961  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is anybody here actively trading on BiteBTC? Is it legit? on: July 12, 2018, 02:28:32 PM
So I've read some bad things about this exchange, and it's mainly accusations that they might do an exit scam after they've collected enough money with listing of various tokens for certain prices.

On their twitter they sometimes make airdrops for newly listed coins (some still in ICO) and I gotta admit those are the best airdrops I've ever done - in case you sign up on time you get the coins within a week or two - no complaints really. And some of the coins that they airdropped are trading at a very high price on their exchange (compared to ICO or the DEX they're listed on - none of them are listed on bigger exchanges yet)

But I can't trade them on their platform because it required KYC, and apparently they are really really slow with approving KYC's - a lot of people are complaining about not getting approved even 2-3 months after sending in their KYC.

So my question for you guys is:
Has anybody here gotten their KYC approved and is anybody here actively trading on this platform?

Your feedback would mean a lot. I'm still thinking whether or not I should send in my KYC.
Although BiteBtc is not a popular exchange and probably a lot of people never heard of it, it is not that bad as people think , however from the reviews that i have read it has slow transactions and exchanges within the platform take sometimes 24 hours to get completed, as for the KYC it has become a thing where almost all the exchange platforms in order to keep things legal, so you are better of using popular and trusted platforms that people know of.
962  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: July 12, 2018, 02:09:12 PM
Well most of us here are already aware of the hacking activities of binance and bancor. They are taking practical measures to track down the culprits but the question on my mind is why could coincidentally both exchanges be hacked? Now it appears that the exchanges are not moving at a faster and innovative ways to upgrading their systems and allow these hackers time to study their systems well, identify the loop holes and cause the problem. In my opinion, exchanges should always move in an unpredictable way so as to always confuse these scammers .The scammers are scaring new investors away and this must stop.Exchanges must be up and doing so that we can attract new investors into cryptocurrency else our efforts are going in vain to attracting new investors.
I think that all of this hacking is just an inside job or a flaw from one of the employees, because there is not possible way that they can hack them that simple, either one of the employees was involved and tricked by people and blinded by his greed to open a little port to let the hackers in to the servers for exchange for some of the profit, or one of the computers connected to the main server was infected with virus, i used to study internet security so i know that hacking out of the blue is not possible.
963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption can save lives now! on: July 12, 2018, 11:40:15 AM
It is not just bitcoin, using digital currency will decrease the amount of robberies overall, but using cryptocurrency will deny it completely, having credit card is still going to compromise you but cryptocurrency is just beyond that, thieves are not that smart to be able to hack accounts and servers to steal people's money, people need to understand and know what the cryptocurrency is all about and know that it is more than just an investment because its true form and its true meaning is obscured by the media.
964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fastest Dice Site? on: July 12, 2018, 10:37:17 AM
Sorry to make a topic like this but,

What is the fastest dice site with a minimum bet of 1 satoshi?
What do you mean by fast, there is really no fast dice site unless by fast you mean you don't need to create an account and deposit money into it in order to start playing, than in that case i only know one site which does that but it has gone out of business which is directbet, as for sites with minimum bet i think almost all of the popular dice sites out there have that option and in fact some of them give 10 satoshis or more whenever you run out of balance just to keep you playing sites like Yolodice and freebitco.in are probably the best ones i know of, but with such small amount don't expect to win much.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Opera browser has launched its cryptocurrency wallet! on: July 12, 2018, 09:03:38 AM
Opera browser has launched its cryptocurrency wallet. How do you think this will affect the development of cryptocurrencies?
Well this is not a big news and it won't affect the market in any way but it is still a step towards the inevitable future of having cryptocurrency taking over the whole online payment system, and this only goes to show how much crypto is a technology that will lead the world toward a new era, and also how much progresss it has made and how popular it is getting even though it is still a fairly new thing, and i am sure that in no time we will see it on top.
966  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop dreaming about the perfect trade on: July 12, 2018, 08:31:44 AM
Perfect trading is simply impossible to achieve every time. It requires time to learn about the strategies as well the market. Some enter with the blank idea expecting a large scale profiting. Here with luck very few succeeds while at the same some end up losing big. Every time we cannot make buy low and sell high possible. To which we always need alternate plans to implement based on the market.
One of the biggest flaws of the cryptocurrency market is that i made us greedy, each time the price starts going up it makes us exited and gives us hopes and dreams beyond what we expect, buying low ans selling high and getting a huge profit out of it is a thing that can only happen once in a while, just like what happened last year with bitcoin where people bought at 2k and sold at 17k , and since than people had this mindset of the same thing happening again, i think that if you want to win in this market never set your hopes high and never expect to make huge profit or get greedy.
967  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency or Stock Market? on: July 12, 2018, 12:17:44 AM
As we all know, stock market had been there for a very long time now and on the other hand, cryptocurrency is a fast rising trend when it comes to the world of trade and commerce. Some may prefer to invest in crypto because of high returns but some will still go with stock market and play it safe.
In your opinion, what will be the best option to invest your money on?
Well obviously if i had the choice to invest i would invest in stocks market, not that i don't like cryptocurrency or anything, but you said it yourself stocks are safer, they may not have as much profit as crypto does but it has so many people involved in it and government support it unlike crypto that could be banned easily and that will destroy it, and it is as they say better be safe than sorry.
968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Mainstream In The Next 10 Years? on: July 11, 2018, 11:30:12 PM
According to a study conducted by researchers at Imperial College London, cryptocurrency has the potential to become a form of payment that is widely used for decades to come. In their research report entitled "Cryptocurrency: Overcoming Barriers to Trust and Adoption" Professor Imperial College London, William Knottenbelt, and Imperial College Business School Dr. Zeynup Gurguc, argue that cryptocurrency has so far acted as a store of value like a fiat currency.
Well there is no doubt that the world is changing and people are constantly looking for new ways and new technologies to make our lives faster and better, and cryptocurrency is one of the technologies that will definitely push the world to the next era, however i think that a lot has to be made in terms of development and research in order to make it salable and a payment method that anyone in the world can use to send transaction instantly with minimum fees, because as we all saw what happened last year when bitcoin went viral the network was not able to handle the traffic and transactions were stuck for days and miner fees went to the roof.
969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: July 11, 2018, 10:33:26 PM
Ok! I was actually trying to get reasons why people get addicted to gambling which we all know is more self inflicted. However, I came up with this theory for someone who may actually want to gamble and then would not want to get addicted based on trying to fix their mentality about it and I would like to seek your opinion on what you think about it, if it can actually end up working for any gambler or not.

