1761  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: SR account with trust on: April 08, 2015, 07:46:23 PM
I would just hold the account, and make it a hero member?

I mean if you arent getting the prices you want, id still continue doing the signature as a better alternative. This is just speaking from experience.
1762  Economy / Speculation / Re: 21 million Bitcoin on: April 08, 2015, 07:39:30 PM
Its a fixed supply, so anything beyond that will prob become more of a miner fee.

And it acts more of gold concept, rather then a fiat concept. Which most people still find it hard to believe but its been comparing to gold standard.
1763  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: pool mining question on: April 08, 2015, 07:36:41 PM
outside from the website, and all the other stuff.

just hire a coder who can do the techincal stuff, while you do the website stuff. Break down the work, but the coder needs to develop the software if you want more users, the more user friendly it is, you`ll see a bunch of migration.

Look at bitminter for example, they adopted the mac osx, making it a simple plug and play after downloaded.
1764  Economy / Speculation / Re: Thought we were having a stable time, what happened a few hours ago? on: April 08, 2015, 07:34:23 PM
Don't worry. But I would not invest so much money that I had to be concerned about bills I have to pay.
Only play with your spare money. Wink

Seems like we need more people like you around, seriously lol.

Most people buy bitcoin outside of their own way to get it, and end up not factoring things they need to pay off. op, you`ll have your chance still before this year ends, unless something drastic happens.
1765  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The cost of electricity in the world on: April 08, 2015, 07:25:21 PM
Instead of doing the cost break down, you most likely have to take into a different approach.

You would have to take a more eco friendly approach and sacrafice on performance downside if its not enough juice.

eg: going to install solar panels for non-stop free stored electrcity, but you need a capacitor that can translate that towards at night that switches off.
1766  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is mining worth it nowadays? on: April 08, 2015, 07:22:31 PM
Mining is only worth it, if you buy it with the form of security.

Knowing that operator is taking all the risk, with hosting facility, electricity and everything else needs. And also allows a traditional form of payment like accepting credit cards, so if shit happens you know you can do a charge back.
1767  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Has mining (vs. simply buying) ever been profitable? on: April 08, 2015, 07:20:08 PM
I would just consider buying at this point.

Only because the prices are back where it once were before the whole mt. gox fiasco. You can actually have a 2nd chance at bitcoin to see some real solid events if or when it does occur, on what the price would look.
1768  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoins lack of interest, lack of traction on: April 08, 2015, 07:17:47 PM
Yup. last 3 months are definitely up.

Those #`s are flawed, since their are people buying and sellling accounts. You can just predict a enormous growth based on those #`s, since it could be old users that go building accounts just to sell it or used for other manipulated purposed.

If you believe that, then thats naive thinking no offense.

Doesn't mater if it's a legit account or not.

There's still more activity one way or another.

You do realize that people can make 200 accounts on average given day right, and its really 1 person. Now do that with on the scale of 2 people thats already 400 accounts.

Or are you not getting growth can be manipulated with people catching on to do the same thing as well.
1769  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Buy a small power plant to just mine? on: April 08, 2015, 07:13:23 PM
small power plant? I dont think theres such thing as a "small" power plant.

Its all usually bigger like a commercial estate level, which is run by entities tie within government contracts. Eventually you would need roof top solar panels, and things that take over that can off set the electricity usage.
1770  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: April 08, 2015, 07:09:48 PM
Wait so are you accepting the loss here? and not doing the RMA process?

Thats just money loss out the door on some production level not your fault right.. so why not do the RMA?

Edit: nevermind, just read the cost of RMA.. what the hell. is there a way to still sell this though on ebay and breaking even though? if it still mines of course, but under several conditions. so then it wouldnt be much of a loss?
1771  Economy / Speculation / Re: Huobi going down, Bitfinex refusing to follow any further on: April 08, 2015, 06:59:56 PM
Not surprised, since they pretty can control $50 difference or more.

Its like they want a huge volume discount for a certain price, so why not try on how the market reacts right? I would probably do the same thing if I was a whale too.
1772  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Any Money to be Made in Hosting??? on: April 08, 2015, 06:56:14 PM
I agree, cloudmining is really bad.

I mean you see it so often now, that most are bad operators that actually just leave and screw most buyers out. If you need to bother with that nonsense you might as well just try buying bitcoin instead and hold or just not be in the mining scene.

For most we have no option, like here california its a pain to mine, so I just buy.
1773  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Hero member account on: April 07, 2015, 06:11:00 PM
Op, if you are getting dumb offers this is what I would do.

Make an auction thread instead, and have a buy it now price, and a reserve price so at least this way you can hedge both. But, I seen more people are going towards the auction area since they want a deal so consider that option if things dont do well in this section.

1774  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: taking cointellect to court on: April 07, 2015, 06:06:51 PM
Any updates op?

Just here to follow up on your case, cause I`m into busting scams as well. Let me know what I can do to help your thread or build more awareness.  Smiley
1775  Economy / Speculation / Re: The next bubble could well surprise even the early traders... on: April 07, 2015, 05:59:40 PM
It would surprise me if the ETf does finally go through and gets accepted on SEC. Most have been waiting for that announcement back in 2013 though.. and its been like 3 years now.

Although I`ll be more intrigued, if the movement of the price goes like $700 price mark.
1776  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Winklevoss' bitcoin ETF would be the same as Barry Silbert's GBTC on: April 07, 2015, 05:46:51 PM
Well if they are already pretty rich off facebooks pay off, why would they sell their ETF`s off?

It doesnt make sense, esp, when they are already mega rich and they dont put down only a small portion of their money into their own exchange and the ETF creation they trying to do both at the same time.

It seems more they want to dominate this space, so they have the ability to do both exits when they choose to do so.
1777  Economy / Economics / Re: Cyprus lifts all capital controls on: April 07, 2015, 05:38:48 PM
It sounds about right through with towards most european banks or their financial system.

Greece as a prime example, why not cyprus? I mean its pretty comparable based on the size, but still most are on a lending terms with the central banks in london, which everyone who holds the euro.

Also germany included which is prob the 2nd largest after london.
1778  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My Mining Hardware on: April 07, 2015, 05:35:58 PM
So what would be the point, if I can just do spoondlies cloudmining partnership w. genesis mining.

I rather risk buying bitcoin or going with them, and since they allow me to pay it on a credit card I`m assured of 1 year protection based on fraudulent stuff I can do a possible charge back and open a case.

1779  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: April 07, 2015, 05:30:28 PM
Because people see and feel more on a negative loss, then a positive one lol.

You can do this yourself, but go to primedice and roll 50 times of 0.0001 and when you get to a large principal after 50 times, then last roll a negative wiping out that entire sum. Yeah, you`ll remember more on the negative then the positive of getting to it.

This debate is to show you most of us feel x7 more on loss. So when the price drops on a trend, yeah people feel the same page and do the same.
1780  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoins do governments and central banks own? on: April 07, 2015, 05:21:57 PM
It wouldnt be the government, but more towards banks thats have ties with private networks between companies.

Companies that have access to large transactions doing insider deals can take place. Eg: Coinbase

Instead of a bank getting involved, they have friends who place their money into a VC firm, which then funds the start ups like coinbase. They play both sides of this game, it was never a competition since thats an illusion for most.

They play to win, not to lose. Its a zero sum game, 1 way bets.
