1321  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Israel's current existence ironic? on: May 03, 2017, 09:14:42 AM
And yet those poor Europeans are still dreaming of their multiculturalist utopia being a standard across the world. Sigh. Sweden has even been accused of covering up abuses done by the immigrunts. Almost every journalist that has been to Rikeby has been attacked. To be fair with them, how do you arrest rapefugees that mob and molest girls at concerts when most of the people there are rapefugees.

Europeans - they will be missed.

Sweden has made it an offense to mention the skin color or the race of the perpetrator, in case of violent offenses such as rape and murder. If you mention the skin color of the criminal, then you will go to jail. An example of how rabid the political correctness can be.
What a bullshit! If he has this skin color it is not an insult but a statement of facts. It seems to me that such rules we provoke terrorists and criminals. Isn't that harassment of other residents? I like smoke and I was restricted only special Smoking areas. Isn't this infringe upon my rights?

That is obviously bad, free speech should be sacred, however also identifying people based on their skin color is not really fair.

An individual is an individual, and if he is criminal, then he is. But to expand his criminality to his entire race is very unfair.

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. I have a dream today!" -  Martin Luther King Jr.

But if we couldn't stereotype, people wouldn't have convenient targets for their generic, unfocused hate Wink

In time, as our social technologies continue to develop, we will look back and retroactively identify the true reason for criminality, which is poverty. But as crime is a talking point in American politics, a huge one, the rhetoric has gone dog whistle rather than the overt racism we saw only a few short decades ago. So, much easier to make a skin color, or a culture, a scapegoat.  This is the negative side of populism that comes out EVERY time it's presented. rather than a national pride that goes along with an appreciation for other cultures, it's a xenophobia punctuated with ridicule for certain, target cultures, and a national selfishness; an unwillingness to assist others on a global scale.
1322  Other / Politics & Society / Re: U.S. vs North Korea: South Korea rejects Trump $1b Missile defense bill! on: May 03, 2017, 09:02:29 AM
Actually, the South Koreans must hand over a $100 billion bill to Trump, for the additional expenses caused as a result of the recent provocations along the North Korean border. And perhaps they should seriously consider expelling the American soldiers from South Korea.
This will never happen. South Korea will not pay Trump $ 1 billion for the placement of its territory THAAD. The Americans not only defend South Korea and Japan. They are in their territory protect the interests and security of America. Trump you idiot! Whatever it was, the aircraft Carrier "Carl Vinson" has entered the sea of Japan.

If the South Koreans and the Japanese doesn't want the American protection, then why are you so adamant on placing the US troops there? Japan has been under the US occupation ever since 1945. Perhaps the time has come to restore the sovereignty of that nation.

There is operational security in knowing that allies, and the strategic geographic bases they inhabit, stay secure. If we allow areas of interest to degrade, when they become of tactical importance, we would have to fix them first. I'm all for them being sovereign, but global security is not any one nation's  job, ESP in the case of a rogue actor like this. Also, in this time of heightened nuclear tensions, it's kinda asshole to ask someone to pay for something that is so vital to the security of the entire world. Nationalism is only cool until your country needs help. Then the borders come rdown as fast as they went up.

And SK, like Mexico, is not going to pay. Like always, the tax payers will pay.
1323  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: May 03, 2017, 08:54:54 AM
I lose my respect to Trump. He was bought by war industries.

Perhaps it is too early to reach any conclusion in this regard. Trump is perhaps using this opportunity to improve his approval ratings. He may not be interested in an all out war against the North Korea. I still believe he is a much better choice than Hillary Clinton.
He's no better than Hillary. But stupid. His actions are aimed solely at improving their rankings. I am sure that he will not hesitate to strike on North Korea. Americans remember their inglorious part in the first war and waiting for revenge. Now America can do it easily. I think Trump will do it.

If your logic is correct, then I would say that Trump is much better than Hillary. You are claiming that Trump is talking about the war, just to improve his approval ratings. That is still better than Hillary, who would have dropped nukes by now, if she was the POTUS.

I dunno. Hillary is more beholden to the political machine; that is, she is an actual politician. You would have seen more of the same that happened under Obama. Plus, the onus of her starting a conflict (she is a hawk I guess?) would have been a huge deterrent for NK in the first place.
1324  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Foodlunch at us public school, another exposure of the demcrats hate on: May 02, 2017, 02:32:23 PM

In fact, in the end, rather than eating a meal with slightly too much sodium, kids simply stopped eating lunch altogether.  As the Washington Times pointed out back in 2014, over 1 million students stopped eating school lunch in the 2012-2013 school year alone.  Meanwhile, schools all around the country reported they were buying food that just ended up getting thrown away or fed to pigs at local farms because no one would eat it.

