So trump just sold the sauds weapons worth 110 billion $.
/edit In the next 10 years additional weapons worth 240 350 billion $.

God trump just showed this muslim pigs who the boss is Roll Eyes

Or was is just a clone of trump made by the deep state? Wink

No, this is more of that 4D chess. The Mexicans are going to pay for those weapons Wink

But seriously, Obama-Saudi asskissery aside, this kind of belies all his rhetoric on Islam. So we are going to sell weapons to the perpetrators of 9/11? Dangerous mmigrants are cool apparently, just rich ones.

What I want to know is, when they impeach this guy, what are we going to do about all the rash desicions that have been made in the meanwhile? Some of this shit is irreversible, and we have permanently lost 'Big Bro' status internationally. We are like the mom from Malcom in the Middle. No one likes us, and if we got in a car accident on the way from work, meh.

Spendulus, would you like to explain to us what our President is doing right now? Wink There is a Obama/Hillary conspiracy that would explain this, I'm sure of it.
1222  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How much damage could North Korea unleash even without nuclear weapons? on: May 20, 2017, 01:35:44 PM
They can do a lot of harm in cyber crimes. I have doubts the ransom ware ,the latest wanna cry is created in North Korea. I know the population there has no access to internet, but those 600 hundred people who have access to it, all are high qualified informatics persons working for the government. I don't think they can do much harm without their weapons except this one, the cyber crimes zone.

YES. I am more afraid of a firesail from NK than a nuke, I feel like they are already capable of the former. WannaCry (so aptly named) looks like NK might be involved, and these are the guys that did the Sony hack. They may not have food, but dammit, someone has T4 and a chip on their shoulder.

They also produce rare earth I think, have to check. If they wanted to be dicks about it, might seriously slow down tech production (we would resource, but there would be disruption).
1223  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: May 20, 2017, 01:29:56 PM

Lieberman for FBI!  Are you fuckin' kidding me!

If there was ever a doubt that Trump was a team player in Israel's game of controlling compromised U.S. politicians via various kinds of extortion, that's out the window.

I LOLed my ass off for a while, which eventually faded into tears, then quiet sobs.

Joe Lieberman. This was obviously a dart board/drawn lot style decision. Wink

Maybe he is playing 4th dimensional chess, and this is all a huge troll? I'm joking.
1224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used in space? on: May 18, 2017, 04:02:37 AM

Astronauts don't need to use bitcoin since everything provided by NASA (or other government space agency) they work with. Also, i think anyone can't make bitcoin transaction/verification unless they can connect to trusted bitcoin nodes/run their own full nodes with fast/reliable internet connection.
Maybe we should think how bitcoin can be used in mars after human can life there instead Roll Eyes
Exactly what i was thinking, why would a space traveler or Astronaut need to use bitcoin there  those guys get paid well and am sure BTC is not their area of interest besides having to go to space is a privilege not a business trip.
Otherwise bitcoin in space is up and ready to be used thanks to the super fast internet found up there.

Was here immediately. What the hell are they going to buy in space? And more importantly, how long will it take to get a confirmation, when it takes a while just to relay the transaction to a node Wink it's bad enough already, I don't want to persih waiting Smiley
1225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Core Developers won't compromise on: May 18, 2017, 04:00:43 AM
Very simply, they do NOT want on-chain scaling. In their own words, "segwit IS a compromise". We can only interpret that to mean a compromise between sensible scaling and NO on-chain scaling, which is in fact what they secretly want!

They want Bitcoin to be a settlement network, but do not have the honesty to admit this.

They cannot honestly and openly admit "yes we want to change Bitcoin from Satoshi's peer to peer cash into a settlement network" because it would be so radical that it would have a high probability of getting backlash from the community. Therefore, they have opted to be sneaky about it.

Because they want bitcoin to be a settlement network, the impasse is fine with them, perhaps even better than segwit.

Segwit represents a tiny amount of on-chain scaling designed to make it APPEAR that Core is willing to offer on-chain scaling, yet designed in a way that it will not even activate (95% consensus), and even if it does, it would be years later than appropriate.

