trying his best for bringing Shaheen Afridi as T20i captain and few are working on Shadab Khan to be as new captain of this format this all now started with the help of Shahid Afridi who is never been ideal cricketer and now trying his best to bring down this good team down on earth with the help of dirty politics.

Despite all these politics and the bad performance in the first T20 match, the odds for the second match today still favor the Pakistan team.

I would be looking to bet on Afghanistan because they have a very good chance of winning this match but also you will get 2.42 odds at stake.
Almost with every matches played between a higher ranked team and a team at the bottom we were able to see such difference in the odds. Based on a single match win, the odds won't be changed on the consecutive matches. The odds that are @2.42 for Afghanistan varies when the match starts based on the performance. For this reason most people prefer live betting with these kind of matches.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 25, 2023, 11:16:40 PM
Alcaraz had an easy win against Bagnis 6-0 6-3 and reached round of 32 where he's gonna play against Lajović who had earlier won against Andy Murray 6-4 7-5. Andy Murray isn't able to perform as the past and Medvedev is playing against Carballés Baena on the round of 64. The first set have begun and both have won a point. This is gonna be a two set match.
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What other ways are available for purchasing Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2023, 10:53:27 PM
Thats not that simple to cut it down. Only thing that can be done is to encourage direct spending of bitcoin. Maybe such act will speed up the adoption of bitcoin all around. In reality it is difficult to happen, because of people's preference of bitcoin. People consider bitcoin as an investment than a transaction source or something else. So, the dependence over banks won't get cut easily.
926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The future of CBDC in gambling. on: March 25, 2023, 09:50:22 PM
I don't really see how CBDC are a game changer. Online crypto casino should stick to legit projects like BTC, ETH, DOGE, LTC etc... They have already proven themselves and they work just fine. Just don't do any business with the govs and let them implode.
CBDC can be a game changer if the government ban the whole stable coin, the worst case they ban all cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin. If the government force their citizens to use CBDC, we have no option because we can't reject it, especially if there's no cash is used anymore.

However I'm not supporting CBDC and I just hope the government will not ban all cryptocurrencies because it will create a huge panic.
This could happen and government's wish for such a level of adoption. When CBDC is the only option people go for it. This will let the government to have direct control over every person's transaction. This could affect user privacy and we can see decline in the number of users into gambling. Majority wants privacy and for that reason most gamblers look for alternate or just start visiting real casinos.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel bad while paying with BTC? on: March 25, 2023, 07:59:07 AM
In reality the main motive of creation for Bitcoin was to substitute fiat payments so it must be used for payment processing also not only investment purposes. We have seen that with rise in prices we gain profits from it with time so feel sad to spend them and it's also fine but we can spend small amounts to buy stuff online or physically if merchants around you accept it to boost the adoption more.
The main purpose for which bitcoin got innovated is to get served as an alternate to the traditional system. Many flaws were found on the traditional system and to overcome the same bitcoin got innovated with the blockchain technology backing. The usage of bitcoin is much preferred for investment than as a payment system or transaction source. When we talk of bitcoin adoption and increasing acceptance we should also contribute to it. Everyone have the same feeling of bitcoin value fluctuation causing difference in price for the same product based on time difference. For this it is always good to spend on small products that won't disturb the spending even when the price of bitcoin varies big. In all aspects it is a must to spend, only then we can have good circulation that result in the increased usage and real time adoption of bitcoin.
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Casino Sites Cheating Us? on: March 25, 2023, 12:00:04 AM
If our mind turns the way, then we can't change it forever. People have a thinking that Casinos cheat us. We've got each and every access to check whether the bet is fair functioning or not. Even after that we should not complain the Casinos to be functioning against the rule or cheating us.

Most of the time people indicate a particular casino is cheating when the user doesn't experience win and have lost big on the casino. Here it isn't the mistake of the caisno. The user needs to understand and act accordingly.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: While Everyone was Talking about El Salvador! We forgot about Guatemala on: March 23, 2023, 11:59:55 PM
Guatemala haven't made bitcoin as legal tender. It might be observing the actions of El Salvador and making perfect plans for execution. Most of the time we can see discussion that El Salvador bitcoin adoption is a failure which is completely wrong. El Salvador took a bold decision which is being feared by most of the government.

