I rarely get to add anything of substance to a sticky post. Feels good, man Smiley

the SEC just issued guidance on the legal state of ICOs and token sales:
https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2017-131

some highlights:

Quote
The SEC's Report of Investigation found that tokens offered and sold by a "virtual" organization known as "The DAO" were securities and therefore subject to the federal securities laws. The Report confirms that issuers of distributed ledger or blockchain technology-based securities must register offers and sales of such securities unless a valid exemption applies. Those participating in unregistered offerings also may be liable for violations of the securities laws. Additionally, securities exchanges providing for trading in these securities must register unless they are exempt. The purpose of the registration provisions of the federal securities laws is to ensure that investors are sold investments that include all the proper disclosures and are subject to regulatory scrutiny for investors' protection.

Quote
"The innovative technology behind these virtual transactions does not exempt securities offerings and trading platforms from the regulatory framework designed to protect investors and the integrity of the markets," said Stephanie Avakian, Co-Director of the SEC's Enforcement Division.

Quote
In light of the facts and circumstances, the agency has decided not to bring charges in this instance, or make findings of violations in the Report, but rather to caution the industry and market participants:  the federal securities laws apply to those who offer and sell securities in the United States, regardless whether the issuing entity is a traditional company or a decentralized autonomous organization, regardless whether those securities are purchased using U.S. dollars or virtual currencies, and regardless whether they are distributed in certificated form or through distributed ledger technology.

so, expect US based ICOs to shutter, its not safe to do this without registering anymore, and it takes a few months, if not years, to do so.also, you may see exchanges stop offering these securities unless they go into compliance. this will greatly enhance the quality of these offerings however, they simply wont be able to pull that anon team bullshit, or perpetrate outright scams. the laws is watching now Cheesy

I wonder how this will fair for ICO that are in between their pre offerings and live ICOs, as well as those that are due to start in the next few weeks, that are US based or offering to US investors.

Expect participation to close for US citizens. And prepare accordingly Wink

Marriage is not a binding agreement anylonger. The agreement used to be to stick together through all, "in sickness and in health, through good time and bad, for richer and poorer, to love, honor and obey; until death do they part."

It's no longer that binding agreement. It has transformed into a juicy deal for women and a shitty deal for men. Men have absolutely no benefits from marriage anymore. Legal state-sanctioned marriage is a loaded gun pointed at every mans head... all the wife needs is the whimsy and emotion to pull the trigger, and they routinely pull those triggers at rated exponential to those of men to take everything he has every worked for and love away from him to benefit the State and women.

You sound like you believe that men solely exist to give women money and whatever else they want and to serve their every need and desire regardless of his own. I am correcting the fallacy.

You sound like you believe that women are nothing but "pussy" that men pay for. Enough said.

its an odd vibe on this forum toward females Sad ill say that and move on...

Hi guys
I am a foreigner living in Berlin. I married a German person who did really evil to me and now I need help. Before we left my country I gave him money and he bought 10 bitcoins for me. He said I should keep it for the future.
Time passed and after 11 months after the marriage he asked for the divorce. By that time I was still unamployed learning the language. He left the house one month later saying he would still pay the rent and assist me. I continue trying to look for a job. He was oblyged by law to give me the assistance for that I still havent the job to pay my bills.
What he did: stopped paying the rent and the bills and did not let me know, only comunicate dmy lawyers when I had a debt of almost 2.000 euros. He hid his income and give me an assitance of something like 400 euros. What I earn makes 500 euros. He doesnt want to help anymore, I have the rent, all the bills to pay, and I am trying to find a roomate asap.
I am thinking of sueing him, but he says he shouldnt even be helping me in the first place because I have 10 bitcoins that now might count like 10.000 euros and I should just use them.
But I didnt made this investiment for this. I never made a trade (Im a Holder) so I would like to know what to do in this case. Can my bitcoins count against me?
Thank you

convert your bitcoin to fiat, if you are going to be living off of your coin, better to escape the volatility. you wont be able to make long term budgetary plans with bitcoin given how the price changes, and you arent a trader or speculator. convert the value to something you can use.

go to your embassy, if you can, and tell them how your situation has changed. someone should assist you, or point you in the right direction.

Bring down your expenses to an absolute minimum. you dont know how long you need to last with no income til you land a job Wink

and finally, take a deep breath Cheesy you are gonna be cool, just be smart. you have a basis of savings; if you play this right you can win this game.

