3401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the requirements to be "Escrow"? on: May 02, 2017, 08:41:22 PM
Starting an escrow service is not so easy at it may look like, because you need to gain a trust of the community that gathers on the bitcointalk.org.
Also, your feedback needs to be positive, and people need to be sure that you have already made many trades or some transactions with the forum users, and there were no issues about it.

With escrow, you obviously need at least hero member rank account, but legendary is the most recommended rank.
You also need to be recognized by the participants, and there cannot be anything shady in your history or current behaviour. Remember, that the people need to trust you to make you able to start such a service.
3402  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automated Trading with Bitcoin on: May 02, 2017, 08:30:45 PM
To be honest, I dont really like automated trading.
It is probably because I have started my trading journey with forex and oil, not even any stock market (I was doing that later).

I have always seen thousands of the offers to get access to some kind of a programme that will make a trading decisions for me. All I have to do, is just give the funds for the bot and pay for the script.
Every single friend of mine that is a successful trader, does not use bots at all. They do not rely on them, because they know very clearly that only the human may constantly play on market while having profit on a long-term.
3403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: May 02, 2017, 08:00:48 PM
i hope bitcoin to be used as a mainstream currency  Smiley
Im glad that you are saying that you only have hope for such a scenario to occur, but personally I dont really think that this might come true.

It is because we can already see that some of the goverments are rather against the bitcoin, and the part is not keen on cryptocurrencies.
However the most of them have not really decided yet. It would be a dream if thanks to the bitcoin price going up and also thanks to the Japan adopting the bitcoin, we would be able to see many different countries also implementing bitcoin as a regular payment option.

But still, for now we cannot expect something like that. I would say that it is not possible before 2030 or even later.
3404  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Earning Heaven! on: May 02, 2017, 04:18:02 PM
I think that the idea of creating the site which would list the different altcoins is a really good idea.
To be honest, I dont really like browsing through endless pages of threads with coins, also i hate downloading all the altcoin wallet stuff (If I want to invest, I have to) and that what keeps me a little bit on the side from alts.

But I have heard about poswallet once, and it was looking actually quite attractive for me, so I decided to use it. I simply love the idea of listing different kinds of altcoins that use PoS reward system, because we are able to have them in once place, and it is not necessary to browse through many wallets, exchanges and websites.
3405  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: May 01, 2017, 09:07:07 PM
I really think that there is nothing better than trading, because holding bitcoin does not require any kind of skills.
All you have to know, is how to buy and transfer the BTC, and obviously how the basics of the blockchain work. You dont need any other knowledge about it, to invest into BTC (e.g buy 1.0 btc for a long-term)

The case is totally different if you are going to trade, and it does not matter if it is forex trading, stock market or even altcoin trading. All of that may give great opportunities for an experienced trader, but it is a very hard task to be successful on a longer term with trading. WIthout a proper education about the market you are trading, there is no chance to make a good, constant growth on your balance.
3406  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: May 01, 2017, 08:53:35 PM
I think users need to accept first the bitcoin. Because if the users not know the Bitcoin how do local businesses accept it.,

That's not a bigger problem in my country, most of us in our town use cards rather than Fiat and many have already understood the value of cryptocurrencies and been using it.
Some merchants have the option of paying through bitcoins for bills more than $10.
Actually im being kind of a jelous right now, to be honest I also would like to live in a city where I have so many options to pay with bitcoins.
Unfortunately, I dont have such an option. Usually, in most of the cities in my country there are only few places where you can use BTC as a another payment solution so that sucks a little bit.
Also, we have few ATM's but I never use them. The fee is really high, it sometimes exceeds even 6% of the total transaction size, which in my opinion is a robbery!

But in fact, having such a way would be a great thing, I still dream about having the card charged with BTC just to pay in the local shops and stores.
3407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: May 01, 2017, 08:45:44 PM
It may sound weird but I am making good amount of money from gambling as I find it the most easiest way to earn bitcoins in quick time and I am sure most of the people will find it risky way to earn bitcoins but I am very much comfortable in earning with gambling.

