501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Creating a gambling platform, follow the journey on: October 09, 2019, 10:51:15 PM
Sounds like a decent platform on paper, though I'm probably going to wait to test your site out 'till you add Bitcoin deposits in. Additionally, I assume by your advertising not being a 'Bustabit clone', you aren't going to use the main parts of the bustabit source code to make your crash game? There's really not much that could make you stand out from the rest of the hundreds of crash sites currently out there accepting crypto tbh, though your basic description of the site makes it seem somewhat attractive. Are there any unique aspects of your game that aren't already implemented in other crash games?
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoin casino bankroll on: October 09, 2019, 10:32:11 PM

If I may ask, why do you like to invest and earn interest on crypto casino sites?

It can be a relatively lucrative and low-risk (depends how you're treating it) way of making some money from the coins you already hold. The more established casinos that accept investments are also less likely to run off with your money, so the risk with plain theft is relatively low, though there's always a chance that your investment could be wiped out if a whale wins a large amount of crypto on whatever site you've invested on.

You could also just put your coins into something like BlockFi for interest on your coins as well; I believe the site's offering up to 8.6% annual compounded APR at the moment for investments under 5 BTC or something like that, and it's potentially lower risk than investing in a bankroll.
503  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has 2 important support lines, possible break to 6k area ? on: October 09, 2019, 10:27:25 PM
We've already made a potential triple bottom from looking at the 1D timeframe with a few wicks down into the $7750 region and an ensuing bounce afterwards, but I could still see a drop to the $6ks in the next few weeks and months if the bearish momentum continues and we end up with a large upwards wick before today's close, though I personally don't think that's going to happen. Sentiment does appear to be extremely bearish in most places, though, which is making me reconsider any sort of leveraged short or any trade for that matter. I'll probably just hold my coins for now.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most stable asset or currency? on: October 09, 2019, 10:19:43 PM

USDT can maintain the quantitative value of your money but you may lose value in the long run due to rising inflation. If you plan to keep your money in the long term, I recommend you to invest in bitcoin or gold, because these assets will not easily lose value. Especially in the globalizing world, they will gain much value and protect your money in the long run.

Bitcoin's got a lot of great potential and I don't doubt that, but just as OP stated, it's extremely volatile at the moment and there are definitely better options to keep your money with at the moment. The same volatility that creates immense gains for holders is also the same volatility that causes some people to lose money.

I would suggest against keeping your money in stablecoins for extended periods of time, especially not with something like Tether. Tether's pretty shady in my eyes and I wouldn't risk keeping my money with them, though there's a case to be made with some other stablecoins like USDC. Keeping your money in straight fiat's the simplest option.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling risk is higher when we are on Bear Market? on: October 09, 2019, 10:14:02 PM
The mindset you should always be in is lost money's lost and whatever you're making after a loss is just profit and you're not trying to make back what's been lost. It sucks to lose money, but it sucks more to lose it all instead of losing a certain percentage of what you invested. I'd actually just cut losses in this scenario and keep whatever's left and maybe sell off some of the coins, though I'd prefer to keep at least a bit of coin for when prices rise back up again. Bitcoin's great and you've got a great chance of making money with it, but at some point you need to just cut losses.

Don't gamble things away especially if you cannot afford to lose that money, though you shouldn't be investing money you can't afford to lose in the first place.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: October 09, 2019, 09:50:03 PM
Depends who I'm going with and how dense a particular crowd is; I'm fine with things being a little bit cramped if necessary, but I also agree that what's been posted by OP is extremely crowded and I'd probably avoid a casino that packed.

Also depends how good the casino is; I've never been to Macau, but I'd definitely go to any one of the casinos there just to see how things are even if it's a bit crowded. I've always wanted to, but I've also lacked the time to do so.
507  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't send any fund if it's been requested by email suddenly" on: October 08, 2019, 08:17:00 PM
Another way you could attempt to confirm things would be to go to the livechat of whatever site you were supposedly messaged from, though this won't work for all sites because some sites only have email-based support systems, and it's possible that the livechat could potentially be compromised just like an email from a site you use. I would also agree with checking on places like this forum for any important news- threads about widespread issues usually start appearing very soon after they come up.

