we have some photos wich can be accessed on requests see above
Why not post the photos for everyone to see? How do you get sample ASIC chips when tapeout/wafers ain't even done yet?
I assume they were done in a MPW. May I suggest that you include a provision to refund all investors if the funding goal is not met by some date (say March 16 2014, 3 months from now)?

Guys, I don't have any money in BF, I'm just an observer. But I think this needs to be your last straw- I would quit letting Danny make excuses and demand the full explanation.
He clearly can't keep promises, so I wouldn't trust him. Ukyo is either a scammer or a liar who can't keep BTC entrusted to him safe. Either way, he has lost all respect from me and I don't see why anyone should still be sticking up for him.
Start filing your lawsuits against Ukyo or whatever your contingency plan is.
I demanded a full explanation from the start. Ukyo definitely lied. First he lied saying that the issue was a technical problem with the wallet, and then he lied again telling us on IRC that the funds were all safe. I agree that a lawsuit is the best way forward. The discovery process should bring out some answers at least.

Yep again I'm jumping to conclusions without reading everything. Thanks for clearing it up, I'm kinda embarrassed after that one.
No problem it happens... They do hash to some point. I can tell you that if I don't count one with only 60% of engines working they all go over 35GH. One is over 41. Just not long... It has all engines working... So yes board is realy good one. Just need to figure out what is the reason it resets... So the strongest board is the one that resets? I imagine there's a correlation. Like the board is running so hard it overwhelms some supporting piece. I know the Avalon boards had an issue with voltage drop due to the PCB copper being too thin. I wonder if something similar is happening here.

Go knc go But why not have installed extra ports at November Jupiter board??? How will do the upgraded
Jupiters are not designed to be upgraded, where do you put the boards inside a Jupiter? Upgrades are designed for Saturn/Mercury. Who cares if the case wasn't designed for it. 6 boards work just fine on the Oct Jup's. People who had their 5th & 6th ports removed from their non-day1, 2, 3 Jups got screwed over. I suspect the controller boards could've handled 6 Nov boards just fine if given the chance. My controller board didn't come with the extra 2 connectors. I soldered my own in and they work fine. I didn't like having my boards 5 & 6 hanging out the sides like that with the lid off, so I stuck mine in some mini-itx cases: I wish I could have put external disconnects on the data cables.

by far knc is the best company
The only other company that has shipped is bfl, so it's only really fair at this point to say "knc are better than bfl". I think in the new year, when 2 or 3 more asic companies ship, we'll see a whole new picture emerge. Wat? Did you somehow overlook BitFountain, BitSyncom, BitFury, and BitMain?

Alibaba?
Are you serious?
has anyone ever bought anything Bitcoin related on Alibaba and actually received it?
Its a den of thieves!!!
Not bitcoin related, but I've bought a number of other items on alibaba and aliexpress. Usually the item is delivered with no problem. If the couple cases where there was a problem I got a full refund.

Aw, come on. Can't they put a couple 6-pin pcie power sockets in place of the terminals?
Im split on the issue. most MOBOs that are ideal (cheap 600w, preferably modular) only have 2 pci connectors, usually running on the same 6 wires. this isnt enough for the sytem, meaning you still need either a higher-priced PSU or to chop up the ATX cable. simplicity = cost I wouldn't mind seeing both types of connectors offered in the next revision. It looks like there is plenty of room on the PCB.

Might sound like a really daft question, but when I RMA a board, do i include the full board with the heat stink attached, or separate it and send?
Just the board and nothing else Thanks, so i take the heat sink off the top and just mail the board? Any tips for what to package it in so it is secure? Bubble wrap it and then place it inside a bubble wrap envelope But before you do that, put the board inside an ESD-safe bag. I'd still use a small box rather than an envelope, personally, with bubble-wrap inside the box.

You might also look at the BitMain's AntMiner S1 product. It's a 55nm 180GH/s miner for 4.25 BTC, and they're available right now rather than sometime in the future.
I just received one yesterday and I'm pretty happy with it so far.
