1701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 24, 2023, 09:50:23 PM
Impressive performance by Afghanistan and a terrible batting performance by Pakistan and Afghanistan will easily win the match as they need less than a boundary to win the match.

Surprised to see a slim wicketkeeper  Cheesy and when i searched about him he is the son of Moin Khan, i have seen him bat in PSL but he is yet to provide any meaningful performance in his International career.
Bowlers done good foundation for this historic win because now Afghanistan has first ever win against Pakistan in International matches which is good for them and their game in future because with this win now they can feel better, and confidence level is also going to rise for the better future of this game in this country even we have no chance for having home cricket in next 10 to 15 years.

Pakistan came here without their top T20i players and mostly players were selected on performance of PSL, but batting is completely mess-up as no one were able to stand here and give his best as they were doing amazing in PSL but still cognates to Afghanistan for having firs win.

Azam Khan is son of Moin Khan and his inclusion in this team is not because of his performance he is in just because of personal links, so we can't expect good from him in wicketkeeping even he is the good hitter which done good performance in BPL and CPL as well.
1702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Space ID Token Listing Today? What should I Do? on: March 24, 2023, 08:50:46 PM
I appreciate your decision. Before investing you may know about the new altcoins and their destination. How long they can survive? After all if you observe all the issues carefully and invest then you can get good return. The market is not stable yet so should be very careful about altcoins.
I think there is no way for us to tell if how long a coin/token can survive but we are only speculating here depending on what we see on them or on their qualities. If we think they have a good quality then they might last long or a little longer, if not then we can still invest on them for a short time only, if we want to reap quick profits straight from the hypes that they are getting.

If you observed them carefully and found out that they have issues, will you still invest on them? That's a suicide because for sure no other people will do the same thing. Stable market or not. There will always be risks in newer projects, so always take extra precaution with them.

All cricket experts believe that women's cricket will be advanced a lot in the next few years. Women's cricket has been neglected till last few years but since the launch of Womens Premier League many countries and cricket boards around the world have started giving it importance. Because they have realized very well that ICC can give good reward to women's cricket as well. Like Womens Premier League  very soon we will see several such leagues where better cricketers can be born.
Women's cricket in three countries already at its best with now India and other subcontinent countries need to work on this because now this is also important region and with this relative boards can do better things even few countries are still not able to provide better facilities because of domestic issues, but we can expect good changes in near future with WPL is surely going to be good for the Indian women's because BCCI is having selfish mindset, and they will never been helpful for other boards of this region.

But right now, situation in Pakistan and Sri Lanka is not good just Bangladesh can do if they are also interested in this games development and countries in Gulf region have no chance to be done anything better because they are not able to bring any native men so bringing native women's completely out of their rang.
1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 24, 2023, 06:09:54 AM
I also feel that India and Pakistan will play the finals. I also had the same notion in the last Asia cup. The problem is that every Indian and Pakistani fan believes that these two countries will reach the finals except the players.

Whichever country becomes the host would get a good chunk of revenue. Considering the present economic condition of Srilanka I think it would be great for them to host those matches.
Every time expectations are high for the final between these two arch rival sides but every time it never came true as we have last time in t20i while Sri Lanka knocked out India from final and then beats Pakistan for the title, so we can expect many surprises again in this event because right now all Asian teams are doing good even Afghanistan can do upset as we have last time against few big teams, so now I have no expectations for this final because quality cricket is also doing good.

As we are heading for this Asia Cup I want we have these matches in England which could be good for the both teams and also for the fans because this could be better and good place to play cricket in this time and surely ECB and ACC will also have good amount because if we have matches here then surely all stadiums will be packed as we have in Australia.
1705  Economy / Economics / Re: Money hardly come this days! Why? on: March 23, 2023, 09:11:31 PM
Covid-19 hit many economies hard that most of them experienced a recession. The world was gradually recovering from the effect of the pandemic when Russia invaded Ukraine. The sanctions against Russia led to an increase in the price of many important commodities. The high cost of these goods made many businesses suffer losses and most of them had to shut down. This led to a high rate of unemployment. Some well-managed economies are gradually recovering while many are still in shambles.

