161  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signature Campaigns on: July 21, 2023, 02:03:58 PM
That is a clear indication that the op is here for signature campaign and nothing more. Now that the op has asked the question about the signature campaign, was he planning to join signature campaign now and not here for learning first? If the op is here for learning the signature Campaign that is looking for will come to him without stress but whereby your aim is to get merits and join campaign, Op, I don't don't think you can scale through unless you removed your mind from campaign and focus on the learning the things the forum meant for. Signature Campaign links are direct access to the main website of the casino of others.
Although that's kinda what looks like in here, OP seems to be open on how can s/he get clients. Just like what I previously mentioned here in the thread, it would be best for OP to pursue freelancing career specializing in writing assuming that's what really OP wants as I am having a little bit of a hard time to understand what OP really wants.

There are way plenty of users already offering their signature space for rent and considering that there are even reputated ones, it might be really hard to get started.

Naturally I get weird when a beginner or members began to put interest in signature campaign, most times I would began to wonder if actually they knew the real purpose of being here or is just for the signature aspect? There are lots of people who are here that is contributing one way or the other without even asking or channeling their focused towards the signature campaign and yet they had the required merits to join but had refused. It's very common nowadays with newbies and some other unserious users.
Many but not all of them. I do not have the data, but from what I observed, most of them came from third world country just like mine considering that the conversion rate of USD is quite high.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can I save my brother by investing in btc now? on: July 21, 2023, 01:44:32 PM
you have a capital of $ 3000 and the medical expenses of your sick brother are $ 75000 in my opinion it is difficult if you invest btc with a capital of $ 3000 to get big profits until your money becomes $ 75000 in the near future unless you invest in the long term then your money in the future will potentially be $ 75,000 but of course you have to invest for a very long time, while your sick brother certainly needs help as soon as possible, so I think you should look for a business with the capital you hold and don't invest in btc first because investing in btc won't make you rich overnight with capital of $ 3000 unless there is a miracle.

but the decision is yours and I wish your brother a speedy recovery.
As much as that's really a "fair amount" of money it is for the OP, I wouldn't think of BTC for now when it comes to finding ways to grow that capital up. We all know that BTC is for the long-term and OP's sick brother needs an urgent assistance.

It's not difficult, it's impossible. I feel sorry for the OP's brother.

@OP, Loaning would be the best possible way for you in this situation. Sorry to say, but Bitcoin is not just going to cut it in your situation.
163  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin or other assets? on: July 20, 2023, 05:33:28 AM
~
Here in my country, instead of just blandly buying a house, people tend to keep it as an asset and let the value of it appreciate overtime. Some even do let other people just rent out their house so that it would be somehow a passive income for them. Not sure if it is really an easy way to get rich from your investment, but it's one of the common passive incomes in here, and I am pretty sure it is being done also in other countries.

Luxury watches at the top end of the market can be considered as an alternative form of investment. While I don't possess extensive knowledge about watches, my understanding from available information suggests that reselling them can yield a substantial profit.
The thing about assets such as a watch requires that you have the knowledge to know what is a fake or not like you have pointed out, what makes these watches valuable and most importantly you need the patience to resell them as buyers for these aren't readily available and this kind of business isn't for the faint hearted!
Yeah and it is kinda scary that some aren't really pure gold or silver and they would even tarnish in just couple of weeks.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't expect everyone to embrace Bitcoin on: July 20, 2023, 05:28:19 AM
Bitcoiners have the opportunity to stand for something and that's eliminating the need for central authorities such as the government and banks and rather than forcing everyone to confirm to their beliefs, it's better to find an audience worth serving. What's your take, guys?
Been there before and end up just being backstabbed by my old friends. I believe I had shared the same story around Trading Discussion board before. It's really not for everyone.

Oh family members, don't even get me started in handling responsibility for them when you tell them about the advantage of Bitcoin as an investment and as a currency. You would be held responsible when they encounter losses.

