Please submit a support request to get a replacement device.
Do I have to update my Ledger Nano S if I am not using it?
We recommend regularly updating your devices to benefit from the optimal security level and user experience offered by our products.

It's tricky to get email notifications right so that they're not too spammy. Maybe later. For now, I added this page where you can see your IP logs for the past 30 days: https://bitcointalk.org/myips.php . You could pretty easily write a userscript to periodically check this and warn you if it's weird. (But don't scrape it on every pageload.) I don't want to make older IP logs automatically accessible because that'd give a hacker a bunch of useful/sensitive information. But 30 days is probably not too harmful.

A wave of bans: 400 yesterday, 300 the day before. What changed?. [UNBAN APPEAL] Total list + Unban progress. A wave of bans: 400 yesterday, 300 the day before. What changed?). - Hay 98 miembros baneados del top 1000 meritados (ver re: A wave of bans: 400 yesterday, 300 the day before. What changed?).

It was all over the news yesterday in Spain, with images of crypto-ATMs being confiscated by the police force, wheeled out of a store that sold IT equipment. The two ATMs that were decommissioned where the stars, leaving the eight detained members of the crime gang in as secondary actors in the show. Europol worked alongside Spanish Guardia Civil for months to uncover the money laundering scheme, which seemed to be provided as a service to other criminal groups. The estimate is of around 100K Euros being washed each day. In went the cash into the ATM, switched to BTC, and back to FIAT in Colombia. The ATMs were as legal as you can get now, belonging to a sort of franquise. It appears they used a bunch of fake ID cards to perform the operations, making sure no single TX was over the radar limit. The police also decommissioned a bunch of crypto wallets, whose TXs add up to an equivalent of 9M Euros in a three month period. Pretty over the top it they wanted to stay under the radar. Not the ideal news for BTC ATMs. These two ATMs now have the arguable honour of being the first ATMs to be detained in Europe (so as to say …). 1. IntroductionOk, I’ve made up that gene, but it represents rather well what I want to depict in this post: A few weeks ago, we got our first Newbie that made it to Hero, needing Merit in the process (see ). The post also shows those that made it from Member to Hero, and a few others that were on the ranking-up pipeline, very near to reaching the Hero rank. While creating that post, I was surprised to see that many of those listed posted also (and is some cases exclusively) on the Local boards. That discovery led me to this post, where I’m going to try to depict the share that Local Boards have in accounts, being Merits de driver used to analyse the information. A complete lists of all merited users and their stats can be obtained here, baring all the merit history in the calculus (data as of 12/04/2019): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EwdBrA9GoFgEgFhVEKgvc8BF6pTBRaw1AiPrrZM8aq0/edit?usp=sharingColumns (non-trivial): nMeritsLocal: Number of Merits earned on Local Boards. nMeritsGlobal: Number of Merits earned on Global (English) Boards. nMeritsDel: Number of Merits earned on deleted posts (or on non-retrievable posts). nMeritsTotal: Total Number of earned Merits. nMeritedLocalBoards: Number of distinct merited Local Boards a person has been merited on. BestLocalBoard: Local board on which the user got most of his local board merits on. nMeritsBestLocalBoard: Number of merits obtained in the best Local Board. PMeritsLocal: % of merits on (all) Local Boards. TotalGroup: Total number of earned Merits (group cluster). LocalGroup: % of earned Merits on (all) Local Boards (group cluster), excluding deleted posts. TypeGroup: Earned merits: Only on Local Boards, Only on Global Boards, Local and Global Boards (disregarding merits earned on deleted posts in this case). It’s rather interesting to play around with the list and filter/sort by diverse criteria (most merited, greatest %, by best local board, etc.). Note: Deleted/non-retrievable posts should ideally be attributed to Local Boards or Global Boards in this analysis. This is not feasible, which means that some people may have been merited on certain boards which we now do not know of, since the post was deleted or is now irretrievable. 2. Overall viewAn overall view of merit distribution in relation to forum members that post in Local Boards, Global Boards or both, can be seen here: We can see above that, out of the 360.195 earned Merits as of last Friday (12/04/2019), 65,10% go to the Global Boards, 29,78% to the Local Boards, and 5,12% to posts that have been deleted (could include other concepts here too such as posts not retrievable from the scraper). What’s also interesting in the above data is that, out of the 27.733 merited users, 15.928 (57,43%) were merited only on Global Boards(*), 8.331 (30,04%) only on Local Boards(*), and 1.910 (6,89%) on both (an additional 1.564 (5,64%) have their merits based on deleted or non-retrievable posts). (*) I excluded deleted merits from the group creation. Some of them do have in addition some merits tied to deleted posts.
