The game can be open sourced, the DB high-jacked, and we freemen can go about our business undeterred by TPTB.

In fact I just shamelessly did it myself   Roll Eyes

While compensating the owners of the game with a free spinoff of about 9% of the shares of the new project to keep good relations. (Stock was free for me but is valuable to the recipients.)

Note open source doesn't magically guarantee anything. Vtrash (aka Vanillacoin) is open source also.

The will and the know-how has to be there also.

The artist himself said things that undermine your argument (duh).

The definition of 'compartmentalization' which applies in the context I employed, may help you understand.

The game can be open sourced, the DB high-jacked, and we freemen can go about our business undeterred by TPTB.

Also, LJ said what the murals were about, anything you or the "Rothschild's" infer is wishful thinking, but you can believe it until your dying day and nobody will stop you from being wrong--IE, you'll need more proof than this could mean that or they could have done that this way (it's conjecture on your part, and there's no good reason for me to believe it any more than the next guys conjecture--what I believe is the artist, his ability to perform his function as he or she states and not to be drugged or hypnotized into the whims of whomever--unless of course you have evidence that can be verified--ie. I believe in the CIA's MK Ultra scheme because there is evidence and hearings based on that evidence that is readily available and verified by multiple sources--some dude I talk to on the internet doesn't qualify here and you have yet to produce any evidence outside of conjecture and cherry picking a few details to reconfirm and further entrench a hunch into a belief.).

...

rpietila (Your Majesty King Crichton)

Some months ago I took a short stroll through bits & pieces of Crypto Kingdom, but it did not look like my cup of tea.  An interesting idea, but I guess I am too old.

Yet, you seem to be up to interesting things.  Saving Europe is a big task, even if you are doing so from a relatively free country and even from a castle.  Bravo.

Do keep us (you too iamnotback) informed of efforts and ideas re FREEDOM, a topic of much interest to me.  iamnotback once mentioned Pitcairn Island (very low population).

*  *  *

Just for my curiosity (and likely for many others), is there a Summary available of what you are thinking or what you want to do?  If you are inviting smart activists to your place to make important changes, please let us know.  (I don't want to know any confidential/secret matters).

Note that I have no relevant skills, don't like cold weather and my wife wouldn't let me go there anyway...  So you do not have to worry about me trying to breach your gates...

Smiley

Count Wannabe Bearing Linchpin of the Neoptropics

I'm so jealous of your title Smiley

Risto will have to speak to the designs of MK and CK, but there is market feedback between the two and it shows how CK can interact with platforms outside of the game and in the physical world. My comments above about the ability to fork and start again at any saved point of the DB illustrate how a potential TPTB attack could be handled--though for now the game isn't large enough to be on any radars (though Finland and MK might change that).

As soon as you say "I believe I don't need to understand the game," and then spout off about a top-down design (when the game is in fact more of a decentralized design), shows that step one of your argument is flawed.

I am sorry but the inkblot is you not understanding that it is not decentralized in a technologically (and thus economically) useful way w.r.t. what technologically would drive a gaming ecosystem (on the diversity scale that is relevant to Bitcoin's scale), because it implausible for rpietila to understand the technological issues involved with doing so (because it is not his area of expertise, experience, and interests ... he is smart enough).

I don't need to study the game to know it is the case.

Please you wasted my time in the Steemit thread. And you are wasting precious time here with your inkblots. I have work to do. Don't you.

As for you repeated ink blot assessment of the art of the Denver Airport, you can go back to Michelangelo's giving the Pope the finger and a few other gems in his Sistine Chapel to show that no amount of spending, cajoling, or life threatening, can keep an artist from putting his or her own spin into a work

I never disagreed with that. But that doesn't mean there aren't some artists who would love to express a certain theme that just happens to coincide with the aims of someone who wants to fund it. Did you really think I thought Rothschild called up the artist and said, "paint the Economic Collapse Armageddon"? Obviously it was compartmentalization.

That particular artist had been painting those themes well before the Denver airport, which is probably why he was chosen. Duh.

That is not a logically valid retort against my claim that it is a ("fuck you", "nothing you can do about it", "enshrining our superiority", "subconscious demoralization", etc) message from the global elite.