I don't think the end of this global economic crisis is in sight which is why we need to prepare for the worst. You can get a new skill in some high sort areas, search for good jobs online, Identify business opportunities, and also try to cut the cost of living of your family.
I think due to covid we have seen inflation and not recession. Inflation is when nations print money and the value of money goes down, and that's a bad thing of course, recession is when interest rates are so high that companies do not invest back into the world but more like put their money into savings and that causes the money to be not in the markets and that lack of money right after inflation causes most people to be broke.

I cannot really explain why this is exactly the way it is, but it is always inflation is followed by a recession to recover from the inflation. We are in recession right now, and it will pass, there is time left, but it will pass eventually.
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Word of encouragement for Bitcoin investors on: March 23, 2023, 06:55:23 PM
We have 1.2 million banks, and only 3 failed, meaning traditional banking is dying. The 2008 crisis also killed some of America's biggest banks, but the banking industry is still thriving to this day, showing that the banking industry will never die. Do not rush to rejoice when the bank goes bankrupt, it will negatively affect the economy, and we will be the ones affected.

No matter how good Bitcoin is, without a bank, you will have difficulty in life, bitcoin is still not the main currency, you cannot directly use it for daily spending. Bitcoin and banks can coexist, and they benefit us.
I think the fact is that there are banks that have the most money that died. Sure maybe "3" banks failed, but the reality is that how much money has failed? That is the real question and when the number is in tens of billions of dollars, that is something that impacts the world.

Plus, in 2008 when banks seized the houses from people who didn't pay their mortgage, they got the houses and then sold those houses and made a profit, but when they failed to pay their investors or depositors, governments saved them. I think it was fair to just get those banks as governments and either manage them or just sell them, because if I fail to pay for my house and then it gets seized then the bank fails to do its job and should be seized too.
1707  Economy / Speculation / Re: When you're so inlove with BTC on: March 23, 2023, 11:54:33 AM
Investing in Bitcoin will never have the fear of losing money and there will be very little risk involved.
Investing in bitcoin is extremely risky and your money can disappear at any moment, bitcoin is a very volatile asset, and risky as the legitimacy of bitcoin is not yet universal. Bitcoin is a good investment but that doesn't mean it's just profitable without risk, it's good that you love bitcoin but don't be too fanatical or blind. Invest with your mind, don't let your emotions rule you in investing.
Disappear? I mean maybe if you put it on x150 leverage or something, but like.. fully gone? I do not think that it's possible. Even if you bought at 68k and sold at 16k, it doesn't really disappear, it's something that is very bad for you and I highly doubt that there are any people in the entire world who bought at the very top, the peak, the all time high price, and then sold at the very bottom of this cycle, that is unlikely, but even in that case you are still left with some money.

Most people don't even do that, they may end up losing if they sell when they see it drop but they lose just a bit, even maybe half of it could be gone but that's about it, not fully gone, so it's not as risky as you think it is.
1708  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: March 23, 2023, 11:00:40 AM
Anyone can take advantage of price volatility to trade and make profits.
Many people could consider short-term gains, but of course the best advice is to keep holding your bitcoin for the long term.

So whatever they do should be based on your goals for buying bitcoin. Of course it doesn't matter, if it's the best decision. You can take advantage of short-term strategies to make profits, while you can also take advantage of long-term volatility to make bigger profits. Both strategies are profitable depending on how you organize your strategy.
I am not really that amazing of a trader, I do make some trades and sometimes I earn money and sometimes I lose money when I do short term trading and I would say that overall it's just a tiny bit of profit and I am happy with it.

