941  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcointalk Charity Program - Give Hope To Everyone $1 Is A Big Thing For Them on: April 25, 2019, 07:39:21 PM
I tried to find threads like this on Bitcointalk where I can donate to some charity but wasn't able to.

Feel free to join my charity raffle. I've been trying to raise awareness (whenever I am online)

942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / [ANN] Announcing SurajCoin - The coin with no use.. yet.. on: April 25, 2019, 07:36:09 PM
This is a personal project. The coin's utility is undecided as of yet but I'll update this thread as I go along.

As of now, it is a ERC20 token, has no use or monetary value.

You can trade it on DEXs at your own risk as I make no guarantee of when the project would be actively developed. I do not even have a teammate for this project, once I have a team, the development will begin.

Current website is : www.Surajcoin.com

The previous discussion on what direction the project could take can be found here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5026213.0

Although I am not sure if Surajcoin would be developed in that discussed direction or if it would be something else altogether.

Why the coin first?

- As an experiment. Used a free tool.

943  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Wallet name suggestion on: April 25, 2019, 07:27:18 PM
I was wondering if you guys could help me decide on a name for a new multiwallet?

Ideally, it should be a name that marries the idea of a native coin that exists for the wallet (as an utility token) and perhaps it should convey the idea of providing a one stop solution to a multilayered industry problem.

Let me know if the requirement is a bit vague.

Think of this as a contest, if select your name, I'll reward you with 1000 Freecoin and 1000 Surajcoin

Both these tokens that I'll give away hold no monetary value.

Try to stick to a synonym for "All in one" or something similar.

945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES on binance on: April 18, 2019, 07:48:11 PM
What do you guys think about the WAVES' future? Does it really stand a chance against ETH and everyone fighting in this space?
To me waves is a project that at least has something real to give to the community so it is better than 99% of the projects out there but the 1% waves is competing against are no joke, the waves developers are competing against other decentralized exchanges and they also want to get some of the market share for ethereum, so for the time being I am bearish on waves but once the bull market comes waves is one of those coins I will keep track since I expect spectacular profits.

The accepted number of standard tradeable cryptocurrencies out there are around 1700 .. 99% of that is 1683 .. so you mean to say that Waves is the top 17 of all crypto's out there? Possibly better than them?? I don't think so.

I'll quote myself again here ;

There are very limited opportunities for altcoins. Especially one like waves that offers the creation of other altcoins. Long story short its entire existence is based on being a better clone of Ethereum. The only way I can see it having any future is if it targetted certain demography and certain nationalities.
946  Local / India / Re: Crypto hearing in Supreme Court today on: April 18, 2019, 07:41:53 PM
The case has been postponed till 2nd week of July and now they have been postponing the case since over a year. I don't even know how the court allows so many times a case to be postponed and for so long. While there are so many countries that have recognized bitcoins, our country is still behind waiting to ban it. The petitions, drafts were all wasted.

So many times? This is nothing! Cases stay pending for decades! Why do you think all the street protests were happening after this was postponed?
I'm glad at least there's a sizeable community of crypto supporters in India so that at least in places like Delhi and Mumbai we're seeing these protests.

I've stated before on how I think the whole judicial system is corrupt, so I don't have any high hopes with this case.

948  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: World's first Decentralised Social Media platform on Extended Reality powered by on: April 18, 2019, 07:37:17 PM
..GOFINDXR..

Not clicking your referral url here. Also this is not facebook or twitter, hashtags don't work here (thankfully). Also, I don't think the AR/VR industry will benefit much from its amalgamation with blockchain or cryptospace.. so anything gofindxr is doing with their decentralyzed protocol for AR / XR apps would be an extremely niche market.

I mean hey! If google glasses didn't turn the vr/ar industry on its head, almost nothing will.
949  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A set of developers needed for a long term project on: April 18, 2019, 07:33:08 PM
You'd find it more easy to get the attention from developers that you want if you included the details of what you're paying them. Once you do that, I'll add this to the jobs and request board that I run, or you can do that by yourself as well.

