1241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: could this be the best week for litecoin on: March 13, 2019, 10:45:15 PM
LTC's still got a ways to go upwards IMO- I see LTC as one of the alts that are going to lead BTC and the entire market out of the bear market we're currently in while BTC rises along in tow. I recall something similar happened with alts having greater gains than BTC while we exited the prior bear market before the ATH in late 2017. We'll have to see, but LTC's still got plenty of upwards momentum and I could see it breaking over $60 in the next month or two.
1242  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: S15 BRAND NEW MINERS - AT TESLAWATT in NEVADA! on: March 13, 2019, 12:19:02 PM
under your sites services I can only see 2 5kw GPU packages, what are your asic monthly options? eg. 1 asic only to a package of 5 or 10 units?
Just looked at their site and under the Prices section of the FAQ they list monthly prices for individual ASICs if that’s what you’re asking about (click for link):

Code:
Antminer S9 = $72
Antminer S15 = $93
Antminer L3+ = $46
Antminer L3++ = $49
Antminer Z9 mini = $25
Antminer Z9 = $66
Antminer T15 = $90
Antminer DR3 = $82
Obelisc SC1 = $30
Dayun Z1+ = $70
Innosilicon S11 = $80
DragonMint T1 = $85

Also, GLWS! You seem like a reasonably reputable member around here, may consider buying hosting for one S15. Does the $1000 for not hosting cover shipping to the continental US?
1243  Economy / Services / Re: Spotify Upgrade Service (Your Account) $1 ricbyte.com on: March 12, 2019, 12:30:45 PM
Those legit or hacked accounts?
To my knowledge all of these upgrading services utilize hacked family accounts to make the upgrade (thus the low price) and there’s none or very few out there that use legitimate accounts to do the upgrade despite whatever these people say. That being said I’ve used services like this one before without issue, but the premium went away after a few months or weeks and it’s at your own risk.
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will an increase in bitcoin price affect the gambling industry on: March 11, 2019, 10:29:12 PM
An increase in Bitcoin's price means that more people will notice Bitcoin and potentially invest in it, and by extension people that are gamblers might also notice Bitcoin and put some money into BTC or other cryptocurrencies to gamble with, and this'll result in a growth in crypto gambling.

Cryptocurrency-based gambling's been growing over the last few years simply due to an increase in demand for anonymous gambling alone too. We're currently in a bear market and likely not out of it yet as there could continue to be a few months of sideways action or even a new low in the next few months, but crypto gambling will likely still grow even through these times simply because people are willing to pay a premium to gamble anonymously.
1245  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Good wallet to store USDT ? on: March 11, 2019, 10:10:16 PM
does ledger support USDT?
Not officially IIRC as there doesn't officially seem to be any sort of app available out there for storing USDT on a Ledger, but USDT is now available on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC20 token and you should be able to store your USDT using your Ledger device and MyEtherWallet as MEW allows you to unlock your wallet with a number of hardware wallets like Ledger, Trezor and KeepKey as well. I've only ever used MEW with an old privkey and I haven't used any of my hardware wallets with them before, but I only see positive things around about MEW's compatibility with hardware wallets.
1246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think should I buy for 1 year? on: March 11, 2019, 08:44:23 PM
BTC, ETH, LTC or even XLM are all pretty decent buys if you're holding for the mid to long-term IMO. XLM started climbing upwards this week but still has a great amount of upwards potential, ETH and LTC seem to be both be leading the market out of the worst of the bear market so far and have great potential in the mid to long-term, and BTC's a great buy with new tech in play. Plus, the halving will be happening in just over over 400 days which should have some sort of impact on prices too. There's no guarantee prices will rise from where they are currently for most coins and tokens, nor a guarantee that we'll be out of the bear market, but the coins I've listed make up the majority of my crypto portfolio and I've got good confidence in 'em.
1247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need opinion about Decentralized Gambling and Profit Sharing on: March 11, 2019, 08:31:07 PM
Most of these 'decentralized' gambling sites linked in the OP also don't seem to offer anything new from what more centralized casinos offer and are often less user-friendly than centralized casinos as well. I'm all for decentralized crypto services, but I just don't see any significant advantages of these newer sites over traditional centralized crypto casinos at the moment, and some sites even seem to try to hide where the site code is so the few people that want to check the site code can't do so easily. Seems like a gimmick to me for now, but I'm still keeping an eye on decentralized gambling in case things improve in the future.
1248  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find upcoming event of any coin/token? on: March 11, 2019, 08:22:56 PM
Does it mean that every project news about it's upcoming events can be gotten from following those link?
Honestly am lost or is there something am missing?
Yup, the links in OP list important events about coins and tokens, mostly smaller alts from what I can see.