Good luck and God bless!
843  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: ICO ban for the US citizens on: July 25, 2017, 11:12:17 PM
US regulators act from an excess of caution, primarily as a result of the anti-money laundering regime that was instituted after 9/11. Of course, there are some legitimate concerns that anonymous money can be used for destructive purposes -- there is no debate about that. However, blockchain and programmable money are a fundamentally new technology, in which the states may fall behind. During the internet bubble, USA was quick to embrace the change. For blockchain, it seems that the American adoption of this new technology is somewhat impeded by a legal system that is designed for security above all else, which is regrettable, but also an opportunity for non-US startups to assume leadership.

It is not just the regulators who are extra cautious. It is the fund raisers who don't want to get entangled with the US regulators and incur high compliance costs. I don't blame them - there are enough people in other countries who are ready to subscribe to ICOs.

You are right. Rather than face legal challenge later on, why not just concentrate on markets aside from USA. There are indeed enough investors outside of USA, who can launch and fund a project. Unless of course, SEC would soon issue a legal framework to work with, then it is not worth including USA in any ICO issuance. The government of USA is very much protective of its own citizens and that is something we all understand, anyway.

well, that was fun while it lasted Sad

Quote from: CryptoCoinNews
If you thought a lot of ICOs were limiting US participation due to zealous regulators already, wait until you read the following: SEC has concluded that DAO tokens are a “security,” which should be regulated. The report spends a lot of time establishing that the DAO was in fact a centralized organization, describing actions that run parallel to those of any struggling start-up which has actual control over its resources.

The issue of whether the DAO had sole discretion or full control is important because it then implies responsibility for investor losses as a result of security malfunctions. Legally, it opened up a can of worms, which is why the SEC commissioned the report in the first place. The authors appear to be intimately familiar with blockchain technology, which is refreshing and scary at the same time.

"Whether or not a particular transaction involves the offer and sale of a security—regardless of the terminology used—will depend on the facts and circumstances, including the economic realities of the transaction. Those who offer and sell securities in the United States must comply with the federal securities laws, including the requirement to register with the Commission or to qualify for an exemption from the registration requirements of the federal securities laws. The registration requirements are designed to provide investors with procedural protections and material information necessary to make informed investment decisions."

This is why some ICOs are more selective than others, and this should have a chilling effect on yet to drop US-based ICOs. They arent charging the Slock.it DAO with securities fraud in this instance, as this is groundbreaking legal territory, but this is a clear message: Token that offer security-like benefits are securities, and you must be regulated and compliant, or we will arrest you Sad

Be careful with the tokens from now on. this also means:

ICOs will need to register with the SEC as securities, and;

Exchanges will need to register as stock exchanges to trade securities.

844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any mixing services siezed / shut down by law enforcement? on: July 25, 2017, 04:26:24 PM
so if they close down and sieze any mixers, you just use an exchange. or, go to a btc gambling site and do low bets for awhile.
BTC gambling sites are barely legal as it is, especially in the US.

As for exchanges, the ones that deal with fiat are already subject to KYC/AML regulations, sometimes to the extent of doing long questionnaires about the purpose of the funds that you're trading there (Bitstamp does these sometimes).  Altcoin exchanges could be just one step behind - Bittrex already has a withdrawal limit of 1 BTC equivalent for unverified accounts per day.

If mixing sites closed down there would still be ways to stay private, but the careless and less knowledgeable might get caught.

I also doubt that Bitmixer was under direct threat from authorities but they could feel that they should shut down before it gets too serious.

according to current aml/kyc law, that they accept deposits from users and hold them for any amount of time, they would be subject to identifying the customer over x funds. also, mixing coins is the definition of money laundering from a legal standpoint. imagine if someone could trade dye stained bank robbery bills for fresh, clean bank notes. that is essentially what this is, just programatically. i think, given the current legal climate (Sessions is cracking down hard on the darkwebz), BitMxer is making a timely exit, before the SHTF. To b honest, pretty sure a lot of darkweb vendors and customers us that service; he might be distancing himself from the whole shebang.

