You know I would actually be genuily interested in making that video.

But...

I haven't understood shit about all the drama here.

I know it implies Lauda (easy, just take a cat with red laser as an actor and make it jump everywhere yelling as much as it can), CryptoHunter (just take a crazy shit uncle, we all got one in the family) and TMAN but.. That's all.

Anyone can link to an actual meta drama understandable to someone who haven't watched the last 5 seasons?

If yes, might do the video this week. That's something worth a shot considering how crazy all of you are!
943  Other / Meta / Re: CENSORED FORUM, ANYTHING NEGATIVE on: January 14, 2019, 03:25:13 PM
Your missing the point butter, average joes have their bank accounts insured by the federal government.  GOOD FUCKING LUCK getting back your stolen crypto.

You're missing the point of crypto...

Crypto means you're your own bank. If you do shit you're responsible. If you're careful you won't ever get stolen. Especially you won't have to deal with the fucking banking system that is actually failing faster than what anyone could have thought.

Edit after the good remark of bones261.

Nevertheless your post was simply off topic. So was this post before my edit and would anyone report it it would have been deleted.

There isn't any political view in bitcointalk moderation, not even a pro coin view. It's simply a question of being legal, constructive and on topic. Anything else is not important.
944  Other / Meta / Re: my Bitcointalk account was banned ? on: January 14, 2019, 03:23:49 PM
OP, are you still playing innocent even after all the evidence presented above?

I have nine more pages to go and a sentence stolen from a fellow bitcointalk member.

Rippel is the safest coin and Rippel unlike Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH). Ripple looks a little different. Cannot be mined, it cannot be used as a digital shopping instrument. And Ripple specifically operates for private companies, aka it can't be arbitrary.

Unlike Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH). Ripple looks a little different. Cannot be mined, it cannot be used as a digital shopping instrument. And Ripple specifically operates for private companies, alias cannot be used arbitrarily. Indeed, the Ripple value is not too large compared to Bitcoin or Ethereum, but the end of 2017 is a breath of fresh air for Ripple owners. Because this centralized currency is skyrocketing and continues to skyrocket this month.

Rippel though!  Cheesy

Hmm... How do you do that?

How do you find plagiarism so fast?
945  Other / Meta / Re: CENSORED FORUM, ANYTHING NEGATIVE on: January 14, 2019, 03:22:19 PM
You were deleted because that's off topic.

Bitcointalk is probably the most free place I know. You can say whatever you want here.

Just be on topic. That's the nearly only rule.
946  Economy / Reputation / Re: THE NEW DT ALGO HELPS SCAMMERS HIDE THEIR PAST AND SILENCE THE TRUTH???? on: January 14, 2019, 03:10:51 PM
I spoke nothing but the truth, this thread is enough evidence to prove this users insanity

I come here from your reference link.

I confirm it is a bit scary.
947  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 14, 2019, 03:08:04 PM
Thanks for the share kenzawak.

You know, now that I think about it, universality is also a good real word use of BTC.

Rather than paying your bank everytime you want to get money in another country than your home region you can simply pay in BTC! Or at least use BTC ATM.

I remember that visiting Hungary I paid about 8% of fees jsut to change from euro to Florint. Because you had first to cash out (5% fee) then to convert (3% fee).

So using BTC in this situation is actually pretty nice!
948  Other / Meta / Re: More than one year with account locked - Theymos or Cyrus please help me ! on: January 14, 2019, 02:50:58 PM
unlocked, thanks you to all friends for your support !

Wahou gg!

So the new procedure is actually working that's it? Cheesy
949  Other / Meta / Re: my Bitcointalk account was banned ? on: January 14, 2019, 02:50:24 PM

everything that I wrote in this forum is based on my knowledge as long as I know cryptocurrency

So it just happens to be exactly the same text as what we found on the websites?

You're jsut a bad luck guy who writes texts and omg shit someone else wrote it exactly like this on other site?
950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Don't fell for FUD. Stand your ground bitcoiners! on: January 14, 2019, 02:41:37 PM
So.

I've seen this in a thread:

lol @ the snicker comment but I'm sick of you crypto guys tricking regular people into investing in this scam.  There are not enough greater fools left for the price to go back up to 20k.  I know you guys are trying to get one last pump to dump on the noobs though.

And globally an increase of posts saying that it's the end. That the big scam is finished and that now it's just a deah fish. That it was all a global scam.

Now I don't care if some old traders are dumb enough to sell right now. This post is for all the newcommers that fear investing. When I first invested in 2015 I was worried and only bought up to 2 coins while I could have bought about a dozen rather easily. Now I'm still happy I've bought at this time but I would have loved if some old coiners managed to convince me to buy muuuuuuuuch more.

Here is why you should buy, and buy now:

-BTC is not dead. There is no reason for btc to die, the only way would be to stop all mining but that's simply not possible as anyone can mine, even you.

-Already 83% of BTC has been mined. That means a very small inflation. You need only a very small investment to keep the price of btc stable. That's not the case of dollars or euro you know... They get printed over and over...

-BTC has a real life purpose. Using WU to transfer money is hundreds of time more expensive than using BTC. BTC isn't made for daily purchases but it can handle large amount transfer like nothing else!

-Next halving is in less than two years: https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/
If you don't know what halving is, just remember that halving means less BTC mined means price increase.

-Market value is already in the 63 billions. For the price to stay the same, you need only a few billions considering the small increase of coins.

-Tons of coins get lost. I'm not even sure the number of BTC is actually increasing if you consider the people losing their private keys, the people dying without handing their coins, the amount of dust btc lost in small wallets...

