Do you have a technical analysis site you use to track the trends?
The great thing about applying technical analysis to bitcoin trading is that the trading is 24 hours a day. That gives us a lot more data to use for the trend, the stochastic, the week and monthly trending, etc. It's possible that some new trending behaviours may come about due to the extensive data available.
Are you creating your Fibonacci analysis on your own? If not, what site are you using?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1133078.0Hey all, I started this poll in the Bitcoin forum room, it's about gathering data on bitcoin wealth by region. I think this would be really interesting data to collect. Others feel the same way. The best part to make this data collection most valuable is to get as much participation as possible. I know many people only follow certain forum rooms so it's quite possible that many of you don't frequent the Bitcoin forum room, hence my invitation to participate in the poll. Give it some thought. Follow the link. Take 20 seconds to complete the poll. I'd be grateful for your participation. Thank you. I already remember voting on this a while ago, but take into consideration tons of people here don't understand a word of english and might not vote. You should translate your thread in every language possible for a more accurate result. Haha, not sure if that's a joke or not, but if you're able to translate the contents of the poll please share it with me and I'll post it in the language specific forums. 55 people have responded to the poll and there are thousands of people on this forum. It would be REALLY fantastic if we could get some high numbers on this thing, that's the only reason I'm sharing the link on a few different sub-forums that I tend to hang out in. Seriously, share with me some translations and I'll post them. Thanks.

Wil, your thread topic headlines always catch my eye!
The Donald is doing an interesting thing in politics. The US needs a rogue voice to inject some honest opinion and direct conversation in the usual pre-scripted political dialogue. It's also interesting to see how his competitors respond. Some rise (yes rise) to that level of honesty and direct approach, most will not. This could lead voters to vote Democrat (i.e., Hillary) if they think that Trump represents the "crazyiness of the Republican party".
The problem I have with Trump (aside from not agreeing with some of his opinions) is that he doesn't appear to understand that he needs to represent the Country, not himself. A guy representing a country can't make off the cuff remarks that are potentially slander to a race of or large group of people.
Penn Jillette has an interesting opinion on the Donald and his candidacy (aside from the personal feud Donald seems to have with him.)

I am considering a scenario in which bitcoin is the only currency in use or becomes the world reserve currency. The scenario is mass adoption of bitcoin. In such a scenario, is it possible for Fractional Reserve Lending to exist? Historically FRL began when banks started lending more gold certificates than they actually held in gold in their vaults. Today banks can take the money deposited by their customers and lend out up to 99% of it to other people or gamble it in the stock market. If bitcoin were the only currency in use, I don't see how lenders could ever lend out more than they actually held in reserve. I don't think it would be possible unless they had "bitcoin certificates" they were lending out or something, but why would people accept these?? So the question i guess is: If bitcoin is adopted, does that put an end to Fractional Reserve Lending? I certainly hope so. In theory, NO. Fractional reserve lending requires that there's an entity that can "create" more money by making loans out of thin air. That can't happen in Bitcoin...not without SEVERE risk to the lender and the account supporting the lender. One difference between bitcoin and traditional banks is Governments offer guarantees to savers with banks because they guarantee that their balance, to a certain amount, will be reimbursed if the bank goes bankrupt. This guarantee allows banks to lend out a majority of their balances on deposit to other people, which fuels the fractional reserve economy. If bitcoin can't be guaranteed by some government it can't be in ANYONE's favor to offer lending if there isn't significant reputation to repay or collateral.

Why do the 90% of you who reply "yes, I earned bitcoin today" from signature campaigns respond to this topic?
50% of you, at least, don't get paid for the post. So it's not worth your time to post here...it's not worth the Forum's space to entertain this post! Hell, I won't even get paid for this post!
Stop wasting everyone's time. Stop wasting YOUR time!

I think variety is the most powerful option for bitcoin wallets. It allows people to have diversification over there holdings - soft wallets, online wallets, cold wallets, mobile wallets, desktop wallet, hardware wallet, web wallets, and whatever the future holds.
Unless you can devise better security the existing options are suiting all needs. What better or improved options do you have in mind?
One thing is for certain, there will always be a market for a better and safer bitcoin wallet.

First, I wouldn't put much value in what anyone on Disqus has to say...it's just an opportunity for anyone to post anything about anything. It doesn't give them any credibility at ALL.
People that post on forums directed to a specific topic at least have enough information to either like or dislike that specific topic. So people that comment here, like yourself, are much more knowledgeable about this topic than anyone on Disqus. Don't let those that don't dedicate time to know about a topic have any value in their opinions.
With that said, the guy speaks the truth when he/she says that when Forbes or IBT is talking about it heavily Bitcoin will have made it (provided the comments are positive.) Fortunately for you you'll already have some 'coin in your pocket!
Forget that other guy!

The idea of Bitcoin becoming a national currency is scary

Come on Wil, don't make us do all the work!
What's this about?
What does "up like Trump" mean for the Donald?
What's your opinion?

This is interesting, I've seen it happen first hand too. So what do you think this will lead to - more support for even higher minimum wage? Reduction of benefits income requirements?

Don't forget that anything that runs in electricity can go down. That's a scary part about Bitcoin, it doesn't survive a societal breakdown where ppl are "off the grid". What happens to the block chain in that scenario?
It brings new meaning to "cold storage"!

Thanks for the invite! What do you mean by wild speculation? I've never heard that term before, thanks.

Is there still only one bid? What are you all waiting for?
P.S. professional, respectful suspicion is ok...it's the "looking out for each other" part of the community.

Updated topic - no longer looking for a 25BTC, but still after the rest.
Inquiring minds want to know, are you no longer looking because you've acquired what you were looking for?

Derivatives are the evolution of investments.
Derivatives are great, they expand our thinking, they expand the opportunity to make money.
The problem lies in the lack of regulation to keep derivatives, what are experimental investment ideas at the start, from completely destroying the common investor. Maybe the problem is in regulation. Maybe the problem is with the investment advisors selling these things to people who aren't "sophisticated" enough at investing to understand all the risks that match the reward they've been sold.
If we lose derivatives we lose growth.
