i thought mr teal took a roster of a list of google docs on those who were scammed etc.

so you should pm him about most up to date events and have him re-create the official thread that was locked.
1882  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Buffett was right? on: March 17, 2015, 09:42:16 PM
Buffet only invests what he knows.

So obviously the dude doesnt know much about bitcoin, so he`s referencing as what he think bitcoin is like.

Little does he know all these benefits of what it offers, like a wire transfer cost vs bitcoin cost to send money to the phillpines or some other country.
1883  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to use Bitcoin on? on: March 17, 2015, 09:38:17 PM
Everyone recommending to say use it has prob havent experience 2012.

I had .1 btc use for amazon gift card, later I find out if I held the bitcoin for 2 months I would of gotten $200 profit.

Like seriously??? HOLD.
1884  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: March 17, 2015, 09:36:14 PM
does anyone know where to buy the legit physical gold with the serial # etc.

or you guys just go to the bank and ask you`d like to convert this from your dollars and they give you a brick?
1885  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have USD 2000 to invest. Should I buy Bitcoins or gold? on: March 17, 2015, 09:33:49 PM
Why not just buy $1,000 worth of gold, then do $1,000 worth of bitcoin, and which one grows faster lol.

But since you split 50/50 you can see which one scales in profit? so you wont lose entire $1,000 if bitcoin ever did crash cause you got gold to back you up.

I only say this because NO ONE can read the future.
1886  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling JR member 59 posts account on: March 17, 2015, 09:31:59 PM

1887  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie here on: March 17, 2015, 09:30:46 PM
im not hating on you op, but like most people who run faucets dont get any users since all the olds ones are still here.

And you have to match what they pay out as well or else why bother go to yours you know?
1888  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where do i get my btc ? on: March 17, 2015, 09:28:47 PM
Most longest known faucet site is prob freebitco.in they been up like minimum of 2 years?

I remember I was still doing this back in 2012 when I got my BFL machine while I mined away as well.

I recommend their referral system as more to their free rolls etc.
1889  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best operative system? on: March 17, 2015, 09:27:32 PM
I`m using both windows and mac, but I prefer my bitcoin stuff on the mac side of things since there are known more virus towards pc setups.

Anyone can get bootcamp and dual side it, or like invest $20 for vmware and switch over not having to boot up each time and do both.

Again its personal preference.
1890  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is btc-e accepting wires from the U.S. now? on: March 04, 2015, 11:20:27 PM
dont even bother, with that huge risk.

just post you are willing to buy a btc-e code for the same value, with proper escrow.

That whole wire transfer nonsense was back in 2012 as well, and had selective deposits were credit and some were claimed lost.
1891  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTER.com hacked - 7170 BTC stolen [DON'T KEEP YOUR MONEY ON AN EXCHANGE] on: March 04, 2015, 11:17:30 PM
if BTER must change the office may mean they have no money for rent.
In one week, no one can move to a new office and make a new website.

Maybe they have some funds, but they cannot reimburse all the costumers (this is obvious). However let see what will happen before the end of this week.

it is pretty clear already that they have no funds to reimburse the lost of all their customer, if they did have funds, they would already settle up this issue just like bitstamp did, basically bter is just stalling the reimbursement, perhaps an act to collect some funds first

its better to attempt, then do nothing right?

it sucks though they had a huge security problem internally, that screwed everyone over basically..
1892  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: March 04, 2015, 11:15:59 PM
Has anyone been able to withdrawal?
I am still getting invalid pin errors. Google auth isn't working. I tried requesting my pin be reset but the email I receive is blank.

Thats a huge red flag. Unless they are going through some sort of maintenance on the website.

I hope hashnest gets it solved, if not then this is very concerning esp coming from a well once respected mining co.
1893  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any Cloud miner still worth it? on: March 04, 2015, 11:13:20 PM
It isnt but, theres cloudminr.io, I went through some of the pages and most have gottent their money back.

I posted how long it would take at current difficulties for .1btc within 2 weeks, if its a green light then im willing to take my chances. Then continue to reinvest more gh/s from there with the earned contracts.

1894  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase. Thanx a bunch!!! on: March 04, 2015, 11:10:00 PM
Coinbase is only a attractive to U.S residents, everyone else outside will have a similar struggle.

I would make a post on wanting a btc-e code for the value you want. Then paying okpay or something in your preferred cash payment w. proper escrow.

1898  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: If you are part of the latest HASHRA SCAM please reply here... on: March 03, 2015, 10:51:01 PM
The only thing you can expect to hear from Hasra.com is another set back which is ultimately a lie anyhow.. Anyone that purchased from Hashra.com / Simon Bright has been totally ripped off... file legal actions.

Where would you begin? since this is based out of china...

And as for authorities over there, they dont really give a fuk, this is based from experience hearing how business is conducted from my chinese friends.
1899  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which BTC wallet are you using on: March 03, 2015, 10:48:33 PM
Just a question  Wink

Which BTC wallet  you are using?
coinbase , blockchain, btc-e, bittrex or any one else?

Out of the wallets you mention i use Blockchain the most but i do keep small amounts on btc-e and bittrex to buy alts easier and make more btc  Smiley

I should really use a offline wallet i guess when i lose a few btc i will but fingers crossed till now my 2fa and not clicking random links has been ok.

Which wallets do you use?

have you read about all those horror blockchain balance lost. It was regarding on the 2fa security and other balances. this is about 3 months ago, but its still recent.

you might want to check this before and consider spliting the balance.