It indeed creates opportunity. It's just like an open door for everyone.
165  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is making a mess of my savings. on: July 19, 2023, 07:45:29 AM
Inflation is a posion slowly killing society. Its worse than anything possible because wages gradually decrease, saving gradually decrease, companies start to not invest at all because inflation messes their supply chains as well, economy getting smaller bites workers back so some of them become unemployed etc. First ever thing to do, when someone enters investment league is to combat inflation and find options that will protect/secure your investments again inflation. If inflation is %5 your savings should be getting at least %5 in return etc. Hard task for average people.
This is one of the reasons that the people here in my country tend to just job hop in foreign countries to find a better-paying opportunities and it is just the reality of how it is going in here. What's cheaper in US might be expensive here in my country so the people here are perfectly fine on the minimum wage in 1st world countries.

Some people just do settle for less since they do not have the choice at all. It's better than being homeless at all anyway.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beginners, you don't need Bitcoin first on: July 18, 2023, 03:05:06 PM
Anyone who’s irresponsible enough to borrow amounts of money that could negatively impact their life if they can’t pay debt anymore is gonna cause big time wreckage to their financial and personal life. It’s just a ticking bomb tbh.

Even a job won’t be enough. If you borrow money and lose your job, what do you do? Borrowing is risky business, it’s always been like that. Responsibility isn’t a joke, you need to calculate risks and possible outcome. Is it worth risking to live a shitty life just for a couple grand of non-guaranteed profit? If you take the risk and fail, live with it lol.. you agreed by investing in the first place.
This was what I was telling a lot of people that they shouldn't loan if they are less likely to pay it off within a certain timeframe given. Even if you earn something from your investment anyway, it might end up just being something you will need to pay for the borrowed amount.

Usually people just loan when they're building a business since it has better chances of earning profit within your control. If we're going to invest into crypto, just make sure that all those investments we made are definitely just fine to be a loss, not like it is worthless but something that wouldn't make you homeless tomorrow. Cheesy
167  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signature Campaigns on: July 18, 2023, 02:17:34 PM
Indeed there are companies that sponsor the campaigns and their major section for seeking for advertisers is on the service section. So, you can open a thread there and share the details of your website; monthly visitors, niche and audience. If a company finds it suitable for their products they can hit you up.
Correct me if I am wrong OP, but you are looking for clients that will offer you to write them a "blog post" or are you looking for someone to write a "blog post" for you? I know you mentioned Fiverr, but you could also give Upwork a shot.

I am not a blog writer, but I can see plenty of clients looking for someone to write stuffs for them there though competition is quite fierce at that site, but it's hella worth it in the end when you land your first ones. Connects currency there are kinda pain in the ass though since that's what you will use in order to reach out to certain clients.

If you're going to be a client, it should be pretty straightforward to post a job there. The nearest service-related stuff you can find in here is in Services section just like what Accardo mentioned to you.
168  Economy / Economics / Re: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? on: July 18, 2023, 10:32:21 AM
The people in these stories followed their passion and created wealth through it. What is your opinion on following one's passion in relation to wealth? Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? If yes, what is stopping you from following it?
This is kinda mixed and it depends per individual, OP. I haven't heard who Sean Audet, but good for him being able to launch a photography sideline. Whatever passion he has in photography is still surely burning. Some people just tend to burn out in their passions and they chase different interests whenever they do.

Think of it this way, doing passion in your free time as hobby is entirely different from doing your passion with a set of deadline and demand. Somehow I haven't felt that burn out from writing codes even if it is frustrating to solve problem sometimes. Some people in my field do stop whenever they felt their passion burning out.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Not Nerdy Enough on: July 18, 2023, 10:25:56 AM
I don't think you, OP, are good at all the new, useful technologies. I can even say that you do not even know about many. So why are you asking people to know about Bitcoin? Do not put pressure on people; everything has its time and its own people. People have different interests; it is impossible for everyone to be the same. Personally, for example, my relatives are not at all interested in Bitcoin, and I see no reason to waste my time on them.
Aside from what I mentioned in this thread before, yeah I felt also that it is kinda putting pressure into people to learn this and that. Not everyone is interested to the technical aspect of Bitcoin, not all of people care about the software itself rather than its own utility only.

