still i don’t get it (the whole getting to marry stuff )

Marriage is a fitness thing.  And not the picking up and putting down heavy objects type.

Quote
A major survey of 127,545 American adults found that married men are healthier than men who were never married or whose marriages ended in divorce or widowhood. Men who have marital partners also live longer than men without spouses; men who marry after age 25 get more protection than those who tie the knot at a younger age, and the longer a man stays married, the greater his survival advantage over his unmarried peers.

10th marriage anniversary today. my wife & our kids are the best things ever happened to me. even better than bitcoin & WO thread. slightly  Cheesy.

Congrats, you're a made man! Not much else one could ask for and I'm sure there's a lot more to your story.

$10,000 is my number, and I'm stickin' to it.

Oh, well, I don't think that he has ever made any good prediction. For example: In January 2018, he told CNBC, "Value of all crypto-coins continue to increase this year", when Ethereum was actually above $1000 and CRipple was above a couple of bucks.

That face of Arthur is slowly starting to look... innocent to me.

So cute!

Happy Holi (Festival of colors) to you all. I wish for big green candles and peace for all.

I was in jaipur with my girl one year for this festival.  It was fun to begin with and then we found ourselves running away from mobs chasing the white tourists. I had colored powder coming out of my ears and nose for days.
824  Economy / Speculation / Re: *Q2-BTC-PRCE PREDICTION-GAME* Q2 LIST GAME on: March 20, 2019, 09:08:38 PM
$4256
I'll go with flatish and boring until Q4 2019 where the halving speculation starts to move price a bit.
Thanks again for the game!

What are you tards even talking about?  I've sold shitcoins at $800, $3000, $10,000, and $19,000.  Good job reading an Anonymint hissyfit rage post where he just makes up some random shit then you believe that's the truth.

You are not making any fucking sense. Do you have dementia?

What you are saying now is completely incoherent with your post history. Go read it.

He's just blown his cover and shows us that he's been buying all along.  But we knew that anyway.

CRYPTO CONNECTION

The gunman appears to have published a 74-page manifesto for the attack that is making the rounds online and in which he rambled off inspirations, political and otherwise, leading up to this awful day. After revealing that video game Fortnite taught him how to be a killer, the gunman disclosed that he has dabbled in cryptocurrency, writing:

“I worked for a short time before making some money investing in BitConnect, then used the money from the investment to travel.”

He reportedly used the profits to travel overseas across Europe, Southeast Asia, and Asia, which may be where he became radicalized, according to the manager of the gym where the gunman worked.

I am convinced this is a false flag. Too much weird shit that doesn't add up otherwise.
Same.  Pity that the masses don't see the agenda. There's still loads who believe terrorists took control of 3, 747's with box cutters and performed impossible maneuvers.   Roll Eyes

So, predictions. If I am correct that all the social ills and psychological and behavioral problems of our time is primarily caused by overpopulation and life being too easy for generations at a time, then there are only a very small number of possible future outcomes.

The first one that a lot of people will probably jump to is that we simply wait for the boomers to die and then everything will be fine after that. Not going to happen. Things always change, and always towards the left over time.

Other than that, the only option is a violent reduction in numbers. War, pestilence or famine. Given the current understanding of the amygdala, war is most likely to come in the form of a soviet-style collapse. The states will continue to become ever more tyrannical until we have an economic collapse, which will result in lowered food production and a lot of dead people.

So if soviet conditions are the most likely near-future outcome, what to do about it?

Flee. Simple as that. If you stay, odds are you will be locked up or have all your property stolen or simply end up shot. Let the disease burn itself out, and when the rebuilding begins in 10-30 years it might be time to come back if you feel like it by then. But staying through it is simply too dangerous and there is no reward.

On a side note, I have gained a new appreciation for the importance and role of religion during these studies. Maybe a topic for another time.
While I might agree that reduction of populations could be one solution, I'm not convinced it needs to be war, famine and disease that does it. What if the other option included wealth and education redistribution which ultimately resulted in the same. (John Calhoun's rat experiment) A voluntary or subconscious participation in depopulation could leave our hard fought infrastructure intact where war likely would not.
The constant threat of war plays an important role in our eventual decision to choose another option but failing this, war is ready.

Don't lose your time. What he is saying not only is completely false, but I corrected him a few months ago. And now he repeats it again. The guy has no memory... never try to discuss anything with someone with poor memory or you will end very frustrated.

You are a complete fucking liar.  Bob posted NUMEROUS times about how he was making "A MILLION" or "MILLIONS" in fiat dollars from bitcoin.  Do you think he acquired those fiat dollars WITHOUT selling the coins?  The point at which he made that fiat was very near the top and it's a fact he was telling everyone else to "HODL" while he was selling them.  It was all bullish propaganda and "hodl" spam while he was dumping.  I'm sure Bob is not the only one guilty of that in this thread, but he was the main one I remember.

I think only r0ach remembers it as such.  I remember Bob saying "I have no idea what is happening" as it surged into 10k.  Then I remember him saying "I'm gonna sell 1mil worth at 10K"    We went to 20k and Bob didn't sell.  He mentioned selling 1 mil value again above 12k and I along with others reminded him of his goal at 10k. He agreed and sold approx. 60 coins at 12k then again some coins for tax purposes before dropping below 10k.  I heard no such HODL statements during the climb or decent outside of DYOR statements.
You're memory is skewed and selective in my opinion.  Bob did make a bullish promise of drinks to all WO's if the price fell below 8K.  That happened and he paid up in gentleman form. I assume you never took yours or will?
Anyhow, you claim Bob to be a paid shill of sorts while many of us are thinking the same of you.  Fuck me, any more eye rolling and I'm gonna get dizzy. Get a grip dude.

