He rejected the Tesla? How rude.

Nothing exciting.

I wonder if Elise stands in garage staring at the Tesla with tears pouring down her cheeks?  Cheesy

Wouldn't that Tesla have been repoed by now? He was still making payments on it, right? So he couldn't have signed the title over.

What is Unlce Stu's approximate net worth?  I have never seen that posted anywhere.

We have no idea. However, IIRC, he had a $500,000 tax bill, so that speaks to income, at least.

My ICO page no longer shows my BTC bonus for early investment.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: June 01, 2016, 12:08:55 AM
Where's a good place to go for Lisk discussion that isn't price tracking? For Ethereum, the subreddits have a lot of great discussion that has nothing to do with whether it moved over the last 10 minutes to 58k or 71k or 96k or whatever. There are some clear advantages Lisk has over other platforms (mostly the brilliant idea of natively sidechaining apps), and I'd like to see some discussion on the impact that has on potential uses. The subreddit is pretty sparse; is there somewhere else where this discussion is going on?

Go to lisk.chat (Very Active) or forum.lisk.io

forum.lisk.io is perfect. I missed that link in the OP. (I now see that it's there, though. I should have looked more carefully.)

Thanks a whole bunch!

Talk about a complete marketing failure. No, they don't have to show transparency. Also, people don't have to buy their coin. If they're above board, they lose very little in terms of man hours in exchange for a bunch of people feeling much more comfortable buying into this. They choose to be secretive for what reason? Because transparency is annoying? How much money do they think this ICO will make with such little information given to potential purchasers.

I don't think they're going to get a very good return on their time investment here.

Yes, I am a recipient of a Garza love letter from his L.A. attorney (at the time). If you want a chuckle and a small trip down memory lane, here it is: http://sgb-e.com/pr/cd.pdf

This is a thing of beauty.

I missed Serious In Vest, too. That's pretty nifty.

This Mr. Coins guy is hilarious.

X coin looks really good. It will rise in value. This is not investment advice.

Y coin will be approved by the SEC. This is not a statement of fact.

I love turtles. In no way should this statement suggest that I love turtles.

"X coin looks really good" is not equal to "Go spend your money on X coin"

"Y coin will be approved by the SEC" is not equal to "Will Y coin get approved by the SEC?"

"I love turtles" is not equal to "Go buy yourself some turtles"

It's no wonder people lose money if they read the former and do the latter.

I cant stop people throwing their money away if they want to. If someone throws away their BTC, it's not my problem.
But, I will happily be held accountable for every single BTC someone sends me.

You literally wrote, "Paycoin will be the ONLY coin that is APPROVED by the SEC"

After reading what the SEC accountant wrote, one thing I did not see was anything about the hashlets that were not "sold" but rather what was "converted" hardware into hashlets. Did I miss it or is it not there. Because that would change a lot of the numbers.

-Dave

This was one of my first thoughts, too. But then look at the dates in question. It's only August - December, 2014. This is after the power was cut in MS. After the house was abandoned. After any purchase of Chinese hashpower. This is a very conservative timeframe. The actual theft is probably much more than the number they provided.

Realistically, I don't think chief Huey et al really care any more about the wallet or it's functionality. They're pretty obviously only in this shitcoin because of the way XPY.io could/is lining their pockets -- why would you turn down the opportunity to take advantage of a mass of willing idiots whose trust you already mostly have like that?

There just can't be that much money in it anymore. "lining their pockets" with what now? How much are these microprimes, and how many did they sell? I just don't think the money can be worth the effort anymore.

Just reading the filings catching up on the case.

The motion for default was filed on 1/6. There's nothing in the "Disposition:" field. When should we expect action on this? Today is two weeks from 1/6, though I don't know if that's important here.

It's fucking insane that Garza hasn't been arrested yet.

What ever happened to the baby brother?  Has he been thrown into fuck me in the ass federal prison yet?

He's hiding because he's scared. Maybe he saw Josh's soul above?

Doubt he has one

doubt this too lol.

I'm still wondering why no one went for Stuart Frazer (Uncle Stu) and the 9/11 scam...

Did anyone ever let him know about the email leak? It's possible that he doesn't venture into the cryptocurrency parts of the internet and has no idea of the email leak. If he doesn't know about the leak, he doesn't know how big of a mark he was for how long. He also needs the leak to know the amount of fraud in the 9/11 charity scam.

It just pains me to think that some übermark is still bankrolling him in some way.

On the other hand, he cleansed his social media of GAW, so he probably found out. I know it's hard to feel sorry for a guy who probably makes seven figures, but I kind of feel bad for him. I mean, he thought GAW could buy Western Union. Sadness.

Doesn't matter how it works fact is some nerd used IP data from a mod to send cops to the wrong address.  You call me a piece of crap because I dropped a negative evaluation based on ones  factual personality traits displayed in this thread.   What exactly have I done other then share my opinion and reason for it?   I'm starting to think Suchmoon and Paul are the Same people.  Since you seem to be so offended by me being mean to Paul.

Please explain that piece of crap part?

PS.  Im not the one that deleted the original post you quoted.....
Corruption Among mods?

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of ultraconfidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

A narcissistic personality disorder causes problems in many areas of life, such as relationships, work, school or financial affairs. You may be generally unhappy and disappointed when you're not given the special favors or admiration you believe you deserve. Others may not enjoy being around you, and you may find your relationships unfulfilling.

Tamer: Can you tell us a bit about how you secure Cryptsy’s servers?

Paul: I am not going to tell you all details because this is classified info, but we have a lot of different layers. We use Incapsula, our DDoS protection provider, which is our first security layer and then, we have frontend web servers, which is our second security layer, and all of those have firewalls and all of our online databases are backened, so the rest of the services , servers and other stuff aren’t accessible from the public internet, which is a key strategy when trying to boost security as the best way to be secure is not to plug in to the internet. Our wallets have several security layers and they are really hard to get into even for me, so wallets’ security is a priority especially when you have a couple of hundred altcoins on the platform.

Details are classified. Here are the details. Everything's off the internet and under several layers of security. I mean, it's tough for even me to steal stuff because they're so secure. They're like mega secure. Like think how secure the most secure thing in the universe is, and that's just, like, one layer of our wallets' security.

I have to wonder regarding that "ZERO association" though... how about that ball-cupping CTO of theirs? Garza's buddy Marshall Long. Is he already an ex-CTO? Doesn't seem to list Cryptsy or Project Investors on his LinkedIn page anymore.

https://www.linkedin.com/in/marshalllong

Exactly my first thought.

They have these blanket denials, forgetting that

a) Coinfire has been proven right in this space many times, and

b) there are leaked emails that include proposed business dealings between Josh Garza and Marshall Long while Long was working as a C-level for Cryptsy.

If they were going to lie, a better approach would have been to make Long the fall guy. Trying to Marion Jones the article is a poor approach given that there is clear evidence of an association.
