941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in Student Life on: May 07, 2023, 09:03:43 PM
Go ahead and invest in Bitcoin. Take risks. Calculated risks though. Start with $10, $20, or $30 any amount you can spare. Buy it, hold while you concentrate on your academics and graduate with honors.
One of the reasons why I said you should hold is because if you're so focused on the price movement anxiety fears and doubt will overtake you and it might be difficult for you to focus on your studies so hold and keep reading up on Bitcoin and it investment.
942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't do something else offline, is this something wrong? on: May 05, 2023, 10:15:09 PM
How are you guys running two business together? If the hustle isn't online I don't like it, I have few asic miners that I use to mine Bitcoin and I monitor the farm every day, I also gamble online too, I am also a big crypto investor, I am convenient with these.
I see no wrong in your online business since it pays you to your satisfaction. Truth be told, i think you need other source of income offline just incase. No one prays for the worst but it's a good thing you prepare for it. Having other offline business cannot stop you from your online businesses.
Maybe because you are so use to working online. You should pay little attention to other businesses  maybe there will be a different in your income increasingly. The choice is your though.
943  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or investment! What's your take? on: May 05, 2023, 07:11:19 PM
My take between investing and trading is that for one to stay with what is working for you. Do not say that your friends are doing trading and it's working for them so, you'd join them. And when it doesn't work you keep moving.
My take is that you should be patient, observe, study and know what your strength and weakness are with regards to both of them and then when you have found out, play to your strength.
944  Economy / Economics / Re: Have a Income? Invest in Crypto or Not? Let's think realistically on: May 05, 2023, 03:40:13 PM
Small profit is still profit. And the first rule of thumb for me is contentment. If you as a newbie trader compares yourself with a Joe that is a professional trader who makes $500k per week on trading you may truncate whatever trading career you are building up for yourself.

Because you refused to control yourself and your emotions. Pro traders do not let their emotions control them. That's why they know when to trade and when to take a rest.
945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I won £50 - should I use it to buy Bitcoin? on: May 05, 2023, 01:06:58 PM
Investing in Bitcoin and in bond are both brilliant. You are well informed on different  investments however it seems like you'd favor Bitcoin investment over the other because.
You have already mentioned that Bitcoin has the potential to rise and what I think is that the more you have, the higher profit you get during the bull run. I can conclude that if eventually Bitcoin doesn't rise, your risk management strategies are airtight.
946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall of crypto influencers. on: May 05, 2023, 05:40:00 AM

So what do you think?
Will we finally see the fall of influencers or there still will be enough stupid people to follow their advice?
Whether we like it or not cryptocurrency influencers are here to stay. What we would see in the next fews years are well educated and informed influencers or should I call them Bitcoin educators. I call it the rise of the well-rounded crypto influencers.

The rise of these influencers will not make the scam influencers automatically disappear. No, they will still be there but their influence

948  Economy / Economics / Re: 2023: What money lessons have you learned so far? on: May 04, 2023, 07:56:39 PM
One of the most important lessons I have learnt in 2023 about money is that money comes and money goes do not ever get attached to it. Because it is out of the attachment that brings out a lot of evil vices where you do not mind doing anything even though it is illegal to get it or get more of it.