Seems pretty comprehensive as well except for the smallest coins from what I can tell, definitely keeping this thread in my list of crypto-related resources. You can always visit the Announcements (Altcoins) section (click for link) on this forum for updates on coins you're holding or watching as well. Plenty of discussion in that section every day.
1249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which Trading Bot do you use ? Are you glad from it And Is it Safe ? on: March 11, 2019, 02:25:52 PM
I used Gunbot for some time with decent results, but in the end I stopped using the bot because it still did require some maintenance to keep making a profit and I prefer to manually make trades. Setup also takes some time and it isn't as simple as you might think.

I haven't ever used a free trading bot as I'd much rather use one that has reputation and has been around for some time, though I'm sure there are good free bots out there too.
1250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Psychological Technique - Play without Pressure on: March 11, 2019, 12:52:01 AM
I got rid of stress in trading and gambling (for the most part, I still do stress on some trades and gambles) simply through playing more and experience. You'll become less stressed and/or pressured when you become more confident at something, and a lack of confidence can sometimes happen as a result of a lack of experience on a subject. You also do play and trade differently when real money's at stake, so I usually play with real money when I practice things like trading or betting and gambling. It's extremely difficult to remove emotions from the picture in trading too, but if you make an effort to do so over time, you'll become better.
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICO isn't recommended earning site ? on: March 11, 2019, 12:31:35 AM
Submitting KYC for sites other than ICOs can be dangerous as well, with one example being the Blockchain.info $25 XLM giveaway. $25 might seem pretty attractive considering all you have to do is submit a few documents, and there's a relatively low chance your information will ever be sold and/or leaked, but that chance is still there and identity theft can cost you much, much more than $25.

Besides that, we're in still in a bear market. A lot of projects have failed and will continue to fail in these market conditions; really not a great time to invest in ICOs and newer projects as a whole imo. I'm personally just DCAing into larger alts and BTC.
1252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cardano (ADA) Remains Bullish And Overtakes Bitcoin SV on: March 11, 2019, 12:19:15 AM
Total market cap's not the most important thing in a coin, but it's nice to see BCH SV's continuing its fall down from the list of top market cap coins. Volume still remains significantly higher for BCH SV than Cardano from what I can see on Coinmarketcap, but I still see the coin falling in price in the mid to long-term. A movement above $60 in LTC (LTC seems to be leading the market as of right now to me) might just be what helps Cardano get farther past BCH SV.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Poker Site on: March 11, 2019, 12:06:02 AM
I've used Nitrogensports multiple times in the past without issue with withdrawals or anything of the sort with their sportsbook and casino as well as their poker game a bit, but I've noticed more issues with them reported on these forums than usual, especially with things related to withdrawals and support, though most of the issues against the site have been resolved (albeit slowly). I'm personally staying away from the site for now due to those issues, but the site's pretty decent otherwise.
1254  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PayPal SCAMMERS - Warning on: March 10, 2019, 11:50:23 PM
Thank you for this post! I've started back up selling some of my miners on eBay recently after I stopped selling on the platform due to people pretending their packages didn't arrive and losing cases, etc, pulling all my listings right now again. I've always known PayPal's generally against any transactions related to cryptocurrency, but I had no idea they're starting to go after people selling physical goods related to crypto too. Seems like a lot of fiat services related to finance are going after crypto now from the posts I can see in this section recently as well.
1255  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best DEX for date ? on: March 09, 2019, 04:12:31 AM
I used Waves DEX quite often in the past and it was fine for what it was; volume was never great on the platform and it still isn't that good compared to more centralized exchanges, but the DEX client worked fine and was relatively easy to use and navigable. You can click here for more information on the Waves DEX platform. Pretty sure Waves made their DEX accessible on not only their desktop client but on their website as well, though I'm not completely sure as I haven't used it in a few months.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on android phone on: March 09, 2019, 04:04:26 AM
You sure can mine BTC or any nearly any other alt with your phone, but the problem is it's just not going to be profitable at all. All phones have terrible heat dissipation due to a lack of active cooling, and you're not doing your phone a favor by mining on it. If you're trying to mine alts, though, your PC is likely going to perform better than a phone at mining, though you'll have to take into account what hardware you have and your electrical rates to determine whether or not you're profitable or not.

