Additionally, cgminer is within the search path (he said it opened and then closed), so the quotes aren't totally necessary, just are best practice. DAMN....lol "C:\Users\Hanz Solo\Desktop\cgminer-2.4.1-win32\cgminer.exe" -S COM4 -S COM5 Who the fuck uses shortcuts anyways <EDIT> I just checked to confirm...IN WINDOWS, if space is present in shortcut path properties, QUOTATION MARKS are present .... THAT is not a BAT file..... Where are you launching from ? The problem is your SPACE in your USERNAME. You are trying to launch a CMD function in the form of a Shortcut.....SPACES in a shortcut path require the shortcut to have "quotation marks" around the entire thing....a CMD does not. just make a BAT file in the same folder as your CGMIner.... cgminer.exe -S COM4 -S COM5
Then send a shortcut from that BAT file to your desktop to double-click OR... create a PROPER shortcut and use "QUOTATION" marks around it.... "C:\Users\Hanz Solo\Desktop\cgminer-2.4.1-win32\cgminer.exe -S COM4 -S COM5"How much did I win ? 10,000 Internets ? |

If the key is used, you can not use it?  A Microsoft Software License that uses Product Activation is worthless once activated by the original purchaser. You would be buying a guarunteed copy of Windows (as in not worth any more than the price of the DVD itself) and an 'iffy' License/Key (perhaps fails activation)....and if you need to take steps to circumvent PROPER activation methods, you might as well just use pirated software from the start. Let's give you a good in-store price of $250, knock 10% off for it being used, then offer you free shipping. 45 bitcoins.

If I worked at BFL, I don't think I would be able to go home and enjoy my weekend....
If I worked at BFL, I don't think I would be able to go home and enjoy my weekend either, as all of the good drugs seem to be back at the BFL shop, because they would have to be fucking HIGH to think that their business model will continue to prove successful. I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall for a day at BFL, just to see their reactions to all of the 'respect' that their customers have for them. Unfortunately I am not a customer, because I am unwilling to wait for the next coming of Christ to receive my mining hardware, while paying for the opportunity to pull my hair out at the roots, ALL IN ADVANCE. At least they are smart enough to realize that their shit would NEVER fly without 100% pre-payment up front. Partial deposits or unpaid pre-orders would simply be too easy to walk away from after 2-3 months of sitting with your thumb up your ass..... WTF ? To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed. From the thread title, I was hoping you were going to argue that Pirate@40 and BFL were conspirators in a gigantic doomsday scheme through cybernetically enhanced bugs, funded by BFL and Pirate, swarming throughout the world, entering computers, and stealing Bitcoin wallets. Now that would have been something.

Also, has anyone received ANYTHING back or are these just stalling tactics until they can really pack their Interbags too Unless they all change their names (as in Christian Names/First Names etc) and begin life once again under assumed identities, I couldn't see anyone belonging to the Bitcoinica Consultancy or financially tied to them in any way, shape or form, EVER being given the chance to handle the informed public's money ever again. This has been 'Stalling-101' at it's finest....but then again, what do ANY of them have to look forward to after this is finally over and done with ? Bitcoinica 2.0 3.0 ? As far as their futures in Finance and Technology, I wouldn't trust any of these clowns with the pocket change found in between the cushions of my couch or the management of a blank/empty USB thumbdrive. I am sure there are a few proud families out there, somewhere in the world tonight....that's for sure. It's just too bad that they can't see this first hand and see what the fruits of their loins have accomplished in life. |

Cmon, Singles are dead already, why are you interested in these bricks still?
I figured I'd have a better shot at acquiring Singles ( being a ?current? production item) rather than waiting for the next Product to be dreamed up and ' Launched'.... A few 'old school' ( as in Father-Sarcasm) sayings come to mind: - Don't hold your breathe.....
- Don't hold your hand over your asshole...-...<insert next>..... You have to admit, from a Company Pride standpoint, it must make BFL extremely proud to be the butt of nearly every 'time' and shipping joke on the forum as well as a financial joke overall 'round these parts. No one ever doubted their product (OK, well, a few people did)....but everything else about them is simply comical at best. I mean, you can't even get mad anymore. It's easier to just have a good laugh at their expense, since they seem to be running their production lines at YOURS.... |
