My feeling is we've got to test 4100 for confirmation before another move can be made. If that does not hold which I suspect it should, 3800-3700 could be the next stop.  I'll fill my boots with cheap coins so either way I'm happy.

BCH continues to sink lower. Currently .086 or $366 and likely to go lower with that trend. Probably bounce nicely approaching ETH @ .069 before a further move.

Because events like this unfold, I protest the root of it by supporting something better. BTC
To me it feels like the only solid recourse I have to fight with outside of speaking to others what I see.
Bitcoin is more deadly than guns for the 1% and if we succeed, it will be because enough see it the same way.

Look at you grasping to make a bitcoin connection.... Cheesy  hahahahahaha  Roll Eyes    Tongue

Not really,  I honestly believe bitcoin can be/ is a powerful weapon. I think its very existence is directly related to the moves deep state makes and has made towards totalitarianism.

Something I find most amusing is the process whereby a given hypothesis goes from being patently absurd to irrelevant truth overnight.

One day the theory is so ludicrous that anyone espousing it is clearly insane, then the revelation comes out and suddenly the truth of what yesterday was proof of lunacy is suddenly old news, or just no big deal.

I have had many opportunities to be amused by this.

Like 9/11 and every mass shooting in the US since Colombine?  Deep state observer!  Are we in the final throes of capitalism and democracy yet?

So the hard fork for bitcoin gold "BTG" will happen on 25th of October and the split will be available on Nov.1st.
Looks like BTC will be the only coin credited.  But really, are the devs that locked in oppositions that every new feature or change needs a hard fork?
I think BTC is on its way up past 5k real soon in anticipation of another air drop.

BCH .095 and still falling.  So is that it, China just going to let it die?  Would be telling if it falls below eth.

Wondering if some of you might share links to some of the better bitcoin-crypto-blockchain introductions/education for those who are interested in it for the first time.
I find myself in a growing number of conversations about bitcoin and although I've gotten better at expressing my views and beliefs with it, the impact doesn't roll off the tongue as well as public speakers and professional writers are able to target.

I'd like to have a small arsenal of videos/articles, etc. which I could fire out to those interested for the first time. Perhaps you have such collection?

Seems like the general public actually is starting to at least listen now and enter debate regardless of their usually misconceived ideas of what is taking place.

Just saw this from Andreas https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyK4P7ZdOK8

He describes how money serves as a system of control as a primary function.

I'll admit he makes a great case for BTC but by the end of it I couldn't help fearing that he sounded a bit cultish although correct.
Makes me want an anon atm machine across the street from me.  Wink

Andreas only sounds that way at times because he's trying so hard to unplug people from the Matrix. But they don't want to unplug, don't want to take the red pill.

If you haven't seen it yet, check out this oldie but goodie from Stefan Molyneux on 'Bitcoin vs. Political Power'.

Fantastic! Just saw it and I'm sure I'll be sharing this.  Thanks mate!

What a recovery, did not expect this. Any reason behind it? Been out of the loop for a few days

Standard Bitcoin behavior. Nothing unusual.

Hope everyone stocked up when the price was down.
Yeppers! Actually bought twice this morning before each leg up.  Cool

BCH was released on Stamp today also as I suspected and posted about before, entering 4k was likely only with strong confirmation.

If we have another fork that even rhymes a little to this one, I can only see bitcoin getting stronger as people buy more in anticipation of the air drop.

I have to admit. My first thoughts when I saw that Bitstamp released it was to dump for bitcoin at current price levels. Transactions may take 48 hours so I'll probably have a think on it.

Hot Damn! BCH now available for withdraw at Bitstamp!

As expected, it seems we move carefully through the 3k range and likely more carefully through 4k. Great news is that there's at least some groundwork support through the 3k range we previously didn't get much of and prices have held very well all the way through so far despite some attempts to dump. I'm expecting strong confirmations before entering 4k based on recent sentiment of the market.

What kind of purchase would it take to drive up the market $150 in such a short go.
Now that China is on the sidelines, would price manipulation become easier?   Or maybe China just found a backdoor.... Nah, I think its  market makers at their finest.

Seems legit.

don't pay exchange fees when you travel to another country, etc.

Have you been able to exchange BTC to local currencies in SE Asia? If so, please share.  I'd be particularly interested in Thailand and Vietnam. Localbitcoin.com is not what I'm looking for but rather the ability to exchange with a gold shop/money changer type scenario.  When this happens bitcoin will be super useful to me.

So I mentioned the other day that Morgan Freeman is an excellent person, and I'm not quite ready to take that back yet. But. Well...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ld0VA7Zzfz4
Wow, can't even trust good ol' Morgan Freeman anymore. His eyes says he doesn't believe what he's saying IMHO.

I cancelled my Trezor order when the hack was exposed to relinquish private keys and balances.  Mostly because I travel a lot and I intend to carry a unit with me. If airport TSA or customs can access keys on the device, I no longer see the use in it.   May prove to be true with other devices later but I ordered the Ledger nano s.  Ships in October, ordered in early August = Bullish!

 Stop spreading FUD.

Sorry you had to read through my.... FUD. I'ts my FUD and I do with it what I deem relevant.  Thanks for the update on the Trezor. From what I had read and watched, it looked like a physical hack/backdoor dump. I didn't know the software patch solved the issue. I might still consider it a relevant concern for someone traveling often.

BTFD mode aKtiv8ed!

Yeah, I'm smelling a pretty weak attempt at a dump so far. I guess we'll see.

Incidentally The Club did their usual drive by on Gold and Silver today. Managed to get Gold sub 1300, but by the looks of it I don't think it will last long.

There seems to be a longer game at play here. Somethings brewing within the next 6-10 months.

Always brewin' somethin they are but plans have to change when we stand against their moves in increasing numbers.