If you have a laptop, do not mine with that either. Laptops are also generally crap with heat dissipation, not worth your time.
1257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: March 08, 2019, 01:49:25 PM
I actually personally started gambling from ingame lootboxes in the game CS:GO where I was losing significant sums of money through the game’s case system (even after unboxing two knives), but it is at least somewhat concerning to me that younger children play these games and they might get money onto their steam accounts and start opening cases expecting to get expensive skins from them. Still not a big problem in my eyes yet considering you really don’t hear many cases of addiction to crates and unboxings quite often.
1258  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you think is the most surprising thing in the History of Bitcoin? on: March 08, 2019, 01:43:56 PM
The simple fact that Bitcoin went from being pretty much free to hitting near $20K at the ATH in 2017’s the most impressive thing about Bitcoin to me. I remember people talking about how there used to be faucets for whole bitcoins back when BTC was just launched and worth a few pennies- sure, BTC wasn’t worth a whole lot back then, but that still blows my mind to this day.

Something else related to price that was impressive to me was how BTC went from its lows of $200 in 2015 to reaching $20,000 in just two years.  I recall there were fears that BTC would simply bleed to zero around that time, and though we’re now in another bear market, I think very few people now believe BTC will bleed down to zero from here again.
1259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Strategy on: March 07, 2019, 09:42:23 PM
Strategies do not work for games like dice, slots or roulette where house edges are implemented and you're guaranteed to make a loss in the long run as a result as the member above me has noted, but strategy is definitely possible in betting. I regularly bet on esports matches, especially CS:GO matches, and I've managed to stay well in the green this year and last year through careful management of my funds and managing risk and reward. It's not easy to make a profit in betting, and luck can still cause you to temporarily be in a losing streak, but with correct risk management and good strategies you can definitely come out in the green.
1260  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Top 3 advices Regarding Bitcoin Investing on: March 07, 2019, 09:36:14 PM
Here's a few of my tips personally:

1. Don't invest more than you can afford to lose. This should be applied to any sort of investment or gamble you take in life. If you cannot afford to lose what you have, do NOT invest. Even the best traders sometimes lose money.

2. You don't need a hardware wallet for coin storage, especially for long-term storage. Paper wallets work just fine in the long run, though they should ideally just be topped up once and spent once. Make sure if you're going down the paper wallet route you're storing your paper wallet in a place with low humidity and low light levels so the wallet's still usable in the future when you transfer the coins off it to an exchange or another address.

Hardware wallets are good for if you're holding coins but also occasionally transferring coins out at the same time. Ledger and Trezor hardware wallets both work just fine.

3. Don't instantly sell off the moment coin prices drop! Holding generally works out in the long run, and BTC's going to make you go through a rollercoaster of emotions in most cases through prices fluctuating. If you need money badly, then by all means sell part or all of your coins, but learn to control your emotions. You'll be rewarded for doing so.
