3481  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: April 14, 2017, 02:19:53 PM
Bitcoin when converted to fiat can be used in corruption. Did you read the news regarding an Indian corrupt police who withdraw the bitcoin they got from the drug dealers they arrested?

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/rogue-indian-drug-agent-caught-stealing-bitcoins/

He worked with the drug dealers he arrested so that they can got the bitcoins for them. So this leads me to believe that bitcoin can be used and lead to corruption in our society.
That what happened, with drug agent withdrawing the bitcoins that were owned by drug dealers is only an incident.
In my opinion, it should not lead to conclusion that bitcoin can corrupt everyone in the society.

I think that most of the precious thing may lead to bad things, because humans have desires, which they want to make true.
That is why all is up to particular person righteousness and character- if the unit is doing bad things for money, or would not hesitate to- bitcoin may easily lead to corruption.
But if someone is a regular hardworking citizen of some country, why would bitcoins make him corrupted? It is just a different form of money, instead of USD or any fiat, it is a cryptocurrency.
3482  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing money on bitcoin..! on: April 14, 2017, 01:21:57 PM
Investing money on bitcoin is a wiser though, as we observed bitcoin is continuos fluctuating and its a nice idea to invest with it. But the thing is dont put all your money in one basket, just invest on what you can afford to lose.

I'm usually spend 10% of my main salary every month for invest into bitcoin since I believe that bitcoin may increase exponentially on the future especially when halving occur.
I was so amaze that bitcoin has grown this far which I'm consider as the winner against gold investment

Actually, bitcoin is a different way of investment and belong to internet that's why when people know about it and see it is growing than they start to invest on it. Actually everyone could easily handle bitcoin than gold. Also the main reason is that people trust on it, and our trust built it.
Bitcoin has built from the algo, and that makes easy to manage the bitcoin itself. The gold as a real commodity and it makes hard to manage the gold itself. You can't save them anywhere.
That's included on the advantages by bitcoin itself.  In this day more people are believing on the bitcoin and the demand increase.
Exactly, and the demand raises the price a lot in the bitcoin case.
We have only 21 million coins, what is very good thing in particular, because you cannot increase a supply like fiat or gold ( by mining it ).
Also, bitcoin is easy to transfer and pretty much worldwide, when fiat is only available to transfer somewhere else by banking system or cash ( which is a dangerous option ).
Gold, is also very hard to transport, and you dont have this problem in cryptocurrency world.

We only need more and more people joining us in bitcoin to even make demand higher, and to make bitcoin more trusted across the world.
3483  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take profits now! on: April 14, 2017, 01:14:44 PM
The momentum is dying out, its time for a profit taking if anyone wants to make 10-20% and buy back.

http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/btceUSD#rg180ztgSzbgBza1gWMAzm1g10za2gWMAzm2g25zxzi1gCCIzi2gMACDzv

The way things are going, there is more money in dumping/buying back than just HODLing.

your post is absolutely useless here. because people are either traders which means they already know what to do and don't need a topic on bitcointalk to tell them what to do with their bitcoin and positions to sell and buy and when to do it.

or other people who aren't traders, which means they shouldn't even be reading a random post on bitcointalk to make decisions about buying or selling even if it turns out to be true. because if you are not a traders (don't have experience) selling and trying to buy back will end up in a disaster for you.
Posts like this still will be done, which is nothing special, because we are in the speculation section, so what do you expect?
That is about speculation, that we just discussing here about different behaviour of price, depends on the analysis, so what's the point?
I like to see different people sharing insights about the current market situations, because it always helps me, and im able to look slightly in the other direction.

So don't be mad about his personal view on the bitcoin price, because everybody thinks in his own way, and all he does is just sharing his perspective.
3484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How i can Start Trading !!!! on: April 12, 2017, 07:32:51 PM
In trading industry. We shouldn't think that trading is just an easy things were you can  gain profit in a quick manner. Of course is not like that. Just always remember for you able to start trading in the platform you must first the basic stage of this one, and you must be aware of the coins were you're going to trade in and third you must know how to analysis in doing trade.
I dont get that, nobody in the trading industry says that things we have acces to and know how to use are easy to learn or get.

