961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PRIVCY the nextt 100x on: April 18, 2019, 04:29:39 PM
I'm confident privcy will be trading at the $1-2 dollar range by the end of this year.

https://privcy.io/

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, I don't see any indications on the chart for signs of accumulation and hence no incoming price bump. However, if the crypto market as a whole takes a turn for better then something might be possible.
962  Economy / Economics / Re: How adoption will happen on: April 18, 2019, 03:29:44 PM
I'm going to sound like a broken record but adoption will not happen out of the blue.

We need ease of use, cryptos in all its glitz and glory are still beyond most 90-year-old grandmas. Until that happens you won't be able to lure in the people that really have money to use this tech.

Once that's taken care of we need a need of use. You can't expect people to ditch fiat and go all in on crypto without a proper reason for them to do so. However, the upcoming recession might provide the perfect "reason" .. beyond that new marketplaces would also push the adoption.

Then, we need a stable-er price. Sure, stablecoins exist, but stable coins are never going to be the reason why people join the 'crypto revolution'.

Finally, we need to create an ecosystem where no one needs to 'cash out' to fiat. The moment you do that, you're beating the purpose of Bitcoin as a functional currency.

There are many more technical reasons but I think for the purpose of this thread, this should be the focus of discussion.
963  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitmex expert needed on: April 18, 2019, 03:20:17 PM
The thing with Bitmex's leverage trading is that you can place trade orders with more money than you can afford to lose.

Since you're somewhat familiar with trading already, I'd recommend you to watch this video :

And if you want to share your info about why btc will pump in the following months, then you can join this group and let the members know : t.me/CrptoLoversWW

Good luck
964  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Ticket on: April 18, 2019, 03:17:31 PM
Can we buy a plane ticket from BTC?

Right off the top of my head, I can name 3 places where you can buy plane tickets with BTC.
abitsky.com , travala.com and cheapair.com

Keep in mind, the last two are travel agencies.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The FREE Coin, the first cryptocurrency for global cryptocurrency usage on: April 18, 2019, 03:12:17 PM
While I don't think Free-coin is an absolute joke.. but the price seems to be manipulated on a regular basis.

I like cheap coins though, so I've put in $10 and basically stashed it in my wallet. Became like $30 ish in a day. I'm not touching it until a major bullrun happens with btc which would be the perfect time to cash out. I'd advice the same thing to any "investor" that might want to risk their money with this.
966  Economy / Services / Re: High Quality Virtual Assistant(Doodle, DFINITY...) on: April 18, 2019, 03:09:27 PM
Good luck with your service listing.
Keep an eye on this thread : JOBS & SERVICE REQUEST BOARD (Post Hiring requests HERE) [ t.me/CrptoLoversWW ]

There are many requirements that are posted on it.

PS: Consider lowering your asking rate, speaking from experience that's a bit high.

967  Economy / Services / Re: ✔️ Need to boost activity? We create hype in your Telegram community 🚀 on: April 18, 2019, 03:07:01 PM
So if I understand this correctly, you are offering shilling services. I assume you can at least admit the fact that these kinds of services does no good to the project in any way what so ever. So to all future buyer of this service - use caution when buying this service.

The seller may never get tagged - but I will tag every project that I see has bought such services.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: HELP NOTRE DAME - Cryptocurrency Community saving the World on: April 17, 2019, 07:46:17 PM
Really? A community of thieves and scammers are we not? I think that joke of a website is set up by some pathetic low life asshole who is going to collect money in the name of donating to such a disaster and just run with it.

That's just my years of experience being in this community talking. And also my astute sense of observation which tells me that is one shitty website with a shitty script that too for such a cause.

And you know what? I think that's you! So I'll tag you! Please prove me wrong if you want me to remove the tag.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES on binance on: April 17, 2019, 04:26:00 PM
What do you guys think about the WAVES' future? Does it really stand a chance against ETH and everyone fighting in this space?

There are very limited opportunities for altcoins. Especially one like waves that offers the creation of other altcoins. Long story short its entire existence is based on being a better clone of Ethereum. The only way I can see it having any future is if it targetted certain demography and certain nationalities.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin cleansing on: April 17, 2019, 04:07:48 PM
So binance have delisted BSV and hopefully others will follow soon. Should exchanges collaborate and delist all the other shitcoins?

Coin cleansing will help the crypto economy by focusing more on real projects, but it risks centralisation

You should have read the fire-spitting tweets from Calvin Ayre when bsv was delisted. It was hilarious! He outright called Binance a criminal organization! Apparently, he had no issues with such a criminal corporation right up until bsv's delisting.