Another lesson I've learnt is that if you are contented with the money that you have and you deserve more you will get more. More money from me comes through contentment and intense desire. Contentment gives you clarity and desire gives you motivation.
949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin was to be physical product? on: May 03, 2023, 10:41:43 PM
Definitely No. I won't involve my self with bitcoin if it were to be physical product because of the nature of
the investment and establishment unless maybe i found my self among the rich or the middle class.
Like you said earlier, it will attract more fraudsters, it wont be private anymore and the common man can not invest in it because the government will place a tax that
will be be so difficult for an ordinary man to afford and it will be only the rich man thing.
950  Economy / Economics / Re: What class of an investor are you? on: May 02, 2023, 10:53:43 PM
New Investor is where I belong. I would have love to see myself in the researcher class but one thing about me is that I cant wait to gather much more information on a particular investment.
Not that i wont do any research but spending mùch more time finding out about an investment first before investing in it. I prefer experience in my investment.
Just know little vital information about the investment and start gradually.
951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How useful is Bitcoin to the youth? on: May 02, 2023, 09:26:37 PM
Bitcoin has been useful to the youth and it is still becoming more useful as time passes by.
The usefulness of bitcoin is due to the process involved in it. It is easy to use as the yought are becoming more use to digital because bitcoin is also a digital currency that does not require any governmental procedues. Youth can easily stay in their various homes and work on the internet and make money for them selves.
The usefulness also depend on the youths who wish to learn new development not just only the youths but any one who is willing to adapt to new technology development.
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I found my financial success in Bitcoin 1 year on: May 02, 2023, 06:51:49 PM
It is nice sharing your experience with bitcoin positively. Not everyone who started bitcoin made such profit within a year. Maybe it is because you focused on only bitcoin and avoided other altcoins.
Again, your massive profit also has something to do with how much you invested because someone who invested a minimal amount won't have such profit within a year.
953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do with bitcoin? on: May 01, 2023, 11:19:53 PM
So I wanted to ask you all, what are you planing to do with bitcoin when it will go to 70k, 80k etc. Are you planing to sell it or you will keep holding it?
If you will sell it, at what price are you planning to do it?
Why wait till then when you got no idea what is going to happen the next day or the day after. For me Bitcoin's price is just right to do whatever the holder wants.

Whatever I am going to do now is what I would do whenever the price increases. If I am going to buy a house then, I would buy it now by taking profit. It I am going to start a business with it, I'm already going to start doing it now. This is my own opinion though.
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help to Bitcoin education? on: May 01, 2023, 10:53:32 PM
YouTube is one way to educate newbies about Bitcoin. The problem I have with crypto YouTube channels is mostly in the comments section which is filled with scammers.
Curating online courses is also another great way through which Bitcoin education can be achieved.
I like Twitter threads too because they are straight to the point.

Stealing to trade Bitcoin is like stealing to gamble. The result definitely ends in pain and tears. What is the lesson here.

- people will never learn from the bitter experience of others.

- nobody is exempted from stupidity in Bitcoin. That is irrespective of the educational status, you can still be as stupid when it comes to Bitcoin trading.

- prison is not enough he should be made to spend some time in the Library reading some recommended books on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
957  Economy / Economics / Re: My predictions for next decades world economics on: May 01, 2023, 12:49:29 PM
I don't believe in predictions for the future. I live in the present besides if you observe closely, you'd see that history always repeats itself.
If the government and people become greedy and want to scramble all the resources for themselves, it leads to conflict. If there are less security crisis situations, people
would go to farms there will be bountiful harvest and the world will experience less food crises.
Increased Bitcoin adoption
and favourable government policies will lead to a bull run. It is obvious that we are approaching that time and season.  All these predictions by the OP definitely will not happen.
958  Economy / Economics / Re: New currency from BRICS countries on: May 01, 2023, 12:31:45 PM
Couple of hours ago there is in news on Twitter saying BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) are developing a new currency. It was mentioned by State Duma Deputy Chairmen btw.

As I can see all these things to manipulate BTC right? What are your thoughts about this?

The BRICS wouldn't have any  more impact on Bitcoin than the Dollar is already having. As a matter of fact, to me the proposed currency is just a new improved dollar nothing more. It may even help to reduce the volatility of Bitcoin which to an extent is a result of over dependence on the dollar ( this is my hypothesis) . Well I am happy with the new development and look forward to it coexisting with Bitcoin in the future.
959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You shouldn't be worried about bitcoin on: April 30, 2023, 11:08:08 PM
Bitcoin is a new innovation that is going head-to-head with a lot of traditional and century old systems. And from all indications aside it's volatility, it has performed very well. And mind you, Bitcoin means different things to different people.
My worry is more on creating awareness that would lead to mass adoption than on whether it is here to stay or not. As a matter of fact, this is no longer a debate. Bitcoin is here for the long term.