You should also be extremely careful about what links might be present in one of these emails. Don't click on anything suspicious, especially when it's accompanied by a message requesting funds, and if you must click, find where the link goes so you're not going to a shady phishing site or something of that sort.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling activies correlates with Bitcoin's price? on: October 08, 2019, 08:09:49 PM
People who regularly gamble with cryptocurrency for the purpose of anonymity or not needing to submit KYC/something similar will likely gamble a similar amount whether or not the markets are in a bull market or a bear market, though I imagine there's also a group of people out there that might hold off gambling with crypto when prices are in a clear uptrend. That was the case with me for a few months before and after the drop to $3k- I largely switched over to gambling using fiat for some time and sat on my crypto stash while I waited for things to move up again.

That's just me, though, and I'm oriented towards holding and occasionally trading mid- to longer-term plays with crypto. I'm sure other people think differently.
509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Crypto Pump Island a scam or legit? on: October 08, 2019, 08:04:13 PM
Don't do it, especially if you need to pay for access to their information. The real money's being made by the people operating the group and running the so-called pumps and dumps, and even with information on when the group's trying to manipulate prices, there's really no guarantee you'll even make money. It seems attractive at first, but groups like these are almost never worth it in the end.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think Voodoo works in Gambling Games? on: October 07, 2019, 11:37:18 PM
Nope. I did use to carry around items hoping that these items would somehow increase my chances of winning in betting and gambling, but I stopped doing that a couple years ago and I've mostly come to the conclusion that gambling's purely luck-based with very few exceptions, and there's very little you can do about it. Don't actively worry about increasing your chances of winning; there's really not much you can do about it. Have fun with what you're doing, and if you do happen to lose, be glad that you've only gambled an amount you were okay with losing in the first place. Don't go overboard with it.
511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading platform? on: October 07, 2019, 11:35:09 PM
Don't only pick an exchange to use by reported or even adjusted volume; it's been known for a while now that many exchanges fake volume in order to get people to use them, and even if an exchange does have high volume, that's less important than if the site's got a good user interface or good support, fast withdrawals and deposits, etc. As for decent exchanges outside of Binance to use, Bittrex and OKEx comes to my mind, though note that you'll need to fulfill KYC requirements if you're looking to use Bittrex. There's a couple restricted locations on OKEx (click for link to OKEx support) which should be listed under the first section of the guide I've linked here, but you shouldn't need to submit KYC otherwise for OKEx.
512  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 7700$ on: October 07, 2019, 01:14:07 AM
I could definitely see us reaching $7700 and below considering we've been making nothing but lower lows and lower highs since we pumped from $7701 on Coinbase Pro about a week ago. We've also bounced off (a bit under according to Bitcoinwisdom.io) the 50 weekly MA before the weekly close which is a definite region of support in my eyes, though if it breaks I'm eyeing the lower $7000s and perhaps even the $6000s as another target below. We could also be triple bottoming if this wicks near $7700 and starts moving up again, though I see the bearish scenario being somewhat more likely.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not advance as a bounty hunter? on: October 07, 2019, 01:09:19 AM
There's still at least some money to be made through bounties, and some people live in parts of the world where even the small amount of money that can be made from a bounty campaign still makes a difference, though I do agree that if you know where to look and if you have the appropriate skills, there's better uses of your time to earn fiat and crypto online. Most bounty tasks are rather simple and most people can do them, however, which might be why so many people are still bounty hunters even after years of doing the same thing.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: October 03, 2019, 10:18:18 PM
Meh. I primarily gamble with Bitcoin for anonymity with online casinos so I don't have to submit KYC on any site I want to gamble on, but if I were to be going to a physical casino, I'd much rather just pay using fiat and save my BTC for other purposes (fiat's more convenient in this case), though I must say being able to pay with Bitcoin in a physical casino's an interesting idea and could definitely further crypto and Bitcoin adoption as a whole. Something like the lightning network for Bitcoin could potentially help make things more convenient in regards to confirmation times.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin price increase after successful halving of block reward., thoughts. on: October 03, 2019, 07:50:50 PM
Decided to give Litecoin a one month time frame to disproven my suspicious of the price increased just been influence by price increase of bitcoin as it has done in the past but it couldn't. The halving of block reward had no effect on the Litecoin price. Some might say it's due to the bear season of the Altcoin market and a bad timing for Litecoin but my worries now is how will bitcoin halving event turnout. Will it follow the full steps of Litecoin or will it turn out t he positive after all.