The theory is;
If you want to gamble, see it more like you are paying the casino or gambling platform to have some fun (just like you do to go watch some movies in cinema), which if you are paying for anything, you are not meant to expect it back. The good thing however is that, you can actually end up being paid more for having that fun if you get lucky, but the chances of seeing that happen is pretty slim. In that light, if you cannot actually live with doing what I said above, then you should not be gambling at all.

Does this sound like a mentality that can help anyone understand what they are in for if they indeed want to gamble or something even those who are tending towards addiction can set their mind to so as not to get into that deep gambling hole that is hard to come out from?
Well that sounds completely reasonable, but the problem is that all people know that, they have the mindset of going into gambling just for fun but they always end up playing another one and another one and before they know it they are stuck and can't go back, it is similar to people who are addicted to video games they start playing for fun and slowly they become hooked to the game and can't quit it.
970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be calm when the market falls on: July 11, 2018, 09:09:11 PM
One strategy that works best in times of fall in the market is to remain calm, and not allow yourself to be blown by panic. Just hold the tokens with large caps and even if possible, buy more tokens and hold. For some coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum, it is always certain that whenever there is a fall, there is definitely going to be a rise.

What will you do when the market falls?

I personally think that everyone should move according to their own preferences and not to how the market actually work, because if you just follow the market step by step you will find yourself panicking a lot and losing more than you are wining, setting your own preference and flowing it and setting a price point at which you want to buy or sell is much easier and less stressful.
971  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: July 11, 2018, 07:01:05 PM
stupidity is so close to poverty, do you agree with such a phrase?
if it yes, means the poor are the fools.
I want to know your opinion.  Grin Grin
Well not necessarily because some people don't have any choice, i mean if you look at people living in their world countries where the economy is shit and low the year born poor and really can't do anything about it, but if we talk about stupidity than the people who get their selves poor like the ones who lose all their money in gambling or in trading are the real definition of stupid, and also some people have the option to chose to stay poor because they either don't want to take risk that could chose their lives.
972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should stay off from market prediction on: July 11, 2018, 04:16:38 PM
Predictions are just what people hope to happen or at least influence others, so if they want the price to go up they say that the price is gonna go up and people seeing that are going to buy and that will lead to the price actually increasing, and the same goes the other way and if you are not an experience and have no idea about the cryptocurrency market than you will believe these prediction, but i guess this does not really work in the bitcoin market because everyone know that its value is always going to be increasing
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Preferred crypto betting site ? on: July 11, 2018, 09:47:30 AM
I personally prefer FortuneJack, i say this from my own experience and not to promote them, but i think it is one of the best gambling sites out there, not only do they have great website with user friendly interface that is not that complicated yet very inviting, but also they have a wide variety of games and betting options, withdraws are quick and you won't have to pay any fees for them and the customer support does not take ages to respond like the other sites, you just send a message on the website and they respond instantly there is no need to send an email or anything, the only flaw that they have is if you are trying to withdraw a large amount it could take a while for you transaction to be completed.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will you still use MEW? on: July 10, 2018, 08:37:33 PM
Another day, another hack.  Basically My Ether Wallet was hacked via the chrome extension hola.  At this point it isn't known how many users have been affected or how many tokens have been lost.

https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2018/07/10/mew-hack-hola/

So my question to you is will you still use MEW?  Do you think it is their responsibility what happened?  The hack that happened a couple months ago was bad enough, but now another one?  I find it hard to believe that their credibility will be salvaged after this.
Well obviously people having their ether wallet stone is due to their stupidity and ignorance and trusting shady and suspicious extensions, i don't why they try to compromise their accounts by using their party programs that are useless, and MEW is not responsible for any thing that happens to people who no nothing about account security, and i don't think that anyone will stop using it because someone didn't know how to secure his account propaply.
975  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning to trade on: July 10, 2018, 04:38:00 PM
I have been learning how to trade btc and altcoins by myself and having my experiences. I read online articles on trading signals and what to watch out for.  I've made some profits and lost a good deal.  Good thing I started with very little capital. Right now everything looks so negative especially as btc went so bearish.