I have seen many people who are earning a living from gambling so I think even you are one of them who is able to make regular money from it as gambling is not a cup of tea of everyone and most of the people will prefer to gamble only for fun.
You might be right that some people are able to live from gambling, and they are constantly doing this however you may not know, that they dont do any kind of gambling like dice, slots or anything like that.
To earn a living with gambling, you need to focus on such games as poker and blackjack. If you play those, you may have a chance to overcome the house edge by doing correct decisions: but it is very hard to be succesful in such a games and play at tournaments where you can earn a big jackpot from the reward given to the winning player.

I think that gambling should be never considered as a way to make profit, unless you are doing one of these games. In other scenario, that should be just plain fun.
3408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: May 01, 2017, 05:11:37 PM
This thread was start last year november but i could say that there is a good progress in bitcoin since last year and i think it would be more popular and havibg a great/stronger value for next 19 years!
We just continue using this digital currency and promote to those people who do not know about bitcoin it may helps in fast progress of bitcoin.
Yes, and i dont think that this thread is useless.
It is a very long one, so there are many answers to browse. I really like such a situation, because I can look at the insights of massive amount of people plus also, how the perspective for bitcoin holders change after years and months.

I think that bitcoin lately is getting bigger even faster and faster, many new people are joining the cryptocurrency community and there are even more money flowing into this markets.
It is really hard to say what is going to happen in 20 years, but we will have bitcoin supremacy or a total failure.
3409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you lost / win on Bitcoin dice ? on: May 01, 2017, 12:42:21 AM
To be honest, im not a really good gambler. I would even like to say that im a terrible one, I just cannot stop but maybe it is not so bad.
Personally, I do not gamble for profits at all, it is just a plain fun for me. I prefer to deposit 0.015 bitcoin to have fun on dice, than just depositing 0.25 to make some return.
I dont really endorse such a perspective, because in most of the cases you will lose: at gambling, the house edge makes the advantage for the casino, and you cannot do anything about that.

I always use some kind of scripts, automated betting or programmes, such as dice bot (seuntjie). It is just more interesting for me in that way.
3410  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitfinex & Poloniex concerns on: April 30, 2017, 11:37:36 PM
I think a 2000-2500 target is possible with earlier levels among the 1500 to 1700 range, but beware current issues surrounding some exchanges.

USDT is a questionable "asset" that is pegged to the US dollar. However, pegs inevitably fail. There has been as much as an 11% disparity between the value of USD and USDT which is highly disturbing - a peg is supposed to maintain 1:1 value. If it fails it may cause major issues with Bitfinex due to using USDT as its USD reserves, and lesser troubles for Poloniex which uses USDT but at much lower volume.

If there is trouble at Bitfinex, the stresses may have been increased considerably due to rapid withdrawals from the cold wallet[1] during April. The cold wallet balance has been halved since then and might simply indicate trader jitters, but worries about Bitcoin exchanges have tended to be well-founded.

With Bitcoin breaking out to new highs it seems sensible to me that it's worthwhile to simply hodl in a secure wallet. Should the need to sell arise, simply transfer the desired amount to an exchange.

Whether you choose to take action or do nothing based on the above information is up to you; being aware simply helps in the decision-making process.

Im pretty much having a big laugh about that thing with the bitfinex, all that troubles that they have lately met.
It is not so often to see that goverments tells banks to close/freeze/suspend the bank accounts opened for the cryptocurrency exchange.