What’s even more interesting is that that the average merits per user for those that post on both kinds of boards is way above the rest of the boards: 54,08 merits/user vs 11,69 of those that post only on Global Boards and 7,83 on Local boards exclusively. Now all those groups have a fair share of (statistical) standard deviation, so interpretation is delicate, especially when one of the groups is significantly smaller than the others. The above is not to be taken verbatim: Posters merited on both local board and global boards are not merited per se on average five times more than those who only post on global or local boards. The above figure is not breaking down what marginal contribution each kind of board has to the average. It does denote though that many of the better merited forum members do have something to do with local boards to some extent. I then delimited the data to the top 100 vs rest, and the result is this: As we can see, the top 100 merited people consist of those merited on both Local and Global boards (43%), Only Global (54%) and Only Local (3%). That distribution is fairly different from what we was on the first chart, and shows the importance of local boards in combination with global boards for the top 100 merited people. Nevertheless, the local merits represent only an average of 13,76% for them, vs 84,49% of the global boards. Average merit/person is similar for Local and Global and Only Local groups, and lower for those Only Local (but the group is very small). 3. Number of Merited Local Boards per personThe above image shows how many Local Boards a person has been merited on. As expected, those merited on Local Boards are almost always merited in a single Local Board. There are nevertheless a few exceptions. Specifically, 74 people have been merited on two Local Boards, 4 on three Local Boards, 2 on four Local Boards and 1 on, … roll of drums …, 9 Local boards. All the data can be seen in the file linked in the introduction (simply order by nMeritedLocalBoards descending). The profiles merited in more than two Local Boards are: user_id name rank nMeritedLocalBoards nMeritsLocal nMeritsGlobal BestLocalBoard url 1267993 Leteravian Full Member 9 141 4 Turkish https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1267993 1038373 narghat Jr. Member 4 7 0 Turkish https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1038373 1606609 Furgon Chino Member 4 8 4 Japanese https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1606609 1891055 vladimirhf Member 3 5 3 Portuguese https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1891055 217199 sbogovac Legendary 3 9 10 Dutch https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=217199 1018610 luna2017 Member 3 13 0 Russian https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1018610 1311641 tvplus006 Sr. Member 3 91 299 Russian https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1311641
@ Leteravian has been merited on the following Local Boards: Arabic, Croatian, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish, and has been inactive for a month now. 4. Percentage of Merits earned on Local BoardsThe above shows the number of people that have a certain range of earned merits (rows), and what percentage of those merits come from local boards (columns). I’ve excluded from the calculation the merits earned on deleted posts, so a person with merits on both local board and deleted will show as 100% local on this table. For example, for those 76 people who have earned over 500 merits, 40 have earned no local board merits (and are therefore Only Global), 13 have less or equal to 10% earned on local boards, and only 1 has earned all his merits on Local Boards (@mole0815). Roughly, for those merited on Local Boards, it’s a rather even 50:50 between those that have earned there under half of their merits, and those that have earned over half of their merits there. 5. Average Merits per Best Local board (per person)The above image shows the best Local Board distribution on merits, and the average per person merited on them. I’ve only considered here the best local board per person (so the total is a few hundred merits short). For those merit exclusively on Local Boards(left side table), the highest averages go to the French German (11,62), Turkish (11,26), and Italian (10,91) boards. The lowest are Hebrew (1), Indian (2,18), Korean (2,23), and Romanian (2,81). For those merit both on Local Boards and Global Boards, the highest averages go to the Romanian (111,47), Dutch (101,35) and Japanese (98,33) boards. That is on average around six times the figures of those that are only merited on Local Boards. Now we have to be very careful here, since those averages are influenced by many amongst those top merited. For example, @LoyceV has been merited on the Dutch Local board (1 merit) and therefore drives the average pretty high there (since he is in the Local and Global group). @Suchmoon has received 5 merits on the Russian Local Board, but has less influence in the Russian Average. 6. Final considerationWe could take the top n forum members out of this analysis, but then we lose precisely many heavyweights that got merited on both Local Boards and Global Boards, and therefore cripple the "multilingual gene", which is what I wanted to see here. The message is that we must not take those averages verbatim, but people that are merited on both local boards and global boards have, in general, better averages than those that are only global board or only local board. It’s also interesting to compare the average merits on the left hand side table, with the AvgMeritsLocal or the right hand side table, and AvgMeritsLocal vs AvgMeritsGlobal on the right hand table.