Notice the timing of this, and the recent darkweb shuttering by law enforcement. its not a coincidence. but, we dont know for certain how they are related, we are just conjecturing Wink

at the very least, thank you BitMixer for a very useful service, we appreciate your contribution to the sphere. Additionally, thank you for your signature campaign, I do not know how much money you have given me over all this time Wink its a grip, and we appreciate it. shouts out to Laura too for holding down a solid campaign, she was fair as fuck. No complaints.
845  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mark Zuckerberg: Free Money for Everyone on: July 24, 2017, 04:39:40 PM
we do have social assistance nowadays, but Clinton killed the shit out welfare;

https://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2016/04/the-end-of-welfare-as-we-know-it/476322/

I regard Bill Clinton as a criminal, rapist and a pervert. But what he did with the welfare was the right thing. Read that article carefully. He formulated a new rule, which stated that individuals could not receive more than five years of welfare in their life time. Is there anything wrong with that? Welfare is a temporary measure. You can't expect the tax payers to fund you for the rest of your life.

in some cases, 5 years legitimately isnt enough. we are forgetting those that are sick, are caregivers because they cant afford healthcare for a non contributing household participants, or those that are unable to work because of extreme trauma and require psycholgical help. also, the job market isnt healthy across the entire US; there are some places where you can indeed land a job, but it will not be enough to live without government assistance. in fact, this is the case of a majority of Walmart employees in low income areas:

Quote
Walmart's low-wage workers cost U.S. taxpayers an estimated $6.2 billion in public assistance including food stamps, Medicaid and subsidized housing, according to a report published to coincide with Tax Day, April 15.

Americans for Tax Fairness, a coalition of 400 national and state-level progressive groups, made this estimate using data from a 2013 study by Democratic Staff of the U.S. Committee on Education and the Workforce.

"The study estimated the cost to Wisconsin’s taxpayers of Walmart’s low wages and benefits, which often force workers to rely on various public assistance programs," reads the report, available in full here.

"It found that a single Walmart Supercenter cost taxpayers between $904,542 and $1.75 million per year, or between $3,015 and $5,815 on average for each of 300 workers."

Americans for Tax Fairness then took the mid-point of that range ($4,415) and multiplied it by Walmart’s approximately 1.4 million workers to come up with an estimate of the overall taxpayers' bill for the Bentonville, Ark.-based big box giant's staffers.

The report provides a state-by-state breakdown of these figures, as well as some context on the other side of the coin: Walmart's huge share of the nationwide SNAP, or food stamp, market.

"Walmart told analysts last year that the company has captured 18 percent of the SNAP market," it reads. "Using that figure, we estimate that the company accounted for $13.5 billion out of $76 billion in food stamp sales in 2013."

18 percent of people on snap, work at Walmart  Shocked why are we allowing Walmart to avoid taxes, and underpay its workers so that we have to pick up the remainder with taxes?

why punish the people, when we can punish a corporation that doesnt pull its fair share? seems like the social policies/legislature in place have caused this problem, not the atttude of the people. I feel a similar way about the opiod epidemic; not so much that people are weak willed, its more that the pharma industry has been agressively marketing this shit to doctors, for bonuses, who in turn overprescribe it to citizens, for additional bonuses.

the shareholder will see us all crash and burn. and fuck communism, im a born and bred capitalist. but shareholders have more rights than citizens in this country, and this is an effect of that. it is illegal for a company not to act in the best interests of the shareholders. fuck the citizens, just the shareholders matter here. it shows Wink

and we are forgetting about the disabled. disability is permanent once bestowed, and the amount of benefits they get is off the fucking chain. not really mad at that, they cant participate in society normally, and as a tax payer, I pay for a whole bunch of shit I dont agree with. its part of living in a democracy Wink so I wont bitch about helping folks, when the other half of my tax dollars goes to killing folks in the name of national defense (the police, military). I even pay the guys that pull me over to give me tickets Smiley

and Daddy Clinton can eat a dick. to hell with the man (his actions brought shame upon the office as well), his policies are some of the most Rebuplican you will get from the 'left'. most liberals/moderates wont claim him, ideologically. you will have to look far for someone as motivated to degrade social welfare, and implement tougher policing policies in the name of public safety (these legislative objectives rest squarely in the Republican portfolio).
846  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 54yo woman attacked by somali migrant for walking her dogs on: July 24, 2017, 03:52:44 PM
Funny to read these stories coming out of Eurabia. These people "welcomed" the rapefugees. Now let them enjoy the "benefits" of multi-culturalism. BTW... Somalis are the worst of these unwashed hordes. They are even worse than the Arabs.
Yeah they are listened to the dictator Angela Merkel and opened their gates for them because a child  was dead on the beach, and now these people are killing other people children in their own homes, stabbing and running them down with cars. These same people criticized Trump when he said they shouldn't be let in and now they are crying foul when they are attacked by the very people they welcomed into their homes.