As a new trader you play against many kinds of different players, like big fishes or smart and old traders.
In fact, they have advantage beyond you which sets you up on a losing position

Only good cash menagement and correct exit techniques may lead you to good results, and what about rest of neccesary skills?
3485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which trading exchange is more safe ?? on: April 12, 2017, 09:52:12 AM
There are few trusted exchanges where you can send your money without big risk, because there is not a big chance that the site will be suspended in the moment when you deposit.
But the biggest concern about converting is not having access to the private key, so you should reduce the time when exchanging as much as possible.

Poloniex is probably most reputable exchange you may use, the volume is really great which means a good rates, that is why I suggest using it.

Many of my friends use also btc-e but their have many requirements and different rules, but if you live in US then it will be also a good choice for you.
3486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Large bitcoin fee issue on: April 12, 2017, 09:02:02 AM
Hello there i need help and advice.I have 3.75th/s mining contract in Genesis Mining and they pay me about 0.001btc per day and send me daily directly to my blockchain wallet.Slowly my amount in blockchain wallet reached 0.03btc from that and when i wanted to transfer them some there,it asked me a fee of about 0.008btc for that.It says we have to join all those small payments that are recieved daily and thats why that much high fee.
And when i was selecting lower fees it said my transaction my never get confirmed. And paying that much fees is a big loss for me.
I just wanted to hold those bitcoin in my wallet but like that if my amount reaches 1btc like that some day then it will ask me a fee of 0.3btc from that. What should i do how can i save myself from paying that large amount of fee.As genesis mining will keep sending smaller amounts daily
First, you should not think that you will collect 1 bitcoin over time from Genesis because many times it was prooved that they are scamming their customers.

Also, the fees amount depends on the number of transactions made on your wallet, if your btc is made of thousands of transactions, you will pay higher fee which is obvious.

If you still can change your address at genesis, then make yourself a desktop wallet. You won't have to pay such a big fees probably as at blockchain.com, many of my friends have reported different problems with it so I would just choose some other wallet.
3487  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: April 12, 2017, 08:54:48 AM
I dont get the point of this question, we have taxes in countries since ancient Rome, through medival or something, they are present for hundreds of years.

In my opinion taxes is an obvious theft, government takes the money we have earned and redistributes them to politics, poor people and infrastructure.

Country should collect taxes for army and public health service, and also for building roads and stations, but why do countries use our money to giveaway them to people that dont want to work?
3488  Economy / Speculation / Re: $3000+ on sight for this year after BUcoin disaster on: April 12, 2017, 07:46:16 AM
I think that 2000$ level is a good target for this year considering it is over 50% rise from current price, and I dont expect something bigger in 2017, but actually the BU disaster may give up so much strength to bitcoin core that we will see it in this year.

I hope that hard fork is not going to happen, because it may cause many problems at the exchanges, and on the other sites.

I would rather choose SegWit if it was up to me, but it is the choice of the miners, not me.
3489  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell your bitcoins within a month or two on: April 12, 2017, 05:55:25 AM
My friend told me the exactly same thing, that I should have sell all my bitcoins before this month comes to the end.

His theory doesnt fit for me, and that is why im not going to use that "great way to generate income" because I want to hols bitcoins in a longterm, as a backup funds.

He said that within a month, btc price will lose stability and will start fluctuating mostly to the bottom, to the 950-1000$ levels.
After reaching that it will stay in there for few days and then possible bounce to 1100$, but I dont believe in such a theories and predictions, I always prefer to stay with my own strategy, in most cases the way I analyze the price action works for me.
3490  Other / Off-topic / Re: Smartphones are vital to bitcoin growth on: April 12, 2017, 05:49:50 AM
More and more people are using smartphones thanks to budget friendly mid-rangers, almost anyone can now afford to buy a smartphone.

Mobile payment is becoming more common and it is an opportunity to acquaint people more into using bitcoin . Mobile payment will eventually replace credit cards or at least will make them less mainstream. An example  of this is Apple Pay. Bitcoin smartphone wallet  apps are to use when you have a transaction, you just scan a qr code and the transaction is done though will take some time to be confirmed.

