441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coins for Day trading on: September 30, 2017, 08:33:55 PM
hey ,
can u tell what coins have fluctuations in price that i can do day trading on ?
p.s: i'm not looking for investment just day trading !

I think you an do that with almost every coin. Just go to https://coinmarketcap.com/ and see choose any of those coins listed there, and see if you can find an exchange that supports them. You should be guaranteed for some action if you choose to trade on any of them. If you are as bad as me, I wouldn't recommend it though. Good luck to your trades, and let us know how it goes for you. Right now I would go for Neo, but to hold and not daily trade.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Trading Truly Profitable on: September 30, 2017, 08:30:25 PM
For all of your die-hard Altcoin traders out there, share some input on your experiences or strategies you may have implemented/utilized to find success. I myself have had my fair share of dumb luck (knock on wood) but i'm interested to hear what some of you legends have to say.

I've tried, but I can't make the magic happen though. I'm either on a small loss or a very small profit, on the altcoins I've invested. They should be quite profitable though, because on some pumps I see gains of 200% on the last 24h, and that is just huge. I never managed to gt anything like that though. Maybe I'm not good enough, or maybe it's just a matter of luck.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most Anonymous Crypto Coin??? on: September 30, 2017, 08:26:51 PM
From what I've heard it's Monero and Dash, although Monero is buy far the cryptocoin that offers more privacy. Right now everyone says that it's completely untraceable. It's a good thing Monero existis, because  it kind of proves that crypt is not just used by criminals, or that the price of bitcoin would drop to zero if it stop being used by criminals, etc. If this was true, then Monero would be the most expensive cryptocoin, because it should be far more appealing since it can't be traced.
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: September 30, 2017, 08:11:45 PM
Rio Ave vs Vitória Setúbal
Rio Ave actually started the season very well with three straight wins and they were even able to draw against Benfica in their fourth, they went on to lose their subsequent two games and draw the rest one they played.Vitoria Setubal on the other hand has won just  single game all season with four draws making a total of seven points this season. I will be going for Rio Ave scoring first today.

I'm with you on this one, and my bet also goes for Rio Ave. I think I'm more confidant than you though, because although it's true what you said, about the three wins and the draw vs Benfica, I don't really think they decreased their form a lot. If we consider just the home games, they have one draw vs Benfica, a loss vs Porto, and the rest are wins. I think they won't lose this one.
445  Economy / Services / Re: The most easy signature campaign from PayBis [send PM first] on: September 30, 2017, 06:49:31 PM
Payment receive as usual. Thank you.

I would like to leave the campaign though. Not that is anything wrong with it, I really enjoyed participating in it, but I would like to try a weekly campaign, instead of a monthly campaign for now.

Since I'm only letting you know now, I don't mind keeping avatar and sig for a few more days if you want (3, 4 days if you want).
446  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in Economics class? on: September 26, 2017, 10:08:57 PM

Do you think they are talking about bitcoin in your basic ECON class?

I think it's to soon for that. Maybe refer it as a new trend, but I don't think any teacher would dare to talk to much about it. Simply because bitcoin is still being target of regulation, so a teacher might give it's personal opinion on the subject, but can't talk to much about it, before the government itself defines how bitcoin should be faced.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin progress in 2017 on: September 26, 2017, 10:04:53 PM
moment very fantastic moment of bitcoin progress now and I know it since bitcoin is still $95 until now bitcoin has reached $3900 bitcoin development every minute goes so incredible that many of us all like this digital currency, over time bitcoin will reach $10000 I am sure it will definitely be achieved..

I also think that an be achieved, but never in 2017. There is just no time for that, unless some big country comes forward and states that he it will replace conventional money for BTC, and that of course will not happen. I think it's possible for BTC to reach $10k in 2018, but not on 2017. I do hope that we can still reach a new high before the end of the year, but let's see what happens.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: September 26, 2017, 09:52:48 PM
Real Madrid seal the very important match against Dortmund today.Madrid played brilliantly and I think they are back on their form.Ronaldo scored two goals and bale did 1 with one assist.Dortmund also played well and made couple of chances but couldn't score more than one. With this win Real madrid holds no 1 position in group table.

Yes Real Madrid did a brilliant game, and this away win was very important to tranquillise de team from the less achieved games in the Spanish League. Four more games to go, but after this away win vs a direct opponent in the group, means that the fight for first place should of course be between Tottenham and Real now. Good win from Besiktas as well, and an unexpected win from Porto vs Monaco. That group should be interesting to watch as well.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin the price $250,000 in the next 10 years on: September 25, 2017, 08:17:02 PM
Well if nothing goes wrong with bitcoins, then yes I think it's possible. The value comes from offer and demand, and they are limited, so if the demand keeps increasing it's value just need to go up. There are also there are plenty of bitcoins that were lost because of miss use by it's owners, that either lost their keys and hard drives etc, because they didn't really believe in them when they were cheap, so their actual limit is even smaller than those 21M.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS coin information on: September 25, 2017, 08:12:28 PM
But what are the advantages of NEO when compared to etherium or EOS or waves. They are quite similar in what they offer right? I get that impression but I still don't understand much about NEO and EOS, but I always get the feeling they are used to create tokens and ICOs like ethereum.
NEO and Gas really seem to be doing well now, I'm tempted to buy some, but there are so many coins that it's hard to make any decisions.
451  Economy / Economics / Re: China Will Kill Bitcoin: A Conspiracy Theory on: September 25, 2017, 07:59:48 PM
I think you are going to far. China like to keep an eye on their money, and bitcoin doesn't help them in that task. They will fight it if they can't control it, but I don't think it will ever go that far, and truly don't believe that even if they ban bitcoin, the other countries will follow. All countries will feel the need to regulate bitcoin, and that's about it.
452  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe governments can stop bitcoin after all on: September 24, 2017, 09:30:49 PM
This is a serious discussion. I mean, after I've seen how bitcoin (and other cryptos as well) got dumped badly after an irrelevant law that makes ICOs illegal. I can only imagine now what would happen If more countries do the same thing and It could get worst by make itself bitcoin illegal. Whether we like to admit it or not, most of people would sell everything they have once its made illegal, some may continue to fight the central banking but the sad reality is that as soon as people start making profits, they will dump it and move on.