Germans are totally brainwashed. Ms merkel dispose of a waste a powerfull propaganda system. There is no infowars, zerohedge, or functionning financial market in merkelistan. She is from the same camp as hillary... behind her little smile their is a very dangerous predator.

Developping immunity against such  viciousness is a critical skill. They pretend to have the moral high ground, not to shine on it, but to prepare to fuck you as never before.

Are plants legal in germany? Answer no. Any historical justificstion? No. Answer they are barbarians. Personnally i think merkel is just a puppet of the democrats wing. Loot, corruption, scam and sexual exploitation.

so, what would be the benefit of a cultural group moving into an non normative biome, to "outbreed" the civilization in place? and could you historically provide an example when this may have happened? we were brought here (blacks), but yet we have still not managed to outbreed white folks over the last century or so. 1-5 ratio over a century. Muslims would have to be having twins/triplets/quads to outstripe a ratio that is probably lower for them. and thats the US. not many colored folk except immigrants over there (EU).

not attacking you. just trying to understand white genocide. yall actually believe in this, i dont get it however. you know you have the majority, you can like, fuck more and have more children. problem solved, and no annoying dark skinned bastards running around breathing up your air. The evils of multiculturalism; how dare we associate with someone other than ourselves? we might learn something, the horror.

and goddammit; please understand that all liberal/moderates/conservatives dont have the same platform. i love all of youse guyz, but how would yall like it if i put BD, Masha, and actor_tom in the same ideological basket? all conservatives, but completely different platforms; it wouldnt be fair. understand you cant generalize behaviors to the followers of the party, only the actual politicians that represent the party as only they are instrumental in the formation of legislature. everyone is an island.

and I have to ask; they like literally believe reptilian aliens are amongs us at infowars. i have this folk song thats making fun of alex jones talking about people harvesting babies for parts to eat, and reptiles, and hillary and obama smelling like sulfur for some reason. maybe im a godddamned fool, but doesnt this shit sound ridiculous to you (the you is an infowars reader)? fucking reptile alien people harvesting babies? how can you take a source like that for anything other than entertainment?  Huh

and how much do you distrust reality, to ingest stuff like this? Breitbart is partisan, its fine. but IW is fucking bedlam; pure conjecture of crazy conspiracies that are actually absurd.

Thank you for your comments!

In respect to the white genocide, there is a fundamental difference between ethnicity and religion. It's impossible to convert or be come african descent. It sound evident, but anyone can become muslim.

Then specifically refered to the us, i don't have a problem with afroamerican. Born and raise. However there is too like in europe this massive legal and illegal invasion. What the fuck those guys have to invade the usa from africa... and bring their shit with them (fmgs, islam, irrespect for the rule of law). I am no fan.

Then about europe the problem of those supported waves are many fold

1. Demographic explosion, they breed like rabbits, exhaust all ressources and like locusts move to survive. Why shall the cost and problems be supported by native westerners?

2.  The second aspect specifically of islam is polygamy coupled with cronyism. As the looters get it all, they get more women. As such creating imbalances...

So what do the pushers have to win? I think there are the braindead manipulated whose identity has become open borders. They don't care if most of africa and the middle east is off limit to them due to insecurity or outright hostility. Key word reciprocity. But why shall any sane person want to go in lawlessness and outright barbary?

For those who support those ideologies it's more i think about creating the kalgeri plan, a mass of disfranchised, ravaged by incivility population that will be easier to merge in a global technocratic super state to loot the world.

Practically it can be seen in most places with the white flight concept... whose parents want her child to be the last native in a class room? Then the home owners? Who want to the last?

You want to speak about genetic conquest by displacing or replacing the native population?

Or you can think of the fall of constantinopole, the fall of jerusalem or the full removal of all jews from the middle east and africa... how many jews per capita in saudi arabia at the death of muhamad?

So yes it's a very common occurence.

Now about zerohedge? Any comments? Would be nice to know your opinion?

Concerning inforwars, please show me where they have been wrong? I know on which subject they have lagged: bitcoin. For the rest they have always been proved right... the problem is that recently i am less fan of how the show evolved... i really like the guest they get and subject earlier... from going to california checking radioactivity to beaches, or inquiring in wind turbines infrasound, or more understand globalists. But maybe it's becsuse the clip edited to youtube are too few and too mainstream.

