1121  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Admins can close this subforum on: June 16, 2012, 08:25:03 AM
Actually forget about this thread. Asics will fail hard.

FPGAs destroyed, ASICs will fail hard, GPUs too inefficient....so what's left ? CPU Mining FTW !
1122  Other / Off-topic / Re: PirateFly Labs or Butter@40 - You be the judge on: June 16, 2012, 08:23:18 AM
What this bullshit is all about? Close this damn shithole.

Hey, Tarzan....

How about using complete sentences so we all have an easier time trying to figure out what YOUR bullshit is all about ?

worked great!  Thanks!!

1124  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Is this a configuration (driver) good setup for running a (5) 5830 miner? on: June 16, 2012, 03:50:14 AM
For my 5830's, I run CAT 11.12 & SDK 2.1 (Win7 x64)...voltage and clock control using CGMIner 2.4.1.

Undervolted Sapphire Extreme 5830 (880 Mhz GPU, 180 Mhz MEM, 1.049 V) = 285-287 MH/s per card.

5x 5830 + 1x 5770

How much did I win ? 10,000 Internets ? Wink
-1 internets, the arguments go outside the quotes. Additionally, cgminer is within the search path (he said it opened and then closed), so the quotes aren't totally necessary, just are best practice.

DAMN....lol

"C:\Users\Hanz Solo\Desktop\cgminer-2.4.1-win32\cgminer.exe" -S COM4 -S COM5

Who the fuck uses shortcuts anyways Wink

<EDIT>
I just checked to confirm...IN WINDOWS, if space is present in shortcut path properties, QUOTATION MARKS are present ....
If 'best practice' is Windows...then, YES...hehe

Additionally, cgminer is within the search path (he said it opened and then closed), so the quotes aren't totally necessary, just are best practice.

I bet if you asked his if the screen showed CGMiner or simply a brief open/close of a CMD screen, he couldn't tell you either way....

He ASSUMED it was CGMiner Wink
1126  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: script problems with BFL singles on: June 16, 2012, 03:30:21 AM
THAT is not a BAT file.....

Where are you launching from ?

The problem is your SPACE in your USERNAME.

You are trying to launch a CMD function in the form of a Shortcut.....
SPACES in a shortcut path require the shortcut to have "quotation marks" around the entire thing....a CMD does not.

just make a BAT file in the same folder as your CGMIner....

Code:
cgminer.exe -S COM4 -S COM5

Then send a shortcut from that BAT file to your desktop to double-click

OR...

create a PROPER shortcut and use "QUOTATION" marks around it....

"C:\Users\Hanz Solo\Desktop\cgminer-2.4.1-win32\cgminer.exe -S COM4 -S COM5"

1127  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Intel Atom 330 Dual Core Twin-1U Rackmount Servers on: June 16, 2012, 03:16:17 AM
I want a full 1U x19" set of these (is that considered 1 or 2 units ?) but shipping from Florida to Western Canada can be a nightmare at times.
1128  Economy / Goods / Re: [USED] Windows 7 Ultimate (English) (DVD) (email Key + Will Ship Box) on: June 16, 2012, 03:12:53 AM
If the key is used, you can not use it?

 Huh

A Microsoft Software License that uses Product Activation is worthless once activated by the original purchaser.

You would be buying a guarunteed copy of Windows (as in not worth any more than the price of the DVD itself) and an 'iffy' License/Key (perhaps fails activation)....and if you need to take steps to circumvent PROPER activation methods, you might as well just use pirated software from the start.

Let's give you a good in-store price of $250, knock 10% off for it being used, then offer you free shipping. 45 bitcoins.

....and 10% off 'Store-Price' for a used/activated Windows License ? are you high ?

Nice to see that there is still some life left in this thread and that Liberty Payout is too busy replying, to put any additional effort into scamming anyone.
1130  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 7970 GPU/MEM Combinations on: June 16, 2012, 02:29:40 AM
cgminer will not allow me to change any voltage or memory clocks.... Is there a way around this?

Afterburner...just like the rest (some ? most ?) of us Wink

When someone locks a thread because of something I Troll'd said, then I know I have been effective in Trolling expressing my views Wink

...that I troll BFL because I don't have any BFL hardware ?....LOL (like Pirate trolls don't have Pirate accounts ?...LMAO)

...and both seem NOT INTERESTED in New Clients ? Wink

OMG....