Smartphones as you said, are becoming more like a one of the common goods, most of people have bought it because they are not so expensive nowadays.

But people may use also just regular wallets like blockchain.info or other web wallets, you can login on them through browser at mobile.

I have to say that QR codes for bitcoin are very useful, it would be very frustrating to type the address directly one by one, when you can just scan the QR code and have no problem with that.

Paying in the malls or stores with bitcoin makes sense only when you can access it through your mobile phone.
3491  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: April 11, 2017, 06:22:10 PM
So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

accept the facr that yoy lose on that part. But that doesnt mean you are quiting. You need to look for a better method of earning from trading because thats actually the life of bitcoin. You will win sometimes or lose sometimes. Thats how it goes.
Trading means like this, and it purely depends on the price of alt or Bitcoins. We must have the patience to make a profit in trading. Because sometimes our bad luck the price will fall immediately in that situation we have to control our emotions and wait for some time to increase the price. If you get panic and sell your coins for the low price, it is a big loss for you.
Im not a full time trader, or a very experienced one but I think that you should always set up the exact strategy, which rules you will apply no matter what.
You cannot let emotions in to the game, and if you will then you might execute the order in the bad timing.

That is why it is very important to always set up the stop loss- for example doing long btc/usd at 1150$  and stop loss on 1050$ to save the money in case of drop.
I never hesitate to close my order while the price action of the market tell me that it is not worth it to hold funds more.
3492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: April 11, 2017, 06:05:58 PM
The best part here is, you have a decided profit level (it's best if you have) and when you reach it, you should sell because holding too much would leave you with nothing but either loss of time or fiat. In Bitcoins, there is always a second chance to buy back, so instead of crying at the time it goes more higher, just hold yourself tight for the right opportunity to get back in and then hold your coins once again to sell higher.
in the short term do sell is the right choice. because we can benefit. but for the long term then we should do the holding. because it can make us gain more profits.

But if you think about it then short term trading is better than long term holding. Be decisive, think what you are doing and how much you are wanting to gain. The numbers should be there in your head all the time and sell at the right time.
You cannot say that long term holding is better than short-term trading because it depends if the price of asset you invest in, is fluctuating or not.
If the price of something is stable, then you rather want to save the money instead of risking them.
But if you want to do short-term trading, you will put your money in risk, and most important is to have knowledge and trading skills.

I would say that both options are very good solution to make up profit, however which one is the best depends on the amount of money invested.
If someone buys government debentures with 5,000,000$ he will get really nice profits from that.
But if someone has 5,000$ won't earn a lot with same debentures. That is why the trading might be a good option for smaller investments.
3493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Inspiration on: April 11, 2017, 06:00:26 PM
Nothing.

I can't considered my gambling activity included as one of the highlights in my life so being have an inspiration as my lucky charm to win is out of my context. Yes obviously whenever I played Im aiming for profits (who else didn't?) and to make that happen or increase my chances of winning, good analyzation is the key and not by having an inspiration.

Making too much additional recipes just to win in gambling doesn't increasing the chance to win. Face the reality insted.
The feeling when you win a big sum from nothing is very pleasant for everybody, but most of the time you have to bust all your money.
I think there is no sense in doing gambling except for having fun.
If you start thinking about making profits, you will try to grasp the luck, and bigger money means bigger appetite.

I have stopped gambling about half year ago, after losing 2.1 bitcoin made up from 0.45.
Im not going to touch it again, and it is better to spend the time in work, instead of gambling online, or in casino.
3494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can't avoid taxes by investing in bitcoin on: April 11, 2017, 05:49:53 PM
If you think investing in bitcoin or a similar “crypto-currency” may be a good method for hiding income from the tax man, you’d better think again.
http://nypost.com/2017/04/08/no-you-cant-avoid-taxes-by-investing-in-bitcoin/

I am smelling something good here with the news. If the government declared about how peoples can't avoid the taxes by investing in bitcoin, it means directly or indirectly government said that they recognize the existence of bitcoin and how it can be profitable to invest.

