Here is what I am talking about.  I agree with this Imam.  The other prick is typical aggressive, lying Islamist.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRPzkB5mr1U

Muslims need more people like IMAM TAWHIDI.

This other prick (Jamal Rifi) is just that.  Islamic Jihadists were killing non-believers way before Islamic State existed.

But what Abrahamic faith didn't kill non believers at some point in history, on a large scale? The Crusades invalidate a claim of peace for all the Abrahamics except Judaism, and the current state of Israel Palestine reflects quite poorly on the dominate culture group, which we can all agree are the Israelis. People tend to die when a majority decides it's time to, it's the unfortunate but the way shit works here.

Now that I have said that, is see another definition for politics; codifying opinions that aren't universally popular so that they stand the test of time.
1162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maximalism mentality. Does it still stands ? on: May 30, 2017, 03:58:29 PM
I am curious about what some bitcoin maximalists think;

1. Do you guys still believe the most secure chain by hashrate should be the only one ?
2. Do you  believe the most liquid chain should be the only one ?

I ask these questions because for weeks now ethereum is the most secure by hashrate and the most liquid chain in terms of volume. And most people said, usually bitcoin maximalists, that the most secure chain by hashrate and the most liquid one, aka biggest volume, is the only one that matters.

Nah. Bitcoin is king, and will be king, because of primacy. But a king doesn't exist in a vacuum; I mean there is plenty of space for other coins to exist without infringing on each other. I do think bitcoin can adapt to any function, but sometimes that adaptation is inefficient, compared to the alt coin it is trying to emulate.  Hashrate is meaningless. Liquidity is meaningless. These coin's value are due to utility. Ans that's an ever evolving thing.
1163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tomorrow 31th May (Japan time) will open internet giant GMO Btc trading platform on: May 30, 2017, 03:47:22 PM
I never expected japan to be so dedicated. When i heard them adopting bitcoin as a currency i was like ok fine we will see and little increase in price, but japan became a player it added bitcoin to more than 100k stores , made freakin multiple atm in the country and now it's opening the largest trading platform also. I wish it's neighbour china was also like this.

Japan was wise to jump on the crypto tech train. In the end it is one of few countries which actually invent tech, unlike China which only copies it.  Cheesy

Have it this way, many of the users may missed the early adoption train but that's not the case if you think country-wise.

Japan is the early adopter of bitcoin as a country. While China was banning its usage, Japan took a step forward and actually made it legal. So does Australia. As a result, these countries will benefit most from bitcoin.

Just like people who believed in bitcoin and endured anything for years.

Their interest concerns me however. The East is way more enthusiastic about crypto than the West, every time we get a new nation to invest, we bubble and pop. I loved the rally we.just had, it was timely for me, but I cant help but think the price isn't sustainable, growing this quickly. The chart looked like a goddamed ski slope before the price started pulling back. We have to be more responsible about our growth; I like profits as much as anyone else, but unsustainable growth is well, unsustainable.
1164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: May 30, 2017, 03:42:06 PM
ATMs and credit cards both have fees (I believe you are joking). It may have zero confirmation time but It's possible to chargeback and get scammed. Lightning Network should give us the ability to make micro-payments and without waiting for confirmations too. Banks control your money, you don't. I see no reason on why fiat is better than bitcoin.
I agree, we cannot consider atm or credit card as a reason of becoming a better money of cash that bitcoin because banking system is a part of atm and credit card which is literally not in to bitcoin. But if you are talking for faster transaction I can say that bitcoin can compete to the Atm andc credit card ability of bitcoin because there is an online/application wallet that have a card less transaction through bitcoin. And I also like that technology that supports bitcoin that makes its development to moved faster than cash.

I disagree. While I prefer bitcoin, the transaction fees are levied on the merchants for ACH, and are instantaneous. No doubt the fees are priced back into the products, but given the current state of fees and transaction speed on the bitcoin network, you are getting a more efficient deal with bitcoin. We need to scale people, the advantages of bitcoin to the traditional bankng syatem are slowly eroding as the network degrades in quality.