I need advice on how to improve my trading because I really want to do this Angry

Yes lost of negative spreading. But do not bother about that. No need any articles to learn about trading. Because this is the right place to learn and improve yourself. Just go to Trading discussion session read other post and gain knowledge. Instead of keeping all the money in single coin, better split into other altcoins. Also you need patience to gain profit.  Initially start it with a small amount so that loss will also be less. With this small initial amount you can make only a minimal gain, but can gain much experience and knowledge about the trading. Once you are confident as much with trading they you can go ahead with large amounts.

I kind of believe that the best and the most efficient way to learn trading is just to learn the basics from various places and just experience it yourself, because just sitting and reading people's comments and various ways of trading  will never lead you anywhere , it is ok to try and fail once or twice but it is not ok to be afraid of trying things yourself, because trading in cryptocurrency is risky and requires courage.
976  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin volume is still rising ? on: July 10, 2018, 02:04:55 PM
Do you think Bitcoin still on the rise in terms of market capitalization ?
Well of course it will always rise the market cap is dependent from what the actual value of bitcoin is so even if the price is going to fall the market cap will always rise be cause there constantly bitcoin's being mined and that increases the supply that exists on the market and thus increasing the market capitalization that it holds, and besides the market cap is just nothing more than a statistical number that shows how much the bitcoin dominates the cryptocurrency market.
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Last call for those who will invest in low price for bitcoin. on: July 10, 2018, 01:01:05 PM
As we all know that to make optimal profit here in cryptocurrency specifically in investing bitcoin is to buy low price for bitcoin and sell in higher price. This is why others think that holding is the best way to earn and in fact they are right. So for those who are still eyeing to invest in bitcoin this is a call for  you to invest now while market price is still low.
The problem that some people have is that they are hesitant to invest because they think or they want the price to go even lower than it is right now, and for that i think that anyone who is trying to invest in it to just go ahead and do it, because even if the price goes down its gonna go down by a couple a hundreds and not something dramatically because it won't affect those who are going to invest a couple of thousands, it will only affect those who invest millions into it, and besides they can make it up by holding a bit longer when the price goes up.
978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tell about Bitcoin gambling site and your opinion & experience on: July 10, 2018, 12:37:51 PM
One of my first and best gambling experience was on directbet, which was and still the best betting site for me , because they didn't ask you to create an account or any type of identification you just go in pick your bet and send them the amount and after you win they send it directly to your wallet, i used this site many times and had a lot of winnings on it, my friend introduced me to it and it was the reason why i started liking gambling, but unfortunately last when the network went to hell with transactions taking a long time to confirm and miner's fees going to the roof the site went out of businesses, i tried getting back to gambling through other sites but i didn't enjoy as much as i did on directbet.
979  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulated Australian Cryptocurrency Exchange to Launch Ripple (XRP) Trading on: July 05, 2018, 10:15:18 PM
Does this means that Ripple is going to rise? Do you guys think it is a good thing to buy it??

I already have it but it seems that this is probably the BEST time to add more into this. I will really like to hear what others feel regarding this news! I don’t prefer Bitcoin or other Cryptocurrencies at the moment due to risk and high value.

https://cryptonewstrends.com/ripple/regulated-australian-cryptocurrency-exchange-to-launch-ripple-xrp-trading
Well i think that this news might give it a push that it needs to go up but even if it did it will end up going down again, i don't feel like ripple is a good coin because of its really high supply and centralization i think that it is a good example of what the altcoin market have come to of pump and dump situation, so it is good to take advantage of its rise but it is not a coin that you should consider holding for a long time.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How dare ETH to scramble for position with BTC? on: July 05, 2018, 10:07:09 PM
Although BTC has a stable position in the blockchain, but don't overlook ETH development, maybe it will become the "second BTC". What is your point on this opinion?

http://blog.epay.com/c/how_dare_eth_to_scramble_for_position_with_btc
I think that etehreum is more being used than bitcoin as we are seeing so many ICO based projects that are constancy being released and that shows how much development and how much ethereum can bring the blockchain technology to various fields, and for that i think that over time etehreum will surely become a strong candidate or bitcoin, but never surpassing it because bitcoin is the first of its kind it is like gold it never loses its value and everyone and whatever happens people are always going to support it.
