761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LEAGUE OF LEGENDS PREDICTION THREAD! #IEM on: January 09, 2017, 11:43:55 PM
Only noticed this thread today. I really like League of Legends, but I usually only play the game, and don't bet much, because I don't know top teams very well. I guess I will start following you thread, maybe I can add some profit on top of the fun I already have from playing the game.
By the way, do you think you could add some stats of your progress, on your first post, or thread title?
762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: January 09, 2017, 11:39:37 PM
Why Barcelona not win Vs. Villareal?
in my opinion its still too early to say we've lost the league, im just thinking back what happened to barca last season with a bigger lead could happen to madrid too but it wont matter if barca keep losing points.

Its seriously time for the players and coach to step up.

Neymar needs to get more selfish at times.

When messi played him trough in 1st half he opted to square pass to suarez instead of just shooting when 1v1 with keeper i dont get that.

he should also shoot more often outside box if he has space, the man has an amazing shot.

I don't know. I really don't think they did anything to wrong on that game. Villarreal has a very strong defence, and was very effective on the short opportunities they had. Barcelona depends to much on their key players, and if they can't make the difference, or are well neutralized by the defence, the teams falls to much. Nothing is lost though. They could end up being 7 points behind, but the Spanish League is very competitive, so I think they can recover that, since other teams will not give Real Madrid easy games.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 09, 2017, 11:30:58 PM
The juventus has improved his own record of 25 consecutive home wins in Serie A in 2013/14 did (there was Antonio Conte).
With the easy victory yesterday against Bologna (3-0 Dybala, 2Higuain), now consecutive wins are 26.

Yes indeed Juventus is doing quite well as usual. But I'm enjoying what Roma is doing this season, maybe they can put up a fight.
Only 4 points behind, although Juve still has a game to play, so it will probably be 7 points.
764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 09, 2017, 11:28:45 PM
Manchester United vs Hull City : Manchester United are in good form and they are definitely going to win this game and they will need to win big as it's a first leg at home while Hull not in good situation in the league and they should be focusing on fighting to stay out if relegation this season and in think that United should be able to get a comfortable victory .Manchester -1.5 @1.5.

This seems to be an easy game for MU, hull city never won in five games in the league, they look insecure and difficult to make a goal. win by 3 goals seems easy to MU.

Yes that should be an easy win, but they also have their game vs Liverpool on the 15th. I know it's 5 day between both matches, but I'm not sure if Mourinho will make some player rotation, since Hull should be an easy game. I would still go for united, but the odds are low, and I'm not sure they wont just manage the game if they are winning.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 08, 2017, 03:44:51 PM
I'm going to make a parlay today on serie A. I'm going for AC Milan v Cagliari, and Juventus v Bologna. Juventus is very strong as usual, and should win this, as for Milan, has some very good chances on winning as well. I'm afraid of a possible draw on Milan side, given last matches, but I will risk it.

Parlay
AC Milan v Cagliari, Milan
Juventus v Bologna, Juventus
Total odds: 1.6
766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: January 08, 2017, 03:41:15 PM
Today I'm going for Villarreal v Barcelona. Barcelona has been facing some trouble when playing away. I can't pick them to win this game, although I think they will, but the odds are to low. I will go for both teams to score instead.

Villarreal v Barcelona
Both teams to Score? Yes @ 1.68
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: January 08, 2017, 03:38:25 PM

I will definitely stop place bet on Porto to many times this season they disappoint me like yesterday. Also think that i will skip placing bets on portugal league today.
Dont see some match to be sure thing maybe Sporting game but they also can play draw so i will go out today.

I ended up not doing that parlay. You are right, Porto continues very unstable. They do nice games, and and just stop scoring again.
They could be good picks for draws, or unders. Can't trust bet on them for a win anymore.

Today I'm going for Rio Ave v Chaves. Don't know why the odds are so big for Chaves. Of course it's hard to bet on them to win, but the draw is highly possible, so I think the odds for Rio Ave are to low. Only one point between these to teams so I expect a balanced game.