I am enthusiastic about development of software and apps, but I understand that it is not everyone's cup of tea.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My story about bitcoin and my old friend. on: July 17, 2023, 02:14:45 PM
This is an inspirational story. It only proves that bitcoin can never be underestimated just because of the false accusations spread online and offline. However, I’m happy that your friend also has decided to see the potentials of bitcoin and eventually decide to invest in it. But make sure that you don’t hold reliability of his own actions. Educate him first and expose him to the different losses in bitcoin investment, then ask him after if he still want to invest or would change his decision right after.
Some just wanted to pass that kind of curse to someone else and people just can't help but blame others for their own mistake since they just do not want to feel guilty over them screwing up. Good thing I had never shared too much information to my colleagues about Bitcoin and I am not willing to just be the leader to teach them since some of them are kinda pain in the ass to teach.

actually many of us has this feeling from the past when we are being told or advised to try investing in crypto (or Bitcoin specifically) but we denied not untill 2017 or 2021 comes that crypto proves its purpose?
because I must admit that I am once felt like this specially in 2017 when i spend all my crypto in gambling and cash out not believing it will increase more than hundreds if not thousand % from the recent growth.
Well I am kinda that 2017-guy in crypto.  Back around teenager days, I thought Bitcoin was just like an illegal currency used by some people around dark web. Turns out it has plenty of widespread use than just it being a "currency".
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Not Nerdy Enough on: July 17, 2023, 01:51:45 PM
It's not only about crypto currencies, when it comes to financial assets in general I find that many people have very little understanding of them. Even when they have large sums of money invested in assets, they don't know much about them and don't care to learn more about it. Stocks are a great example among my friends where they are clueless about the companies they are buying. A good friend of mine actively buys stocks for a few years only on recommendations he reads online. He is not doing any research for himself, as long as someone recommends it too him, he is willing to invest. It's definitely a lack of understand economics & finance, but he isn't even motivated to learn about. If people work in jobs that have nothing to do with money, like doctors, it's hard to make them interested in new topics. Only a small fraction of people are economist or interest in the topics.
Really true to be honest and even I still keeps learning about financial assets by myself. It is just really a lot to learn to it and somehow not everyone just doesn't have the time to learn all of it. I don't blame my school and even my university for not teaching it.

It's just to each and their own anyway. Stocks are slightly a different topic though since it is usually used as an investment rather than a currency. Bitcoin, or crypto, is really a wide stuff to learn. It's just like learning SOLID principles in programming. Not everyone just applies it.
172  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I Use Emergency funds or Sell my Assets ? on: July 16, 2023, 03:01:17 PM
Isn't this situation the reason you have emergency funds? If you think you can get trough this hard period, you should use that fund rather than selling assets because that's the last thing you should do. Only start selling assets if it becomes the only exit for that problem. I also recommend storing your fiat into some stable currency, rather than your own. For an example, I store my cash in Euros(luckily, I can use it besides my local currency), since it is much safer than my local currency, which is already starting to be in inflation as well.

Even though inflation can be a really big problem, I hope you will get trough this situation without having to sell your assets.
I guess it's just different for everyone. We still don't have any proper budgeting breakdown from the OP just like I mentioned previously in this thread. Some people tend to use their emergency funds when they appear to be helpless ,like being brought to hospital which I hope does not happen to anybody, since you can't afford to make more money nor make moves to get one.

Emergency funds isn't entirely when things just go south so suddenly. It is kinda different on how everyone calls it an "urgent" situation.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste on: July 16, 2023, 02:55:56 PM
~
I think what you quoted has somehow a different case scenario where johnsaributua doesn't have an access to such paid stuffs like SCs. If one hasn't been working for company for almost 3 years, and that person solely relied on airdrops then it might be worrysome to have your life in that way since airdrops isn't really a reliable source of income considering that some of them are just shittokens and might not cut the cost that one can incur over the month.

