Placer one bet played safe need coins for Xmas  Grin

Porto - Chavez win porto is small quote but safety comes first

Even Bayern Munich yesterday had an odd of 1.12 but won with really great difficulty against the last place of the standings in the Bundesliga.

For these kind of games I am going for Chaves +3 Asian Handicap bet or +2.5 if +3 is not available. This way the game will be more intriguing and I think the odd for Porto is real small because Chaves is in the top 10 of the league and not the last team in the rankings of the Primeira Liga.

You were completely right. It wasn't an easy game. Although Porto is getting on better form now, Chaves is doing quite well.
Porto had a good and deserved win, but it sure wasn't easy, so the odds offered were not profitable in the long run. This time it went well, but it was easy to go wrong, and the profit made just wasn't worth the risk in my opinion.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inside The Mind Of A Bookmaker on: December 20, 2016, 01:56:50 PM
I personally feel the bookmakers are at big risk too. Most of the people who make big bets, are either addicts or people who are like tippsters. With the tippsters they take a lot of risk, and addict gamblers are where they sort of make it up. A lot of casinos even like DB were hit by this guy who won big amounts, which I am sure would make any bookmaker worried.

So yes a lot of these bookmakers play around with things like odds or max bet amount which can give them the edge they need to stay in business.

I don't know if they have that much of a risk. Maybe they can't really control parlays. They might be hard to win, but they sure pay big amounts when people hit them. On single bets, I think they have all under control, or they should have if they do things properly. They control the odds and the max betting limit, so they should always have their profit even on all outcomes, no matter what happens I guess.

I'm on a bad run myself, I guess I will start following you again. I don't really know these teams, and I normally only bet on football, but I guess a blind follow from time to time will not hurt. Let's see how it goes. Hope I don't "mess up" your winning streak.
804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 20, 2016, 11:43:06 AM
What a lucky match for Liverpool, they win with 1 goal in the very last minute. Liverpool at 2nd place right now. What an interesting season, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City fight for top 3 on Premier League.

I wouldn't say it was lucky, they completely controlled the match on both halves, so although the goal was very late, I would say they deserved to win.
As for the League I completely agree with you. Chelsea is doing very well and will probably win this, but the other teams are so balanced, it's great to watch. I would like to see United on the fight to, but that's probably asking to much.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: X FREE Tipster Competition - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: December 19, 2016, 11:50:55 PM
I guess this edition is being hard for everyone. We are on the last two weeks and top7 is between 20% and 50%.
Compared to the last competition, the value are quite low I guess. I already miss the side competition, I think I will give it another shot at the main one.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: X FREE Tipster Competition - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: December 16, 2016, 09:38:13 PM
2 questions
so we have saturday and entire sunday for betting ? right ?

and also for the play offs will there still be the point sistem if you get under 10% roi you get 1 point if you get over 10 you get 2 and over 20 you get 3 ? or is it changed ?

I don't think you have Sunday to bet, because in the schedule it says:

Side Competition schedule:
Group Phase: 12 to 18 December at 00h UTC

So I think you only have the rest of this day, and the entire Saturday until 00h UTC

808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control emotion when you are on crucial part of gambling? on: December 14, 2016, 06:58:00 PM
From the movie Frozen. "Conceal, don't feel!"

Just don't think! Just gamble and do you thing. If your executing a strategy, stick to it. Don't play using your emotions and stray away from your plans. Block out that inner feeling and don't follow your guts. Follow what you meant to do. Emotions is one of the worst factors in gambling. This is one of the main reasons why there are plenty of people that get bankrupt in gambling.

Completely agree with you, but only on poker or sport betting. If you are playing on roulette, then I don't believe in strategies so I just go with the flow.
Of course I have bankroll management rules, so I never end up spending more that I can afford.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: December 14, 2016, 06:56:19 PM
gambling is like a game with yourself , you can win or lose its depends on your luck and your strategy

Why do you say it like  game with yourself? When I play poker I'm not playing with myself, and my play really depends on what others are doing.
I agree with the luck and strategy part, but I don't understand the rest.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice To Earn Or For Fun? on: December 14, 2016, 06:54:34 PM
I am playing dice for some few days and earning instead of losing with a new method invented by my self or even if it was invented before I didn't know anything about it I came up with this method by my self, now you think is it right if I keep winning ?

Do any of you guys earning daily  from dice? or you just play for fun and leave it to chance whether you win or lose?

To be honest I don't really believe in methods on this type of gambling, but I'm still interested in knowing it, if you are willing to share it.
As for the question, I normally don't have profit in dice. I'm just very unlucky there, or I'm doing something wrong, because I have profit from time to time in casino, but in dice I always end my sessions losing. So I don't play for profit, and since I always lose, I can't have much fun there either, so I kind of just stop playing dice. Maybe I will try it again, if you share your method.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 14, 2016, 02:59:17 PM
Today I'm going for Chelsea, Man United and Liverpool. These last teams are quite risky I know, but I will still go for it and make a parlay with all three. This will be more like a fun bet, or an instinct bet, let's hope it will pay off.

Parlay
Middlesbrough v Liverpool, Liverpool
C Palace v Man Utd, Man Utd
Sunderland v Chelsea, Chelsea
Total odds @3.77
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: December 14, 2016, 11:36:15 AM
yeah i can control myself when i playing gambling and i never play gambling for profit i just play gambling for fun and there is many people are playing gambling for profit and they face to high risk because i can not play gambling for profit i just play for fun.

