Poloniex is much zippier than it was. It is nice to trade there again Smiley

question about the amount the bot trades with, can the buy and sell amount be set to the max amount automatically?

No, for now you have to set the amount you want the bot to trade with and it stays fixed.

We will add an option to allow the bot use the profits it makes to continue trading.

Still trying to learn how the margin maker works the video is too vague to get much out of.

I was under the impression that the margin maker will move up as a coin moves up but after running it a few times now it never moves up as the coin moves up in price it just hits the top sell spot and sells everything no different from just putting in a sell order at a set amount.

Going down I had used a stop loss and that works.

Is the margin maker supposed to move up as the price moves up? if so maybe I have something set wrong. I would like to get it working right.

I have had a hard time getting it to do the first buy in.

Also, the US money amount is missing. When doing a Manual trade as you move the slider it shows you the US money amount as Total Buy (USDT) but when in the margin maker that does not show. Why is that missing? this makes it very hard to set a set amount of money to use.

What is the difference between relative and absolute stop loss?

I have turned off the Go for it - do not want double buy and sells and Bot can increase trading amount as I do not understand that one

I have the Max order age set as default to 0.10
Never buy or sell off. Avoid direct buy all off not 100% sure how to use them

Thanks for help on this

Thanks for your message.

The margin maker can move up or down with the course but to allow it do that you need to set a minus Min Effective Gain.

Showing the amount of the second currency, in your case USDT, in the mArgin maker is missing but can be quickly checked by switching to the manual tab. Not ideal I know, but we will add it to the mArgin maker soon.

The difference between relative and absolute stop is that absolute sets a fixed price and relative is set a percentage amount away from the last buy.

The "Bot can increase trading amount" option allows the bot to increase the amount it uses to trade so that it can get a total more than the minimum tradable allowed. As the total is amount*price, the total the bot uses can fall below what's allowed by the market if the price decreases. Having this option turned on will allow the bot to continue to trade.

I hope that helps.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

The history of the recent ZRX coin on Poloniex is not appearing, and disappears after restarting leonArdo.  Is it possible that the collecting service needs to be restarted?

Yes! Data collection has been re-started.

Thanks for the heads up.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan, what about that always spinning gear (at the upper left conner), that tries to connect to the non-subscribed market after accidental click. It annoys me a lot and prevents from choosing the pair from correct market. v 3.4.1

If I'm not mistaken that happens when you accidentally click on BTC-e which is, for obvious reasons, not available anymore. If you re-download the latest version it omits this exchange.

Sorry about the inconvenience.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

1) I run 3.4.1 build 10652061. When reloaded it says - up to date. What is the latest and how can I download it?

2) And, eventually, another one will come on the place of BTC-e. Why do not have an option to switch off the markets I am not subscribed to?

Good point.

As it was a minor change I didn't update the version number, so even though it says 'up to date' if you click on that link you will be brought to the downloads page. Just re-install from there.

As for switching off the markets you are not subscribed too. That's something we could add in a future version.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

I'm interested in purchasing LeonArdo but I'm relatively new to trading and I'm not sure I understand how to operate it properly.

I realise there are tutorials on the site in the forms of video however they don't really elaborate on how to trade and why.

I guess it's outside the scope of the application to teach me how to trade, but does anyone have any pointers to good resources on learning the ropes in relevance to the functionality provided byt his app?

Let me go one step further -- does any native English speaking person want to give me 1-2 hours of tutorial on how to use this in-depth via Skype/screenshare, etc.? Will be sand-boxing in the demo environments before purchase of the app.

Paying 0.5 ETH/hour -- 1 hour minimum, ¼ paid 15 mins in, another ¼ halfway through and the other ½ when complete. Right reserved to terminate the session early if I can sense you're out of your depth.

Hmm, you are willing to pay more for due diligence than what the product costs.

Why not watch the tutorial videos, try the demo some more and if you have any specific questions post them here or mail me: contact@marginsoftware.de

Of course, you are welcome to find your own path!