I would understand if the one you quoted is still a student. :/

It's also worth noting that having 3 year gap in work experience might come out as questionable.
174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to grow the bitcoin you have? on: July 15, 2023, 07:51:22 PM
How to grow the bitcoin you have without being involved in gambling or putting it in a custody wallet for APY. Is there any proven low risk method.
It's just simple, OP.
Low-risk method? Just buy the usual amount you're hodling then put it to your favorite wallet and forget about it in a year or two. That's at least what I usually do when O hodl. Sure I encountered some losses, but not that something to be worried at since I am a long-term hodler anyway.

We might not experience the same results, but you would be fine for sure. Smiley

You just said the fact, am sure lots of people will start sending personal messages to the OP just to assist him by growing his bitcoin, but the OP should just be careful because he is going to be scammed, the might send so links to the OP to ask him to send his bitcoin to the website, or they might send him some wallet to send his bitcoin their so that they can help him grow it. Am just making assumption but their are other methods which can be used to scam so what I will recommend to the Op is just to ignore any message he received, anybody trying to make suggestion will do that on this thread and nobody will send him personal message.
Yeah, but surely OP would be vigilant against these types of stuffs. Just maybe a bit cautious to whoever sends ya a message. No one in here would definitely reach out privately to teach you how to be rich. Cheesy
175  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin or other assets? on: July 15, 2023, 02:43:07 PM
Only certain people can have it as a collection that they consider as a hobby but also make money if in the next few years.
Will the brand names of luxury watches with million dollar prices drop by 90%? I don't think so, the company will maintain the value of expensive watches, I haven't seen luxury watches drop drastically unless they are counterfeits.

Actually we don't know how the schemes develop in their watch business if they are already experts and professionals in this field of course some will choose as luxury watch collectors.
Since we only know about bitcoin investment, we will fully believe in this asset while others will be considered less profitable.
Got a coworker of mine that tends to invest in these luxury stuffs, not just watches but also those expensive necklaces that you can buy online. I can't see the appeal yet to invest to those expensive necklaces, but I understand that its price can still appreciate over time.

I would rather invest it into crypto for now. Fear of ending up in a rust is a factor for me even though legitimate ones don't rust at all. Considering that one of my hobbies is PC building, I rather do that rather than be forced in doing another hobby that I do not fancy.

How about I diversify?
Luxurious wristwatches can be assets too. Most of them are gold and buying them is like investing in gold. Most celebrities buy a lot of gold necklaces, rings, writs watches. These are investment too but most people do not know.

So if you can afford an original gold wristwatch then you will most likely have enough to invest in Bitcoin and other assets.
It's not wise to invest only on one assets, so if you have the money diversify into other assets like too like real estate, stock and so on.
They are indeed investment, but not many of us have the privilege to buy those. Some just do not get the appeal in buying those.
176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take advantage of the price fall. on: July 15, 2023, 02:39:07 PM
Ups and down is normal nature for cryptocurrency market. Who are long time in crypto currency market he will know ups and down is normal. Some times it will go up and some times it will go down. It depend on many news and economic situation. But new comers will be frustrated when Market will fall it is also right. Because they are not familiar with this cryptocurrency markets habits. So i think your friend has been demotivated. But when market will up then he will satisfied there has no doubt. I also think we need to advantage of the price fall. If we entire in deep we will be huge profited today or tomorrow.
For a normal being, it would be "abnormal" for them so I am not surprised that there are just other people that ain't willing to invest in crypto at all due to its volatile nature. Sometimes it might be affected by news, but sometimes it just doesn't at all like it just follows the price of Bitcoin at all since it is the dominant coin in the market (obviously).