There is no way you are able to put those sort of shocking images EXCLUSIVELY (no variety of themes) on a massive public works project with a transparent democratic process. And it is exceedingly unlikely it is random. Someone decided.

The inkblots are all yours because you are conflating orthogonal concerns.

The artist himself said things that undermine your argument (duh).
1565  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: November 04, 2016, 05:14:00 AM
My point is you don't even understand the game enough to comment on it.

I believe I don't need to understand the game to know that one person top-down managing an ecosystem does not scale and that economically subsumes your value of it as art. I understand that game ecosystems are more about the technological and economic platform, than about the insight held by the creator of the platform into the non-technical aspect of the design of games.

I also know that the art at Denver airport was financed by globalist sympathizers and thus reflects their vision of the future. Your value of the art aspect is orthogonal to my point. There is premeditated theme of the art, because you don't allow some random shit at a major infrastructure project and then randomly have it all adhere to a single diabolical theme. And in terms of understanding global economic politics and our collective future, my analysis of that subsumes your value of it as art. I might even appreciate the creativity of the art, but that is rather small value in comparison.

And I don't time to waste arguing with you.

As soon as you say "I believe I don't need to understand the game," and then spout off about a top-down design (when the game is in fact more of a decentralized design), shows that step one of your argument is flawed.

As for you repeated ink blot assessment of the art of the Denver Airport, you can go back to Michelangelo's giving the Pope the finger and a few other gems in his Sistine Chapel to show that no amount of spending, cajoling, or life threatening, can keep an artist from putting his or her own spin into a work, but we've had this argument before--so no point in you losing it a second time (both meanings implied in the last statement).

Ditto, but I'm bored and you went out of your way to start it Wink
1566  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: November 04, 2016, 04:21:24 AM
One game to fit them all is not the game plan. I think you miss that the game's market is the linchpin for success and it can be adapted to many styles and designs--even many coins.

You debated me on Steem and I was proven correct. Are you going to try to debate me again on technology ecosystems?

Sure, as long as we are going back in time, to drudge up past debates, we can go to your theory on the Denver Airport and see that my knowledge about art and grab-bag delusional psychology made you so mad that you swore you were done with BCT (again).

That's neither here nor there. My point is you don't even understand the game enough to comment on it. So either research it enough to where you can hold your end of an intelligent conversation or let it go. I don't think it's too much ask for someone to understand what they are attacking.
1567  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: November 04, 2016, 02:43:13 AM
The game is a work of art, monero hasn't even released a GUI and you are continuing in a long line of failure pronouncements

So you are saying that when Monero releases a GUI then Crypto Kingdom will become a game for the masses  Huh

As if one game fits all would ever be true.  Roll Eyes

It can be a work-of-art and still be not relevant on the scale of Bitcoin, which was my point.

I'm not conflating Monero's success with CK's success, MK would also fit in that picture as well as the game itself--the mechanisms for success are adaptable.

One game to fit them all is not the game plan. I think you miss that the game's market is the linchpin for success and it can be adapted to many styles and designs--even many coins.

Your third point about BTC's scale is non-statement--sure it could be this or that, but what is it, that's the important question. I've done my homework, but I guess you'll catch up when someone pokes the right button.
1568  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: November 04, 2016, 02:04:09 AM
I clicked this thread because I wanted to see what rpietila might be commenting about the recent news that impacted the Bitcoin price. Then I see something about someone being drugged and murder threatened... so then I thought maybe this thread is some stupid TV drama which I don't have time to waste on...

rpietila, I don't have time to wander into reading about what is going on in Europe such as corrupt Finnish officials. Who cares! I don't know why you are wasting your time in the morass. The future is Asia. Why have you not gone East to a dynamic environment instead walling yourself into a castle in the dying Europe.

At least I have an excuse for my delirium because I am suffering liver disease due to some yet unknown destruction of my digestive system by a perforated ulcer. I have a valid excuse for sometimes not thinking clearly and being out-of-touch with reality.

But it seems to me you are doing it on purpose to yourself? I know you are a very smart man, but it seems you seek out and attract the flies and problems around yourself. You had that one success with the silver they impounded (with some thanks to me for suggesting you sell the impounded silver!) and now seem to relish the role of the victim in a dysfunctional collapsing Europe. I would much rather be the productive person in the dynamic economy.