I personnally like to hear about thing i never heard, like the lezard shapeshifter, or harvesting human suffering energy... what ever. For example, yes the baby, some do foetal blood injection, other use the tissues... who knows. The problem is that all the msm follow lackey like their paymasters. Never ask questions.

Then indisagree, most liberal are under mind control. Their identity has merged with the belief implanted upon them. Of course conservative will have a way more diverse horizon: from the bible uberalles, the gun is my life and the real constitutionalists who understand that the pursuit of happyness requires liberty, speech and weapons to defend it all.

I hope you understand better white genocide.

Look at moskow, those stans people, they are everywhere... how many moskovites in the stans?

Thank you for fielding my reply intelligently, I appreciate your response Smiley My apologies for not responding yesterday, I was a bit busy with RL.

I will try to address your points in order to avoid confusion.

1) I totally agree with you. I cannot give you an answer that wouldnt be disgenuine; citizens are totally justified if they dont want to provide material support to non citizens that have not been invited. I am of the mind that despite the bad apples of the bunch, which are indeed numerous, we must remember that these people have left their homes to flee a lethal/oppressive situation. I cannot deny a person aid in a time of crisis; esp the monolithic issues that haunt the governments most likely to dispense immigrants, mainly, African majority Muslim cultures. It is open civil war in parts; if we can help a few kids, a few moms, even a few dads that want to have a better life, I cant prevent that. My religion doesnt let me unfortunately, I must have compassion for all those that suffer Sad

with that being said, if they fuck up, jail/ treat them like any other citizen. no taxation with out representation is twofold; if you are represented, you are beholden as you are participating in society with demonstrable benefits.

2) this is a feature of most orthodox forms of religion, we have it too in Christianity. not violent like some Orthodox Muslims, but the same impetus to overbreed, and extreme fealty to the ingroup. check it out:

Quote from: Wikipedia
Quiverfull is a movement among some conservative fundamentalist Christian couples, chiefly in the United States, but there are some adherents in Canada,[1] Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and elsewhere.[2] The movement sees children as a blessing from God[2][3][4] and it encourages procreation, abstaining from all forms of birth control, (including natural family planning) and sterilization.[5][6] Adherents are known as quiver full, full quiver, quiverfull-minded, or simply QF Christians. Some have referred to the Quiverfull position as Providentialism,[7] while other sources have simply referred to it as a manifestation of natalism.[8][9] One 2006 estimate put the number of families subscribing to this philosophy as in "the thousands to low tens of thousands".[5]

this is the most popular form of CHristianity atm, in the US (looking for a more recent poll, but this will illustrate my point:

Quote
A 2004 Pew survey identified Evangelicals as 26.3 percent of the population, while Catholics make up 22 percent and mainline Protestants make up 16 percent.

if you watch what we call entertainment over here, you may have seen an example of the quiverfull attitude:

I am an evangelical as well; of the Southern Baptist Convention. We dont ascribe to the quiverfull thing so much.

Quote
In respect to the white genocide, there is a fundamental difference between ethnicity and religion. It's impossible to convert or be come african descent. It sound evident, but anyone can become muslim.

I cannot become White. But I can choose my religion. That is, there is full reciprocity.

Quote
In his book «Praktischer Idealismus», Kalergi explains that the citizens of the future “United States of Europe” will not be the people of the Old Continent, but a new mixed breed, the products of thorough and widespread miscegenation. He states that the peoples of Europe should interbreed with Asians and other non-White races, to create a multiracial population, with not clear sense of tradition or identity and therefore easily controlled by the ruling elite.

Kalergi proclaims the need to abolish the right of nations to self-determination and outlines the break-up of nation states through the use of ethnic separatist movements and the destruction of the nations themselves through mass migration. In order for Europe to be easily controlled by the future elite, Kalergi proposes the creation of a homogeneous mixed breed population

this was new to me, thank you for this. also got into some white supremicist writings that were interesting while researching this.

this actually seems like it would work, LOL. but a few questions in practical implementation:

1) US foreign policy engineered many of the situations that have necessitated refugee flight.

2) this seems like a very low number of "seed genetics", the refugee population vs the native population. how would they proliferate, especially practice misogyny, given the attitudes about their presence?