Selamat Hari Raya Nyepi! Today is Balinese day of silence (Nyepi) and mark of the new year according to the Hindu calendar with the new moon in March.
Basically nobody is allowed to go outside today. No cars or motorbikes, airport shutdown, no ambulances, no bright lights, loud noises or fires allowed and for the serious, meditation all day.
Essentially they believe that on this day a renewal of spirit happens and the old negative spirits (demons) will not leave if they see anyone to cling to.

I'm not quite as fanatic so I'll be quietly celebrating with beers at the pool and a BBQ. I will however release the spirit of the Bitcoin bear that it may go back into slumber for another time while we welcome in the new baby bull of 2019.

Haha, When Jihan said this it was the moment I knew for sure that b-cash was a scam/distraction/dead coin/not the flippening, etc. Then Roger would reconfirm every time he opened his mouth.

Well, that makes little sense. Jihan's outburst predated the bitcoin fork by over a year.

2016 May: https://twitter.com/JihanWu/status/731902686379933697

2017 Aug: Fork

Well, I guess I was a bit late getting the tweet. Still served its purpose I suppose.
I wasn't following btc closely in 2016, I started to get keen as it got close to 1k again Around March 2017.  My humble apologies, sorry, not sorry.

They are breaking up, right?

So they want to break up and stay friends?

I thought that the break up was a bit more hostile.. I suppose it is still in development and all the details are not really known, either.

I don't know why, but this photo reminds me of a couple of small white hamsters I had as a child. Dirty little things...

Good man

Bitstamp accepts credit cards and USD deposits

Thanks!  I'll look into signing up once I'm finished night shifts.  There is too much room for error when I'm sleep deprived.

Don't expect to use any cards from CIBC, Scotia, TD, or BMO.
833  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 02, 2019, 01:36:28 AM
I have deleted my Coinbase account.

#deletecoinbase

Dammit!  I just signed up for Coinbase after my Quadrigacx boondoggle... I haven't given any personally identifying info yet.  I'll cancel my account asap.
It might be better for my fragile ego if I just resign myself to the status of ever-hodler.  That's it.  I'm never selling!  They'll have to pry my bitcoin from my cold dead wallet... or dead cold wallet?  Whatever!  Doesn't matter because I'll be dead.

 Edit: account closed

Anyway, most Canadian credit cards/banks do not support crypto purchases and will not work on coinbase. Blocked about 1 year ago.

Been trying to recover my 2fa so I can log in and delete the account.

Looks good Elwar, always nice to see a face of someone I feel like I (sorta) know.

Thanks. Second video coming out Monday.

Thanks mate, This is really awesome!  I also appreciated seeing you're identity isn't shrouded in secrecy like the majority of us. Hmmm... Rethinking.

enjoy my avatar, fuckers. Grin

i had avatars disabled too as i hated the animated ones. i like static pages, moving stuff is distracting. but now i just have animated gifs set to not play in firefox and leave the avatars on so they display as static images only.. mainly so i dont miss the hats Grin

You know I am working on modifying my hat so its a bit animated.... Better enable avatars when I am done!

There's no point animating your hat, theymos just blocked all new animated avatars.

Animated avatars aren't supposed to be allowed, but I never got around to adding detection for the APNG ones. I'll look into it.

OK, APNGs are now detected. Old ones are grandfathered for now, in part because people have ongoing campaigns, but in the future I might (or might not) go through and remove them.

Whaaaaa... Theymos takes away our toys again Cry     Don't remember why we can't have nice things :' (
Cool eyeball hat Grandfather achievement unlocked!

So here we are, hovering just below $4000 without the slightest sign of FOMO. Everybody just watching without not fucking idea if it is gonna go up or down next, or what it is going to do after that.

So many possible scenarios... What will it be? Bleh, just let it be.

HODL.

Bitcoin is the equivalent of dating a stripper...first she teases and seduces you...and you wonder...is it all just an act? or does she mean it this time

or poof! is it all a dream? The drama is the same for the BTC mood swing equivalent it seems.

edit:

The price on my Bitcoin ticker as I type this went from to $4,000 USD just now...er crap...just went to $4,028 and now back to $3,981...wtf?

What was that a $4k 3 second breach? bummer...ack! $3,974 someone is dumping it seems.

I think Bitcoin is more like the perfect woman who has done nothing but make you more wealthy but instead of appreciating her you spend years posting mostly fear posts, complaints, bummer posts, etc, and eventually she leaves you(causes you to panic dump her) to make a man with stronger hands wealthy.  Roll Eyes

Why not make negative posts about fiat every week and how it has done nothing for you your whole life but lose purchasing power?

Gratitude determines your latitude.  Wink

I don't need a woman cause bitcoin goes down on me and fucks me regularly.

I'm done spreading fud, I don't want to ruffle anymore feathers.  I still think bitcoin is overhyped but I suppose the market has declared it has a value which is basically a store of digital gold at this point.

I picked the right post to resurrect you from my ignore list it seems.  Now don't fuck it up!

Hal Finney - January 3rd 2009

The Silk Road: Dread Pirate Roberts - 2011

Keep watching and enjoy. Good video

This video is total shit! Guy is still claiming BTC costs $40+ to make a single transaction plus 2-3 days.  At the end of the video it becomes clear that its a ripple shill, motioning that Satoshi left bitcoin to work on ripple and his real identity is David Schwartz.  Watch for laughs only and keep your eye on this Pamoldar character  Angry
