Dok - if we have all our stuff setup through the config-heavy, config-normalv8, config-mox, etc -- will we need to do anything new?

I have all my config files and pool files setup etc.

Well you need to have a start.bat for every config you have.
Or what are you asking ? Cheesy
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.7.5 - native algo switching on: December 30, 2018, 11:24:33 AM
V1.7.5
- Added parameter --setup in cmd, which creates basic config files for user in interactive mode
- Added 'old_mode' parameter to config outside gpu_conf
- Added notification if using old kernel
- "worker" set in pools.txt now works for webchain too
- Fixed a few things regarding webchain mining

+ Added parameter --setup that creates basic configuration files for the user in an interactive mode. This is a quick way for beginners to set up everything and start mining.
Also added guided-setup.bat in the package that runs the --setup mode.

+ 'old_mode' was a gpu_conf only parameter until now

+ Webchain is a weird coin Smiley
To set the worker-id , use the 'worker' parameter in pools.txt file

Same problem reported here since v1.7.1 or more the vega rig became unstable.  My rx580 rig have no problems with v1.7.4.
Vega 64 rig with v 1.7.4 get ramdom restarts, and i increase the mv in all gpus, lower intensity , and same problem!!

Im running a Vega Rig, but has no such issues. Which algo are you having these issues?

Are you running the latest 1.7.4?

Driver version, algo, config file?

Does the miner restart, and work ok after that, or system freezes?
Can you describe ? Maybe i can find out what is happening

It was all ok on 1.7.0 ?

Also how often is this happening?
Is there any specific case you maybe noticed?

Hello everyone,
I used this miner for a while on my rigs but I can't get them stable.
Using windows 10 with 18.6.1 drivers ( srb almost stable)

I use only reference card with blower, vega 56 and vega 64 and some vega 56 with 64 bios .
Im using these PPT for all cards Core P0-P6 : 900mv Mem P0-P2 : 900mV

Most of the card are running 1395 core 945 Mem for Vega56  and 1395 core 1090 mem for Vega 64 . (925-900 for some 56, 1025 for some 64)
Best one are running 870mv core 850 mv Mem, bad ones 950 core and 900-930 mem.

The best hashrate I can get with that settings are 2020h/s for vega 64 but average is around 1950h/s for 64 and 1900h/s for Vega 56.

Someone can help me to find best settings for reference card , PPT ? overdriventool settings ? Miner setting?

Can you decide which miner are you using, TRM or SRB?
I see you pasted exactly this same text in their thread.

I am pretty sure the power consumption isnt just 'growing' because of the miner, if that was the case then there would be reports of it already and a lot of dead rigs Smiley
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.7.4 - native algo switching on: December 29, 2018, 05:56:36 AM
Hello Doktor.
Is there any changes in 1.7.4 on heavy algo - 580 8gb (ellesmere)?
With v1.7.2 - 1250+
With v1.7.4 - 1000- Sad

Nothing has changed you should have the same speed or maybe a few hashes more.

To doctor83:

Thanks doctor this is an awesome miner. However, I have a problem with my 6x Vega 56 rig. Every a few days, 2 or 3 days actually, the miner seemed to reach to a very high power consumption and the power surge tripped the breaker. It happened a few times so it does not look like an accident. Any idea how this could happen? TIA.

Maybe your PSU is weak for 6 vegas + algo you are using ? You should probably tune your cards with PPT and overdriventtool if you haven't done so yet.

Hi, pls add "worker-id" param to srbminer  (otherwise statistics on a webchain pool is incorrectly displayed   )

also problem with pool

need help to modify my pool

pool code:

import "encoding/json"

type JSONRpcReq struct {
   Id     json.RawMessage `json:"id"`
   Method string          `json:"method"`
   Params json.RawMessage `json:"params"`
}

type StratumReq struct {
   JSONRpcReq
   Worker string `json:"worker"`
}

No need to modify pool, i can modify the json.
So it needs a "worker" parameter outside the params, that's all ?

THANKS !!! hvala puno

A lot of compute errors with last version, Rx 580.
About half of hashes are errors in V8, I was using 1.7.0 so not tested the ones between, never had a error with 1.7.0

Are you using the latest release of 1.7.4 that has a time stamp of 12/27/2018 10:30PM for the exe?

Because that is what the problem was for me.  The original releases did not find shares for my RX470s.

Juan, you are talking about webchain algo right?
I fixed and re-uploaded the fixed version.
But he is talking about v8 ?

any reported hashrates for webchain ?looking fwd to try out srbminer soon. thx for the hardwork Smiley

Would be interessting to see what Hashrates are possible. Has anybody some Numbers?

Stales and duplicates are pool related, use loud mining pool its the best.
Also number are like v7 - a few %

I've been using for a long time loud mining pool. Port 4444 and 5555, but duplicates and stales share still appear. I'm sure the problem is in the SRB miner.
LOUD-Webchain miner working fine.

1. srb displays accepted shares only, so those are accwpted shares, nothing to worry about.
Loud miner does not display this. So thats why no share stales there.
2. Srb sends every share only once, it has an internal table of sent shares so the same share cant be sent twice. that means no duplicate share is sent from the miner and that is 100%
You can see this for yourself in the log, find the 'duplicate share' message from server, above it is the json that was sent to the pool, there is the parameter 'result', copy it and search the whole log file, and see that you won't find that same result more than once sent to the pool.

You are SURE the problem is in my miner, i am sure there is no problem with it.

I re-uploaded 1.7.4 if anyone was wondering, because i fixed a bug with webchain, that caused compute errors on some cards.

two card in test rig
rx480 4 gb and !!!!! r9 290 4gb
off r9 290 card and all work
1.7.4 have trouble with old card

going to check that out, i know that rx480 works, but probably i forgot to update the kernel for old cards

edit:
Bingo, re-uploaded , try it now and report

need old cache?Huh

need to read first page where it's written:

Don't copy newer version of miner over old one, or if you do make sure you delete .srb files from Cache folder before running it!