The exchanges are the "Achilles heel" when you are talking about anonymity because of their much security check. But this is true only in countries that recognize BTC as an asset (which is a good thing).
When you choose a buying method that protects your identity, there is no way to the government to tax it.
The biggest problem with converting bitcoins to fiat is in not being anonymous.
Governments may easily ask cryptocurrency exchanges for sensitive data about users, and they will list transactions to particular sellers.
You can also just not tell anyone about your bitcoins, and withdrawals to fiat later but that way is risky, there is always a chance that IRS will somehow know about it.

In my opinion, the best possible way would be to just pay taxes for bitcoin/fiat transactions.
It is possible that the tax from cryptocurrencies isn't high in your country, so you can just save most of the money from the trade you made.

3495  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining on: April 11, 2017, 03:18:01 PM
i think without giving a real proof, many people is not believe for what we say especially members in here because too many of them that getting scam by similar cloud mining and i think many of them that have bad experience in the past, i am including of this. so you need more to do and i think you need more budget to create website like other cloud mining and one thing that you should remember, you MUST not trying to scam people if you have your ROI and you MUST give your best service to members so your service will stay longer like the big cloud mining out there.

I do not scam, and i understand. But, You cant say that im scam before you try it. Im sorry that you have been scammed before, I have been scammed by Bithour and bitrush. I lost 0.02 BTC.
That is why I made this Cloud Mining Service. To benefit others with, easy and scam proof mining.

TO people that think Im scam.

Give me your Litecoinpool.org Worker name, and pass

You will see that i really do have the hashing power, and can use it.
Listen me carefully, because your answers here are just meanless moaning.

If you want to start 100% legit cloud mining service, then you should put up here all data, which would tell us that your business is legit.
Plain words like "i have been scammed too" wont help you anything, before you proove to us that you own hardware, your company is registered, and you hire the team of individuals that we are able to check.

If you dont meet the requirements then nobody will want to invest money into your business.

Show us some photos or screenshots which have some value for us, not only letters and words.
By the way "scam proof cloudmining"? And where is that proof, sir?

3496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China leading the way for a regulated bitcoin on: April 11, 2017, 08:26:42 AM
This will only concern Chinese exchanges. And in case this affect all the exchanges, some day or another, a decentralised exchange will pop-up and will end all this debate.
Im sure that China won't let their citizens to exchange and use bitcoin without any kind of regulations and control.
They might want to create centralized bitcoin in China, just by using law that affects crypto exchanges.
If they would suffer because lack of any exchanges, how it is possible to convert them into fiat?
The only possibility would be to do it on street, personally- face to face.

The thing is that the exchange needs to be somehow connected with the banking system, to transfer the money to their customers right?
I doubt there are buildings where you can personally send btc to the company and recieve cash.
3497  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining on: April 10, 2017, 08:40:26 PM
Hello! Welcome to CryptoHub[/size]
Me and My team recently started working on a site, That Sell Hashing Power. We still haven't made the site official, but we will be done soon. We sell Hashing power with good rates! With no daily fee.
To sell mining power you need lots of real mining hardwares not site at first. Show us some pictures with your name attached on those hardwares. Without this your cloud mining site will be just another ponzi which offers cloud mining service and pays their old investors with money from new investors which can't last for long time.

It seems that OP has no idea of the seriousness of the things that he is writing, first OP did not appear correctly. I mean:

real name

Where do you live and what are you doing with your life?

Name of the people who are in the team and what they do in life

company headquarters

Mining equipment

Then you could explain the advantages of using their service.
I assume that this thread is going to be deleted by moderator, but I also need to add something from me.
Posts like this happen from time to time at bitcointalk.org, which is very sad- new people at this forum may fall into a trap, and waste money for giving them to some greedy scammer.
I dont like to see more and more advertisments/thread about cloudmining sites or HYIP's because i haven't found any programme that would actually be legit, and safe to invest.

Just dont trust anyone, if you want to invest into mining company or something like that, ask for every particular detail about the people doing this, ask for photos of the hardware they own.
3498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Monthly Best Gambling Site (April 2017) on: April 10, 2017, 10:11:21 AM
I Choose and VOTE for crypto-games.net. I think they are good because they gave free 30mBTC per share or post to those people who share there websites in Social Sites like facebook, twitter, Google+, Instagram.  Smiley
I must agree with you that crypto-games is a very good gambling site, they offer very attractive house edge, with insanely great speed of bets.
Try automated betting there with big balance, and you better be ready to click "stop" button, because it goes almost fast as light.

