2981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC was a lifetime chance and I don't think we will see a similar opportunity on: April 03, 2021, 07:33:56 AM
It is for this reason that I continue to trade crypto every day. What if tomorrow there won't be such an opportunity?
I recalled an encouraging thread here before that says that the best time to invest Bitcoin was back in 2009-2013, now the second best time to invest Bitcoin is right now. Smiley
I hope that encourages you to still find opportunities by tomorrow or in the next day to invest one Smiley .
2982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A fake app in apple app stole his life savings in bitcoin on: April 03, 2021, 07:28:48 AM
It's sad that even one of the people from Trezor itself can't even get their voice heard.
App stores these days are more like reactive rather than proactive, wherein they would just respond to people that reported the app instead of dealing with it before the incident happened.

This is why mostly I don't use mobile apps a lot. Aside that I could be connected in an unsafe network outside my home, there are many hounds attempting to make me install malicious apps.
Even sometimes I even get paranoid in installing MEW's official mobile app. Cheesy
2983  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: April 03, 2021, 07:22:33 AM
Yeah it is a struggle to get past 60k, so from that I think we'll need to wait a bit more.
It could be either like 2018 wherein we'll get a crash after it stabilized a lot from 7k or we might be off to another burst increase just like how it even exceeded my expectation to just breach a little bit from 20k.
2984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low volume coins good for investment now? on: April 02, 2021, 07:54:35 PM
Can a coin with very low 24hrs volume still brings profit? For example zclassic, the volume isn't even up to 20k in 24hrs, is it worth the risk or it's a big no for you? What do you think about this?
I would avoid it if I were you.
I am not even familiar to what Zclassic is, maybe ETH Classic, but anyways I would just stay away from low-volume coins even inside a day of that volume count.
Just go with the top 10 coins, it would save you a lot of time for research.

2985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nicole wants to give up her taxi in exchange for bitcoin on: April 02, 2021, 07:50:57 PM
Not sure how much do drivers get these days but I guess it is up mostly to the meter.
Looking to the current events, it seems a bit of good idea because it is pandemic as there have been a lot of restriction in travel in different countries.
Assuming the story is true, still giving up your full-time job to go Bitcoin takes a balls to do as you know the price is indeed unstable.
2986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I created the best database of notable Bitcoin skeptics on the Internet on: April 02, 2021, 02:09:49 PM
I guess time to switch my favorite site to this when it comes to people hammering Bitcoin that it is a dead coin since 2013.
I wasn't aware that the Obituaries were off to their posts, but I guess mishandling data is common anyway.
It would still be nice if there was counter to that repetitive quote from people.

You got my bookmark and welcome to my watchlist, OP Cheesy .
2987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: See why most bounty hunters get scammed on: April 02, 2021, 09:14:46 AM
Jeez, I even saw people already telling that it is an obvious April Fools Day in the thread but still those newbies kept on applying.
They won't even bother reading or clicking the hyperlinks of the community to check how active it is.
I just checked that it all led to a Wikipedia page of April Fools Day.
What's even worse is that there are number of >Newbie rank that even applied to it.

Now those newbies will even whine and complain that they got scammed when they don't even do a single time to read and at least check the projects first.
It just makes me cringe that they don't care about what they're putting themselves into.

Kudos to the OP for bringing the thread up, and CryptopreneurBrainboss for clearing up that those users don't care at all in reading a single letter in bounty thread.
I don't tread a lot in bounty thread and I wasn't aware that an April Fools bounty was made. Cheesy
2988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I tried to tell him just HODL bitcoin, don't make this hard. on: April 02, 2021, 09:00:07 AM

Jeez.
-insert Michael Scott cringe gif-
He's right about one thing. It is "slow, but he took it the wrong way and just went altcoin.
Couldn't blame him though, the mindset of altcoins following Bitcoin's price doesn't apply to everybody.
2989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could we crowdfund a movie about Satoshi Nakamoto? on: April 02, 2021, 08:53:44 AM
~
Nah, sorry OP. Not gonna happen.
I rather binge-watch a lot of Bitcoin-related documentaries than documentary about someone that we didn't even know.
Don't even get me started about those fake-toshis here in the forum.