One piece of advice, no matter who you pick to work with, at least in the initial days, do not pay them a dime in advance. Have everything held in a trusted escrow here or on Bitrated.
950  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [Legendster's Charity Raffle #1] Win x3.5 of Ticket Price!! on: April 18, 2019, 06:06:36 PM
I was unavailable for a few days. I'll be pushing this thread to respectable members of the community to see if I can accelerate the process. Once I am able to free up some cash, I'll sponsor a ticket or two myself.

To determine the winner I will use Bitcoin blockchain to determine the winner.  The last character of a chosen block after the raffle fills chooses the winner.

951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV gets delisted from Binance and Shapeshift! Kraken might follow. on: April 18, 2019, 06:03:24 PM
Calvin Ayre and that asshat Craig outright blackmailed Hodlonaught. I follow Calvin on twitter and Craig on Medium just to be entertained by the amount of shittery the spew out on a daily basis.
Nothing that comes out of their accounts makes any coherent sense. I wish they get sued. BIG TIME.

However, there is something good that may happen from this, Satoshi might finally come out of his hibernation and put the matter to rest about who really he is.
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For those bounty hunters who can hardly relate (Part 2) on: April 18, 2019, 06:00:07 PM
I'm not sure what you expected to happen here. When you got involved in a shitcoin campaign then you should be prepared for such 'shittery'.

The worse you can do to them is expose them and their names WHILE they are backtracking from one promise to another. If an organization can't pay the people that have raised money for them then they are not to be trusted with anything.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I deposit 37001 whitecoins to cryptopia exchange this week by mistake on: April 18, 2019, 05:56:18 PM
Regardless of when they announced what, I suggest you file a lawsuit against them for unprofessional conduct because this is clearly unprofessional.
They won't recover your money, not because they can't but rather because they don't want to. That's pathetic. They should be sued first for the money then for covering legal cost.
It's only a matter of how many people would want to go the distance to do this. I'm not even sure that after losing so much money if OP has enough mental capacity at this point to carry on with such a thing.
954  Economy / Gambling / Re: TPLAY token is used in crypto-casino on: April 18, 2019, 05:51:23 PM
If you registered to the site and gave a valid phone number they will actually call it. I have received a call to verify that you are a real person or maybe to minimize the spam because they are giving away 100TPLAY token.

I have received my 100TPLAY as promised in the site. The call that I have received had feedback and I think that the operator doesn't have a noise cancelation headset.

but this is contrary to the fact that the owner wrote about the anonymity of the platform, a phone call destroys the whole chain of anonymity

I was about to make an account there but then changed my mind seeing the phone number as the only option to make an account (To get free tokens) .  I don't see the any need for you to ask for the phone numbers unless you have an hidden agenda of spying on gamblers.

Nevertheless, i like the name of your site, FAIR PLAY   Fairplay.io   Smiley

lol I don't think there is any agenda here. Especially if you are talking about spying on gamblers.
I think opening the account with phone numbers might be a low-level KYC to screen bots from real players. Many sites do it, even google does it.

957  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: ColdCard hardware wallet on: April 18, 2019, 04:59:21 PM
The wallet looks to be pretty tiny and compact. I like it. Not a big fan of the transparent casing but I can get behind that as well. However, with "cheap" in the product's slogan, it still costs $100 for a single piece. That's nearly twice the price of a Trezor or a Ledger nano s..
958  Economy / Services / Re: UNLIMITED Captcha and recaptcha v2 Solving Package on: April 18, 2019, 04:54:20 PM
With such low membership fees, I wonder what you are paying to the captcha solvers. You pay them per 1000 solved captchas or more than that?
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Good coins to mine with big CPU rig? on: April 18, 2019, 04:52:26 PM
I'm not a "pro" miner but if I was one, I'd pick a good balance of the cheapest available coin with the highest market volume and capitalization. These are the first to spike when a bullrun in btc occurs. Beyond that its all just a gamble these days. Any "good coin" can get a massive increase in its network difficulty and you'd be left high & dry with no profits.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help for a beginner on: April 18, 2019, 04:43:22 PM
It's not profitable to mine any leading coin if you're just breaking into mining. Trust me, there'll be many unforeseen hurdles. The most important thing to keep in mind is the volume and price stability of the coin that you're mining. Typically you should be able to sell off on a weekly basis. With an unknown known it becomes very hard to know where the volume or price will be in a week's time.
Other than that, what @Harai Goshi said is pretty much on point. Check the date on that youtube video.
