Okay I've seen you post several times now and haven't thought much of it. I got into VTC however on 1 dollar when a friend of mine deeply into tech analyses tipped me off on it.

Verge is hyped a lot by people who missed all the pumps on other privacy coins (imo) - I don't actually see this coin ever being used personally (can be wrong).
Used to be Dogedark but they took distance from dogecoin and rebranded to verge. It's current price won't allow it anywhere near markets where privacy coins are used frequent like buying XTC,Pot and other psychedelics. Monero has that covered for now.

LTC was heavily scrutinized aswell, Ethereum was called a scam, monero had lows you can't imagine with its current price, Dash has been accused of and is still considered by many a scamcoin. If you don't know anything then all you have to do is say nothing.

ICO's are only hyped because a small group knows what they're doing, they have large sums of money available and are profiting big time.
Everyone's hoping for that next Ethereum-like coin that will go times how much hundreds in a span of weeks or months. Whilst the chance that this happens is slim, also I think most ICO's are immature company's who just see this as the most viable way to either get started or raise enough to never get started at all. There's little demand for actually using these coins and a big supply of ICO's selling their crap. I was thinking about going huge into ICO as opposed to the regular trading most people do but I'm already put off by the immense amounts being raised.

ICO's can be extremely profitable but most likely you will just lose money. I think people get bought into the idea of a company whilst not realizing that it takes a lot to build a succesfull company and they should expect a lot of businesses to fail.

As a beginner trader - I made an ROI on Vertcoin today. Though I expect it to see much higher prices really and will be hodling - I hope to hodl this for a long long time.

I think its because alts are really low and there's still plenty of time untill fork. Money goes to BTC rises>Altcoins drop> BTCdown goes>altcoins rise>money goes to BTC>cycle...
You can expect it to wave up and down only during the actuall fork we'll really get to see whats going on.

With so many people hyping this coin just because of the privacy feature and they all feel like they missed out on the other spikes of privacy coins I will never touch it, its also DogecoinDark. I'll just be dumped on.

I bought at 2.77 so meh.. there's still plenty of time untill the hardfork to get a good entry, I'd wait for it to go atleast under 3$. Wouldn't even suprise me if it saw 2.20 or under that really. I think the dips haven't really come yet, there's still time untill fork sets in.

Question gets asked like every day, there's a search engine for this forum in the top right. It works with what (sub)forum you're on at the moment. So general search go back to the main page, specific search go to the subforum related. Nobody really knows whats best to buy into or you're some market genie/wizard and in that case its very unlikely they will share it with everyone. I could recommend you some I have invested in, but I can't guarrantee anything. Out of all these seemed most favorable to me:

IOTA
ATB (randomly bought cause I wanted to explore their wallet features, that its up for me in green is a luckshot)

Keep most in BTC.

I think it might get a bit tighter short term but I think long term you can expect China ICO's again. I mean they don't ban for no reason, so that means there are opportunities.

ICO space is becoming more watched by larger regulatory parties. There are some company's aiming to become a regulatory body within the cryptocommunity. NEO has potential but I'd say its future surely isn't guarranteed. If you consider buying into it anyway, now is the chance.

Life is, there's plenty of opportunity but many shun it. I think every person has an inherent will to get the most out of life and themselves, those who resist because more generally they fear the outcomes, they fear the opinion of others and fear themselves achieving something, can't get past this to get real with themselves.
Misery loves company and thats exactly what happens to most people. People don't take time to ''know thyself''.
History has repeadedtly shown that the best and most revolutionary idea's are often the ones that get you outcasted, tortured or killed. The mainstream saying that this is all madness and crazy affirms to me that this is outside their comfort box, that it takes pioneers who are willing to take the risk and see the potential and opportunity.
That is why I think most people are unsuccesfull because I am here and they are not.