Best wishes,
Jonathan

App seems horrendously unstable... It's crashed 3 times in the last 12 hours and this is only in demo mode? lol

So I purchased leonArdo and tried to run on ubuntu 16.04

None of the options allow me to input my key pair. There is only unclickable black screen, no boxes. Windows version does have boxes, if the windows box ever finishes updating I'll try it, but not an ideal solution

Any ideas? Demo version worked

Are you talking about the login screen? I just tried it on Ubuntu to make sure it works and I did not face that issue.
Did you download the most recent version?

Just added new ETH pairs to Bitstamp.

As their API doesn't support dynamic pairs being added it requires a new download and install to get it.

Zero fees on those pairs until Oct 1st by the way Smiley

Bittrex keeps turning WITHDRAW back on how can I make it stay set to off.?

I go into the API keys settings and turn it off and update keys and shows that it is off then going to any other page and go back in to the API settings and it is back on every time not staying off.

Anyone else having this problem too?

Really? Haven't seen that before.

Anyone else encounter that issue?

Hey there Jonathan,

Will there ever be conditional limit orders in the program? For instance, if a coin hits a pre-determined price it will trigger a sale or a buy? Bittrex has that option so your limit order is not on the public books to view until a price triggers the actual order.

If's its available in their API we will add it soon.

Jonathan

Hello,

I am getting some interesting bugs now and it happens even after I clear all of my leo data in local files.

I'm getting these random buy/sell notches that are not at levels I have bought or sold from on multiple coins. I first noticed it the other night when I made a sell and it was hundreds of dollars lower. I quickly verified on bittrex and the order did go through correctly but leo just displays it oddly.

Hmm, will look into it.

Thanks for the heads up.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Hi there,

the problem with Bittrex seem to be originated with high loads on the Bittrex API.
We are working on improving the error messages to be more descriptive.
If you guys still experiencing issues, please let us know Smiley

All the best,

Hi Jonathan,

I hope, that you had a good vacation with your family.
Did you regognized my posts 1 or 2 sites before, as the problem still persists?  (#1435 and #1437)
Some markets on bittrex have wrong candles. Volume isn't correct and most parts of the candles are missing. Most worse market pair is NEO/BTC
http://imgur.com/a/DqIO9

Best wishes

Thanks. I'm still in Ireland until Thursday and have only very limited Internet access as I am in the mountains.

I just checked bittrex and most of the pairs I loaded, including NEO didn't load an order book. Could it be that the API is under such heavy load at the minute that it is not delivering? I will be able to investigate more tomorrow as I will have internet access.

Sorry about that!

Are others having difficulty with bittrex right now?

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Overheard in Dublin

"Did ya hear 1 bitcoin is worth more dan 4000 bleedin' dollars?"

"You're jokin'. You know wat dat means, right?"

"Wat?"

"leonArdo costs just 0.021197 BTC"

 Wink

Yes, remember that we have priced leonArdo in dollars. So for just $89 you get a lifetime license for leonArdo that can connect to a single exchange. The Ultra package allows you connect to up to 7 exchanges and costs only 0.042083 BTC.

Hey Guys,

We found a general issue with the demo-market implementation that could cause a crash when running strategies.
This should be fixed now! Updated versions can be found on the website.

  Rene

Hi Thang,

If I'm not mistaken you told me that you got it working using a VPS and somehow it might be related to your location and some restrictions. I've no clue why it isn't working? Sorry.

We have other customers from Vietnam and they don't have the issue you have. It seems like you have some particular issue.

If you are who I think you are, I have already contacted you about your third bittrex key. Please send me a mail about this.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

hello, i haven't heard back from you guys to my email. so i thought i give the forums ago.

I've ran into a particularly stupid issue with the login. after i purchase the software my screenshot of the secret key didn't save some how.
so i'm pretty much locked out from actually using the leonardo with out using it once Sad  and i cant get the API keys to show up again. whats the best course of action from here?

Sorry for not getting back to you, although perhaps you have had a mail by now.

Just create another API key and send us half the secret. We'll get you a new copy.

Best wishes,
Jonathan