Whether it is small or big country what they do with a positive thoughts about bitcoin gonna support the growth of the country's economy as well as make them technology wise advanced than many other countries. Maybe the impact is not that big, but this small moves will make path for big changes in the long term.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Placing bet on WWE on: March 23, 2023, 11:40:02 PM
Bets on WWE ? Funny! Why would I want to bet on a fake sport ? I mean , yea , for entertaining is great to watch ...but to place bets on them ? when most of the fans know the script even before the fight is planned and they know the winner before the fight as well. So I think , these are 2 main reasons of why betting houses will most likely never accept or see WWE as a betting sport.
True, everything is fake. They just act and make money. Most of the WEE fighters later seen on different movies. Even to watch the match it doesn't looks funny. Just the referee will be trying to finish the match with the three beats, but someone will distract and the fighter gets up. At times someone shakes the leg of the player and referee wasn't aware of it. Only mistake there is no VAR or review system. Grin
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still hunt for airdrops? on: March 23, 2023, 11:36:13 PM
always follow airdrops if it's coming from legit project with legit devs optimism, arbitrum, and aptos good example of airdrop that could turn ones life around so if you've got nothing to do and you can finish their given task you better finish them because they could be turning your life around usually if you're lucky enough, though many airdrops are just giving away shitcoin but some are giving golds.
In the past airdrops used to give good rewards. Nowadays things weren't the same as we need to be lucky to get slot for the airdrops. Most of the reputed projects do airdrops with limitations. This is good, but the same doesn't reach most of the users and many projects have begun to conduct it along with the exchanges. Here the exchanges have certain criteria with trading volume and other stuffs to claim airdrops. This way the airdrop is getting complex with less chance of getting rewarded.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arbitrum Token Initial Price Speculation on: March 23, 2023, 11:32:52 PM
How did you claim the ARB token? Unfortunately I couldn't claim earlier because the website was down and at the time of listing the price was above $10 then it became a dump because of the disposal of tokens resulting from the airdrop that they claimed and then sold it.

Now ARB is at $ 1.3 with a decrease of 88% then are you going to hold or sell it?
I think the potential to go up is still possible because they already have quite a large daily volume.

I think $1.3 or $1.43 is a decent price for those who got it for free, people were literally handed free money for doing less complicated tasks. since the majority have not got the opportunity to claim their free tokens, the probability of arb going further down is high, so selling now at this price seems to be a fair trade. Some people will be claiming as high as 10k arb tokens which at this present price is about $14,300 free money. This is a good price but also the future is very bright for arb tokens.
Thats really good price. Binance to list arbitrum will bounce the market unlike its potential. Already the market of arbitrum is predicted to give good return through its development. Whatever the price, people recieving it for free is really good and can hold it for long term than just trying to speculate the price on launch.
933  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we end the *VOLATILITY OF BITCOIN* on: March 22, 2023, 11:58:45 PM
When bitcoin stops being volatile, it will practically turn into stabelcoin. but then there will be a question of whether people will stay interested in it. After all, volatility allows you to earn, volatility attracts attention. So the lack of volatility is bad for bitcoin, but probably good for altcoins.
Volatility is the big attraction, particularly the large scale fluctuation increase the risk of winning big as well as losing. People fear about the volatility for some reason, but it is the feature that supports making good money. As mentioned the lack of volatility will surely be unliked by the common people who make something out of the market fluctuation.
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: March 22, 2023, 11:54:47 PM
~snip~
As far as I know GPT 4 is more advanced. It can deliver information to a user more reliably and faster than before. Recently I saw an article that said many people will lose their jobs due to AI and the reality is pointing to that. If this AI can do all kinds of work then there is no need to hire manpower. If every organization eliminate its employee, it can have a boon effect on human life. Again I saw in one place that this Chat GPT has been banned. However, I haven't got a clear idea about this yet. But it is natural that technology will also develop with the change of era.

Technology always have shaped the jobs available.

Not many people are working these days copying books by hand, but that was a job at some point.

Also, many jobs will just continue, but probably be made easier by GPT.

For example, programming was really difficult in the beginning, you had to punch cards, then high level languages appeared, then stackoverflow appeared helping people, now programmers will use GPT instead of searching the web.