Pirate Pass-Through Bonds = BFL 'Pass-Through-Ass-Rape-3rd-Party-Singles-ReSell-Program-@-50%-Profit' ?

If I worked at BFL, I don't think I would be able to go home and enjoy my weekend....

If I worked at BFL, I don't think I would be able to go home and enjoy my weekend either, as all of the good drugs seem to be back at the BFL shop, because they would have to be fucking HIGH to think that their business model will continue to prove successful.

I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall for a day at BFL, just to see their reactions to all of the 'respect' that their customers have for them. Unfortunately I am not a customer, because I am unwilling to wait for the next coming of Christ to receive my mining hardware, while paying for the opportunity to pull my hair out at the roots, ALL IN ADVANCE.

At least they are smart enough to realize that their shit would NEVER fly without 100% pre-payment up front. Partial deposits or unpaid pre-orders would simply be too easy to walk away from after 2-3 months of sitting with your thumb up your ass.....

WTF ? Pre-Order, no 100% paid-up-front ?, reasonable delivery ?

What is this community coming to, when a company actually does what it promises to ?....OMFG

Hey BFL, how about pulling your heads out of your asses and taking a queue from another company that seems to be in a SIMILAR (although not even close as it seems) Industry to your own....
1136  Other / Off-topic / Re: PirateFly Labs or Butter@40 - You be the judge on: June 16, 2012, 02:02:59 AM
To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed. From the thread title, I was hoping you were going to argue that Pirate@40 and BFL were conspirators in a gigantic doomsday scheme through cybernetically enhanced bugs, funded by BFL and Pirate, swarming throughout the world, entering computers, and stealing Bitcoin wallets. Now that would have been something.

No way. Pirate has made me RICH BITCH !  BFL have just made me frustrated.
1137  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Payout Updates] Bitcoinica site is taken offline for security investigation on: June 16, 2012, 01:59:00 AM
Also, has anyone received ANYTHING back or are these just stalling tactics until they can really pack their Interbags too Huh

Unless they all change their names (as in Christian Names/First Names etc) and begin life once again under assumed identities, I couldn't see anyone belonging to the Bitcoinica Consultancy or financially tied to them in any way, shape or form, EVER being given the chance to handle the informed public's money ever again.

This has been 'Stalling-101' at it's finest....but then again, what do ANY of them have to look forward to after this is finally over and done with ? Bitcoinica 2.0 3.0 ?

As far as their futures in Finance and Technology, I wouldn't trust any of these clowns with the pocket change found in between the cushions of my couch or the management of a blank/empty USB thumbdrive.

I am sure there are a few proud families out there, somewhere in the world tonight....that's for sure. It's just too bad that they can't see this first hand and see what the fruits of their loins have accomplished in life.
1138  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Sexy Bitcoin Video on: June 15, 2012, 11:30:01 PM
People really need to start "Bangin' for Bitcoins".

Recipe:
1) 1x Naked Couple, ready to get down.
2) 'Positions' Menu, each with bounty.
3) Live Cam Session
4) etc...etc..

Bangin' for Bitcoins - YOU be the Director  (I'm trademarking that phrase ASAP...LMAO)

We live in a desensitized world and boobies alone don't have the effect that they once did unfortunately.
Liberation = Gettin' Down Wink
1139  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitForce SC - full custom ASIC on: June 15, 2012, 11:19:10 PM
Well, they promised a June 15th announcement, yet it's past closing time in their part of the world...  June 16th then?

Sarcasm aside.... Did they specify June 15, 2012 ?
1140  Other / Off-topic / Re: PirateFly Labs or Butter@40 - You be the judge on: June 15, 2012, 11:14:11 PM
Cmon, Singles are dead already, why are you interested in these bricks still?

I figured I'd have a better shot at acquiring Singles (being a ?current? production item) rather than waiting for the next Product to be dreamed up and 'Launched'....

A few 'old school' (as in Father-Sarcasm) sayings come to mind:
- Don't hold your breathe.....
- Don't hold your hand over your asshole...

-...<insert next>.....

You have to admit, from a Company Pride standpoint, it must make BFL extremely proud to be the butt of nearly every 'time' and shipping joke on the forum as well as a financial joke overall 'round these parts.
No one ever doubted their product (OK, well, a few people did)....but everything else about them is simply comical at best. I mean, you can't even get mad anymore.
It's easier to just have a good laugh at their expense, since they seem to be running their production lines at YOURS....