But as someone who is like that when trading, I can say that I am making x10 more from just holding, because in that situation I buy when it is low and know what I have to do and I keep holding it for a long time as well. When you do that, it is quite impossible for you to lose, in order to lose you have to sell when it goes down and I don't do that, I end up holding it and wait for it to go back up again in the future, doesn't matter if it's a week or a year.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 23, 2023, 08:16:16 AM
There is no point in blaming one particular player. The whole batting line up is pretty much in shambles. Indian batters were know to be good against spinners but they are struggling to even defend themselves against spin bowling. I know it is just a phase and it shall also pass on but the question is when? Just before the World Cup India is struggling with bat. The bowlers are doing an excellent job but those famous batters are so much with pride that they forgot how & where should they hit the ball. I am getting a feeling that this Indian team will suck in the world cup. If they do then the repercussions would be worst from the fans.
Here we need to appreciate Australians as well because after losing first two test matches they have done good comeback and have enough spirit to bring down India at their home with they were good but sadly in first two test matches they were not able to perform as their plan, but after Smith take as captain things change for them, and they have better use of their bowlers which help them for having better performance.

Even this all is OK, but now it's time for having some improvement in batting as well because new generation Indian batsmen have no enough quality to read spin as we have few years back with IPL things are changing very quickly everyone wanted to have good strike rate and quick firepower which is also creating problems for them, and they are not able to study as they needed to be done in all formats.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 23, 2023, 05:42:44 AM
For sure their performance was disappointing overall. However, they performed really well during the first test. In the second test, for the first few hours they had the advantage, but then the partnership between Kane Williamson and Henry Nicholls took the match out of their hands (3rd wicket partnership was worth 363 runs). And then Matt Henry destroyed the Lankan batting with his raw pace. Still I would say that their performance was somewhat credible against one of the pig-4 teams. There is still a lot of room for improvement though.
It's time for them to work on their domestic set up because they are still having plenty of players which can bring better results and their performance could be back as they have few years back but now first it's time to sit and talk about their issues which are preventing them to improve this all.

After skipping captaincy, Kane Williamson is now more dangerous player which is helping his team for having good runs on board in every test match and this change is helping them with few new batsmen are also doing good which is going to be good for them in near future because as they are performing most chances in next WTC they will be back in the best shape, and we have better results after this poor time which give them worst results and few finals to lost against Australia and England.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 22, 2023, 08:28:15 PM
heard this in a couple of podcasts from one reputed sports journalist, he happens to be very resourceful when following BCCI's money trail on everything like IPL, media rights deals etc.

Also, a few officials and Cricketers also said this on record a couple of times. IMO it's not generosity but they just don't care as it's not a big money and in return they earn some brownie points.
@JSRAW yet I find it hard to believe that BCCI actually gives up this money, because from what I studied about them is that they actually try to earn as much money as possible. @Sithara007 while Pakistan would be the obvious favourites in these series, yet I feel that Afghanistan can stun them and defeat them as they have improved a lot hence wagering small bets on Afghanistan victory does makes sense to me what do you think?
Even prediction has never been easy in any sports and if you are going to play T20i then surely it's more difficult while Pakistan facing some issues and now having withdraw their head coach Mohammad Yousuf due to personal issues; Pakistan also resting all their premier players like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Haris Rauf, Fakhar Zaman and Shaheen Shah; I feel like Afghanistan can win this series.

Shadab Khan is the good all-rounder and having good experience as captain but things still looking not easy for him in this series because most of the players are going to have started their career from this series after doing good in PSL8 but things could be never easy for anyone to win in this series because rivalry is also on after Pakistan give them many shocking defeats while they were on verge of win.
1712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arbitrum Hype on: March 22, 2023, 05:48:02 PM
Everything about crypto is risky. But ARB token or Arbitrum token have been having a lot of positive speculations lately. It has a large community also and as i can see so far, most of the community members are builders who will want to delegate or stake thier tokens. There is a very high probability that Arbitrum token might go futher than we expect.
True and so as new projects like ARB so we must be very careful with it and if possible don't get carried away by the hype because we never know what if it was only prepared by the people behind this project and they are heavily supported by the early adopters.