FWIW, I see no point in building more problems around myself. I have enough already.

The solutions going forward are not fighting that which is broken, but routing around them entirely as the broken systems  implode. You were given talents (capital) and the opportunity to fund or speculate in great technical work (or results if you prefer), and instead you bought a castle (which you know I pleaded with you not to do) and creating what seem to me to be delusional tangents which aren't aligned with the fundamental decentralization concept of what made Bitcoin a phenomenon. The Parable of the Talents implores you to not bury your talents in the ground. I have no idea if you've been successfully speculating with your crypto-currency, or throwing it down rat holes.

I predict you will become irrelevant (on the scale of Bitcoin) if you continue this direction of actively seeking failure. You might be relevant on some scale within Europe's morass, if that is what you prefer.

You know I tried to allude to this in a private message recently. So it isn't like I am wanting to attack you in public. I consider you my friend (or at least a business acquaintance) from before and I don't see the rationality in what you've been doing ever since you got wealthy on Bitcoin. First you created a massive bubble in XMR advising all the n00bs to buy hand and fist. That was after your laptop was hacked because you left it at the pool. And then apparently committed to a mental institution. And then some Crypto Kingdom game which afaik is entirely irrelevant on any scale of significance to humanity. And now I am reading all this strange stuff. There was that cryptography forum you created with this circle of circle jerking backslappers that seem to whorship you, which I got banned from because I tried to tell them frankly. Etc...

Matthew 7 applies and I am confident someone could write disparaging details about my life also. Just out-of-concern for you, I try to slap you and wake you up from what seems to me to be delusion.

If you could have slapped me in July 2012 and convinced me to not lose $75,000 on some stupid speculation following a newsletter writer, then my health problem would probably have been fixed years ago. Sometimes that is what friends are for.

The game is a work of art, monero hasn't even released a GUI and you are continuing in a long line of failure pronouncements without ever beginning anything yourself (at least not recently)--just because you are good at talking yourself out of doing, doesn't mean the rest of us have to roll over and play dead. Dude, I think of you as a friend and acknowledge your brilliance, but if you can't see a pattern to your online life, then you haven't been tending to your own house.

Just want to gloss over the CC prizes and give some feedback as to their use or what makes them collectable.

1 AS1600E 1600 Collectible gold coin (Bss Asenath) Gold 80 (total) 5 (weight in ckg): Every hundred years, some players are given the right to make their own historical coin, they define the weight, the design and the issuance, so they can become very significant collectables or heirlooms that sometimes have historical or personal value layered on top of their purely speculative/stat values.

500 BEER (H: 2): When the game is unpaused, you will need to consume beer, wine and other food stuff to keep your character alive and healthy. The "H: 2" is a health value point that indicates how much health points consuming one of that item will produce. So in the case of BEER, you will get 2 health points for each one consumed.

12,600 CAN [Green herbs] (H: 1, Wis: 1): You can't live on beer alone and wisdom is key in any game as complex as CK, so luckily, we have CAN to CONSUME and give us some earthy WIS to guide us on our journey. There are items that give you more wisdom and health points, but cannabis remains one of the favorites to trade and consume in large batches.

1,000 CK Crypto Kingdom: More in line with a traditional crypto-currency, CK has more liquidity than other items in the kingdom and offers a way to amass control in the game through voting power--50K being the threshold for Senate .Our GM will have to cover the fine details of issuance procedure, but the main focus here was to increase liquidity, offer gamestock and have a more corporate avenue for control--more agrarian mechanics, though mining is still an interesting proposition from a mobile standpoint.

Stopping here for the moment, as the markets mentioned seem indicative of the current structure; though variables, more corporate offerings and marketing efforts, should create future renditions that will outpace less sophisticated designs--Risto has built a very adaptable machine, and once the outlands/badlands area is defined for more open-source gameplay, it should have the mobile gamebox feel you as the gametime expands into modern warfare--this doesn't relinquish control of the gameboard design, but underscores deeper and more immersive battlefields that are easily redefined for more unique gameplay. Place your bot-team head-to-head on a no-rules quest for asset acquisition and control the market becomes  the new Leroy Jenkins and lone wolf spec-ops missions are global events in the privacy of your own home. This game's ability to morph design, market and gameplay, along with fluid moves between player and admin tasks, gives it its own shelf at the mmorpg table. Enjoy.

