Its not an implicit approval. There is a mechanism for an implicit approval called a no action letter... basically, that would mean that the SEC investigated and decided to take no action as matter of policy (as opposed to lacking sufficient direct evidence to convince a jury or a decision based on prosecutor priorities). That will NOT happen here. No way on earth with the SEC give a stamp of approval to cloud mining, fractional reserve mining, ICO sales, etc. A no action letter won't happen because that would be a green light to the world to engage in fractional reserve mining, cloud shares selling, ICO sales, etc. all the types of conduct GAW has engaged in. Even if the SEC fails to take action, it will NEVER give any stamp of approval for these activities either expressly (never happens anyway) or implicitly through a no-action letter.
I stand corrected. Upon research, this is 100% accurate. Thanks for the post.

Moral of the story: don't tell lies.
" we have direct relationships with Amazon, Walmart and Target "
Dude, he has set up an account with each of them, ergo, "Direct Relationship". That's how this works. That's how this has always worked for him. Yeah, he actually got me once pretty late in the game with that Mastercard approval he tried to imply to be part of some future debit/credit card offering. I still can't believe I fell for that one. At least I didn't put any money towards it.

What do they imagine would have happened without everything they're calling "fud"? Paycoin would still have been a hyperinflating peercoin clone. Paybase would have still have a buggy half-assed joke of a web site. There still wouldn't have been a hundred million bucks in the CAF. There still wouldn't have been the kind of partnership with Amazon that Josh was claiming even on the day of the paybase launch. Do they think that if nobody had pointed these things out, the market would have happily given XPY a quarter billion dollar market cap even though there was nothing in XPY or in paybase that would have justified even a market cap of a million?
I wonder about that myself. Now that Coinfire has been vindicated, why is the site still a boogieman for HTers? Whenever I skim that forum, there's some quip about Coinfire using as a premise their nefariousness. Coinfire didn't change anything. They only sped things up a bit. Why are they still treated like some evil force?

Just a poorly researched piece. HT will have a field day with this. I think most posters in this thread put more effort into their posts than that "reporter" and that's saying something.
But then a poorly reported piece can be used by the HT faithful as "yet more proof" the outside world is on a hate mission with incorrect information and half baked journalism, one could argue this is exactly whats needed to keep the troops rallied. Viewed with the right kolored glasses... this is a good play to keep them drinking the kool-aid Exactly correct. https://hashtalk.org/topic/34790

I think the people here couldnīt care less if you got a MacBook "gift" from Homero paid with 40$ worth of a premined scam coin.
I feel much better if i would buy it myself with my hard earned money for 1000$.
No, I'd feel fine buying a MacBook with a premined scam coin. It's just that the hours the chosen ones put into brownnosing and pimping are worth more to me, or to anyone in the US, than $1,000. It's nice of Garza to give a little back to his most loyal, but the time sacrifice you have to make to get that gift isn't really worth bragging about unless you live in a developing nation.