Segwit IS their compromise. Ideally, for them, no on chain scaling occurs.

To summarize: There is no need to compromise further because no change works in their favor.

Sweet Jesus the replies are long on this one. I see this is a passionate topic, I'll keep it short and sweet.

It's obviously political at this point. Members are all heavily invested in btc, and decisions made about the protocol tend to preserve the wealth /interest of the board, not the populace. It's money, folks, and cronyism/greed is slowing down the innovation worse than regulation.
1226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This could be big: US Government considering accepting bitcoin payment on: May 18, 2017, 03:57:47 AM
Probably just a way to track down funds of immigrants as they can't do that for non bitcoin users due to governments of other countries hiding that information.

Either way, a government taking this kind of action has me worried. I see absolutely no reason for them to have any incentive to start accepting bitcoin.

Same. Our gov shouldn't really be interested in btc outside of criminal activity/ money laundering. I'd much rather citizens that affic in the native currency, rather than a foreign/exotic currency, using the domestic scrip guarantees its value. If the gov starts trying to associate people with addresses, watch out. It is the beginning of the IRS cracking down on tax avoidance.

Observe the current IRS/Coinbase situation. We don't talk about it as much, but it's still in progress Wink
1227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: May 18, 2017, 03:50:42 AM
Bitcoin being commercialized on the Television would allow more people that haven't heard about Bitcoin to get involved with Bitcoin. Since there's people that like to make money doing a bunch of odd things then I am pretty sure that there would be people who will be interested in making money by only investing their money into Bitcoin.

The MSM has made a few attempts to push bitcoin, it seems Hollywood writers are into cryptos ( I remember an Adult Swim bump that listed the writer's favorite alts). They mentioned it on Almost Human, and Family Guy. But it's still a bit arcane and too technical for the masses; btc needs alot more user friendliness before widespread adoption is possible.
1228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "A Buck an Address" on: May 18, 2017, 03:47:34 AM
...

Average Joe Gold and BTC Guy just went browsing at blockchain.info in a recent block to see what sorts of FEES are being paid.  Almost all of the trx that I checked were in the range of 575 - 850 Satoshis / byte.  Very high!  Even very low amounts being sent had high fees.

It is possible that I am interpreting something incorrectly, if not here is my new Working Rule of Thumb sending BTC:

$1.00 / address (+/- 650 Satoshis for a very simple trx).

$3.00 for a typical transaction is way too much.  Only amounts, barring emergencies, over (say) $100 are worthwhile with fees that high.

"A Buck an Address"

A whole new world.

(Edited for spelling)

It has gotten to the point were it's damn near unavoidable, if you actually want to move the funds in a timely manner and have the transaction confirm. I live of my Shift card, a btc debit card, literally. I'm ole school, I don't trust anyone to hold my coins accept me, so I don't send funds to the card until right before I'mabout to spend them. It's a PITA, if you don't send max fees nowadays, a ten minute confirmed transaction may become a 40 minute wait at MCDs, for three confirms Wink
1229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've Had Enough Of BTC - Converting To A New Currency on: May 18, 2017, 03:42:46 AM
I've had enough of btc and its rising fees along with many hours of unconfirmed transactions. No one should have to continuously chase fees just to get a quick confirmation. This is insane and madness. This is destroying the business model for those who wish to do e-commerce business using bitcoins.  Which cryptocurrency to you recommended to switch over to and why?

Don't give up on btc. As the telic/parent, the space honestly depends on bitcoin succeeding, so that confidence in cryptocurriencies can grow to the point where other coins are ubiquitous and accepted. There are plenty of promising coins with unique functions; but you would always do well to keep a btc or two to the side for a much later date. The greatest amount of infrastructure has gone into btc; people will be increasingly reluctant to abandon all that progree as time goes on.

You can sleep around on btc, but never abandon it.
1230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: May 18, 2017, 03:38:54 AM
the price will increase, for sure. And then no one wants to use Bitcoin anymore because I believe that 21 millions Bitcoin can not adapt 7 billions people and more over, miners and the blockchain can not confirm 1 transaction in less than an hour
yeah many people do not spend their bitcoin because they are sure that bitcoin price increasing constantly everyday then they hold their bitcoin and waiting for more high price and i hope they will be get a big profit in the future.