I think I will just go for both teams to score. The odds are big, but both teams have been scoring and conceding some goals in their last games, so I guess there is a decent chance of happening again.

Rio Ave v Chaves
Both teams to Score? Yes @ 2.1
768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Because house/bookie always wins on: January 07, 2017, 02:20:35 PM

House and bookie will win in the long term when gamblers bet a lot, if only a few bets, house and bookies may lose. But long term they earn margins

Yes I know. I wasn't saying that. But normally when people say the house always wins, they mean that they win and the player loses in the long term.
What I was saying is that, although that is true for casino, I don't think it's true for sports betting. Yes the house will always win, but the player can also win in the long term. Most of them will not, but that's because of lack of skill I think, and not entirely because of the house.
769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: January 07, 2017, 02:16:10 PM
While play gambling and lost, do you add more beting or stop play gambling? I always add more beting and deposit again, i can't control my self. Do you have suggesting for me?

Well I try, and most of the times I can do it well. But even in the last Tipster Championship, I made a mistake and did not control my bankroll betting limit, and went bust on only 3 bets. That cost my participation in the competition. I could had continued, but I tried to don't make the same mistakes and accepted that I lost my bankroll for that competition. I did not even went for the participation prize.

As  for suggestions I don't know. In my case it was all about experience. I lost many times, and I eventually manage to make better decisions, but as you can see from my example, it's not perfect, but I can manage I guess.
770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: January 07, 2017, 02:10:38 PM
Today I'm going for Eibar v Atletico Madrid. I can't pick a winner for this match. I would normally go for Atletico, but Eibar is doing very well at home.
I think I will go for both teams to score, and over 2.5. The odds are so high, but I think it's possible, so I will take them.

Eibar v Atletico Madrid
Both teams to Score? Yes @ 2.12
Over 2.5 Goals @ 2.24
771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 07, 2017, 02:06:00 PM
Today I'm going for Napoli v Sampdoria. I know the odds are low, but I really think they are a big favourite to this game.
Winning serie A does not seem possible, because Juve is very strong, but I'm sure they will keep the fight for second spot at least, because of champions, so they need to win these home games.

Napoli v Sampdoria
Napoli @ 1.25

772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: January 07, 2017, 02:02:07 PM
After little break championship continues as planned, two games are on my pick for today

Guimaraes - Benfica
Ferreira - Porto

Expect that in both matches away team win this games i placed that cuz first games need to play on sure bet later we will do something else. Bet win Benfika and win Porto.

I'm not sure about Benfica. Guimarães is really hard to beat when playing at home, and they are in good form, or at least they were before Christmas.
I think the odds are to low, given the difficulty of the game.
As for Porto I agree, but the odds are low, so I will probably use it in a parlay or something like that.
773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: January 07, 2017, 01:04:13 PM
Hey! guys i need your opinion and help because i didn't know about this trading thing i only know about how you can earn bitcoin by gambling but still my friend told me that gambling is not the way to earn bitcoin but if you try trading you will earn much profit why is that so guys? trading is better than bitcoin? how? why? where to find that trading thing?

You can still lose. The main difference in my opinion, is that you can control your losses better, but you will still earn less from your trades.
I only did sports betting trading. Meaning I closed my bets for profit, and after that I had a guaranteed profit no matter what.
Of course that if the market never comes your way, the only thing you can do is cut losses, but you can still lose.