1. Introduction.I’ve managed to get my hands on inner information as to the KYC Process, and how it is rolling-out. The information was entrusted to me under the strict imperative of not doxing anybody. This analysis therefore abides by that imperative, and no list will be provided with ties from account to person. I have been asked though to pass the raw data along to Cambridge Analytica … 2. KYC Pipeline. As per the raw data received, the pipeline KYC clearance process is going extremely swift, on the verge of being world record breaking. In fact, the company in charge of the process, whose name cannot be disclosed due to my NDA agreement, has undergone the task of hiring hundreds of people at a decent salary (in HoweyCoins). Strangely enough, production plants of corporations such as Nike, Adidas, Apple and Zara have reported severe rates of no-show today, leaving them with a lack of qualified personnel. The KYC pipeline process so far is as follows: 3. Breakdown by Gender. The 1.166.830 approved accounts (out of 2.558.034) that have already cleared their KYC process have the following distribution by gender: 4. Breakdown by Age.The 1.166.830 approved accounts broken down by age show as follows: I have asked the KYC company to recheck the above 100 data, and they claim that it is correct beyond doubt. 4. Breakdown by Country.
The 1.166.830 approved accounts broken down by country show as follows: 5. AnecdotesWithout doxing anybody, I can safely provide this information as true: 1. A, lets call him farmer John Doe, has provided his ID to give clearance to 13.310 accounts. John Doe currently gives employment to over 500 people, and is considered one of the wealthiest people in his country. 2. Multiple Photographs seemed unearthly. Nevertheless, advances biometrics confirm them to be real (although the tend to wear a full exoskeleton to mingle amongst the commons). 3. Some non-doxed KYC verified account owners: D_N_LD TR_MP, VL_DIM_R PUT_NG, MR. BE_N, W_LLY, B_B SPON_E, MR. SP_K, DR. W_O, DA_ROS, N_COL_AS M_DURO, K_M J_NG _N, FAT_ER X_AS, J_HN SN_W, and so on. 4. Many KYC applications were submitted along with personal notes, in an attempt to bribe the reviewers through ample amounts of altcoins. These applications have been given top priority. 5. A Mr. J_HN MC_F__ application has been rejected, on the basis of not stating a country of residence (“open ocean” apparently). Reviewers were not too inclined personally to approve the submission either, after having lost vast amounts in pump & dump processes.

Note: Others have reached Hero Member (41 in total) from other ranks that allowed them to have an initial Merit airdrop. The above focused on those that started with cero handicap. Edit 1: I'm amazed that the vast majority of the above have been merited on Local boards and English boards. I'll see if I can complement that fact tomorrow. Edit 2: Note -> I created a rather more complete topic recently called Stats on the Rank pipeline - How many are we on the way to ranking-up (II) ?, which included all the ranked-up members (from/to) that needed merit in the process, as well as the pipeline-status (the referenced thead has a link to a google sheet with all the names and so on). This post was really a quick post to emphasize on the first Newbie to have made it so far under the Merit System, and while at it name the next upcoming Heroes.