As much as possible I do not enter into any bitcoin spending now since were really sure that its value will increase more than what's happening now, anyway it is seems a way of investing in a safer way since bitcoin value is obviously increasing.
Yes t will increase more high. And if all the governments will guarantee for the security of bitcoin then everyone will have their own bank in their wallet and will store their money only in bitcoin on their wallet
That will be a crazy time for the users of bitcoin as at that time bitcoin will be a more precious asset of the world because the supply and amount of bitcoin is limited and the demand will be from all of the world and even a single satoshi will be much precious to buy. The current users will be the more rich people of the world.

This would scare the living shit out of me, as thus would make bitcoin the one currency the Bible talks about. For one, I don't think it will happen as a state can't control the rate of inflation, which is crazy important if you are planning something as lofty as finacial policy for a whole nation. Also, if States were interested in adopting bitcoin, they would mine it. If any one state attempted to mine bitcoin for itself, it would be an arms race as nations competed to build the best/ most efficient miners. No private company, not even BitFury or Bitmain, could compete with a state actor concerning bitcoin.

Easier to make a new, more controllable bitcoin than subvert the original coin.
1231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was the value of 1 Bitcoin when you first mined/purchased? on: May 18, 2017, 03:16:24 AM
I bought my first bitcoin at the price of $900...

I started at 90. Back before Charlie Shreem was in jail, when BitInstant was a s easy as driving to the nearest Walgreens and filling out a form. Back before KYC, and AML, even right before all the major crypto assets. As crazy as it was back then, and that wasn't even the beginning, I miss it, the seat of your pants feel that bitcoin used to have. It's a PayPal with a more just cause, nowadays.
1232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 18, 2017, 03:10:50 AM
the fees are actually over $13 per transaction when you include the block reward!  This averages out to only 0.5% of the total transaction volume which is pretty cheap for proven security.

small transactions are somewhat subsidizing larger ones because of the tx fees.. which i think is obviously terrible for the currency.

The fees seemingly need to be pegged to a USD amount, or at least the protocol should be aware of the value of USD, respective bitcoin. I say this not to extol the supremacy of the dollar, but to peg the fees to a reasonable marker. USD is ubiquitous and already somewhat of a global standard. I love bitcoin going to the moon, but it sucks that the fees had to come along too Wink
1233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: May 18, 2017, 03:06:33 AM
The only thing constant in this world is change, so for sure bitcoin is not always going to be on top, if you take into consideration the uncertain future ahead of us. Obviously,  it is the king of the hill at the moment, but there are many factors that affect how certain things turn out or behave in the future. But for now, let us enjoy the high price, amid development issues and increasing transaction fees that wil have to be addressed one way or another, that is if the plan is for bitcoin to remain number 1.

Lets just enjoy what bitcoin can offer to us now, bitcoin really gives a lot of opportunity to us in terms of learning new skills,in making business ,investing and trading ,it does really help us to save for future ,but lets always keep our accounts sage and careful in every transactions were doing.

Bitcoin was the first mover, that means alot in a space as experimental as this. The trust and capitalization built into bitcoin thus far, is a measure of the trust that people have begrudgingly bestowed upon bitcoin. As long as blockchains are a thing, bitcoin will persist, but there will be a state issued bitcoin 2.0, it's just a matter of time.
1234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 18, 2017, 03:02:58 AM
Bitcoin's not going anywhere.  It's the gold standard.

I think there is room for "alts" if they can do something better than bitcoin can, or if they can do something that bitcoin can't.

The obvious thing is low transaction fees for smaller payments.  Bitcoin seems to be giving up that segment at the moment, though it's possible it could reclaim it in the future.  Now's the time that an "alt" could gain traction here.

The most exciting new thing, though, and something that bitcoin doesn't really do at all, is smart contracts.

I think Ethereum is the start of this, and those that build on it and expand the contract functionality have a lot of potential.