-Not a single solution has been provided to avoid another world financial crisis. Banks and government are still exactly doing the same thing. And at the next financial crisis, when governments will have to print billions and billions to bail out the banks, what currency will not get inflation in any way? Yeah you goddamn right.

-For anyone in countries not 100% safe (means anyone except USA, France UK and Germany). Remember governments and banks simply prevented any citizen to get their money from their bank account with the Greek crisis. They will never be able to freeze your coins.

So don't be afraid. It's better than any other investment you could make.

Chill out, buy, and buy now as the price can only go up for the next halving.

Cheers.
951  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 14, 2019, 02:28:28 PM
PS. What are you talking about funding your LND note?

I currently run a "popular" LND node that I have personally funded with x BTC across numerous channels. I was thinking of adding additional funds to my node, and establishing some higher-funded channels, in addition to what I've already established.

Start screwing around with channel policies and routing fees, and other extremely esoteric lightning related crapolla.

Balancing channels is extremely unpleasant at present. Trying to gain a better understanding of it, and it's becoming clear to me there is not a simple way to handle it, given the current UX/UI.

The closest natural analog I can make to managing a busy LND node is dumping our your channel info, and manually start going through each channel - one-by-one - adjusting the policies, as if I was going through tending my garden for weeds, and plucking weaker plant shoots.

Very tedious.

That sounds... Interesting.
And I like any project related to BTC right now, world seems dead.

Do you have any ressources to share? Explanation links? For a big fucking noob like me?
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs ! on: January 14, 2019, 02:26:06 PM
Most alts are still tanking significantly harder.

I disagree. Looking at the chart you can see lots of alts are stable compared to BTC and most of them follow the same pattern. A few of them are dumped harder.

That's the sad truth about alts. Some of them propose something different but the vast majority is just a pupeet of BTC. BTC goes up so does the alt. BTC goes down, so does the alt.
953  Other / Meta / Re: my Bitcointalk account was banned ? on: January 14, 2019, 01:10:04 PM
Why do you fucking care, bitcoin is a giant scam anyways, this shit is all going to zero and this forum will die out as a result.

Take a snicker dude.

You're not you when you're hungry.

And don't forget to cry when BTC is back at 20k.
954  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan 3 btc (Going through divorce need pay lawyer) on: January 14, 2019, 01:07:54 PM
Me is saddest person.

I have no collateral but I pinky swear, cross my heart and hope to die that I will repay you. All I have in this world is my words and my balls.

Ahahahahahah

*Breath*

Wait, let me laugh more

Ahahahahahahah

Though I do like the DarkStar answer.
955  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 14, 2019, 01:04:58 PM
No it isn’t

Thanks for pointing out that I'm a moron getting confused between halving dates and presidential elections dates.

Though it probably means I see halving as more important than presidential elections of my country...

Says a lot about my faith in BTC... Or politics!  Cheesy
956  Other / Meta / Re: How to get to accounts data of the forum? on: January 14, 2019, 01:02:08 PM

Ok now that's just perfect.

Thanks a lot DdmrDdmr. I'll have to learn a bit of code before using it I believe though... But that's exactly what I'm looking for Cheesy
957  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 14, 2019, 12:52:36 PM
Guys.

I hate to admit this.

I'm starting to get the fear.

Looking into my crystal ball, I see 2019 filled with nothing but continued languid misery.

I'm thinking of just tuning out for all of 2019 and devote it entirely to personal projects. (Continue to run my LND note, tho. Might just fund it some more...)

2018 really took a lot of wind out of my sails. Absolutely exhausting.  Undecided

Wish I could just put myself into a medically induced coma until some-time mid-2021.

Brace yourself because 2019 won't be much better.

Price will continue to go down. Projects won't go anywhere. Investments will be thin.

Next halving is in 2022, so expect a poor 2019 (but not as horrible as 2018), a somewhat good 2020, a great 2021 and an awesome 2022.

Halving means natural price increase, communication, easy FOMO and growth.

Forget me. It seems i'm tired and I say shit. It happens.

So, hands firm, don't shake and hold your breath for a bit. Better times ahead Wink

PS. What are you talking about funding your LND note?
958  Other / Meta / How to get to accounts data of the forum? on: January 14, 2019, 12:07:57 PM
Hello everyone,

I think I've found a method to identify the accounts getting sold on the forum.

Problem is that I need the data of accounts of the forum to identify them. By data I mean the list of accounts of the forum with the most possible informations:
-username (obviously)
-date of registration
-rank
-activity
-number of posts
-merit
-sMerit (don't know if that's available to anyone but the user)

Is such data available publicly? I'm not really aware of the bacground of the forum as I've never used it.

But after years inside I think I finally have find something I can do for the community Cheesy
959  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 14, 2019, 10:54:31 AM
Nice work, although I believe that the number of people that will understand the process will drop by over 90%. Cheesy

I confirm.

What the hell is going on? Previous system was ok to understand but here...
Though it's not a bad thing because it means only people actually caring about DT will take the time to understand it.

If I understood correctly though the idea would be to flat out votes in order to get the biggest possible DT1?
Shouldn't be the other way around? Especially as the merit sources mean merit will only increase, DT1 will also only increase. Ultimate state in theory would be everyone in DT with this system.
960  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism as a result of cultural differences on: January 14, 2019, 10:49:16 AM
I'd say you're giving this third group too much credit.

Plagiarism is theft in any culture including the Asian one. Plagiarism is appropriation of one's creation, it's just that the creation is a text but it's still taking something someone else made.

What could be done is probably seeing a lighter punishment for anyone copy/pasting while giving the source of the copy paste but no one actually does this. You either give the source then comment what you paste or don't give the source.

Most plagiarists are just lazy. Don't try to find excuses for them like cultural differences. I know no culture where it's seen as a good thing.