And I'm a maximalist, I guess.
1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best way to explain ICO to critics & potential investors on: May 30, 2017, 03:34:45 PM
No need to explain to the. All we need is to invest our money and earn the profit. When they see we have the money, they will ask us and learn more about the way we make money

LOL, and you might have some upset family members if your asset goes south, has a technical issue like slock.it, or is an outright scam, like the overwhelming majority of early cryptoassets. Educate those that ask to the best of your ability. It's your duty if you care about bitcoin. But at the end of your spiel, you must encourage them to do their own diligence. If they do, you will have two informed opinions on the matter, and you aren't as liable if an unknown thing makes everything go to shit. You cant predict the future, but you can educate yourself and other to hedge against catastrophe Wink
1166  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Duterte's promise to get rid of drugs 29 days left on: May 30, 2017, 03:22:18 PM
Duterte promise to the solve illegal drugs activity in 3-6 months. Can he fullfill his promise? Can he do it in this short period of time. I hope he will be successful at the end of the day. Life must go on. So live our life to the fullest. Its Philippines time so we can work together to change the Philippines for the better country.

Duterte cannot solve the drug problem in the Philippines within that span of time. Drug problems has been already rooted deeply in the society for how many years and there are many government officials and workers that are involve in it. The drug eradication can only be realized if those people in the government can be taken out. But President Duterte has made the streets more safer, even though he cannot eradicate drug problems in 100% but he has decreased the number of users and peddlers in a large scale.
W
I'm American. Our coffers allocated for fighting this problem are tremendous, bigger than the GDPs of some small nations, yet our opiod epidemic has only grown on the face of our increasing efforts to stems the tide of drugs, and educate users on the dangers of the drug, preventing addiction in the first place. Our enemy is the doctor, that prescribed these drugs becuase they got a bonus to do so, not understanding that their patients would be addicted to said substances after treatment. You can't kill this problem. It has to actually be fixed, and it's honestly a problem that is borne of the attitude of the populace, not the availability of drugs. Bored/sad people use hard drugs. Drugs cost money. Money isn't so free flowing nowadays. You need to be addicted to a substance to waste money supporting a habit. The Chinese triads are feeling your addictions; our government is subsidizing ours, through subsidy of the pharmaceutical industry.
1167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: May 30, 2017, 03:09:09 PM
Anyone bought drugs with bitcoin and what are you thought on the subject ?

i know i have used bitcoin to buy psilocybe cubensis thank you bitcoin i cold have not done this without you now i can trip watching corry & eastenders in the evening its such a sight.
No i don't buy drugs with bitcoin even a real money i never think or do to buy drugs because i know the bad effects if i use those kind of things. And i never heard about people who bought drugs using their bitcoins because you can only buy drugs if you pay them a real money.

You missed out on Silk Road
It was ' a thing' Wink

But seriously, it's full retard to purchase drugs with anything other than cash. Do you really want a record of your drug transaction, even anonymously, recorded on a block chain until the end of time?

Operational security is key Wink

For the record, drug dealers are aware of bitcoin, and computer savvy dealers have started using the protocol to store illicit funds. Trust me on this Wink I know a few dealers.
1168  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: May 25, 2017, 03:26:12 AM
Guys sorry for this question above but I would like to ask here that

What is the difference of Trading to Investing?

though I know that I can search it in google but I want an answer from those people who have already experienced this two.
Thank you.

I hope you can help me in my confusion..

To me, trading is investing with the intention of repeated repositioning to maximize profits over time. You buy and sell with the ultimate intention of acquiring as much of the asset as possible. Investing, on the other hand, is not about the amount of asset but the value of the asset. Put x in a thing, and with minimal supervision, its value should grow to y. A forex guy is a good example  of trading, he won't survive without huge positions, or repeatedly moving in and out. Someone investing however, in say bitcoin, would buy some coins, lock them up, wait, then come back, sell and collect profits. It's just my opinion, but investing, while the same concept, is much more passive than trading.
1169  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: May 25, 2017, 03:18:39 AM
In my point of view, you should buy bitcoin now because you or we can afford it. But as much as people knew bitcoin atnd they used it and embraced it in there daily living the cost of bitcoin may high because they know that people start using it for themselves. So, as long as you can purchased? Purchase as much as you can and as much as you can afford it.

Its good to buy now for soon it will grow high in value and we cant never tell if ee were able to buy it , besides its a good investment. And it guarantees growth.
Of course it will grow because we are steadily growing now despite of some little volatility the price manage to go up, I'm expecting we will end this year with a great price and investors will have a good Christmas as they have more than doubled their money, well I am one of them so I'm happy now.