They are only waiting for the newbies to buy the coin so that when the price sky rockets, they will be the first to unload their coins in the market, making the price dump again and there is no assurance if it can recover again or not. Did their community told you that they will stake their tokens? But, what if they are only lying to attract more people to join. It's only easier to say than done you know.
1713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Layer 2 and Arbitrum on: March 22, 2023, 04:42:02 PM
Congrats to all those that pass the test of time to have done some transactions on the Arbitrum chain, some use more than one address and now they are waiting to make millions in a few days, I missed this one because I stopped doing transactions in the past 100days, a YouTuber confused me, saying its better to hold some tokens on Arb blockchain to pass for the Airdrop, I even went and bought an NFT too, do the bridge, yet I am unlucky.
Some users have more than one address? Dang I think that's illegal and its clearly an abuse but if you check the rules of their airdrop, you will see how strict they are so for sure those who attempt to create more than one accounts are going to be unsuccessful and even their main accounts won't get any drops. That's great for them.

On the above posts, it says you need to do 3 different tasks. Maybe you only did two and that is why you didn't qualify but someone says that the airdrop would continue? Maybe you can try fulfilling those other task and see if you will qualify later on, if ever there were truly another round for this. Don't worry, as long as you still have your arb coins with you and its NFTs, you can still sell it later on when their value pumps for profit.
1714  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon reports its first unprofitable year since 2014 on: March 22, 2023, 09:14:02 AM
1.Investing in an EV manufacturer is a risky move that would probably pay off in the long term(after 10+ years).
2.Amazon had a growing business during the pandemic. The pandemic is now over, it's pretty normal for online sales to drop.
3.I don't think that AWS is the biggest part of Amazon. This isn't a "make or break" situation. I'm sure that Amazon Web Services will be fine
I don't feel sorry for Amazon. We should feel sorry for all the small businesses, that were killed by Amazon. Grin
This is 100% true and a fact. Just because they spent more money doesn't mean that they are dying, they still had insane amount of profit but they just ended up spending a lot and that is why it looks like a loss. Hell these companies have cash reserves as big as their entire operational costs, which means that for the year of 2023 they could make ZERO revenue and still run for a while, probably at least a year.

Not like that would happen but if that happened they would cut costs and still go on, fire tens of thousands of people and still move on. All in all amazon is a huge company and they are doing fine and there is absolutely no reason to be sad about their loss, I rather cry about the worker they have who lives under poverty level wage.
1715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of decentralization and BTC digital economy on: March 21, 2023, 09:12:20 PM
I don't have the time to watch the video for now but things had really been changing since the development of Blockchain ecosystem.
Blockchain is going to dominate the world soon and what is left for us now is to get prepared because things will keep changing with time and sooner we are not going to be seeing those common things we see today. The world now is moving to a decentralized habitat and we would be sorry for those people especially the exchanges that think centralization would never end. All we need now is just the time to see how everything is going to play out in due time.
Blockchain going into the fiat world would be the thing that changes the most things, we are talking about a system that is designed to be both decentralized and incorruptible that ends up used by the whole world, and that could actually be amazing for all of us. I am not saying that it will start happening tomorrow or something like that, of course we are going to need some time.

However, we all know that visa and mastercard are already working on it and there are some smaller companies that already started using it, which provides a point that it is better, if it is not better why would they move towards that direction. It changed the whole landscape of economy if you ask me.
1716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: this is, how easy it is to scam people on: March 21, 2023, 08:26:49 PM
Why many people can be fooled by Bitcoin because they only know its value and want to benefit from Bitcoin but they do not want to find out personally how to use Bitcoin, so when they ask strangers then some of them will be directed to the wrong place so that losses will be felt, then we need our own research before finding out to others because knowledge from others will not be fully passed down for us, So we need our own analysis to develop every piece of information available, we must know that not everyone will be completely honest with us even if it is our close friend.
The fact that they could not find how to use it in a legit way is beyond recovery. If you are a newbie, and being a newbie in this age is amazing, then you have all the information you want online. You do not have to ask anyone, you could go to google and search for the best ways and you will find the best ways to do it without getting scammed.

