Dip Points

If you have DIP points, it looks like the former conversion list was lost with Syksy. So if you want them exchanged for IC or SCI at a 2/1 ratio, please make a request here and I'll do it ASAP. That's 2 IC or SCI for each DIP.

Example: I have 300 DIP that I will exchange for 600 IC

There are over 700 cryptocoins today. https://coinmarketcap.com

Sturgeon's Law applies, and in cryptocurrency, it's likely higher.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MAJOR WARNING - ALL COINS on: June 04, 2017, 05:51:47 PM

Because literally anyone, any team of people can design and create their own coins. Very easily with all the open source codes available.

This isn't true (if you want something that's an actual improvement or works as intended).

Sure you can copy/paste a current coin's design and copy/paste their updates to infinity--then you have V.2.0 and will always be playing catch-up. Bitcoin clones have proven this idea doesn't work at replacing the original.

And yes, you could copy/paste a coin and start adding your own features, but unless you have developers who understand cryptography, you are likely making something that will break with any real use (I'm staring at all those coins that use multiple hashing algorithms and didn't read or understand a cryptographic engineering textbook when they state that using multiple algorithms is a terrible idea and should be avoided unless absolutely necessary).

Mining 1676

5 Mining Leases will be sold at the King's discretion between now and the end of 1776. These leases will be for 100 miners who produce 48 ORE per gm-yr [see ORE below]. These leases will cost 3.5 Billion per lease and run up until the full initialization of Clans, at which time, depending on the Clan's rules, they may be nullified, sold outright, or some other arrangement may be made.

The Mining workforce will dissipate at a rate of 1-20% per yr based on d-20 roll. TOWN (most likely, though ATM Town seems MIA, and other arrangements are pending if need be) will create and sell 50 MINERS a gm-yr to offset losses.

ORE is a catchall mineral used for basic production of arms, vehicles and other goods. Its main function ATM will be to act as iron and brass for the production of arms and carriages.

Lease offers are to be made here and will be granted by the King's discretion (main considerations will be game activity, with a preference for newer players looking to learn the NPC and production side of the game, with d-20 to be invoked in case of a tie).

2 leases will automatically be granted to myself so as RWC and RCC production are in no way (greatly) hindered. Please note that more leases may be granted in the future if the production falls short of Corp needs or fails to meet the market at reasonable rate.

Bids need to be placed by Sunday, 12:00 PM UTC

So far we have Marquess_Loaf with one offer

ENDED:

hmc_ will be granted 4 leases and Marquess_Loaf will be granted 1

1 Billion M Bounty

Town needs a google sheet similar to Market Maker sheet where all NPC can be created at a % rate and spoiled at % rate--it would basically fill in the rate of spoil and create and list all the npc in game so you could copy/paste the commands into the CK CLI. First one with a working model wins the prize.

Something like this?

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aV2WLXrz0wD2eiAX3Has55wZ_GhwpwBqed11Bonzxx4/edit?usp=sharing

That's the spoil portion anyhow.  Need more information on the create part.  Let me know if I'm going in the right direction.

That's definitely the right direction : )

Could it create a percentage (1-100) of those that were spoiled?

YM, please see questions in purple below.

Mining 1676

5 Mining Leases will be sold at the King's discretion between now and the end of 1776. These leases will be for 100 miners who produce 48 ORE per gm-yr [see ORE below].Is this 48 ORE per miner or 48 ORE per 100 miner? These leases will cost 3.5 Billion per lease and run up until the full initialization of Clans, at which time, depending on the Clan's rules, they may be nullified, sold outright, or some other arrangement may be made.

The Mining workforce will dissipate at a rate of 1-20% per yr based on d-20 roll. TOWN (most likely, though ATM Town seems MIA, and other arrangements are pending if need be) will create and sell 50 MINERS a gm-yr to offset losses.is the expectation to sell these miners no less than 35 Mil? Is there a restriction on buying them outside of lease? Is the lease a separate item?

ORE is a catchall mineral used for basic production of arms, vehicles and other goods. Its main function ATM will be to act as iron and brass for the production of arms and carriages.WIll this be a manual conversion or will it utilize framework like the IC shop? Are there projected figures on the amount of ore required to create arms and carriages?

Lease offers are to be made here and will be granted by the King's discretion (main considerations will be game activity, with a preference for newer players looking to learn the NPC and production side of the game, with d-20 to be invoked in case of a tie). How can loans be structured, if required, for newer players who would like to commit to this but otherwise may not have the funding, or have access to the funding due to perceived lack of interest in bo market? I'd rather have a newer player do it and wouldn't want to impede their interest, or potential to profit.

2 leases will automatically be granted to myself so as RWC and RCC production are in no way (greatly) hindered.Do the funds used to purchase these leases go to town? Please note that more leases may be granted in the future if the production falls short of Corp needs or fails to meet the market at reasonable rate.

hmc_

-- 48 ORE per MINER

-- Freemarket rules;  freemarket rules;  lease is agreement for initial 100 MINERS (per lease) and entitles buyer to priority consideration once Clans is fully implemented and Clan's design alters this configuration of a mining system (it's more a Gentleman's agreement than a lawful contract as neither party knows HOW Clans will influence MINERS in the future).

-- There are no plans to make an IC shop type building module. Corps will have to manually consume the ORE for production needs based upon an ADMIN approved rate per item. This is RWC and RCC's google sheet created by kidjim https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1c7zWVNWcATR-PC30xeiZYCLS9hVP0gup8CCK06P78Pc/edit#gid=1494571181

-- Game has a history of players creating business/loan/cooperative instruments for themselves and King has no wish to impede or restrict  this natural part of gameplay (but will abstain from actively pursuing it--though will consider interesting proposals if they arise).

Good questions Smiley

House Loaf (along with the remnants of House Syksy) and the County of Petrichor would be honoured to send other men to dig:

You'll still need a to bid on a lease @ 3.5 Billion.

I bid on a lease @ 3.5 bil M. I may be interested in more as well depending on what market interest is.

I'll decide based on all the bids, so you can bid on up to 3 of them, and if no one else bids, you'll most likely get all of them (though I may take another for RWC in that event).

The Crew of HMY Moya (Class SH-FUBBS) has the welcome pleasure of reporting a sunny and uneventful trip. The tides were gentle, the sails full and the sun warmed us through the days. The only noteworthy event was a great haul of 13k SAL that Neptune Himself seemed to have prodded into our nets. We pray that the rest of HM's Yachts have such splendid fishing in the months to come.