I don't think that will happen. Take a look to Venezuela, even though bitcoin is not illegal there, most miners are being chased by the police and government, but they are still using it. I think that bitcoin can only be made illegal in countries that live in very strict regimes, but even if it gets illegal on many others, people will still use it anyway. For instance, I'm pretty sure that piracy is illegal in almost every country, and people still use torrents even if they don't have a license for what they are downloading. I guess it will be the same with bitcoin if it ever gets to that point. Although I don't think it will ever will.
453  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-21] How bitcoin could overcome its wild reputation on: September 24, 2017, 09:16:33 PM
I think the volatility only exists in bitcoin because is still something very new. I know it exists since 2009, but only from the past 2 or 3 years people start really investing in it. Also right now, most people use BTC for trade, and not to buy things with it. If mass adoption ever occurs, the volatility will just go away. Right now if we want to use bitcoin, we actually don't have those many options, and since the price is increasing we also prefer to keep it, or trade it for profit. If we have a good offer from merchants, and we can buy cars, houses, or anything we like, we will stop trading BTC, and it's volatility will go away.
454  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: September 23, 2017, 09:43:10 PM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?

What do you mean by corruption? Cheating the network or something like like. Putting bad code on it and try to exploit it? I don't think that can happen, because everything is public, so someone would know. As for the blockchain network itself, I hear that it would cost someon $30M or something like that, to produce a single "false" bitcoin. So I don't think corruption could enter in BTC. If you are saying using it in a corrupt way, like money laundry etc, then yes, it can and it will happen. But that can happen with any currency is not a problem of BTC itself.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only 10 days until the SegWit2x fork on: September 20, 2017, 09:46:14 PM
Well, although I think they are wrong, and there is not need for the increase of the block size, because everyone already has an option for bigger blocks, since they can just choose BCH if they want that, and second, there are may options on the table that will address the problems with high fees and slow transactions (like the lightning network). Of course that only means that I will stick to Bitcoin, and since there is no replay protection, I wont even touch that other coin.

Anyway I also think that we will have Bgold on October, which is a friendly fork, and that hard fork, if it ever takes place, will only happen on November.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think bitcoin has role to play in the future? on: September 20, 2017, 09:39:29 PM
Well I agree with you, but we are not quite there yet. Bitcoin can achieve all those things, but we don't yet have those fast transactions and with low fees. If you compare bitcoin transaction with Visa or paypal, you will see that those are much faster. Also our fees are better now, but still not as low as they need to be, in order for us to use BTC for small transactions (like grocery shop etc).

I do believe that we will be able to achieve that in the future, so yes, in the long run, if everything goes well, bitcoin will play a major role as a currency. Right now, it's a good investment in my opinion, because like I said, I think it will achieve all those positive aspects you've mentioned.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 17, 2017, 04:49:39 PM
Expected more from Chelsea today. I don't think they are as strong as they were last season, I know it's still to late, but I believe this year the fight is between United and City. I wanted that to happen last season but it wasn't possible, but right now these two teams seem to be doing great. City with amazing results, and United seems more effective this season and not wasting so many goals as they did last season.
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: September 17, 2017, 04:41:22 PM
Important game today between  Rio Ave and Porto. Porto comes from a heavy defeat in the Champions League, but so far is doing nice at Primeira Liga, so I think they will do their best to use this game to show that they were not affected by the game with Besiktas. Also they need to capitalize on the defeat Benfica's defeat, so this is a very important game for them. Rio Ave is not an easy team and already showed that, by getting a draw from Benfica this season. I will bet on Porto to win this one.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: September 13, 2017, 09:22:08 PM
A lot of nasty surprises tonight, quite different from yesterday night, we have Porto losing to a much weaker team like Besiktash, we have Napoli losing to Shakhtar and we have Spartak Moscow being held by a debutant in the Uefa Champions League group stages. Also Rp Leipzig should have won against Monaco, usually a team from Germany is stronger than one from France. Anyway good games with goals in all of them.
I am also very shocked by Besiktash they done great upset of this night secondly Shakhtar beat Napoli its also good upset both superior teams fail to maintain games again much weaker teams its seems in future we have some more upsets like this in group stages Monaco is also very appeared very good team in recent years they hold Leipzig

I wasn't so shocked about Besiktas. They have a really good team when compared to FC Porto. Porto is doing well in the Portuguese League for now, and I think they will probably be able to keep it up there, but they are very short in quality for Champions. They didn't bought almost any players right now, so it will be hard for them to compete on Champions. Let's see if they can at least get a good third place and go to Europa League.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think that those who own and run casinos are criminals or conmen? on: September 13, 2017, 09:18:40 PM
I think that most of them are perfectly honest. Also, although many say that criminals do money laundry in casinos etc, is that really possible? I don't entirely understand how money laundry works, I only know what I saw in movies or TV shows like Narcos, but don't they need to eventually pass through a legal source in order to clean the money? How can they do it in bitcoin casinos, if they most of them probably don't even have a license?