I would say, the turnout would be positive meaning the price will increase but not as much as everyone is expecting. Bitcoin might not even reach the previous all time high and if it does it might not increase beyond $20,000 or go above $25,000

It seems to me what happened with Litecoin was the anticipated halving event was frontrun by traders and thus the price of LTC peaked several weeks before the halving, and BTC descending in price for the weeks since then hasn't helped either. I suspect something like this might also happen with Bitcoin, though I'm not going to trade this prediction and I'll be accumulating crypto with fiat in the meantime. I could definitely see a rebound up to a new high above the old descending triangle in the mid to long-term if BTC doesn't continue sliding as well.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US Lawmakers want's a National Digital Currency on: October 03, 2019, 07:43:42 PM
I wouldn't be extremely interested in any potential cryptocurrency the Fed releases considering any sort of centralized digital currency (especially one controlled by some sort of bank) wouldn't be very either innovative or useful in my eyes because I'd much rather just use any of the many other ways to transfer fiat, but any sort of activity like this, especially from members of the U.S House of Representatives is certainly interesting. I really don't think it's going to get anywhere at the end of the day though.
517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's most important to you in a crypto betting platform? on: October 03, 2019, 07:31:04 PM
My main three points would have to be an efficient and easy-to-use support system that doesn't require you to do a lot of work to submit a ticket with good response speed, a provably fair system for games where this is applicable, and also low or zero withdrawal fees. A potentially good system to use for fees would be to charge for faster or immediate withdrawals, and process withdrawals that have lower priority in batches so people opting for no fees still get their funds in time. I'd be fine with waiting a little extra for my funds if that means I'm not spending extra.
518  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRADING AND INVESTING IN CRYPTO INDUSTRY!!! on: October 02, 2019, 09:17:12 PM
Trading's generally focused on shorter-term gains (though people do trade long-term positions and swing trade as well), and investing's generally focused on longer-term gains. A lot of traders, especially recently, also trade on leverage and thus use precise plans to limit losses as much as possible while letting winning trades run and earn profit, whereas investors can have greater tolerance for shorter term fluctuations in price, because they aren't as big of a deal for those people over a longer timeframe.
519  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to avoid getting blocked on neteller/paypal/skrill/etc? on: October 02, 2019, 08:27:04 PM

I have tried using skrill, that is our medium of transaction when I trade my little amount of bitcoin in my friend from other country he uses it to send me the traded amound, I got a problem with my withdraw but their customer services is quite good! They assisted me throughout the process. I think they aren't phobited selling bitcoin? Because that is your source of fund. Maybe you can say that you gain your money thru online trading? You don't need to tell everything, because if you willl? You will be more suspicious.

I'm pretty sure Skrill doesn't prohibit crypto-related transactions on their platform because they actually allow you to add funds to your Skrill account using Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash according to their own FAQ (click for link). If you really want to say something about your transaction, just make it short (and don't say anything at all in the case of PayPal).
520  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 50x in 5 days on BTC swap on Okex on: October 02, 2019, 08:12:59 PM
Note that margin trading on Binance requires you to submit KYC before you're able to trade; you're able to trade without KYC as long as you're not in any of the restricted jurisdictions of Bitmex, Kucoin or Bybit (US traders aren't allowed on both Bybit and Bitmex, not sure about Kucoin).

If you're trading on extremely high leverage, the most important thing you can possibly do is remain as patient as possible for an optimal setup to appear. Forcing trades to happen rarely works, and you're just asking to get stopped out or liquidated if you're forcing a trade to happen on high leverage.