3) cant this plan be mitigated completely, simply by spreading the refugees out, instead of packing them all in one area like sardines? Id rather pay a little bit more and reduce crime, rather than pay and have my good deeds punished. Would be hard to establish meaningful genetic share in that area, the invading genetic group is too dispersed.

give me a second to take lunch, starving. didnt address all your points but feel free to respond; when I get back from chores/lunch I will finish up responding to your rebuttal, and address my concerns with IW. Have to investigate zerohedge before I reply, I used to read them regularly years ago. suffice to say they have changed quite a bit, wouldnt you agree? Cheesy

thanks again for your response man, I love a good, well written argument. You get a cookie today Wink

I recently tried Liqui and I have to say you made a great exchange site. It's not freezing like Poloniex, it's very easy to use. Thank you for all your work. I hope all markets have better volume in the future. This is the only needed thing to grow your site. More volume = more users = more money for you and better trading for users.

Looking good. It's a interesting and useful project.

Good luck for us.

Thank you!

yeah, it works fine, but if you need support, you may be shit out of luck. they dont even touch the tickets; says 24 hour turnaround time on the support literature, Im going on:

Being Processed since 11 days 16 hours

investbox is cool and all Smiley but if you have an error, you may be waiting a half a month to get help. im the third person on the thread recently with a ticket response over a week; expect a week at least before you hear from anybody.

We have welfare programs. That is free money. Zuck was probably simply expressing some political things to get us used to free money idea. Free money in welfare is here right now.

The fact that there is inflation shows us that all money goes, eventually, to the bankers... until they buy up and own everything that exists.

Cool

we do have social assistance nowadays, but Clinton killed the shit out welfare;

https://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2016/04/the-end-of-welfare-as-we-know-it/476322/

Quote
By the numbers, welfare reform was a success.

More than 13 million people received cash assistance from the government in 1995, before the law was passed. Today, just 3 million do.

“Simply put, welfare reform worked because we all worked together,” Bill Clinton, who signed into law welfare reform, or the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996, wrote in an op-ed in The New York Times in 2006. Clinton had campaigned on a pledge to “end welfare as we know it” and today it is all too apparent that he succeeded.

The law replaced AFDC (Aid to Families with Dependent Children) with TANF (Temporary Aid to Needy Families—“temporary” being the key word). It stipulated that people could receive no more than five years of government benefits in a lifetime, though states could set their limits lower and many did, with some instituting a two-year lifetime limit. It required a certain percentage of welfare recipients in states to be working, and said that those who couldn’t find jobs would have to participate in community service or get vocational training. Those who didn’t work or volunteer would eventually be kicked off the welfare rolls.

5 years max. work requirements for many states, even drug testing. and all so some people can feed their kids.

i dont get how most Christians can pay tides and offerings, but balk at serving the beatitudes:

The eight Beatitudes in Matthew 5:3–12 during the Sermon on the Mount.[4][5]

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 5:3)
Blessed are those who mourn: for they will be comforted. (5:4)
Blessed are the meek: for they will inherit the earth. (5:5)
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness: for they will be filled. (5:6)
Blessed are the merciful: for they will be shown mercy. (5:7)
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they will see God. (5:Cool
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they will be called children of God. (5:9)
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (5:10)
Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. .5:11-12

Psalm 146:9

9 The LORD watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.

Deuteronomy 14:28-29

28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns, 29 so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

i have many more of these:

"Do not take advantage of a widow or an orphan." Exodus 22:22

850  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Teenagers high on weed lets guy drown to death and laughs about it on video on: July 23, 2017, 01:43:51 PM
If you blame the drugs, you give these guys a free pass on their behavior.

I can assure you, it has nothing to do with marijuana and everything to do with their upbringing.

Absolutely, it has nothing to do with these guys being high or drunk. Blame their upbringing which failed to make them humans. We see such instances daily, road accidents, we see and just walk away thinking why should we when that person is no one to us, why should we, let someone else step in, why should we get involved in any legal issues, lack of humanity. The same thing here, but much worse since apart from these retards there were no other people around who could have helped a disabled drowning man and on top of that these lunatics are mocking and enjoying a human getting drowned, pathetic, lack of absolute humanity, no value for human life.

its the kids these days, and Im saying that as a 32 year old, LOL. This would have been too intriguing to pass up on; any kid worth his salt would have been excited just to help with something like this; things like this dont happen everyday. and dont blame this on pot. Im high as a kite right now; my moral and ethical facilities are completely non affected. Any decent human worth his salt would at least have gotten off their ass and walked over to the side of the lake the guy was on, if not to get a better vantage. These are shit humans, nothing more, nothing less.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Exchange] Liqui - trade and earn 24 APR on BTC, ETH on: July 22, 2017, 05:33:22 PM
Hello Liqui Cheesy