Those democrats hate us!!! Look at the obama, only gmo free food for them, no pacific / fukku trailed, 400k$ speech, never returned to chirak, and the fucking plebians unable to see througt the evdident lies (no need to tell about worldwide problems).

Sooner or later it will be us or them.

Edit: Trump should take his courage and ban all gmos / synthetic "food" in all the admin food court (army, public schools, admins canteens). This would help the real ag business. Keep the sodas, easy.

LMAO. Why are Democrats responsible for shitty school lunches?

Sit down and let me rap to you.

The lunch program began with propitious intentions. The federal government began to subsidize school lunches as a way to manage giant farm surpluses, while simultaneously supporting a suffering population. Since then, the school lunch program has become dominated by a few large food contractors designed to feed a population suffering from a lack of resources, without catering to its basic health needs. Without sufficient changes, this nutritional deficit will continue to contribute to childhood obesity and big businesses will continue to dominate distribution of goods.

Childhood nutrition is everything. Children that grow up eating shitty food tend to grow up into shitty adults. This is especially evident where I live, and extremely rural place with an ultra low population density. The people out here are poor as shit, and you can tell by looking at them. People look hungry. Or are fat. The youth don't even have that youthful glow.

Last time I checked, corporate interest were served by your party. TBH, it's Democrats too, but the GOP philosophy of 'trickle down economics caters 100% to corporate interest. It's understandable, most people over a certain income are Republican, at least fiscally.

Also, your rage is kind of inarticulate, I don't know what you particular beef is with this.

Trump will never challenge Monsanto. Fuck the deep state, if you want to get killed, fuck up.Monsanto's profits. I dare you.
1325  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump says he misses life before he became US president on: April 30, 2017, 02:57:52 AM
The worst thing he could say right now is that he doesn't like the job or that he preferred his life before this job.

This guy is the most controversial person ever to be a US President, and for him to hint at the fact that he's not really into it or that he wishes he hadn't been President is an insult to the entire country. This guy embarrasses the office and the Presidency weekly.

Yezzir.

This is something you keep to yourself, given the circumstances. This is akin to a pilot saying 'hope we get her down, this is tough!' while landing. Might be the truth, but dammit,  it doesn't make anyone feel any better.

Our president has zero chill.
1326  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: April 30, 2017, 12:41:17 AM
Alright.

Don't know if you consider these valid news sources. Start here:
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2017/03/28/trump-business-past-ties-russian-mobsters-organized-crime/98321252/

As stated before, I can't vet the news source, but I'm using sources generally accepted as legitimate by the greater public. The next one:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/fbi-russia-mafia-trump-tower-two-years-2016-presidential-election-us-money-laundering-alimzhan-a7642851.html

http://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/usa-trump-property/

And another source on the same topic:
http://www.inquisitr.com/4079311/trump-tower-was-wiretapped-by-fbi-during-obama-era-to-capture-russian-mob-boss/

More on Tokhtakhounov:
https://mobile.nytimes.com/2013/06/02/world/europe/tokhtakhounov-says-criminal-charges-are-just-a-misunderstanding.html

What I was referring to when I described  financial relationships with despotic regimes:
http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2017/03/13/donald-trumps-worst-deal

A politifact summation of a lot of what I was speaking on:
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2017/feb/22/all-possible-ties-between-trump-and-russia/

I'm avoiding more obviously partisan, left leaning outlets that are highly critical, like Vox, Mother Jones, RawStory, and Politico. I am also avoiding the Guardian and MSNBC for the sake of argument (they are also openly critical. Dont disagree with that, I'm just trying to be objective.

I will plainly say, the investigation is still in progress. I obviously don't know more than the men and women still actively involved in this ongoing investigation. But interesting, dammit, interesting.

Bit, is this sufficient? I'm being serious. I get you don't trust the msm, so it seems pointless to offer sources from the mainstream media, which is real to me, if you have an inherent distrust of all mainstream media sources.

It's alot to look up (these are things I have encountered in my readings, over time). About to bake and frost chocolate cupcakes, give me like 40 minutes or so, and I'll point out the lobbying l/corporate interest shit I was taking about.