Im afraid that the part of clients that have used bitfinex will never get their money back, i guess that the authorities will claim that this money was seized from the "money laundering operation" or something like that.
It is sad for me that we are having such an incidents, but i assume that nothing is going to change unless many countries will accept the bitcoin like  Japan did.
3411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poloniex To Delist 17 Altcoins In May Without Explanation on: April 30, 2017, 11:26:41 PM
These coins that are listed doesn't seem to be in demand to begin with, and it's just another of the company to actually pull off some resources they have spent to keep the market for these coins live. Also, exchanges have the right to delist a coin which they see unfit to be in their exchange because they are getting profits from trades that happen within their platform. If there is no demand, no profit, and you know the rest.
Exactly, there was no real demand on these coins, as far as I have observed.
I can proove that with one very important thing: after the poloniex have announced that they are going to de-list all these 17 altcoins, the price have simply broken.
People were panic selling, basically most of the volume on the poloniex was being dumped, or in a good path to be dumped.

It is kind of funny, because some people are saying that poloniex have cheated their customers: but you need to remember that they would cheat, if these coins would pretty much dissapear, without doing de-list from the polo side.
3412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: if someday the network internet totally dead . on: April 29, 2017, 04:11:54 PM
I don't think that it will ever happen as the internet is improving day by day and in future we will see internet with some great features and higher speed so there is only a room for improvement from here and it will never go back and it will never become dead.
Yes, but the problem that we discuss in this thread has not a lot in common with the things you are talking about.
Higher speed of the internet and better features in it does not help it when something unexpected happens, which may cause internet to go down on the whole planet.

The infrastructure needs to be modernized, because without proper security measures and safety plans, in the event of war there might really bad things happen for bitcoin, as a cryptocurrency.
But to be honest, I think that it may only affect BTC in case of a really big war, which may become a national conflict.

I think that with the stable internet, most of the cryptocurrencies are safe unless people lose trust to them for some reason.
3413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: April 29, 2017, 03:43:00 PM
I would have never thought that any country may actually "control" bitcoin. After all, BTC is decentralized so there should be basically no ways to control it, but the history has proven that it is not like this.
We are talking about the China may controll bitcoin, because they have domination in mining it. More than 90% of all mining power (that has already changed probably, but i remember such a percantage) is in china so it really dangerous for the bitcoin distribution. In such a case, mostly people in that area are obtaining it.

But bitcoin is too strong to be controlled only through that, you would need to have a tool that allows you manipulate the market: and there is no such a tool, except just forcing your prices by doing specified trades at big quantities.
3414  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: April 29, 2017, 03:20:55 PM
Hi, I am looking for a way to earn some money without invest(because I am broke), I can dedicate 2 hours a day in that. what can I do to make a bitcoin per month without any investment?

try pure mining, it helps. you will got a very big money in that. only thing you must have is a computer and a high specs videocards. you will spend a little bit but you will get back soon as you have build it and you already start mining. you will get back all your need once you start, you need to be determined and be patient enough.
Im getting really annoyed about such a worthless posts, they actually occur everywhere at every single thread on this forum.
To be more precise, im obviously talking about those "great advices" from newbies or low-rank accounts, where they literally give you the worst tip they can like going for gambling or some great HYIP/Cloudmining site, which will make your rich in just a while!

Your post is actually the same, your tip is to go for pure bitcoin mining: do you even imagine what amount of funds that requires to start? He was asking about earning money without the investment!
PC are not used in the mining industry, you need to buy some expensive mining rig for that.
3415  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: April 29, 2017, 03:12:06 PM
"Money from money" is a rule that is present in our society since the start of the capitalism age.
Without understanding that very important phrase, you are not ready to go for a real investments and profits from trades.

You need to grasp the idea why it is so crucial to always have some money invested: it doesnt matter if it is 5% yearly or 0.1% monthly, you need to constantly be in move. Dont stay in one place, go to work and save the money. Use the saved money for investing purposes, so they will increase every month.