Sorry to disturb you on this thread, Ive just had such much trouble contacting you through ticket, telegram and direct pm about a week ago that I thought this might be my best chance to garner your attention Wink

I have a ticket thats been going on 9 days at this point, no touches. I made a mistake and sent ETH to the wrong address: my ADX ERC token address; this is clearly my fault, but a response by your team would do a lot to make your customer feel better. you can look at the ticket, its number 4175

I basically want to know, will you keep the 1.5 ETH because I made a mistake, or are you going to return the eth to me, either via crediting the account balance, or sending a refund transaction (I can provide an address as I have stated in the ticket)? I can see the eth still sitting at the address I sent it to; it hasnt been forwarded to the hotwallet yet. would be greatly appreciated if a support can pop into the wallet (because we know you have the keys to your ETH wallets, right?) and manually move it. a few keystrokes would save me hundreds of dollars; surely you would do that for a customer and a member of the community Wink

Do right by me Smiley Your consideration is appreciated in advance. I will delete my thread upon resolution, so as not to impugn your reputation.

Green

btw, as I type this, we are at:

Being Processed since 9 days 19 hours

also, I would be willing to pay a fee for you to retrieve my funds, in case this is something you dont do that often.
852  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Payment on Hansa on: July 22, 2017, 04:51:34 PM
Hello,
With the Hansa market place being taken down I was wondering what would happen to Bitcoins that were being processed for an order.  Is there a way to look and see if the Bitcoins were received and if not how can you get them back.  Thanks in advance and have a great day.

If I am not mistaken, its the marketplace which would operate in the darknet you are talking of. Well the cops have seized the business and I am afraid you will find it hard to get your money back. If there is any way to contact the seller, and if he received the payment and is honest enough, may help you.

Hansa was apparently compromised by the authorities for a while now; they wouldnt have shut down the investigation unless they were finished. you may have sent your money to a LEO lol, but any seller on this market is known by international law enforcement, and most likely will be facing charges. you probably wont be getting your coins back Sad honestly, id let this go; if they start going after customers you may have bigger issues than some missing bitcoin.

dont reach out for your coins. you are building a case against yourself for conspiracy to commit. DO NOT CONTACT the seller. trust me on this, if you have never trusted a stranger on the internet before. You have no recourse under law to get your coins back, not only are they evidence, they are illegal proceeds. and Sessions changed the asset forfeiture laws like days before this happened, dont think thats a coincidence.

853  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Something strange is happening on Youtube #ElsaGate on: July 20, 2017, 09:15:45 PM
What the heck are those videos? Who thought animated children drinking beer is a good show for kids? damn. With blood too! Another reason to keep your children off the internet until they can think for themselves. For now, stick to Barney ladies and gentlemen.

The shows are designed to look real and mask as a kids show. Wanna see some more messed up shit.

Look up on youtube Dont Hug Me Im Scared. It is about some bloody and graphic shit. It looks like a kind of sesame street in the first half of the episode then turns into nightmarish shit fast.

Any pqrent who just watches the first part would be fooled, you need to watch the whole thing tonsee the bad stuff.

You are one of the few people I have met in RL that has seen this, its absolutely surreal. I think it is more about pointing out the way we are controlled by our environment, from the talking clock to the ear bleedingly loud personal computer. they are trying to soften the horrors of what they are showing you by taking a format we associate with kids. if anything, it makes it soo much more terrifying.

some of the videos in that series dont make a tap of fucking sense, however, like the ISIS puppet thing where you couldnt understand what they were saying.

but this isnt quite what the op was talking about, DHMIS was artistic, and had a message. this crazy shit, if for the kids, is obviously something psyop. trolls be damned, who has time to make something this absurd and innane, just for LOLz?

could they possibly get ad rev for this? seems like youtube would shut this down immediately Sad

its not safe for work btw (dont hug me im scared), nothing pornographic, but your coworkers will talk about you badly.