I'm not so rosy. The last time a chart looked like this, was right before Gox. Gox undoubtedly did a lot to kill the price at that time, but the price stayed down forever after that. That was a bubble, and this looks the same. Sure, there are reasons that the price would surge (Japan, traditional market instability) but the amount of growth, like last time, is too much too quick. People are buying on hype again; notice the amount of newbies washing up nowadays. I hope I'm wrong, but I think people are going to get burned short term. If you didn't buy already, unless you are looking really, really long term, you may want to hang tight/ pay attention . this upward growth will stop eventually. It can't go up forever. But when it does, how bad will the correction be, at least temporarily, and will that be a superior buy given the current price? If you figure it out, share with us please sir Wink
1170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin job or manual labour in crack city? on: May 25, 2017, 03:10:01 AM
Crackheads have an obvious problem. Their drug isn't something you get to keep under wraps, you don't get to have a stealth crack habit. Same with meth. This makes them dangerous, but a known known. The guys on these forums are a much rougher lot. The drugs you want to be concerned about are the drugs that people can abuse on the slick. There is someone reading this post that just did a line, there are several more people reading this post taking some form of prescription opiod. The crackhead would be obvious enough to avoid, if you know what to look for. The covert drug users have alot of the same issues, you just won't see it coming. They understand the importance of maintaining the semblance of normalcy Wink known unknown. I say better the enemy you know than the one you don't, ID rather know who to look out for than get blindsided by a 'friend' or 'associate'.

TLDR; people suck generally; don't discriminate in your suspicion. Smiley
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving bitcoins on: May 25, 2017, 02:29:30 AM
Saving bitcoin will make you rich. the price of BTC today is increasing rapidly, the price of btc today are still cheap, if you want to become rich in the future save BTC today ! and hopefully theres a bank to save bitcoin.
yes that is right. bitcoin price is keep increasing, I think we should saving bitcoin rather than use it to purchasing something.

While there is wisdom in holding, if you have the patience to trade, you can make alot more than you would have by passively holding. Imagine the line of a chart as earning potential. The more volatility; the more the ups and downs on the line make it longer, making more earning potential. If you can exit and enter the line correctly, you will make a magnitude more than you would have just hodling. But that increased earning potential comes with increased risk; mess up on that line and you can lose value in a ruinous way.
1172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction confirmed within 20 minutes on: May 25, 2017, 02:22:21 AM
OK with all the posts about transactions fees and transaction holds etc .. thought I'd post my experience ..

I have just transferred 2 Bitcoin from my Kraken trading account to my blockchain wallet ... cost of transaction: 0.0005 bitcoin so actual coins received in wallet 1.9995 ... 4 confirmations received within 20 minutes (19 minutes to be exact)

Personally I was expecting maybe a day for the transaction to be completed lol (especially with all the scary posts on the forum) so 20 minutes was pleasantly surprising.

LOL, it's sad that we are celebrating 20 minute txns this day and age, maybe it's time to implement SegWit dammit .  But I am happy for you, this is rare occurrence nowadays Wink unless you want to pay ten percent on a ten dollar transaction.

He got lucky or krken placed a higher fee than 0.0005. Actually fees are not calculated by how much you transact, but how many inputs and outputs are there. Kraken, like other sites, asks their users to pay a fixed amount in fees and they will likely put a 150-250 sat/kb fee, which will be 1-5 blocks. Luckily you got in the 1 block.

My bad, wasn't insinuating that the fee was proportional, was pointing out an excessive fee is the only way to get the job done at the moment (ironically, in Mycelium, this recently resulted in a greater than a dollar fee an a roughly 10 dollar transaction. It was priority, but damn.)
1173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So finally it did was not difficult to dethrone bitcoin! on: May 25, 2017, 02:19:17 AM
The narrative built all these years was that bitcoin is immune to government intervention, to the extent that it will one day overthrow the state..

but ha ha ha

all it took was one small civil war between a  startup called block stream and a bitcoin early adopter and thats all....

its time for the community to save bitcoin to be on the top ever...

The amount of 'angst' for the state of bitcoin concerns me sometimes. The alt coin fan boys treat BTC like Voldemort sometimes, bitcoin was the first mover but doesn't have to be the only one. The different coins serve various functions; although you can argue bitcoin can do alot of it with development, the others already do it, and most of the time, more efficiently. There is a place for all the coins; what's important is overall investment in the crypto sphere. If we build it, they will come Wink
1174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is faster transaction Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: May 25, 2017, 02:12:00 AM
What is faster transaction Bitcoin or Ethereum ?

Dude, ETH is sooo much faster than BTC at the moment. You can read the forum if you have been living under a rock, concerning the state of the bitcoin network, but ETH always zips along at less than 5 minutes. When ETH was first introduced to exchanges, the wallets were slow about registering incoming transactions, but it's been ages since then, its all gravy now.

I've never gotten a single confirmation of a bitcoin network as fast as I have on Ethereum's. And I lurvs me some bitcoin.