1327  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: April 29, 2017, 04:12:36 PM
...
And the answer to why Trump flipped the script is 2 parts.  1) exotic botanical s.  2) N. Blackmail.

His entire countenance, demeanor have changed the last few weeks.  Some one told him who is really "boss"  and MAGA is on hold.  He does not look happy

It seems that way to me as well (though I can hardly stand to watch him any more) but wonder how much of that is a figment of my imagination.

I was hopeful that Trump was in a 'sweet spot' where he knew what he was up against and what he was going to need to do, but was also outside enough and careful enough to have no big-time dirt on him.  In retrospect I think that some of the indications of this were fabricated, and as someone who was quite desperate to not have Clinton I was prone to be hopeful.

It now looks to me as though Trump's cover was so deep that most of the media themselves were fooled.  To this day they are only coming to terms with their good fortunes.  This would explain why the fear and loathing for Trump on the part of the mainstream media was so palpable.  It really was real and they really were in a panic!

I considered the above possible (because it would be safer to keep the media in the dark lest they spill the beans) but unlikely because the differential between the skill level of the mainstream media hacks and those entities who were promoting the guy.  In retrospect I now realize what a powerful positive the negativity on the mainstream media front was on me, and probably a lot of people.

Another fairly brilliant trick was to induce the mainstream progressive sheeple into making a big deal about anti-Trump stuff which was blatantly trivial and absurd.  Easy enough to do and no surprise with modern methods and the idiots they are working with.  The trick was that I spent all of my time arguing against these nothingburger assertions and being frustrated at not talking about some of the larger issues.  Basically I (and I suspect a lot of others) spent the election tied up with pointless little nonsense while the important conceptual ideas gathered dust.

Yeah it is possible that those things happened.  Maybe it is True Trump took a large payout from Rothschild and had a perfect script written for him.  Along those lines a good question to ask ourselves might be when was the last time there were two evenly matched candidates?  I want to believe that Trump was the maverick outsider...but I must settle for he is human and not satanic.  That said, something changed several weeks ago...that cannot be denied.  So, while the MSM praised Ivanka, and while Trump supporters are being whipsawwed into supporting a war so that greenbitz can tell us how it is based on opinion polls, homogenized reporting and mass hypnosis passing as infotainment...we must remember that most things have been weaponized and the people willing to exploit Trumps weakness have known what they are for a long time... wait for it...   his family!  He trusts anyone in his family.  And Kushner and Bush (Kush) have known that for years.  Ivanka was very young when she met him...  if you go back and watch his 60 minutes interview he is drugged to the hilt with very subtle drugs that make the victim more agreeable.

I fell  behind in the thread, been busy a bit. My apologies.

tvb has it right. The media, in general, did a terrible job this particular election. I'm no fan of Trump, but priori the election,  the anti Trump media was too much. If Trump sneezed, it was an article on RawStory. Now, some of it was warranted. I get the pussy grab thing, I thought his chances were shot at that point. I'm still grappling intellectually with how old school, Reagan voting Rebuplicans could have helld their noses to click the switch, but I do get it. The alternative was simply unacceptable to some folks, I totally get that.

Now, I have less nefarious reasons for this. Profit. Where tvb, bit and I differ is attribution of intent. I see profit chasing from the corporations that control the media outlets, rather than an attempt to pay op the masses. I think the psy op happens, inadvertently, but the reason for the season is the money. America tuned in like it never tuned in before. And the media establishment profited. From CNN to Breitbart, people tuned in and clicked in to read the new hijinx everyday, multiple times a day, driving up those ad revenues to record levels for an election. Breitbart was selling fucking hats and shirts, if I recall. It engendered a wave of false patriotism that is saw in 2004 when Obama was elected. The fearmongering, which is really the most profitable industry here in the US, was on full display. Let me ask the community something, it took me a while to notice. When the last time you heard some shit about the Kaardashians? They uses to plaster those vapid bastards over the screen but constantly, they would be half of the clickbait. They would show up in my  general news feeds as well as my business and art feeds.

Whens the last time you heard some shit about Caitlyn?

Exactly.

Maybe it's just me, but everything took a back seat to the election and the subsequent 100 days. This is all they report on now, or tangential shit that pushes a particular political ideology.

