How convenient for the Fed that a new covid variant "suddenly appears" right before the month they talked about tightening?  Money printer will never not go brrr. They just need an excuse for the public. Yep, of the 100 variants over the last few months, they decided to use this one for their media attack dogs. They know they can't taper, infact, they know that they must keep increasing the brrrr. Just needed that excuse to save face. I think they've already seen the early retail data coming out, and realize that hardly anyone is buying anything anymore, for Christmas or otherwise. They already know that this shopping season is going to be a bloodbath of red. The whole world is deflating, and they know it. So this is all a smokescreen cover for a controlled demolition of the world economy. Mass layoffs, lockdowns, and firings (due to non-compliance with a certain mandate) is not just a byproduct of all this, they are actively seeking a shakeout of tens of millions of people from worldwide employment. They need small businesses to fail and close permanently. They NEED it to maintain big corp profitability and to get more cheap debt fuel from the Fed. A quick look at the falling labor participation rate proves this. Jobs that are permanently lost and never coming back. |

It reminds me a little bit about what I said to a loved one that ultimately got them to want to purchase Bitcoin many years ago. I said it was an answer for all the people who so often ask, “but what can I do?” Easy. You can buy Bitcoin. Bingo. Now that voting for uncorrupted politicians to fix the system has become impossible, buying Bitcoin is the ONLY thing you can do. You now have to "vote" with your wallet. And the beauty is that it's an incorruptible vote. You take the power back. |

It's one of the reasons I believe and want to believe in BTC. I can't see myself competing with 25 year old software developers when I'm 70.
When I was a software developer, it didn't take me too long to look around at all my colleagues and think "Why are no other software developers here over the age of 35-ish? Hmm..." And when I saw the few developers that eventually got promoted to management positions that were in the 40's and 50's, I said "Oh shit, I don't want to become one of those clowns either." (even though I eventually became a Sr. Director for a while...) I used to tell people that work for corporations to just look around at their colleagues, if you don't see people still there that are in their 50-60's, it means you're not going to be there for very long either...certainly not more than 10-15 years. The company is ageist and lets go of forces out expensive older workers. |