855  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: July 20, 2017, 02:34:03 AM
No, bitcoin can't reduce unemployment. Imagine if 100 people buy 1 Bitcoin at price of 200 USD after few years they find that price of bitcoin goes upto 50,000 USD and they think it's better to leave their "Finding Job" and take interest in Bitcoin and after few weeks Price of bitcoin goes down and deepdown to 1000 USD what they will do? they have to start again to find job and they wasted their time. There was second side also their what if they earn and earn only loose then maybe they invite more unemployed people to join. But still it can't reduce unemployement  BECAUSE OF THIS PRICE FLUCTUATION"

A fuckin men. bitcoin is purely speculative at this point, the price can move 20+ percent in just a few hours. that, is not a solution for unemployment. jobs are great if you are unemployed, duh LOL, but non programming technical jobs in bitcoin are rare as unicorns. until the rest of the world adopts btc, its another investment class to play with, nothing more. it has a lot of promise. but we have a lot of progress to make before bitcoin is ready for the mainstream. mainly, scaling; if we are having problems with transaction congestion at this early point in btc, we will be in trouble if we ever get as popular as say, Paypal.

an aside, PayPal is the goddammned devil.
856  Economy / Economics / Re: Nationwide Outage Hits Bank of America: Customers Unable To Access Accounts on: July 20, 2017, 02:14:36 AM
Incident like this is adding to the many jittery and stress the people have been experiencing lately. Anyway, I am sure this can just be an isolated incident and things can get back to their feet soon. Now, I am wondering if this is not a telltale sign telling us that maybe it is really time to adopt the blockchain technology as it can make the country stronger and better for the possible bleak future.

this is the result of the level of centralization we accept in our banking institutions. and they have fealty to the shareholders legally, not to us. if another person controls the "keys", so to speak, it up to them to decide when you get access to your funds. this is the most effective way in modern society; we are so cashless that its enough to simply close the access portal; you dont even have to shutter the doors of the institution. i dont think this was that, this was probably some platform code issue type shit, but this should be a teaching moment.

be your own bank Wink
857  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Making a living from signature campaigns, is it possible? on: July 20, 2017, 01:29:57 AM
A lot of people here participate in signature campaigns but is it possible to make a living from doing it?

usually we dont answer these, but I see you have a legitimate question here. I checked out your website, nice list : i may submit articles to a few on your list Wink

it works like this; there are various signature campaigns around that pay an amount per week based off of your forum rank and posting activity. with a new account you might be able to get 10 bucks a week; with a mature account you can make about 70-100 a week, depending on bitcoin price. depends on where you live; if you live in an economically depressed area its a great deal of money. But if you live in the States, or the UK for example. you might cover the utility bills/car note with it. far cry from a "living", so to speak
but, if you hold the coins and the price double, you have double the earnings Wink

takes over a year to get to the forementioned point, so it something that should be organic, not a goal.
858  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How Long Does Liqui.io Take To Touch A Support Ticket Usually? on: July 20, 2017, 01:20:52 AM
We are officially at the week mark, no touches on the ticket whatsoever. Im tempted to make another ticket with a common question, just to see if they are ignoring me or if they are that busy. The support on the Telegram channel finally read my message, but still never replied, LOL. Im going to touch this ticket every few days, until I get a response, ill wait a few weeks and take it to reddit to see if I get a response.

ill keep you updated. in the mean while, learn from my lesson; it takes a week base to get a response from Liqui support. Might be a fluke, I wont throw them under the bus, but be wary Wink
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2017, 12:21:17 AM
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future?

its like yall word these things to be funny LOL. I cant resist sometimes.

First I was going to take it slow with my BTC, a few calls, flirting, maaybe a couple drinks after work. as time passes, we might try a date at a nice restaurant, something uptown where you have to dress up nice to get in. then im going to play hard to get for a few weeks, miss a few calls here and there, you know, just act meh. I want the BTC to think I have other options, like ETH. You gotta play it cool  Wink

Eventually, Im getting the buns though.

As far i know, Coinbase is the first exchange that rejects any potential HF from Jihan.

https://twitter.com/coinbase/status/887703206435758080

I think I started to like coinbase  Grin

Would I trust my precious coins to them? No, not yet. They have a long way to gain my trust but I may stop talking shit about them for a while.  Cheesy I guess we are about to find out if userbase majority > hashrate majority or vice versa.

they jumped on the ETH bandwagon really fast back when I wasnt so keen on it, but, looking back, I guess they werent so wrong, LOL. they are insured, yet I cant bring myself to leave a balance of more than 5ish USD on CB, or anyones exchange for that matter. i have a poor feeling most of the time my coins arent under my control. shit happens too frequently in this space Wink

DEX!

but im going to need coinbase to like, upgrade the servers or something, anytime there is high traffic the platform performance seriously degrades, like messing up your trading bad Sad