Now, let me contrast that with the fact that this is the most "unpresidented' presidency so far, at least here.  There is indeed a lot to report on, on both sides, everything has been in rare form. But the obsession with Trump, it isn't like with Obama. Fox would shit on Obama, and constantly, but otherwise policy didn't make the news like it does today under Trump. People didn't give a fuck. Puff Daddy was dancing around in a cheap ass shirt telling us to 'Vote or Die'. It was Mad Max times.

But just like then, they were monetizing the voters. It's a cycle, really. Corporations and special interest groups make huge contributions to particular politicians and candidates, with the understanding that, if you make it, you will work towards making policy changes that benefit the master. This is the literal definition of politics nowadays. Ideology be damned. It cost money to be on TV, and you generally hope that someone doesn't come into the game with enough cash to fund themselves. They are probably corrupt.

And bit, I don't source anymore because I get tired of being told that a generally accepted news source is "fake". We are all intelligent, I simply need to point. If you need edification, search. That way, your opinions are your own. Due dullegencr is what I'm saying. Also, nothing changes if you don't believe me. I still have bills and shit.

Now, look at the hands that feed Trump. Or, if you perceive none, use my old trick, examine motivations through actions. The tax cuts, the health care,  the immigration policy, the war mongering (i never want to see a war, but, if yoy are goung to pull the thing out, plan to bang) they serve to increase profits in certain sectors dramatically over the next 4 years. Respectively, corps that have incorporated globally to reduce tax footprint, the insurance industry, the private corporations that run the prisons, and the military contractors that make hardware. Research yourself, examine the campaign contributions from these particular industries, and the interactions between lobbying arms or the corps, and Trumps people. It's very interesting. And when you you are done perusing that, look at how those companies are doing as we speak, vs the rest of the market. Again, quite interesting.

Also, see what you can find on Trump, Trump Towers,  and Russian investment, specifically from mafia figures. Nothing important, this is all in the past, but check it out when you can. It ties back into his claim of surveillance by Obama, and it's all very interesting.

Then look at Trump Towers, and some of the very questionable people that have invested in said properties. Oft, they come from despot govs, or are criminally affiliated in an old money/big way.

Which leads me to my final point, something to ponder. Have you considered the role of the drug cartels, the truly large ones, in the political lobbying process? If corps have learned they can buy their policies into being, what would a business do, with no governmental oversight? That's what I think happened here. Russian criminal families (the money is soo much more interesting the the 13 families), the criminal families from all over the globe, they are the new 'Illuminati'. Trump found a novel set of masters, ones we can't percieve so easily.

.....
Let me.cite a bit for the sake of ease:

December 2016 CIA report....

Problem is, you are not citing anything but the content of an alleged report. You are not citing the report. I'm not even sure it matters if you were.

Everyone's aware that the Demos have obsessively harped on the "Russian angle."

Everyone will agree that the Wikileaks releases, showing the true nature of Hillary and her criminal associates, influenced the election.

But nobody has to agree that the material was given to Wikileaks by the Russians. There does not seem to be evidence for that. You seem to think "someone said it says so in a CIA report" is evidence. It isn't.

I personally find Julian Assauge's story about where the material came from more believable.

Dude, wake the fuck up, man.

I cited Wikipedia, that was clearly stated.

And man, this shit isn't alleged, this is an intelligence report produced by your country. You can not accept the shit, but that does not make it go away. You are free to take the word of an enemy of the state over all intelligence agencies in your country, it speaks to your intellectual stubbornness. I'm not making this shit up. These are the unfortunate facts, I don't want to deal with this shit as much as you.

Remove your fingers from your ears, Spendulus.

Is the entire Intelligence community Democratic?/

I waited to see how this member reacted.. and now I have my answer.

Greenbitz, the cia report you cite has no credibility.. have you read it?  Did you know it was a repackaged report from several years ago when there was no election taking place?

It was redone with little change to serve a fake news purpose.  So yes our own intelligence agency is making and selling fake news and you bought it.

They can produce such fake news since the smith-bundt act was blocked when the NDAA was reauthorized in concert with executive orders domestically..

..obviously the deep state is pushing the US into a war and Trumps supporters do not want to go

We have some very smart people reading here so please consider posting primary and secondary sources only for review if you wish to be taken seriously.

Calling names and using social pressure tricks will only make you seem like a deep state shill.  And BTW the term "deep state" is not a term of endearment... never has been... thanks for playing!

A fan! I'm flattered, and I'd blush, but I'm too fucking dark.