Also, their faucet system is made in a interesting way because we have many levels there- you gain more faucet claims, and more satoshi (or other currency) every level.
You may level up for reaching specific amount of btc wagered, referrals, chat messages plus investing (you need to hold them to have increased level) and obviously, loyality ( for active days ).

I have also chosen crypto-games.net, that is a really good site Smiley
3499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It Possible To Use Only Bitcoin In Japan? on: April 10, 2017, 09:49:33 AM
Only bitcoin is really a hard thing, because Japan as an country that gives importance to digital growth now have focused on digital growth of economic system. As a part they have regulated bitcoin causing a sudden increase of around 20% bitcoin acceptance from the online and offline merchants.
And that is the best part about this, Japan is probably going to lead in bitcoin shopping, that was a great move of their government to encourage people using cryptocurrencies.
Im very glad that Japan is supporting cryptocurrencies growth ( mostly bitcoin of course ) because other countries may take this as an experiment.
If it is going to work good, then we may see even more countries following the steps of Japan to implement bitcoin as a one of a payment methods.

Anyway, nowadays it is not possible to live only with bitcoin in Japan, they support merchants adding this kind of payment, but it will take time to see this method available in most of the shops there.
I assume it will be around 2-3 years if not longer, im sure that not every company is happy about the cryptocurrencies law change in the country of the blooming cherry.
3500  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Heroin? Cocaine? Weed? on: April 10, 2017, 06:36:08 AM
Legalise some drugs for sale BUT never lock anyone up for taking any drug ..

Portugal legalised taking drugs.. No jail.
Crime gone down people taking drugs gone down..WHY..Think about it..?

No drug pushers ..
Just think if a shop sells it no street dealers to be pushing it on the street YOUTH .

GO ON   GO ON   GO ON   have these drugs says the big kid to the small kid Wink..
PUSHERS ..Shops no more pushers..

Free choice to take drugs NOT FORCED CHOICE..

How forced choice?..

You are young and to fit in you are pushed to take or smoke these drugs to fit in..

The young get to know more about drugs if legal..
Not every drinks or smokes  Wink..Smoking most young don't smoke anymore..LEGAL Wink

It seems us humans if we are told not to do something we do it more Smiley
                                    ^
Maybe it's the desire humans have to always want to be free

Complete legalisation of drugs is actually an amazing idea. I see it as a natural selection. Those who are stupid enough to do drugs and kill themselves will leave us who don't, therefore more junkies= less junkies. Cheesy
You forget that among drug users, a very large number of criminals. To meet the ever growing amount of drugs they need they go on the offense. You don't think about the fact that they themselves can become a victim of drug addict, and your children can become addicts? I'm against it. Any talk about legalization of drugs needs to be stopped.

When people are intaking drugs their attitude, emotions and their way of thinking becomes abnormal thus they may also have the tendency to become criminals. Drug addiction is an expensive vice that needs huge amount of money so you can sustain your addiction and if you spend all your money in your pocket the tendency is that you will do some illegal things to satisfy your addiction. Once you get addicted it is hard to escape and since it is costly you will even do illicit activities just to have money to buy drugs.
I would not suggest so fast, that the crooked police ( the ones who were caught with them ) is addicted to drugs.
They had them, thats true but it doesnt neccesarily means that they were addicts right?

Being a policeman is a really stressful job, no matter what, you see brutal and fucked up thing on everyday basis, and not every human can be mentaly resistant to see brutal crimes usually.
Going to work like this for 10 years can easily affect your mind and mentality, you need to agree that also you risk life doing your job- thats something very important indeed.

I assume that they were unsatisfied with their police salary and they were selling drugs to some people, and later got caught.
You will be amazed how often police sell drugs- the ones who have been seized before obviously, that is a great way for crooked pigs to get more money.
They dont pay for it, they just need to find some guy who has them and simply seize the drugs without writing any kind of a protocol.

Simple? Very simple.
But bear in mind that police are humans, and it is often that are not able to control themselves sometimes, and that is the reason of police brutality.