But, some people still end up asking others instead of searching for it themselves and that is why they end up getting scammed. This is due to laziness, people who are lazy to do their own work and want everything to be handed to them is the cause for the biggest scams, they don't want to work for it, they want to get it right away.
1717  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much return are we expecting next bull run? on: March 21, 2023, 06:16:29 PM
In the next bull run, I am expecting Bitcoins to reach a new all time high price, so if we measure the price from the current price, then definitely it will be like almost 3x of the price. But as I said earlier, if we greed for more profits then definitely we gonna take any wrong step and for that reason we will make mistakes also, so don’t expect too much from the Bitcoins now. Observe the market and graph and invest accordingly. Set a lower withdrawal target and make a withdraw instantly when you reach that target.
I wouldn't really suggest the same thing but everyone has their own approach. I usually buy and hold as long as possible, I do not have a goal or a target because I believe that it should be going as high as possible and I wouldn't be really dealing with anything like that.

It is smart to do it this way because it allows people to have some sort of understanding that bitcoin goes up no matter what in the future. Of course people can think differently, I believe in this but I am not against anyone else having any other plans, if you want to put out a goal or a target price then you should do that, maybe yours is better and you could make more profit that way, I wouldn't know.
1718  Economy / Speculation / Re: What about the little increase? on: March 21, 2023, 05:36:31 PM
Well, I saw an increase, which at first had dropped to $19,000 and then flew again to the price of $28,000 and now the price will continue to move at least by $30,000 as the next step will be more reached to that level, but what is clear is when it is undergoing a correction and they are buying at then he has made a decent profit but holds back even better for those who believe in bitcoin in the future.

Are you surprised you don't check the market all the time? I think that's great because there's no anxiety in that.

As much has been reported about collapsing banks such as SVB and credit suise and there have been many other news that have entered crypto in large numbers, of course some investors have believed in bitcoin rather than banks.
Basically the fiat world is burning right now and doing terrible, which caused a lot of people to run out of the fiat world as well. Look at the gold prices as well, gold went from 58k or so dollars per kilo to 65k dollars per kilo as well, that type of increase doesn't really happen that quickly usually.

I mean this isn't anything about crypto, we didn't had anything good that made people invest into crypto, this is more about fiat where everyone got out of the fiat world and that means price of everything else moved up. This of course includes bitcoin as well and that went up too. And when bitcoin goes up, other coins go up too so the whole market got a bit more green this month as well.
1719  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Beginners Should Not Go For Future Trading? on: March 21, 2023, 04:08:30 PM
I think if people already know about futures trading they are no longer beginners, usually beginners will immediately see the spot trading menu, if they do see futures trading in person they will definitely get notifications warning about the risks of futures trading for beginners, and of course they will avoid it.
I think futures trading could be done by newbies as well, just open up a binance account and you will see it there and you can google what it is and give it a go. I am not saying they will or they should, I am just saying that it is a potential danger for them that is available to them on day one, which is why they should be extra careful about not doing things that they shouldn't do.

In the end, it's their own money and you cannot stop them from doing something that would be dangerous to do and they can end up doing it without caring about what the risks are or how much they could lose or how difficult it is to make money that way and just go right in and lose all they have.
1720  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting now. on: March 21, 2023, 03:34:33 PM
however if you are willing to put the effort a regular wallet can be made to be incredibly secure, if you take the right steps.
Sometimes it is not what you use, but how you use what you have it that matters. Even people who can afford to have a hardware wallet are not still safe should they decide to become careless thinking that buying a hardware wallet is the final security one can have for their cryptocurrency. A person who uses an electrum wallet can be safer than someone using a hardware wallet. For security, consider developing a consciousness for security first before consideration of a wallet to complement it.
That's true, it is a big mistake to thing that you are safe no matter what you do, you should always be careful no matter how safe you think you are. I have seen plenty of people who got their ledger wallets emptied as well, not because of any mistake ledger made as a company, not because it was hacked into it or anything, but because they were stupid users and that will always be an issue.

If you use it like you should be using it then it would work and it would be a good thing but if you use it unlike how you should then it would be a trouble for you. This is even more true if you do not have a hardware wallet and store it somewhere that is not entirely safe.