Update 29/03/2019: Included the data for all 21 Local Boards: - French, German, Philippine, Russian and Spanish were the original ones, and are depicted in further detail in the OP. - Arabic, Chinese, Croatian, Dutch, Greek, Hebrew, India, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Scandinavian and Turkish have been added to the Merit Dashboard. I have not created an entry in the OP for these additional 16 Local boards (that’s what the Dashboard is for), but if anyone wants it for a specific local board, I can capture the screen and comment it here. 1. Introduction.Recently, my local board (Spanish) seems to be a bit rather scarce of posts. There are a bunch of decent posters there that keep the local board beating (most of them also post in the general English sections), but engaging and building activity there is painstaking. That motivated me to take a look into post evolution on my local board (see Análisis - Número de posts en el foro Español), and I thought that it would be interesting to do for other Local boards. Now creating a specific post thread for each local board is too cumbersome, so I’ve tried to compromise a solution (less information that a static analysis) that can be viewed on the Merit Dashboard ( go to the last table labelled "Post Count Evolution"), and extended further if I have time. I’ve currently drawn up the data for the following local boards: French, German, Philippine, Russian and Spanish, over an 18 month period (to see recent tendency, and draw a line somewhere at retrieving information manually). In summary, what I’ve done is the following: - Retrieved total post count for each depicted Local Board at regular time intervals, close to being one month apart on each reading. The dates I’ve chosen are not end of month nor beginning of month. That is due to the fact that there is more snapshots available on the WayBackMachine around the 25th of each month. The actual date selection is not that essential, since I’m going to focus on Net Post creation in readings that are as close to being one month apart as possible. The data retrieved is at local board level + first level of child boards. This tasks is manual, number by number, and I may have mistyped a number or two in the process (although I did my best to avoid doing so). It’s an interim sort of task, boring, tedious and repetitive. - I then calculated the number of net posts created between two consecutive readings, and that is the data that shows on the Dashboard. That is, I’m focusing not on how many posts exist at a given time, but the number created roughly in a month. It’s important to emphasize that I’m looking at net posts created, and not number of posts created. Net posts = number of created posts – number of deleted posts +/- number of moved posts. When you compare the number of posts between two readings, what we are really seeing is the number of Net posts created, as we cannot retrieve (without inner data files) the number of created posts on its own. The results are interesting, but you need to be careful interpreting the data, and especially with the outlier net posts created at times: - Sometimes, a certain month’s reading for a specific child board is negative. I can only assume that the reason is that more posts have been deleted/moved than created. On occasions, these negative net post readings are pretty large, so I assume that a heavy moderation clean-up took place. - The opposite can also happen, with abnormal positive net posts created. That may be due to threads being merged as I saw on the Philippine local board. - It could be a typo on my behalf, but I re-checked most outliers to minimize this possibility. Having said that, a certain background under the scenes type of context is necessary to understand the outliers, but the general trend can be seen regardless. 2. French Local board. The top line chart ("Total PostDiff") shows how the number of net post creation has evolved over the last 18 months, going from 10.991 net posts created in the month running up to the 25/11/2017 to the 1.435 net posts created over the month leading up to the 26/03/2019. That is a hell of a drop, and Altcoins seem to have a lot to do with it (as can be seen on the lower chart). On the Merit Dashboard, you can play around to filter by a specific child board/s and therefore have the charts adjust to the selection (use the Subsection filter or click/multi-select from the numerical table above the charts). Adding a screen capture for each child board here would be over the top, so it’s better to play with the Dashboard. The Recent Share pie show that Altcoins represent 49,15% of the net posts created over the last 18 months, followed by Débutants (10,90% - Beginners) and Hors-sujet (10,04% off-topic). The French local board behaves pretty smoothly, with barely any negative values in the data table, so the overall 18 month pie is likely pretty reasonable. Even so, if you filter the data to specific monthly readings (click or multi-select the columns on the data table), the distribution ratios vary. For example, if I select the columns "25/01/2019", "23/02/2019" and "26/03/2019", then Altcoins is down to 25,85% of net post share, and has been overtaken by Hors-sujet (32,30% off-topic). 