I agree. Altcoins represent their own unique qualities but they are still not closed to bitcoin. From their name they are just an alternative.

I agree , bitcoin will always be the pioneer of all coins , it has the most numerous number of participants and the most investment value, bitcoin is the father of all alternative coins, i think alt coins are depending on bitcoins , it cannot change bitcoin , bitcoin has a stronger market value. and been strongest among all alt coins.

Surely, bitcoin is here to stay, it was the progenitor. But it's not so regulatable. Thus is the draw of ETH and XRP, they are mutable enough to control on a state/corporate level. XRP can even be reversed; takes the whole blockchain experience away IMO.
1235  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Murdered Seth Rich was the DNC leaker Not Russia on: May 17, 2017, 11:44:45 PM
....Seth Rich, oh somebody did that shit. You don't get mugged in DC with a wallet intact. But the Clintons? I see a reach to attribute this to her. See an overzealous gov agent capping him, the FBI in the preliminary throes of its Trump investigation (becuase this was going on even before he was elected). People aren't stupid. The leak was illegal, would have been much better to make him a whipping boy. Would have painted RNC collusion against the DNC, would have sold the public on a DNC vote. And the emails/info was already passed. Killing him again didn't 'advance the agenda' so to speak.

I see an article using sourced rumors to perpetuate a long running theme: Satanic, kid fucking Clintons. I certainly believe Bill has had a few young girls, but systemic pedophilia for both him and his wife, no. Also, they are Christian. Hillary might have even been raised Evangelical, I think I read.
Many sociopaths and psychopaths attend church routinely, and some even run churches.

Try to look at a bigger picture. Like I said, dead people seem to have been cropping up around the Clintons, well, since the 1980s.....  There's no need to exaggerate or goal shift the matter into ridiculous stuff like pedophilia and Satanics.

But this is literally the party line on this. I think she's an old, rich white woman, not a Satanist, and I didn't make the shit up. The rumors on the Clintons are ridiculous. I'm just repeating the taking points I've seen around the forum concerning the matter. I could link you to Clinton conspiracy kinks on this very forum, and this is a well known talking point of the extreme right. Other people have more pressing shit to worry about than who the ancient ass Clintons are fucking.
1236  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump revealed highly classified information to Russia on: May 17, 2017, 10:56:33 PM

Just a couple comments. Your favorite ex Prez bows to Saudi kings. Read into that whatever you want. He eats pork, so he's not a very good Muslim.

Obaby was highly unpopular with large segments of the population.
Now Trump appears to be unpopular. So what?

What matters is that I said the accusations were fucking nuts, and you responded with a rant on five unrelated issues such as popularity? Get real.

*it's cuz he's Christian.

You said, he the COF so he gets to discuss what he wants. I said, thats fine, but you can't discuss things that would compromise your allies, as that is kinda like, you know, helping the enemy. The InfoWars crowd may have convinced you this is trivial, but it's not. At least, Israel doesn't think so, but meh, Israel.

http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/trumps-disclosure-endangered-spy-inside-isis-israel-officials/story?id=47449304

Israel flipped a shit. They think it's a deal.

Was pointing out OB got the same bad press. Just, was more opinion than actual obvious fuckery. Trump is dropping the ball every fucking play, this time major news sources get to ridicule an unpopular president, not just Fox and somerightwingbullshit.com

But, I will admit I got off track at the end, started ranting. Really would take Kid Rock though. Those hats are fetch, dammit.
1237  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: May 17, 2017, 08:36:58 PM

Take some vitamins.  It won't be long --- oh wait ---- we have it.

In spades.

LOL, it will take Trump and Putin holding hands on a park bench, before some folk will accept the reality of the situation. But, when you mistrust the very media meant to inform you (I will concede it also serves to deceive), how do you define reality? It must suck distrusting consensus.