I do sleep on my investment sometimes and not able to "take advantage" of the price since I am still aiming for higher ATH. We were at 64k+ in Bitcoin long time ago and I am still yet to await its newer ATH.
177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I start my journey on bitcoin talk forum i.e. in crypto world. on: July 14, 2023, 04:02:11 PM
Hello. How are you all?  I am new to this forum.  I came to know about bitcoin forum from a friend of mine.  But I don't know much about forums.  What should I do in this situation?  I know about Bounty but I am not interested in Bounty.  How do I start working?  What should I do? I want your help to start my journey-
Thanks-
Not meant to gatekeep you from the forum, OP but this forum isn't entirely circulating around bounties and this isn't an earning platform like surely some of your "friends" told ya. This is a forum for discussion/s and conversation/s with other users that are interested in crypto.

Think of it as Reddit but the only subs are Bitcoin and altcoins.

178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading and gambling on: July 14, 2023, 03:55:59 PM
Holding bitcoin is not the same thing as trading bitcoin. Gambling and trading are not the same thing too. Trading require you to learn trading skills but gambling require just some strategies. Trading can be risky like gambling, but they are not the same thing. If the price of bitcoin fall already, you can invest for months or years and you will most likely gain.
People tend to mix the two most of the time since they both involve risk factor, but it's much less of a risk when we're talking about hodling and trading since you can still get back your "thrown" money while in gambling, if you lose, it's entirely zero.

Even if trading can still be learned sometimes, there were times from my experience that I needed to be lucky just to squeeze tiny profits. I had day traded before so yeah that was my experience at the least.

I like the way you differentiate  the two, bitcoin trading is more of calculated indices, it's futuristic and realistic. While gambling main principles is primarily on luck and predictions. I think that if a bitcoin trader chooses to apply this principles of gambling that is based on luck and predictions, then it somewhat becomes a gambling method, which might not yield favourable results in terms of earnings. Better to stick to a realistic method of calculated indices, as you have rightly mentioned.
In a volatile market, luck can still become a factor. It's not always 100% skills and hardwork, luck comes into play also............ well just like in life. Cheesy
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be watchful it's not yet time on: July 14, 2023, 12:07:07 PM
Many people have gained trust that we are automatically back to the bullrun, this made them to be free in choosing altcoin and newly launched tokens without knowing that cryptocurrency price action and movement are so unpredictably. It could be high at this very moment and In the next few moments we may witness a serious dip without knowing what propelled to such rejection in price.

Deep down inside out minds we taught the halving is already there, so therefore we are free to still make whatever choices we want since any coin we buy and hold makes progress during the bullrun, It would likely affect us by making wrong choice. Do your research and never rely on anyone to give you accurate information about any projects because it's your money and by no chance did those people contributed to you.

Good luck and stay safe while we patiently wait to swimming into bull season.
Even if you rely on accurate information from yourself, it isn't a guarantee anyway. Imagine just how many legitimate projects out there just didn't hit the trend because of how many shitcoins there is in the market. You're free to choose any altcoin, but don't be surprised if it does not pay you back.

About relying anyone to give you accurate info, it depends sometimes since you'll never know what's wrong or right and what's legit and a scam unless you ask someone with credibility then experience investing into one. It's not that easy being solely the only one in crypto space.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling Bitcoin on: July 14, 2023, 12:01:24 PM
I don't know if that describes your situation haha.
I do that too because in my opinion, it's the best way to store large amounts of bitcoins and also spend bitcoins on other things.
And I will only open a wallet with bitcoins when the price is too high for me to sell.
So far, it has worked out pretty well for me because keeping bitcoins in two or several separate wallets gives me the opportunity to keep them while waiting for the bull run to come.
Hella true, and yeah you really 100% described how I hold my Bitcoin. It's also hard to keep track or audit your expenses when they're all just in a single wallet. I might even accidentally spend some amounts that were intentionally just used for hodling.

It worked out for me, so surely it will continue to work out for ya, mate.