Having a plan which would help you to achieve the goals you want is very important, but you need to be very determined to remember about every single point of your plan everyday.
3416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex- bank blocked all their deposits on: April 29, 2017, 12:47:15 AM
Well while bitfinex is getting issues, kraken has opened those markets, and looks like they got some solutions to people from USA, the thing is what and when bitfinex will be able to recover from those issue, fiat into their exchange is worthing zero if they find any solution, and those issue is making the market to adjust the price based into their exchange.
Im actually afraid that bitfinex is not going to recover this time, this is such a big issue for them, that the prices of bitcoin on this market has increased very significantly: comparing it to the rates on other cryptocurrency exchanges.
Obviously, that was because the bank accounts was blocked, and there was a panic buying of bitcoins to withdraw them from the exchange as soon as possible.

In my opinion, government decretes may lead to a very serious problems for different exchanges, because if the bank accounts of the companies are going to be frozen, the clients are not going to be able to recover their money.
For me, this looks like a issue that is not possible to avoid by the companies, unless the goverment will start discussing about cryptocurrencies, and maybe there would be a possibility to convince the authorities, to implement bitcoin as a way of settlements.
3417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: April 29, 2017, 12:30:23 AM
Even ETH claim to be better than bitcoins.. but king will be king...
Even if we can call bitcoin as a "king" then it has not necessary to be the number one through the history of cryptocurrencies usage.
I think that many of altcoins may also have great usage in future, but society is still not ready on such a changes.
I hope that a lot of things are going to mix up, and we will be able to see a goverment that accepts bitcoin or any other altcoin as a one of the way to make a settlements.
Or just follow the steps of the Japan: adopt the bitcoin in the country.

In my opinion all of that may give great results, but for nowadays, I doubt we can expect to see any altcoins that will overcome bitcoin.
3418  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking To Start A Small Business With Bitcoin on: April 28, 2017, 11:30:40 PM
I think that starting even a small business in bitcoin nowadays is not so easy, if you are not really into the technical stuff.
For sure you need a coder and webmaster, because you need somehow to get your website to work. Without proper part of code which will basically hold your page safe and secured, you are not going to be able to prosper to make sure you can focus on more important things.

You obviously need to make some kind of a revenue, and this depends on what is the main source of funds for your firm.

But in bitcoin world, and overall in cryptocurrency community to make a good number of sales, you need to be trust-worthy for people. Without proper experience and customer approach, you are not going to achieve that.
3419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: April 27, 2017, 09:46:55 PM
The only difference is that we cannot hold bitcoins physically in our wallet and that is the reason people don't have faith in bitcoins and prefer to use fiat money as they can hold it easily and that makes them to trust fiat more over bitcoins.
I may agree with you partly, because in fact many people do not trust cryptocurrencies at all, even in bitcoin because thsy simply cannot touch, see or smell it. So they might think it has no real value: but it is not true, there are many things which are worth a lot but do not really exist physically, for example expensive skins in games.

But there are way more differences between fiat money and cryptos, you need to remember that for example bitcoin is a decentralized currency, when a US dollar is emitted by the federal reserve: so it is not decentralized.
3420  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: April 27, 2017, 09:40:31 PM
Everything I could restrain my emotions especially in gambling because you beat a gambling site if you can not restrain the emotions. All you do in the field of bitcoin gambling or to invest you should always apply your emotions and manage it.
controlling emotion in trading and specially in gambling is one of the most difficult task i think. as i really feel very hard when start losing money and to decide not to play gambling any more.

We talk about emotions only in trading and gambling, otherwise in real life we could manege. But about of lose our money than it is difficult to control our emotions, and as you said i agree with you, when we lose the amount than the next bet starting is hard, and same situation is happen in trading.
You dont have necessary to lose money to let emotions into the game, the biggest issue is that when anything which contains risk has also money involved, then in a important moments when the equity is going down, people usually make bad decisions too.

That is why it is crucial to never let your emotions speak for themselves when it comes to doing business decisions, or the choices on which depends the future of your positions or trades.

Be calm and do your job, dont panic when you see that something is going wrong, it is a common scenario after all so there is nothing to be afraid of.