3. German Local board. The top line chart ("Total PostDiff") shows how the number of net post creation has evolved over the last 18 months, going from 10.918 net posts created in the month running up to the 25/11/2017 to the 2.976 net posts created over the month leading up to the 26/03/2019. The drop is less than half of the French Local Board, having a similar starting point. The Recent Share pie show that Altcoins represent 50,11% of the net posts created over the last 18 months, followed by Trading und Spekulation (20,38%) and the Main default (9,13%). Even so, if you filter the data to specific monthly readings (click or multi-select the columns on the data table), the distribution ratios may vary. For example, if I select the columns "25/01/2019", "23/02/2019" and "26/03/2019", then Altcoins stays at 50,50% of net post share, followed by Trading und Spekulation (22,12%). These values are very similar to the overall 18 month values. 4. Philippine Local board. The Phillipine local board is rather simple, with a Main board and a single first level Child board (Altcoins). The top line chart ("Total PostDiff") shows how the number of net post creation has evolved over the last 18 months. This case has some outliers: - 25/11/2017: -34.454 net posts in a month running up to the date. - 27/12/2017: -9.354 net posts on the Main board in a month running up to the date, and +20.522 created on the Altcoin board. What seems to have happened is a purge of the main board, and the creation of the Altcoin, largely from threads moved from the main board. - 25/01/2019: A boost on the Altcoins of 25.631 net posts. I cannot conceive how that is possible, unless there was another section that was merged. A massive outlier, just around the time the local board was rebranded from Philippines to Pilipinas. The Recent Share pie is messed up with the outliers, so one should really narrow down the selection to exclude the outlier months. Doing so (excluding 25/11/2017, 27/12/2017 and 25/01/2019) the share is of 70,69% of net posts created on the Main board, and 29,31% in Altcoins. 5. Russian Local board. The top line chart ("Total PostDiff") shows how the number of net post creation has evolved over the last 18 months, going from 219.324 net posts created in the month running up to the 25/11/2017 to the 28.699 net posts created over the month leading up to the 26/03/2019. The maximum was 354.315 net posts on the month running up to the 24/04/2018, and the minimum was -11.916 on the reading of the 26/07/2018 (likely a large purge). The Recent Share pie show that Altcoins represent 63,51% of the net posts created over the last 18 months, followed by Paзнoe (14,36% - Miscellanea) and Tpeйдepы (5,15% Trading). Even so, if you filter the data to specific monthly readings (click or multi-select the columns on the data table), the distribution ratios vary. For example, if I select the columns "25/11/2018", "26/12/2018" and "25/01/2019", then Altcoins represents 79,05% of net post share. There are quite a few negative value readings, so I figure that there is constant purging of threads. 6. Spanish Local board. On this local board I have already excluded the data for the month leading up to the reading of the 26/03/2019. This is a massive outlier, with net negative large numbers for posts on the Altcoin and Market and Economy boards (I assume some massive clean-up has taken place). I’ve also excluded the reading of the 25/11/2017, since there were 1.876 net negative posts in the Beginners and Help child board (Primeros pasos y Ayuda). The top line chart ("Total PostDiff") shows how the number of net post creation has evolved over the last 18 months, going from 6.032 net posts created in the month running up to the 27/12/2017, to the 842 net posts created over the month leading up to the 23/02/2019. The post number decline is more pronounced from December 2018 onwards. The Recent Share pie show that Altcoins represent 71,70% of the net posts created over the last 18 months, followed by Mercado y Economía (11,57% Market and Economy) and Principal (7,17% Main board).