It's easier to believe there is sex dungeon in a freaking pizza parlour, than it is to accept 45 isn't legit. Time will make a liar of  one of us, though Wink
1238  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Murdered Seth Rich was the DNC leaker Not Russia on: May 17, 2017, 08:26:49 PM
.....
"Even if tomorrow, an email was found, it is not a high enough bar of evidence to prove any interactions as emails can be altered and we've seen that those interested in pushing conspiracies will stop at nothing to do so," Bauman said. "We are a family who is committed to facts, not fake evidence that surfaces every few months to fill the void and distract law enforcement and the general public from finding Seth's murderers."[/b]

But, unofficially a federal investigator (according to Fox) has said emails exist, but the investigation is stalled. We will see, but I'm thinking this one might be bunk. If it is true and he did get wrapped up in some shit, it will get buried in the Trumpian news cycle.

Emails can be altered? Bauman isn't very familiar with computer forensics.

Buried in the Trumpian news cycle? You mean some people wouldn't like it to be proved that the LEAK was a DNC staffer who was murdered, and not Russia?

What exactly do you wish to happen on this?

Oh, I give few fucks. I hate that the young man perished, I hate to see anyone suffer. But maybe we have more pressing concerns at the moment, and his family is asking for privacy. Just because you ask doesn't mean you get, but respect for the dead and all that jazz. I actually think there is something to this, it just won't see the light, esp in this 'Trumpian news cycle'. Let me explain.

Go to any major new source. not the political section, the general us news. See Trump? Exactly. Jesus could return right now and I think people would still be talking about Comey.

Think of the implications. The gov killed him, that's the most obviously motivated actor. You think that's going to get resolved anytime soon? Hold your breath. Trump will be in jail before this is a msm talking point again. Much as y'all hate the msm, that's Mammon, in all its substance. More the mouthpiece of the beast, but that another convo. You can't deny Mammon, you can only adapt. We are creatures of substance. Acknowledge the world you live in, it's corrupt to shit.

Cool to be paranoid, but be real.

The murders seem to swirl around the Clintons. (I'd like to blame some of them on Obama lol), but they really do seem to be around the Clintons. I think it's fair to say a lot of people would disagree with "the gov killed him," because this goes back to when Bill Clinton was president and back beyond that, to when he was Governor.

Three in one month -

http://yournewswire.com/three-anti-clinton-officials-found-dead-in-one-month/

This is all real. I'm not really sure what's going on, but it's been one of those "where there's smoke there's fire" kind of things. If Trump has kicked the Clintons out of the power systems he's done everybody a favor.

Alright, let's examine your article.

A fine use of rhetoric here, this is pretty clean. Let me point out some issues:

1)  Victor Thorn is the most legit claim of this article. My problems with his death; there certainly was a motive to kill him, if the Clintons are what you say, but why did they wait til his birthday, the day he would be most likely to be in contact with his social network/family, to come kill him on his mountaintop home? Operational security aside, this would be a nightmare job. To many unknown unknowns, extracting from a mountaintop could be problematic without cover, etc. The idea that he walked outside and killed himself makes alot more sense. Esp since it was his bday, statistically, would be about right.

But don't take my word for it:
http://www.snopes.com/2016/08/05/victor-thorn-death-report/

2)  Shawn Lucas was a process server in a viral video. Don't see how offing him advances the agenda. Didn't have sensitive information, wasn't connected. So, the explanation that he died from an opiod overdose (oh, and kratom, my bad I forgot), seems really plausible. Contrary to the article, most people don't voluntarily sleep on the bathroom floor when there is a bed with a girlfriend in it, so very close. Also, his death was unnecessary optics that were predictable, wouldn't have been worth the risk for this seeming non gain.

Survey says:
http://www.snopes.com/2016/11/04/dnc-lawsuit-process-server-shawn-lucas-has-died/

3)  Seth Rich, oh somebody did that shit. You don't get mugged in DC with a wallet intact. But the Clintons? I see a reach to attribute this to her. See an overzealous gov agent capping him, the FBI in the preliminary throes of its Trump investigation (becuase this was going on even before he was elected). People aren't stupid. I see an article using sourced rumors to perpetuate a long running theme: Satanic, kid fucking Clintons. 1239  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump should make insider trading from congress illegal on: May 17, 2017, 07:49:11 PM
your post is like a propaganda piece... well done.