It would be somehow interesting if it somehow have the story the same as Edward Snowden, though I may be going a bit off-topic there already.
2990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin? on: April 01, 2021, 07:52:02 PM
~
Well that's up to one's personal preference.
I don't like drive a lot or to be a showy dude using that car, but it would be a nice experience to drive one actually.
In regards of buying it with Bitcoin, it would be hella coin-venient for me to buy one as I said before here, but it is almost the same thing as going all-out in crypto which I wouldn't do at all, judging from how much Tesla costs.
2991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If a project gets too complicated on: April 01, 2021, 07:14:45 PM
~
You're pointing out those people doing just petty investments to random projects like they don't care if it is a scam or not a long-term project, isn't it?
I guess this is why those shit/crap projects keep returning back to hunt more of their preys.
It is okay if it just an airdrop we're talking about but a project? Hell no.
2992  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you make in Bitcoin trading? on: April 01, 2021, 07:12:42 PM
1% every day, that seems so good for me. Maybe an expert will do more as they are much knowledgeable on the market but if you are just a starter, you will be lucky enough to have some profit.
Trading could be in timing, you can just buy and then sell. No, you should also have observed the market flow, and that to know how important it looks on the chart. That if you are too careless in here, you surely end up losing your money easily and this is often happening to newbies.
For small traders, that 1% won't budge a lot even for me. It's a meh.
Maybe for the rich types or those you call whales would call that more than enough every day, because surely they had invested more than 5 digits in USD and a 1% of that would be hell a lot.
2993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ADA Scam sites are unstopable? on: April 01, 2021, 07:11:07 PM
I think no team does as much as  Cardano to fight the scam. Recently they have launched a special anti-scam task force to combat scammers. But as they say "every tub must stand on its own bottom".[1]. So before doing something related with finance  on the page of   any site everyone must thoroughly examine it. Personally, I begin my "financial" journey by studying the site certificate.

You can't really moderate scams.
I saw the reasoning on why scams aren't even moderated here.
It's almost pointless because they're just gonna keep creating their own means in doing another scam.
Buy another domain and just make it look like the usual.
Not sure if that decision of Cardano team would be even worth it. Even to this day, there are still a lot of phishers in my junk email.
2994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the high gas fee make the altcoin make less volatile from bounty hunters on: April 01, 2021, 10:08:32 AM
~
Well it could lessen the people who would dump the project but I think it wouldn't really solve the problem of a new project being dump.
We all know that the bounty allocation is too small for the price of a whole project to fall down so we shouldn't just blame the hunters because they didn't invest money on it,
And other looks at them like they doesn't care about the project,
As much as an investor wants the project's price to go higher those bounty hunters also wants it to happen so they could gain more compare to their current earning if they dump it at a low price.
Well even though that's a small percentage, it would still surely have a minimal effect on the dump, maybe not that noticeable because of what I mentioned above.
Not sure how coins are allocated these days now in bounties, but it surely have a lot of divisions.
2995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: sharply diverged expectations for bitcoin on: April 01, 2021, 10:05:03 AM
Bitcoin should have a crazy drop at some point. It can't always go up. And some early adopters will want to sell at some point, so, if a guy comes with 10,000 btc to sell them, for sure that will crash the markets.

The issue here is... we don't know when it will happen, and how deep will be the crash. Only time will show us the truth.
I'd agree with that, but surely even if it can't always go up there should be at least a solid floor for Bitcoin to plummet and never go below that price.
I remember like in 2018 when Bitcoin was solidfying around 7k and it went like that for a lot of month before it crashed further.
2996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Buy btc Today and cash out one year on: April 01, 2021, 10:01:48 AM
That could be when it was still back in 2013.
Remember when people were looking to dip below $10 behind those years.
Dang I could've been a millionaire if I was like one of them already.
2997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: significance of different altcoilns on: April 01, 2021, 10:00:41 AM
Hey Guys, im still very new to crypto.  is there a resource to learn about the significance of different altcoins before investing?

You can learn about it and find out for yourself on coinmarketcap.
I think if your goal is to invest, it is very important with the Altcoins that you invest, at least you can reap the benefits of various types of coins that will have prices in the future. that's in my opinion the importance of storing different Altcoins.
Difficult thing about that is that it is hard to read one by one on how the coin will benefit one investor.
This is why my scope in CMC would be only inside top 10 and not even a strand of hair below that ranking.
Many shitcoins are coming and they won't ever end.
2998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC was a lifetime chance and I don't think we will see a similar opportunity on: March 31, 2021, 07:37:50 PM
Well I would wish the same, OP.
But it doesn't mean I would regret that I am here now rather than I regret not doing it back in 2017 Tongue .

I guess it isn't that bad at all that I was late to know the existence of Bitcoin, because there aren't that much means of buying it anyway in my country since I don't use credit/debit cards to provide myself one from popular exchanges like Coinbase anyway. Unlike today, I could just walk up to my convenience store and just scan a barcode to buy myself a BTC.
2999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs gold on: March 31, 2021, 07:35:04 PM
I guess OP's basing his/er  comparison through its value.
That's a bad comparison, OP.
It's an apple and orange comparison and it wouldn't make any sense to compare those two.
One is digital and one isn't.
3000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on Altcoin bullrun on: March 31, 2021, 07:33:22 PM
Well the 2017 bullrun was quite memorable, like even in Bitcoin everyone was eyeing on 20k, but didn't breach too far from that.
This month, we don't know actually, but just like what I would advise to many that don't focus too much in newer project cause most of it would end up in a crap value anyway.