1. Introduction.Almost a year ago, I created a post on how the ranking-up pipeline looked like (see Stats on the Rank pipeline - How many are we on the way to ranking up? extension), and I thought that it may be interesting to create an updated version of the analysis to take a look at how things stand now. Most of what I’ve included here can also be retrieved and followed with weekly updates on the Merit Dashboard, selecting the tabs labelled “Ranked-up” to see those that have ranked-up under the Merit System, and “Ranking-up Pipeline” to follow the core of this post dynamically. 2. Ranked-up under the Merit SystemAs a general context, the following is a summary of what I make as the amount of forum members that have ranked-up under the Merit System ( needing at least 1 sMerit in the process): What the table shows is that 13.229 people have ranked-up (as of last Friday), making it: - Legendary: 10 (from Hero Member). - Hero Member: 38 (22 from Sr. Member, 11 from Full Member and 5 from Member). - Sr. Member: 100 (63 from Full Member, 6 from Member, 1 from New Era Newbie and 30 from Old Era Newbie). - Full Member: 174 (84 from Member, 13 from New Era Newbie and 77 from Old Era Newbie). - Member: 3.183 (437 from New Era Newbie and 2.746 from Old Era Newbie). - Jr. Member: 9.724 (4.783 from New Era Newbie and 4.941 from Old Era Newbie). One curios thing that stands out is that the number of accounts that have made it to Jr. Member are currently now nearly half and half between New Era Newbie (first merit >= 17/09/2018) and Old Era Newbie (first merit < 17/09/2018.). We could cross this data with last active to get some more insights, but that is not really the objective here. A full list of the ranked-up members can be retrieved from the Merit Dashboard, but I’ve also provided an easier (static – i.e. not updated weekly) access here to the complete list of ranked-up forum members: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-Kt6olnf_vTnNXa-l_LVX2as3Rwz-K727OMForuAYDA/edit?usp=sharing . Note that the column "started with" is sometimes slightly off when the person has been merited between the creation of the forum’s merit.txt file, and my profile scrape a few hours later. 3. Ranking-up pipeline - SummaryThe ranking-up pipeline summary looks like this: Out of the 27.147 merited profiles, 1.390 are not really in the ranking-up pipeline (Legendaries, staff, etc.), so we get a net of 25.757 profiles that are included in the ranking-up pipeline. We could go a step further and discard profiles that have not logged in x months, but I don’t think it is worth doing that yet (besides, they may revive as accounts). Out of those 25.757 profiles, 62,10% lack just the merits for ranking-up to their next level, 15,25% lack just the Activity, and 22,35% lack both. An additional 76 people are Heroes with the minimum activity (775) and the necessary merits (earned + airdropped), and whose formal conversion requires the activity to build a bit more and/or the ranking Legendary algorithm to kick-in. 4. Ranking-up pipeline – by RankThe ranking-up pipeline summary by Rank looks like this: The above gives us a breakdown of the table is section 3, by Rank. There’s a new segment category here, “3. Soon may rank up to Rank”, indicating that those people are within 20% of the required Merits and Activity (on both accounts) to reach their next rank. They are not the only ones, since those that are near the merit or goal rank individually are also near to their goal (more on that later on). Interesting to see:- 660 profiles would be legendries (or at least postulated at the minimum required activity threshold) with the old system, but not under the Merit System. - 1.210 Sr. Members would have been Heroes under the old system. - 2.657 Full Members would already be Sr. Members under the old meritless system. - 4.460 Members would have been Full members by now under the old system. - 7.009 Jr. Members would now be Members under the old system. - There are 3.284 Newbie accounts, with at least 1 Merit that have not ranked-up due to lack of activity. That is surprising, but there are likely causes such as nuked and being here for just to make a couple of questions or comments. 5. Ranking-up pipeline – by Rank and segment of Merits and ActivityThis breaks down what we saw in the previous chart, in order to show us just how close or distant each profile is within a given segment, creating subsegment quintiles for Activity and Merits. Hero and Sr. Member:Notice how there are 607 (out of 660) Heroes that we can now see that have only somewhere between 40% and 60% of the Merit goal, while having the required activity. Only 10 profiles are very near their goal (activity >= 100% - minimum for Legendary; merits between 80% and 100%). I’m not going to detail it all here, but the pattern is similar on all ranks. Full Member:Member and Jr. Member:A complete list can be obtained here (second tab): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-Kt6olnf_vTnNXa-l_LVX2as3Rwz-K727OMForuAYDA/edit?usp=sharing. 