What is going to happen with my land and house now ? It still says it will pay out 0m /year. Before it said 29k or something now its 0. So now what is going to be done about this ?

This is going to get fixed in the database. You have nothing to do now. It is a bug, apparently caused by the pause, which is apparently only halfway in effect. Sorry about that.

Once this is fixed, the game will still be in pause until further notice, so no tax and no income until time starts again. Once it does start, payouts will be recalculated (they were forced to the Office pool recently by the GM).

Again, sorry about the state of it all, and the hassle in getting it fixed. It should be at most a day, from what I've heard.

The Wizzard (developer) PJ is looking into this matter, but there is no word on how long it will take, so a day may or may not be a fair assessment, but if it's not restored by the magic of the DB by the start of the Coin Contest, the King will grant Zarth a house in Borough One.

A man's house is his Kingdom and should never be subject to the fickleness of powers outside of his control, and if the unforeseeable happens, he should get comfort and support from his neighbors and the state--hopefully none of us have forgotten how vulnerable one can feel when they first arrive in the Kingdom, and how the loss of a house is much a loss of your property as it is your hopes and dreams for the future.

Also, since the man is living in the streets at the moment, Zarth will stay with me at the Palace until his house is repaired and be given a fine suit on his departure--please pick from these: https://cryptokingdom.me/player/playerItems/1/WOS (the purple and blue being off limits as per the rules on suit colors and level).

hmc_

Zarth, the bad news is the house's destruction didn't register in any of the logs, so there's no way to restore it. PJ went through 7 backups and couldn't find a trace of it--this goes to what Risto was talking about with the building modules, and they are being adjusted as we speak so this type of thing doesn't happen again.

The good news is that you can upgrade to a Borough One house (https://cryptokingdom.me/land/lot/details/169), and a new suit as stipulated in the earlier post, and you still have the lot in B4.

If you'd rebuild on the B4 lot rather than accept the Borough One house, a refund of the 1mil purchase price can be arranged.

Storytelling by tombot (215), part 3 (reported a few days after the actual adventure)

Buying this house in 4-NW was the best thing I could ever have done. Right away I found some friendly and helpful neighbors. One man I have previously traded gold coins with showed up to welcome us wearing 2 pistols in his belt so I immediately knew I had arrived in the right place. We had a nice long talk about pistols and the best gun powder to use. Looking forward to having some shooting practice with him in the nearby woods. Squirrels beware!

My gold coin collection is growing, feels good to accomplish things with hard work. Working on this task relentlessly as the (tom) bot I am Smiley

Somehow the silver and copper coins does not attract me that much. Bought a few of them and have some bids in the market. But I feel gold is the way to go!

I donated 1000 CAN to the user CoinContest (userID 160) https://cryptokingdom.me/player/playerItems/160
Will donate more later this week, not many players have donated so far, very strange...

Now I am looking to get more land with or without buildings, I am interested in all kinds of trades. Maybe you want some hard to find items and you have land that you do not use, I can exchange gold coins (CR1628A, CR1631E, CR1633A, CR1634A, CR1636A, CR1639A, CR1640A, CR1640B, CR1641A), S-CAN, SW2, a letter of Baronetcy (our King is notified of it), etc... against land. Contact me for exchange deals, I have done some already with a couple of players. I will also be active in the webchat soon.

to be continued, but probably not before the end of the coin contest...

The coin contest is about to start...

...but what of each coin? I know this one weighs 5grams, and I know that one was made the year of our gold's bicentennial, but what of the bearer and the crest? And who made the charge? What was battle like? We are told to remember the date, not the tally, because a tally can fail. But a coin can be scored. So its value is never forgotten, and in two hundred years, you can storyboard the war. I've witnessed firsthand the power of these dates. I've seen people give names to them; and pay fortunes to defend them. Some cannot play without reward. So here's a list of prizes--there's even a door--but an ancient one, owned by lords, of all kinds--the state, the treasurer, the king, the church and magcal head I've not yet met. It's with great honor the contest is set

for remember, remember
the fifth of November
we honor the coins we collect.
I don't know of a reason
why this contest is in season
we should ever forget.