At the end of the day you'll need someone actually dealing with all the details for the job to be done. The intermediary steps will be made easier by GPT, so probably there would be less need for people, but still you need people to do things.
Technology ease out the work, but without the involvement of human it is not gonna be effective.

Everything is human made, and this could reduce the human workforce and might cause employment problems. For now the usage have been limited. Over time the need will increase with the fast moving world, by then GPT would play major roles.

When it comes to gambling it serves as a data management system which just takes the available data, analyse and gives the probable chance as the outcome. However this doesn't gonna be successful with every bets.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Space ID Token Listing Today? What should I Do? on: March 22, 2023, 11:42:12 PM
I'd say wait until the price falling significantly first, too much airdrops meaning few hours after listing everyone just gonna sell their token massively.
that means it could be chance for investments, even though I don't know whether the project has planned something to contain all the dumpings from the airdrops but it'd still have higher chance of dropping in valuation.

that's the usual scenario. after few days of listing, the price significantly drop. lucky if you can even get the 50% of the initial listing price. just like many other tokens, for me, their lifespan is not that long. give few months and you will see how much they drop from their price. if you miss the good price, high likely that you won't sell your tokens higher than your buying price. so better not to be agitated with the hype. plan accordingly.
Many have got airdrops, and one of my friend have got 240 tokens. This is something valued around $100 based on the current price on coinmarketcap. This is really good, as mentioned the high price reached on the day of listing will slowly fall back allowing users to invest on it. As the token is associated with the Binance exchange we can expect this to have better growth than many other tokens than doesn't stay strong on the market for much longer time period.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many BTC needed for retirement in 10 years? on: March 22, 2023, 11:35:35 PM
10BTC and 100ETH is a good starting point for a retirement fund. In my place, that is a very high price that, even at its current value, can provide you with a comfortable life. Looking ahead to 2032, when we all hope prices have risen further than they are now, it will be an excellent retirement plan. Although market volatility should be taken into account, you may not be able to exit the market at its ATH in 2032.
This looks to be fair amount for the retirement. In the past it looked like an easy investment based on its current price. Even after this we'll get more opportunities in the ten years time. We need to have perfect plans and start saving, so that we can buy the mentioned number of Bitcoin and ethereum at the best price. If not, atleast we should start DCA technique by now onwards which helps to accumulate the number at an average price.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which kind of situation will force you to sell? on: March 22, 2023, 11:13:54 PM
When the entire debt value equals with the amount of bitcoin I hold, I'll go for selling my holding. Having debt is always a pressure, which is quite hard to overcome. This makes life harder, because we can't plan for betterment of our life. With what we earn we need to repay and once it gets completed we can move to the next level of living with our earning.

For now the economic conditions too bad. This makes life even worse and more suffering. In these days accumulating as much possible could help at the upcoming large scale bullish move around the days of halving. For now my focus is upon the upcoming halving.
938  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is for the important things on: March 20, 2023, 11:56:26 PM
Personally a shelter is important, daily food is important, and clothes to cover-up is important. Without this it is hard to live. Beyond this what all we've innovated and making use of it is for our convenience. Money is important, same as that should be our preference. We should have better plans and execute one by one. In my understanding one who have got food, shelter and clothes is rich than majority population of the world.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 20, 2023, 11:52:09 PM
After easily defeating Sinner, Alcaraz tore through Medvedev as well. He hasn't lost a single set in Indian Wells, making him the strongest favorite to win in Miami as well.

If Đoković does not stop him this season, I feel that nothing will.
That's big from Alcaraz to win in the direct sets. Even if Djokovic have played Indian Wells the match could've been favoured the young Alcaraz. Expected the match atleast to the level of Semifinals played against Tiafoe where the first set reached 7-5 and the second set went to 7764. Here match looks like completely one sided. As said Djokovic needs to stop, if not he's gonna be unstoppable.
940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people promote gambling sites . on: March 20, 2023, 11:02:35 PM
Whats the need of promoting a supermarket or a luxury brand, it brings business for the brand and for what we've done we'll be rewarded. Gambling industry is a business and for revenue it is being promoted. With each and everything we'll be having specific terms and conditions. When we enter it request our consent, and we just move on with the agree click. That's our mistake, whether it is gambling or something else we need to be responsible and if something doesn't feel to be good just ignore the platform and find the one that suit our needs.