6. Introduction.Back in November 2018 (see Analysis - DT Depth 2 - Profile Distribution), I took some time to take a look at how DT trust looked from an overall point of view. What I did then was retrieve all trust scores from a DT depth 2 point of view, and see how many forum members had what range of trust score based on this view. After all, DT depth 2 is the most common view most forum members, and it seemed interesting to see what they saw. Since then, the DT configuration has been shaken quite a bit, and it seemed interesting to perform a similar updated analysis. On this occasion though I will not analyse all user profiles (basically because I lack a complete recent full user profile DB scrape), but rather I’ll focus on those forum members that are included in at least one Custom Trust List (be that trust relation of Trust or Distrust). This gives us the view of those included in trust lists from a DT depth 2 viewpoint. The base considered is that of the 8.868 forum profiles included in a Customized Trust Network. Trust has 3 components (A: B /C), where: A is the Trust Score. B is the number of unique users who have given the profile negative feedback. C is the number of unique users who have given the profile positive feedback. I’ve included a complete list with all the underlying information here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SBM3pmp0wVSETROtFUynE6yFvBbtTUS-DwSJQcXTiN8/edit?usp=sharingNote that the trust scrore was scraped yesterday, and already today I can see changes in relation to the current DT Depth 2 scores. 2. Trust Score (A) - DistributionTrust Score (A) has the following distribution across those included in a Custom Trust List: Things that stand out: a) 1.608 profiles have positive trust (18,13% of considered profiles), 1.428 have negative trust or unknown (16,10%), and the remaining 5.832 profiles have this value set to cero (65,77%). b) Positive trust is concentrated on Legendries (441), Hero Members (329), Sr. Members (298), Full Members (198), and Members (151) … and strangely enough Newbies (123). d) Negative or unknown Trust is concentrated on Sr.Members (309), Full Members (274) Newbies (263), Heroes (202), Legendries (186) and Members (150). e) There are 49 entries will a Null value, corresponding to profiles with the value ?? (unknown), a deliberate part of the Trust score algorithm. This morning I read an interesting local article in relation Puigdemont, infamous ex-catalan president, and now a fugitive from the Spanish Judicial System that wants to trial him for rebellion. Rather than focusing on the political side of things, I was more concerned with the economical facet. The complete article can be found here: (see Puigdemont quiere que su república digital cuente con un banco y una criptomoneda], which translates as: Puigdemont wants his digital Republic to have a banc and a cryptocurrency). The core of the article’s content seems to be derived from what Joan Canadell (a Catalan pro-independence businessman of certain entity, with ties to the political sphere) has explained recently, and therefore has it’s weight in terms of aspirational feasibility. Making an effort to leave the political elements aside, what stands out after reading through the article a couple of times is the fact that there is a wish to create a cryptocurrency for those that are pro-independents to be able to pay their goods with (that would be 50% of the region of Cataluña in the best case scenario). Out of the payments one were to make with this cryptocurrency, a percentage would be transferred to the (seven second) Republic. In other words, this cryptocurrency would inherently be born alongside a digital taxation to finance the Republic. The cryptocurrency at hand would not be anything like Bitcoin, which is solely a means for speculation (not my words - theirs), but rather a stable coin, tied to the Euro on a 1:1 ratio. The bank they want to create is pretty universal too in terms of aspiration: You would be able to access the bank through an app, if you have your Catalan republican identity. The bank obviously would offer all it’s charms: heart-felt identity, way lower fees, and much more efficient than other existing banks. Of course in legal terms, the app-bank would not be able to act as a proper bank in all sense (i.e. bank deposits and credits could not legally be part of it’s portfolio with current legislation), and would rather be more like a financial entity than a self-made bank. Some of these things are in development, although in my opinion, the chances of them becoming a real thing are pretty slim, and likely the conservation of one’s economical portfolio will conflict with their political aspirations, let alone legislation.

Com : First forum using Epochtalk).