I made allusion to multiple sources..Which, of the many, has no credibility? I didn't think anyone here would be 'intellectually resistant' enough to doubt official reports from multiple government agencies, on the same topic, which have all reached the same conclusion. And not pussy ass agencies like the EPA, I'm talking letter agencies that can make you dissappear.

So you are telling me the multiple reports by multiple agencies have no credibility, and are all based off of old evidence before the election? And if the aim is to see if they interfered in the election, would all the actions in question not have occurred before the election? So, they could, you know, influence it?

See, I don't believe in that deep state shit, at least as y'all do. Hell yes there are agencies that exist to supress public interest, secrecy is required for certain agencies to be able to do their jobs. They are no saints, however. But the idea of some monolithic shadow government controlled by intelligence agencies is some paranoid bullshit. That being the case, every branch of government would have its own version of 'the deep state' instead of just the enforcement arm. The 'deep state' is the military industry complex, it exists to make money and protect the state, in that order. They don't want to turn you gay with flouride, or whatever tin foil poppycock is being sold as news on Breitbart and InfoWars.

And the hilarious thing is, why would the 'deep state' have an issue with Trump? His policies would lead to the civil unrest that Hillary, Obama and Soros want. Can't move to  a police state if everyone is happy, you need strife to make the policy changes necessary. Kinda like the shitshow 45 has brought to bear.

I used to be into conspiracy theories more than you, I promise you. Then, I woke up.

Wake up.

Edit: Had a few fingers of an AMAZING bourbon, came up with 'Obama, Hillary, Soros and the Jews will form Voltron and take over the planet, ushering in a reign of terror'.

The visual of Big O and H Dog forming the head (I don't know what the fuck Soros looks like, from conservative descriptions, he should.look like Emperor Palpatine, I think) is fucking hilarious to me at the moment.

yes if the 19 agencies are all basing their conclusions upon an old report that shows nothing of substance then yes they are wrong.  And since you do not cite any specifics then I can only conclude that this is the report that you are mentioning..

It is an obvious attempt to demilitarize the sitting president which is a treasonous act.  So they do it in these backhanded ways.    And these forums are the incubator to see what the public will and will not accept.  Thanks for playing!

Well, it isn't quite so obvious for those of us that read the 'regular news'. It looks like Russia wanted him to win, and started a psy op /disinfo campaign to increase his chances to win. When you really on trusted, vetted news sources that have been around for decades like MSNBC, CNN, you get alot of information on Russia because this is the biggest shit since Watergate, just with Flynn's proven, known involvement at this point. We both know damned well 19 intelligence agencies didn't regurgitate that information; they don't even all have the same investigative capacities, as they all exist in distinct, separate spheres of influence.
Even if they did collaborate, so? If anything, the consensus by such a diverse group of actors should speak to the certainty of the conclusion. OUR ENTIRE INTELLIGENCE community.

So, the Air Force Intelligence, Army Intelligence, Central Intelligence Agency, Coast Guard Intelligence, Defense Intelligence Agency, Energy Department, Homeland Security Department, State Department, Treasury Department, Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Marine Corps Intelligence, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, National Reconnaissance Office, National Security Agency, Navy Intelligence and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence all decided to risk their reputations forever, to demilitarize the president? Who, in his ineptitude, has already given them (some) pretty much free reign to do as they see fit? Who has increased their budgets (some) by 30 percent? And duh, shit like the the NGIA didnt launch a complete, independant investigation; you collaborate with your peers, to save money and time (small government is good, no)?

Seems like Trump is the best thing that's happened to military spending since Bush. Why in the world would they want to undermine Trump? Recycled investigation be damned, even if it was, they felt the need to represent it again. I don't know how a foreign government hacking the emails of our political bodies sits with you, but it feels like an act of aggression to me. Not 'nothing of substance'. And nothing of this magnitude is done half ass, Russia didn't meddle just to play around. Would the CIA waste time playing with someone's election? Yes, if they wanted to influence it. Otherwise, why bother? Why waste effort to no effect? Are you telling me one of the foremost Intelligence agencies in the world paid hackers to dick around on email servers, for the LULZ?

Maybe they were looking for more Pizzagate evidence (kill yourself if you believe in Pizzagate).

And if anything, the IRS watches this forum. Especially the 'I'm going to protest taxes out loud' threads.