No amount of cleansing will save bsv, it should be buried and forgotten about. Sadly we know that won't happen.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How HOT will be HOT? (Holo Token) || BINANCE lists HOT [Holo Token] on: April 17, 2019, 04:03:22 PM
Regarding Holo, I expected a high jump and an epic dump shortly.. it is good for wild sharks without scrupules.. for a quick move.. IN/OUT and change to something else...On the other side, in the last weeks BInance has being also seriously critiziced for the IEOs.. i have been following closely a project called Beatzcoin, and in fact prefer that it is not listed in BInance so far.. just wait for its development to create an organic demand

First of all, this thread is for HOLO, so let's stick to the topic.

Secondly, I looked them up, looks like they have an ICO due in 13 days. They have team reserved 18% for the team and 30% for marketing development and reserve?  That's quite a bit of reservation there! Obviously, that token's being prepped up for a massive dump the moment it hits exchanges. Any asset with that much reserve is not meant for public use. I'd stay away if I were you.

those lazy newbies who doesn't know how to use the Search Panel.
I can guarantee you that lazy members never read pinned threads.

It is a bad practice but it is a fact: most users ignore pinned messages, FAQs and TOS, then they start complaining about not being aware of the rules (better keep bumping these threads on a daily/weekly basis).

😢

Can't even say a thing. What solution can be made for the sake of them. But I think it's still not a Bad Idea.

There is no cure for ignorance my friend.
Besides, most of loyce's unpinned threads are out of date - a fact that you've admitted to. Pinning them won't do any good.
973  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: [Hiring] looking for airtel money agent to send me fiat 10% comm ETH or BTC on: April 17, 2019, 02:47:57 PM
I need an airtel agent to send me airtel money to Malawi from India. PM if you're interested and reach me over at @galactivale on Telegram. I'm only offering fixed 5% commission no negotiations.

Thanks.

I suggest you close this thread right away as I remember telling you explicitly that this isn't possible. It is not possible to remit money through Airtel Money to Malawi from India.
I'd be surprised to know of any Indians who even know where Malawi is on the map. No offense.

You should seek help from Nigerian communities here on BTT. Nigerians have strong connections to India.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How HOT will be HOT? (Holo Token) || BINANCE lists HOT [Holo Token] on: April 17, 2019, 02:42:59 PM
What you think? should i buy today if not bought already? I have been away from crypto and bitcoin stuff for a while. Lets catch up on telegram again? I will ping you

First off - where the hell have you been? I have left you numerous messages on telegram back in January.

Secondly. Only invest in HOLO if you are in it for the long term. Due to their overabundant supply, it might not be the best thing to invest in for short term. The price-volatility will eat you up. Especially if you're not a whale.
975  Local / India / Re: Getting paid in bitoin - taxes on: April 17, 2019, 02:40:11 PM
Yeah I got high end pc but it's not related to rendering at all. If you are 3d character artist or specialized zbrush sculptor then feel free to contact me with your work. Would love to help out fellow bitcoiner.

I have approx 8 years of experience in gaming industry and so far got countless numbers of AAA games credits under my belt. I used to work for steam and Konami.

Getting into games was my ultimate aim and I almost made it. No AAA creds to my name though.
I kinda phased out of the industry to due to personal problems about 2 years ago. I am trying to get back on my feet so yes, you will have a PM in your inbox.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB what will it cost? on: April 17, 2019, 02:24:35 PM
So buying binance coin is basically investing in the binance company and site itself right?  Similar to like apple so to speak?

Absolutely not. BNB is not a security token it is a utility coin. Its use is limited to paying for crypto fees and investing in new tokens launched through Binance Launchpad. No one should think that buying BNB is equivalent to buying shares in Apple.

Binance as a corporation will make profits whether or not BNB appreciates in price.
977  Local / India / Re: Getting paid in bitoin - taxes on: April 17, 2019, 01:23:09 PM
20lpa is average amount in my line of work.  If one got experienced and contacts then he-she can earn more than 20 lakh pa. If none of them then one can't even earn 5 lakh. Have experienced both scenarios.
I am full time freelancer and work as a 3d character artist - modeler for 3d games and miniature industry.
One piece of advice stay away from desi clients if one wants respect, work satisfaction  and handsome pay.

How ironic! I am from the same industry and a freelancer as well. Yet I made close to 10lpa at my peak years.
You must really have strong connections .. and a really beast of a render machine.

Returning to the topic at hand. OP should only pay taxes on the invoiced FIAT equivalent of the crypto amount at the time of its creation. Since btc or any crypto is not regulated and not even a legal payment mode yet, you can't pay tax on "capital gains" and neither is it a good or service -unless you are selling the crypto as a broker, in that case, you'd be paying a forex tax - which is treated as just regular business income in India.