To not seemed biased, LTC and Doge rock for fast confirms.
1175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: May 25, 2017, 02:02:40 AM
I think it is impossible to replace with conventional money, even the government alone is not possible to allow it.
Our governments can never allow this to happen that is why in some countries bitcoin has not be legalized because the see bitcoin
as a threat which can replace conventional money and lead to the collapse of the systems used to regulate cash flows.
to me when our people will put pressure on our government by using bitcoin in a large scale they will defiantly start thinking about bitcoin and will try to legalize bitcoin.
The fact is conventional money is much easier to regulate and is accessible to anyone unlike Bitcoin which limits everyone if you don't have the means to access the internet. I think that Bitcoin would rather stand, hand in hand, with the conventional money that will lead to economic growth and financial stability to its citizens especially those who use Bitcoin. Also Bitcoin would rather be use popularly in global field and online world as the major means of transactions which really is much probable than replacing the conventional money.

This is all my talking points in a nutshell. I don't think Satoshi ever wanted to replace fiat; the supreme understanding of money that created bitcoin would understand the necessity of fiat in a global economy. It's supposed to be an alternative damned near the opposite of fiat. Deregulated, decentralized, trustless and deflationary. They complement each other, and can strengthen each other when used in tandem, because they address the weaknesses of each other in their implementation (this was intentional).

Bitcoin is the yin to the yang of fiat Wink
1176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: May 25, 2017, 01:46:43 AM
I live in Ukraine, and frankly, none of my surroundings ever spoke or asked about Bitcoin. Well, except that my family)

Amen. I don't know where y'all live where people even know about btc, but people look at me like a Salem witch whenever I mention bitcoin. The few people that know I'm into it, know enough about it. The only time I hear about it really is my parents, they monitor the price because it's my thing, and comment on retiring early at my expense when bitcoin hits 10k.

Everyone's a comedian Wink
1177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leading Japanese ATM manufacturer Oki gets into Bitcoin ATM Business. on: May 25, 2017, 01:42:20 AM
The second wave! Its called a shake-out. Fasten you seat belts its about to get real.

I am legitimately geeked about this. Japanese society does not fuck around with automated vending technologies; not only can you get virtually anything from a vending machine in Japan (including some really questionable shit), the are ubiquitous and don't charge for the extra functionality they provide. If they enter the market, the fees will come down, and the bar for service/ features will raise. As a consumer, I definitely approve Wink

Who said globalization is bad? Wink

1179  Other / Politics & Society / Re: OBAMA was the best President in the world on: May 25, 2017, 01:34:39 AM
Obama was a good President, but not the best. He's really smart and bloodthirsty, but his pacifism led to the fact that America has lost respect. Respect only the strong. After Obama Trump looks stupid clown.

We weren't as pacifist as people think under Obama. One of my biggest critiques of Obama is his foreign policy; when we weren't catering to nations that we should have been sterner with, we were drone bombing the dog shit out of folks, back when we weren't such cool hands at it. We did a lot of collateral damage, while we did get the bad guys, we made a LOT of mistakes that we didn't accept responsibility for. This is part of the reason for Arab aggression/rhetoric against us, we killed a lot of innocents while seeking our justice.  We also deported a shit ton of illegals, for those that would start the 'soft on crime' argument. He wasn't a saint. But I agree with his choices, for the most part, especially domestically. Not all, certainly. But enough.
1180  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump is better than Obama? on: May 25, 2017, 01:24:44 AM
I don't agree on this point. Only for 3 or more months is not enough to compare with Obama. He worked 8 years as a American President. On the other hand, Trump passed only 3 months so it is not high time to compare Trump with Obama.

Trump has done more in 3 months than Obama in 96 months.

How? You yourself have pointed out the extreme adversity that Trump suffers at the hands of the rest of government, particularly the judicial branch. In such a hostile environment, how in the blue fuck (I've been itching to say that) could he even begin to launch his ill conceived policy? The best thing Trump has done for your party is get a Justice seated, due to Rebuplican assholery this was certainly beyond Obama. Healthcare repeal is DOA, CBO just scored that shit pretty much the same as the last version of the bill. Tax cuts won't fly becuase he won't be there long enough to institute them. And his budget, which hurts his own voting base, won't look anything like that once Congress gets ahold of it. Individual state politicians, bith sides, aren't going to like major defunding of programs their citizens use, they won't get relected and the state will foot the difference one way or another.

Trump did more on the Apprentice, than he has his first 100 days.

He should have stayed there.