I can't say I like it better. It's different and I like both.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Because house/bookie always wins on: January 07, 2017, 01:01:55 PM
Every site says bookie/house always wins and the margin and odds ensure their profit.
Following are some links to it:
http://blog.runlastman.com/bookies-always-win/
http://www.gamblingsites.org/sports-betting/beginners-guide/how-bookmakers-make-money/
https://www.quora.com/How-does-the-betting-system-work-How-does-the-bookie-make-a-profit ...
so this new year lets do something new rather than betting/losing.
i provide complete assistance in helping you start your own sports betting website to getting players in short joining the bookie circle.so why not to stop betting and starting this business itself with a very low btc in hand
this is a link in which i am auctioning a sports betting website/software.
if you can get your own domain name and just need software i am providing at very low price in whatever your budget is and i promise to negotiate in budget and give you best price so for more details look here

I don't agree with bookies always win. I mean, I agree with it, but not on the expenses of the players. At least not on the expenses of those that know what they are doing. They always win because the odds provided, are of course controlled and ranged, that they always win no matter where you bet, as long as they can keep the wages balanced as well.
It's the same as trading in exchange markets. On that case bookies also charge a commission since they are not the ones controlling the odds.

The reason I say I don't agree, is because if you know where to bet, you should still get some profit. Not as much as you should, and that can affect how much you earn in the long run, but you should still get profit.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: X FREE Tipster Competition - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: January 06, 2017, 07:21:03 PM
hey i've question, today bitcoin are to the moon, did directbet will be change the bankroll?

Bankroll will not be changed except the minimum bets may be changed such as 0.5% per bet IMHO

The price is so unstable that I don't those changes should be made.
And if the prizes stay the same, then I think the other things should stay the same. I just hope I can keep to the betting structure on the next competition, and don't over do it, like in this one xD
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: January 04, 2017, 03:05:21 PM
Got really unlucky on my last bet, since Porto lost by 1 nill. The referee definitely had influence on the match outcome, but it's part of football I guess.
Today I'm going for Setubal v Sporting Lisbon. Sporting Coach is having trouble with his team, he needs to win games, even if it's just for the Taça da Liga competition, otherwise things will probably start to go bad for him. I expect a win for Sporting.

Setubal v Sporting Lisbon
Sporting Lisbon @ 1.47

777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 04, 2017, 03:01:49 PM
Big game today, between Tottenham and Chelsea. I know it's not a title game yet, but it's very close to that, because if Chelsea wins this one, it will be incredible hard for anyone to follow them with an 8 point lead. I think they will battle really hard for this one, and given their current form, I will put my coins on them.

Tottenham v Chelsea
Chelsea @ 2.68
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: January 04, 2017, 02:56:23 PM
Today I'm going for Sociedad v Villarreal, and Real Madrid v Sevilla, for Spanish Cup. Although Real is missing some important players, I still think they can win this one, and my bet goes to them. As for Sociedad and Villarreal, I can't predict a winner here, so I will go for both teams to score, since these teams play some offensive football.

Real Madrid v Sevilla
Real Madrid @ 1.51

Sociedad v Villarreal
Both teams to Score? Yes @ 1.9
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: X FREE Tipster Competition - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: January 04, 2017, 02:47:41 PM
Hello everyone!
First congrats to everyone that participated on this X Edition, and a big applause to the winners of course.
Hope you had a good experience, that is very important to us.

Now, for those of your asking, we will keep the usual schedule, as we did in the last editions, so:

Right now we will have a 2 week period for discussion and to gather feedback. This is a very important period, because it's the time to see if we need to make adjustments or not. Then we will open registration and go live on the 1st February.

- Feedback and discussion period, until 18th January
- On the 18th January we will open registration.
- On the 1st February we will go live, and start the XI Edition of the Tipster Championship!

Can't wait for the next competition! Hopefully I will not make the same mistakes as in this one xD
Talking about those mistakes, and since we are in the discussion period. I have a suggestion, not for the competition itself but for directbet.

Is it possible to create a max bet limit option, or something like that, in the interface? I know we should be careful and check the value of our bet, but sometimes mistakes happen. On the last competition, I ended up removing a '0' from my bet, so I wagered 10x times than what I wanted in that case :/

It would be really nice to be able to have that extra security, but I know it's not a very important request.

I'm going for the game Las Palmas v Atletico Madrid, for the Spanish cup. I will put my coins on Atletico. Las Palmas is quite hard at home, and messed up some of my bets already, but I will trust Atletico on this one.