Even playing for fun, you should feel some emotion I guess, otherwise why would you be playing it?
I know a few guys that even by just playing football, so no money involved, completely lose it, because they want to win it so hard that they get even violent when they are losing. So I don't think you are able to control it because you just play for fun. You are able to control it because that's the way you are, and probably have a good self control in other situations as well.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Games Are So Much Fun on: December 14, 2016, 11:33:03 AM
I am getting the hang of them more and more, and it's so hard not to bet everything away, LOL! My fav is freebitco.in though. Gosh... I have 20k sat there from the faucet, and all I want to do is use it all for betting, ha!

I am not addicted; the 20k is still there, but wow... I have an itch to scratch for sure.

I tried dice, but I never win, so I get bored. Glad it's doing well  for you. What's your actual profit by the way?
I do like roulette, for me it's all the same lol, but I like the interface better I guess, and I do manage to get some profit there from time to time.

I know the house edge is smaller in dice, so I'm probably doing something wrong every time I play dice xD
814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would the Casino of your dreams look like? on: December 14, 2016, 11:30:41 AM
Hi guys!
There are tons of online casinos and gambling bitcoin sites. Some of them are different in some ways, some of them are really unique, but mostly they are the same.
I would like to know what would the ideal casino look like? What do you like on online casinos what do you dislike?
What are the best promos, which of them you don't like? Why? Which games should it have? What about tournaments? Etc. Post whatever comes to your mind!

I don't know. Casino normally don't offer much, so I don't even know what to ask. I like deposit bonus, but the rollovers are so high, that it's impossible to fulfill them. In sports betting I know exactly what I like. 100% deposit bonus, that are already available to bet with. This way I can just do the rollover, or try to lay the bet somewhere else and try to get the bonus all for myself. The casino is happy since I just lost a bunch of money, and I'm happy to, because technically I lost none, and actually made some profit.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: December 14, 2016, 11:25:52 AM
I'd save a small part of it (probably 20-25%) and invest the rest. This is the best thing you can do: save a small part for daily spending, and use the rest for investments so you can multiply that big percentage. Many times I'm saving 20% in a cold wallet, 5% for daily spending and the rest for investments.

I agree with the investment part, but I would do it in a much bigger value. I think 20-25% is not that much. If I had any reasons to believe that I could do it again, then keeping the most part of the profit to keep gambling and win some more would be nice, but I have no reasons to believe I could do that, so I would keep all of the profit, and just keep the double the value of my initial bet. That way I was free to try it again, and I would have alredy secured most of the profit.

If I kept winning I would keep doing it. So I would be securing profit, and increasing my gambling bankroll at the same time.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: December 14, 2016, 11:21:30 AM
When I bet, and doubled my money, I always pull the money out of the bankroll and quit for today, and leave only few satoshis on it, and that is where I will start again the next day.I don't want to gamble anymore with the money that I already win and try more, so I quit and let my urge cool down and come back again tomorrow. Too bad that I am not playing that much anymore.

Another good thing you can do is winning just a small part of your deposit amount and withdrawing the deposited money. If you have 200k, bet until you have 220k for example and withdraw the 200k to your wallet. This way you're safe. Losing the rest of the money is like you never had it.

I do that sometimes, but I don't agree that is like you had never had the money. It's your profit, so the same way you withdraw the 200k, you could withdraw the 220, so you do have that money. Like I said I do it, but not in that line of thought.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: December 14, 2016, 11:19:44 AM
I made the same mistake again. I was trying to bet 0.003, and ended up betting 0.03. It wasn't much, but the mistake itself is bad, because I could have been betting a lot more. I ended betting 10x more that what I intended, and although these values were small, it was still 10x more.

I also ended up losing the bet, and that really got me mad :/
818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what gambling games are you good at? on: December 14, 2016, 11:17:42 AM
I'm not sure I'm any good at any type of gambling lol, but I do enjoy playing poker, craps, roulette, and sports betting.
I tried many more, but I normally prefer these. Of course that when we talk about roulette and craps, since they are casino games, you can't really be good at it, but I guess I get lucky there, and I have some profit, which it good and not very common.

As for sports betting, I did well a few times in the Tipster Championship, sol although I don't think I'm very good at it, I also get some profit, which is good. Finally poker, I don't play so much now, but I used to win some online tournaments regularly. I never played really high stakes, but I did well in the stakes I played, and also got some profit.
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what position size for martingale? on: December 13, 2016, 10:30:33 PM
Hey guys, what position size do you use for martingales

so far I've only ever had a 6x losing streak before I have to switch to random walk, this is because my position size starts out at 1% of the gambling capital

do you guys bet with .5% or even smaller? this would let you get to 7 or 8 losing but it also requires more turns to make any decent winnings, increasing your personal odds of getting a longer losing streak if you haven't encountered it before (although I understand the losing streak can happen at any time since this is all luck)

To be honest I think you are over thinking it. It's gambling, you will lose in the long run, and there is nothing you can do about it.
You should control you bankroll, so you don't lose money you shouldn't be gambling, but that's about it. The rest is all about trying to get luck, and get out when you get it. I prefer to bet from 5% to 10% of my bank, but I don't do martingale. Yes sometimes I double it, but not doing a strict martingale.

Normally I bet between those amounts I mention, and I try to double or go bust, period xD
820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: X FREE Tipster Competition - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: December 13, 2016, 10:24:02 PM

i mean when the 7 days period is finished for the first faze and there is after that 16 players left, that the league continues with only 16 players, then after another period the league be cutted down to 8 and so on
would be nice to keep all the points if you understand me well

I also like this idea, but I don't think that the points should be kept from one phase to the other, because some users would get an unfair advantage on the knockout phase. I only prefer this idea to the normal playoffs system, because I think the competition would get stronger, since all players are receiving points, and the worst are getting eliminated.

With the actual system, one out of two "bad" players could still advance to the next round, just because they were matched together.