A few new commands have been added fairly recently, so it's as good a time as any to hit the refresh button--I tend to forget them myself and need the help command to remind me, so let's start there (I'll cover the first few here as many after that are for admin or market veterans):

help:gives you a list of commands.

consume: (consume/command+item_id+quantity; example "consume can 100") This is used to eat, drink, or destroy an item you own--we'll only worry about the eating and drinking. If you're a single player, you'll have to eat and drink to survive, so stocking up on items is a good idea as later you'll need to consume them--this is also a status symbol among the game's elite and shows that you not only recognize quality, but also that you aren't afraid to show it.

buy: (buy/command+item_id+max_quantity+max_price; example "buy ck 1000 9100") This is used to buy items in the game. Set your buy price and as those items become available, your order will be filled--if you're new to command line, try it with a few small items until you're comfortable with the process.

buysell: (buysell/command+item_id+max_quantity+buy_max_price+sell_min_price; example "buysell coh 10 445000 925000") This is used to set an a buy-order, which triggers a counter sell-order with the items you just purchased--fun stuff! Be wary of setting the units too high; AFAIK the entire buy-order needs to be filled to set the counter sell-order.

sell: (sell/command+item_id+max_quantity+min_price); example "sell IC 500 7600") Used to sell items with a user-set amount and minimum price--if you're new to market commands, it will sell into all bids set above your min-price and what orders aren't filled will become a standing order.

sellbuy: (sellbuy/command+item_id+max_quanity+sell_min_price+buy_min_price; example "sellbuy coh 11 655000 1100000") If you got the buysell command, you probably got this already, so I'll go a bit deeper into the use of this command: use it in conjunction with the other commands to control markets--this game is new, the markets are as tiny as a few rare items to as large as an entire economy made up of interlocking parts. In more general terms, it can be played by any level player. Twenty bucks and you can play market-maker, and if you plan well and take into consideration the risk/reward ratio of proven markets versus new markets, you can do well for yourself when the doors re-open for the consumable markets.

Is there a way to check the bids I have made in the marketplace?, I don't think I have enough Moneretos to cover the bids I have made, will I be punished if someone sells into the my bids for not having enough to cover?

AFAIK you'd have yo to go through every item you believe you made bids on and cancel them....luckily there is a cancelall command, which will cancel all of your bids/asks.

Type:CANCELALL ALLXXX

Hit: Enter

And you should be fine. This command has not always worked during testing of DB related stuff, so I always put up a small bid or ask to make sure it removes it (more for my own piece of mind, than anything). I thought there was some chatter about making the market cancel your bids automatically if you run out of M, but I could be mistaken or it might have never been implemented, so best to use the cancelall command until you read or hear otherwise.

The land and property says its 1milliom M wtf is M ? I know its currency but is a million of is 1 xmr ? There limited amounts or what ?

I want a house and land for 1xmr but I will only get it after the weekend when I'm paid. I dont want to miss out Sad I'm new and have no odes what is going on I just see some opportunity here to make profits while I have fun and increase the value of the xmr and altcoin community.

M is the in-game currency. XMR is what you deposit into and withdrawal from the game (instead of euro or dollars like most games).

1,000,000m = 1xmr on deposit or withdrawal. Does that make more sense?

And welcome to the game! Smiley

Yes thank you that makes perfect sense now. I knew xmr was the main currency just inside if the ingsme currency was still worth xmr or not and Noe I see that it is which is what I wanted. I think less serious games have seperste currencies although you can sometimes buy and sell. Bit in cryptokingdom you dont have to sorry about it.

I will admit though I most have played the "action fast paced and fancy graphic type RPGs" like wow and such. I'm talking about what was said in the beginner guide about if the names suited for you. But I use to play tabletop d & d and consider that roleplaying more then games. Games are great but you can't do what you want. Although elder scrolls does an amazing job especially since players can create stories for others to enjoy in the form of quests.

Cryptokingdom is pretty much like a pen and paper RPG about life and living in an economy. You use your imagination as you would reading a good book. I can see a lot of thought has been taken into making this game. I also am open minded to anything even if it sounds crap at first.