How far will you divorce reality, to defend your vote? I'm not saying that as an asshole, that's a legit question.
1329  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump is better than Obama? on: April 28, 2017, 11:57:02 AM
We can't compare Obama and Trump yet.
Obama was president 8 years and Trump is president only 100 days.
It's to early compare them.
Obama had many achievements and of course many mistake, as every president.
It's still to short time to say anything about Trump.
Trump changed a lot since when he became president and he is now more rational and more sensible.
If he continue this way, he may become a good president.
The time will show.
He currently has no concrete results to show.
The Obamacare did not pass, nor did the building of the wall against Mexico.

My feelings in summation. I don't agree with 45, but I didn't agree completely with 44. With that being said, I am willing to give the man a chance, it's his job now, and we will either sink or swim. I don't think it's going to go so swimmingly, but time will tell. I'm not so optimistic about him becoming a 'good president', he has built his platform on not being traditionally presidential. He thinks this is what the people want, that the seeming ineptitude is 'sticking it to the Establishment'. And unless he actually delivers on the wall, the tax cuts, and health care reform (all terrible ideas, save the last) he hasn't really done too much, IMO.

Give the people their meat, Donald.

Watch Get Out, it's a horror movie about race relations. If you are sensitive to race, I wouldn't suggest it, also if you are white amlnd feel some way about young black people, but otherwise, it is really, really fucking good. It's sci Fi horror on the slick, I don't want to spoil it for you. Lot of elements of psych drama/ horror as well. It's good dammit, just torrent it.

If you don't provide for those that need assistance when you have enough, not only are you a shit, but you open yourself up to having desperate folks come take your cookie.
Donating to charity should be an independent decision.

I wouldn't want to live in a society where citizens only pay taxes because they fear punishment.

Exactly, its not charity anymore, if you do XY out of fear of state. It is form of slavery then.

I have to assume to poster above is the snowflake, that need assistance all the time in his life. To the point he considers it his "human right" and feels entitled to it on basis, that he has a pulse. Question is, does that make him a piece of shit?

Yes, I'm a giant melting snowflake, ROFL. And hell yes I'm a shit piece. I wouldn't trust me as far as you could throw me.

See above response Wink :

Yes, it should. But this isn't charity. Taxes are subsidy for participating in society, and using infrastructure. Since failure to promote the general welfare could mean civil unrest, it is in the public interest, and hence, civic duty.

I've been using bitfinex to trade BTC, but with their current problems it doesn't look like i will be using them until issues are solved.

Can you recommend good exchanges which will not require answering 100 AML questions + submitting ID when trading BTC only?

Based on opinions found on reddit i EXCLUDE:
- Bitstamp
- Coinbase

I was considering Kraken but i've seen reddit thread where user had to verify themselfs to tier 3.. just to trade BTC.

Any other good exchanges? Btc-e?

Any transaction over 10k must be reported separately. It applies when you purchase big ticket items as well, sometimes. Even withdrawing that much will trigger the bank to ask you what the transaction is about.

There is probably a lower threshold as well; because of how Poloniex is set up, I suspect it's 2000. Any exchange you find that doesn't follow rules like this, is probably janky and risky to use.

If you don't provide for those that need assistance when you have enough, not only are you a shit, but you open yourself up to having desperate folks come take your cookie.
Donating to charity should be an independent decision.

I wouldn't want to live in a society where citizens only pay taxes because they fear punishment.
Yes, it should. But this isn't charity. Taxes are subsidy for participating in society, and using infrastructure. Since failure to promote the general welfare could mean civil unrest, it is in the public interest, and hence, civic duty.

1335  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is there any place I can find FinCEN AML/KYC requirements for a BTC trader? on: April 27, 2017, 01:07:00 AM
You are not going to like this answer.  Sad

I think you will need to first register as a MSB: https://www.fincen.gov/money-services-business-msb-registration

To transfer funds you will likely need to get a "Money transmitter" license in each state you will operate. I have read that in some states it could be as high as $25 million dollars.

A selection of AML forms and rules can be found here: http://www.finra.org/industry/aml

This page does a reasonable job of explaining the KYC requirements: http://www.exim.gov/policies/due-diligence-standards

He's right. It's a nightmare of paperwork and time, and unless you have very deep pockets, live in very specific States, or will have a funding round for your business, it's really, really expensive.

It will take months, you will need to hire a compliance officer and have a clearly stated procedure (for betting customers and reporting anomalies/suspicious activity).