1) Wrong the Congress has never criminalize insider trading; for themselves they have specifically legalized it. Then no one knows what's in Dodd franck (typical obama admin failure like sickcare) but as no one knew what's inside it tamed some practices.

2) the only person in the world jailed or annoyed for insider trading was martha steward... they have no idea what's going on. Trillions trades, shell entity on shell entity wrapped in multijuridiction beyond extradition. However it's rasy to track specific known people : msm workers and co and specifically their assets (irs). There is no reason to believe that the SEC is better than the FDA or EPA. They live a little from taxes and mostly from inflation through deficit spending. I bet you they have a negative balance ratio between their fines and their costs. Where is corzine...

3) LoL again no one can know or have dodd franck in mind. Too much. And it's not like physics where it's demonstrable, inferable or thinkeable.

Your final point is maybe true or not. But it's true that by being a fat cat nourrished by fiat printing in a hot real estate market lacking regulation for tax evasion through building, his capavity may have been overestimated. Sadly he seems to lack the spirit of war. He still seems to want to appease his opponents. Obama didn't care of what they thought. He vaccinated, supported his unions, imposed his view etc. But don't believe it was easy... he was the worms in the apple. Trump seems to care too much of others thinking and specifically of little princess (which is good (ivanka) but worst her husby...

So to resume obama crew, necessiates strong answer from kremlin and bejing. Trump seems to need supports against this group... becsuse if he goes, they comeback. And back to confrontation, scaled. And if they believe to be able to win... many did.

DRAIN THE SWAMP kushner snd ivanka are little precious, never fought, never accomplish anything not already given, formated and programmed tools used by the opposition to America great again. Diamond spooners.

And finally it says a lot about them... they have no problem to jail someone for a plant, bit for themselves...

4 drug testing on congress, if the weasel of i don't know his name was a man...

There is 2 choice in survival: surrender or kill. Trump needs to speak with putin about swarm cleaning operations... or outsource to chineses. Against the obama crowd... there is no middle path. It's total victory or annihilation. They will exploit all weakness or sign of mercy.

Or as kim would say: blast them, hash them. Chop chop!

I blushed Wink Never been accused if shilling for a bank before.

1) I didn't think Dodd Frank was that nebulous. Not a lawyer, but DF seemed to do a lot of things to regulate a market that was the Wild West, like bitcoin at its inception. This was also coming out of the Recession, bear in mind.

Dodd Frank eliminated the concept of 'too big to fail', and allowed the gov to divide a bank if it's scope became so large that failure would be an imminent threat to domestic economic security. It regulated derivatives, which make bitcoin look mundane, in my opinion.  It also established the FIO, ensuring insurance companies can't crash markets, or manipulate rates at the expense of customers. And most importantly, it established the CFPB, protecting our asses from outright malfeasance from our investment managers, and mailing a certain clarity in bank/customer relations.

And, it protected whistleblowers.

2) oh nah. Read Forbes or IB. It happens, not frequently enough, and never to the people that deserve it, usually Jr traders that are fall guys.

Maybe celebrities over net worth should have to disclose assets, in order to prevent this. Oh wait, that happens already. That's how the got Martha.

3) don't know how to respond...

4) drug test em, every last one of them. I have no problem with that.

So we had Dodd Frank, but that wasn't good enough. Was it because it was regulation, and you are small gov? This regulation actually helped, it penalized industries that were taking advantage of consumers.

Are you anti gov, or just anti Obama like everyone else here? Wink

So far this month 12 people dead in shootings.. pew pew pew

Sweet Jesus I LOLed. You get a cookie Wink

Good ole Murica. I love this fucker and hate it, but like it more than I dislike it.

My dick gets hard for guns, I'll be damned if I'm deprived. But the longer I stay on this earth, the less I'm seeing a need for high caliber handguns, and assault rifles in the hands of unqualified civilians. Don't take my long guns. But maybe we should be a little more vigilant for those that would buy the more lethal ordinance. It trickles back down too frequently, and usually just ends up in the hands of a drug organization, eventually.
