Can't say I'm surprised by this dip. I suspected it wouldn't be another straight shot climb like the last one.  I'll be buying all the way down if we get below 4200.  5k and beyond soon enough. In fact, I'm more relieved if the price stays lower for awhile allowing better load ups.

Well I was prepared to attend the icygreen show just to get my 10% but I didn't see a reply to my post inquiring about it.
What are you a Bitcoin Busker?

I had considered sharing details of my show/identity but when I interpreted your remarks as belittling,  "The Icygreen show" and "bitcoin Busker" I decided anonymity on this forum was in my best interests.

Sorry, Bitcoin Street Performer it is.

I started to think perhaps it was the money that turned you into a douche but I see from your early posts slagging others isn't a new thing. Congratulations on becoming the first on my ignore list.

I've just finished my 3 week show with the "Bitcoin Accepted Here + 10% discount" sign. No transactions unfortunately. Only met 2 other holders and they weren't using it as a payment method but rather trading a portion and holding another. I learned that the majority of the population has heard of bitcoin somehow but have no idea what it is or where to start and probably don't care enough or have the time to research it.
About 1 percent were curious or knew someone with bitcoin and several people took photos of the sign for their teenage sons.

My neighbor became curious about BTC and eventually downloaded a wallet. I agreed to buy some small amount for her but it never happened and I didn't want to push it but rather I gave her some sources to start learning from.
I believe bitcoin is still in the very early adopters stage and I don't see bitcoin becoming a popular method of payment anytime soon and perhaps that will be the last thing it becomes.  On the other hand, credit card "Tap" transactions are becoming wildly popular.

It was great to have so many ATH's during the show backing up my argument and a sweet Labor day discount.

Looks like the train is pulling away again and my recent buys are looking good at bitstamp $4550

Well, good morning bitcoin! A fresh ATH at 4600 is a great start for a Tuesday morning. Somehow I think 5k will be a bigger fight. Popcorn for breakfast.

I don't see 5k doing anything. Most of the 5k'ers probably sold at 4.5 already.
I thank the seasoned hodlers for encouraging the same. Although that sell finger felt kinda itchy for a few moments last night.

Just had my bank call me asking for more information about some wire transfers to bitstamp over 3 months ago. It appears western union contacted the bank to make more inquiries.  Western union starting to get nervous or the pressure is tightening...... BULLISH

It's day 5 at my show and I've had the "BTCitcoin accepted here + 10%discount" sign posted but no transactions yet.  Surprisingly not as many inquiries as I had thought or holders. Still in very early adoption apparently and too complicated for most although probably magnitudes easier to understand than fiat value.
Goal is 1 transaction before the show end. 10 more days.

Do you think bitstamp will release the BCH? I know they've said testing and such. Any other news?
1375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 17, 2017, 04:44:18 AM
Damn, I just ordered a Trezor. Lucky they haven't shipped. I think I'll change my order for a ledger if this is true.

So...was that a double top?

Will the weekend get here soon enough to send us up to new levels?

Nah, not yet, I think its got legs but just weeding out a few more.

We are talking about a whole new payment system/platform and a store of value that is by far superior to any existing financial system and store of wealth (gold sucks FYI).
If I have a gold or silver coin sitting on the table, I do not have to pay extortion fees to some miner just to be able to spend it.

But you'll need to transport that gold or silver coin to the person accepting it. Ask a millennial if they think value should be stored digitally online or in a physical coin

Ask a "millenial"? HAHAHAHAHAHA

Yes, let me consult some reverse evolution millenial children with mental disorders that check their iphone over 200 times per day on important financial matters.  No, we do not live in a "digital world" you millenial cucks.

Do whatever you believe in I guess. Not sure what you'd have to gain on this forum. I'd enjoy reading your posts on a PM forum. Username and site?  Otherwise you're still either paid or just a cuckold stuck in the past.. No offence.

But you'll need to transport that gold or silver coin to the person accepting it. How much does that cost? You gonna use the post office or perhaps try to conceal it through an airport? Lets say you get that person in front of you with your coin. You gonna hack it up to make change or are you cashing out for fiat in a lump sum?  Really Roach, we are already in a digital age and currency is going digital also. Ask a millennial if they think value should be stored digitally online or in a physical coin, metal, paper bill, etc. You're either stuck in your long held belief system or paid to spread FUD as crypto grows.

The Spitznagel article was also published on Zerohedge. Ludwig Von Mises has turned around in his grave... .

Same for moissanite vs. diamond. Even though moissanite can be created in a lab and has superior spectacular brilliance/clarity vs. most diamond, there are still those who value diamond more and will likely always do so and pay more for it.

Moissanite, when it was first created, was sold as real diamonds for awhile before people were wise enough to figure it out. When the truth was discovered, those selling it as real diamond skipped town and lost all credibility in the gemstone community although Moissanite did earn its rightful place eventually.   Hopefully we won't need to visit that scenario with the forks.

The wall is looking super bullish again, a couple legs up and we will have another cup and handle.