Might want to consider setting up that exchange abroad Wink
1336  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do conservative worldwide oppose "drugs" legalization? on: April 27, 2017, 01:02:47 AM
Have you ever felt a gun pointed at your head by a trembling hand of some junkie? I'm not conservative I just felt the consequencies of drug addiction on myself. Of course people do terrible things without any drugs. But I believe that if any chemical substance has a negative psychopharmaceutical effect powerful enough to alternate one's personality to the point of posing a hazard to other people's and one's own life and wellbeing, it should be regulated by the law and healthcare standards. It is a personal choice to take drugs but a drug addict doesn't feel responsibility for his/her actions and it's not about education or personal morals - those terms don't exist when you need another fix.

The problem is, all substances don't affect all people the same way. And any substance can be addictive, and harmful as well. Seen plenty of people addicted to McDonalds, to the point of harm (poor health, not just weight but poor nutrition  outcomes. Becuase of this fee, would it be okay to deny the whole something that actually may help them? The fries are delicious, they never hurt anyone.

Oh, and plenty of people can point a gun at your head, you don't need drugs as a motive. Could be a crazy, a scorned lover, or a rival. People and guns and all that, you now the saying.
1337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: April 27, 2017, 12:55:32 AM
no chance. because bitcoin is like platina

Exactly, so long as they are not innovative and keep trying to be like Bitcoin I guess they still don't stand the chance yet to overthrow Bitcoin. I'm not saying it isn't possible but until they start doing things differently they will remain behind Bitcoin.

I wouldn't be so quiçk to go here. Altcoins have very specific functions nowadays, they arent just bitcoin clones with a different block reward and name. An alt can easily surpass bitcoin with enough 'official' behind it; if Microsoft outright made a coin, people would buy it up to the moon. Bitcoin is familiar, bitcoin is ubiquitous in the scene, but it will snt the only solution, not does there need to be only one Wink
1338  Other / Off-topic / Re: If an Angel 😇 Investor gave you 250K on: April 27, 2017, 12:48:19 AM
Did he gave me the 250k or invest 250k in me? Maybe if he invest invest in someone he didnt know probably non doubt he will be scammed by someone also when he invest in someone or invest in a company there also a chance of getting scam.
what a terrible answer, obviously this is asking what would you do if you had 250k for an investment and had to make a profitable good or service not would you take the money and run.

This is a great idea. I have, since I got on board, been looking for a place to buy real world securities with cryptos.
I don't even care about giving up my identity. Amazon was talking about a platform like this, but i haven't heard anything about it in a while. Bitcoin securities are suspect; having the certainty of a real security with the ease and instant (compared to ach) would be amazing.

Thus would take more than a quarter million, however. The compliance alone would cost that. This is more.like a 10 mil -20mil idea.

And if you ever get started on this, hit me up, I'm intrigued Wink

There are a few things to consider, Macron was pushed forward by the elite whereas Le Pen opposes a lot of it.  It all depends on whether the people can see through.  Of course Le Pen could always be a decoy.

When you say elite, who do you mean really? Mist politicians have wealthy sponsors whos agendas they push, neither candidate is an exception. I know with certainty LePen didn't fund her campaign out if pocket (in fact, she had some fundraising help from Trump's camp).

This the age of decrying big interest, while being in bed with it. At least, that's been the modus the last few elections.

Strange days people, strange days.
1340  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Anger in Asia over passenger forcibly removed from United Airlines flight on: April 27, 2017, 12:09:55 AM
What a shame. They must sued. It isn't acceptable.
I doubt that the court will help. Sure there is a procedure how to proceed in such cases. It happens. I think that just someone is using this case to embroil the Americans with the Chinese. Or maybe it's the struggle of airlines. In any case, I don't see the big problem with this incident.

?
??

You know they like,  broke this guy's nose and teetch removing him from a flight he paid for? They didn't have the legal standing to move him, but they did have the right. But the amount of force used  was unnecessary and callous, and on top of the myriad fuckups they have been having of late, this is the worst optics in the world.

Edit: I had to come back and talk about this, it's like a comedy bit. So, you beat a dudes ass for no good reason about a week after you harrass little kids for wearing leggings. Then, like 3 days later, a fucking scorpion falls out of the overhead storage and actually bites a passenger. It's like God has beef with United; they ate orphans or raped nuns in a past life. You can't make this shit up.

I'm waiting for a flight attendant or pilot to smoke crack in the cockpit on video; then I will be satisfied.
