are you the one that write this crap code of BU? because is < non stop fun park there Cheesy. The most fan will be when this miners scammers decide to fork off from bitcoin network with it. Then will begin the show Cheesy

you think that there is only core and bitcoin unlimited?
damn. you really have swallowed the spoon of core misinformation

by the way efficient ASICS and non-core implementations have been running on bitcoins mainnet for far longer than the non-activated segwit code.
by the way segwit started as an altcoin and has wormed its way into translating bitcoins network by the use of a 'going soft' backdoor that cant be vetoed by the community of bitcoin nodes that were and always will be bitcoin based code.(yep even core v12 cant stop segwit by the user node consensus)

by the way, gmaxwell only found segwits flaw last month. hence the drama now, instead of last year
but then pretending its asics and non-core nodes who are intentionally attacking segwit, rather than admitting that for the last couple years miners are just mining and non-core nodes are just plodding along for the last 2 years and its segwit thats not as utopian as promised.. is probably what your more angry about, but too loyal to either perceive that logical option, or too loyal to admit it.

get out of your blckstream(core) defence corner and look at the big picture
4323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ASICBOOST Aftermath: What Now Must Be Done? on: April 08, 2017, 12:34:23 PM
I am amazed by the core sheep fuck tards.
Bitmain once supported segwit when core was going to include a larger block size. Core backed out of the bigger blocks. Which is why bitmain withdrew support for segwit. Which blows out of the water all of the conspiracy theories of the asicboost nonsense.

Not only that, but the core sheep fail to do the math. Bitmain pools perform within 1% of other pools. If they were mining more empty blocks than everyone else. They would have a higher block to hash rate than everyone else. They do not. Therefore no one is using asicboost.

I think the conspiracy theorists need new tinfoil hats.

you also forgot the conspiracy theorists who think time travel is real and allowed miners to make a segwit attack

time line
an asic was made BEFORE segwit even was envisioned for bitcoin. the details of asicboost and its utility was available before segwit.
but somehow.. magic unicorn of events happened:
miners seen october 2016 code and went back in time to make hardware and software that are strange now (february2017+) attacking segwit..

much more likely that segwit was not designed correctly to work around hardware efficiencies and even 5 months after public release (last month) when gmaxwell and chums suddenly realised that segwit has a flaw and spent a month trying to patch segwit, but they couldnt.

so now all of a sudden gmaxwell wants to throw conspiracy theories that miners made an attack to disrupt segwit and so now segwit needs to stop miners.

..
to me asic boost is like ATI's openCL that gave ATI GPU's an advantage over Geforce GPU's a few years ago.
so if you can imagine going back to 2011
imagine core pointing fingers that ATI was attacking core by being efficient mining hardware, you would laugh at core devs. not try bombing ATI

It is getting really easy to see through your script full of bullshit franky. The same made-up descriptions about me are actually a description of yourself. Number of code-contributions: 0; number of reviews: 0; evidence for knowing any language or CS: non-existent. Roll Eyes

actually i have contributed.
difference being
1. i dont just spell check the documentation to get a commit
2. i dont advertise my contributions
3. i dont fake my contributions

P.S
if it sounds like i am repeating myself by asking you to learn certain things. maybe its time you learn them instead of thinking of just disregarding the content and treat it as a insult.

you act like a little school kid trying to cause disruption to hide your inability to learn but want to get noticed to hope people will like you.

take off the blockstream hat that has put you in a corner facing a wall and instead turn around and decide to help yourself by you learning something.

If you weren't paying attention, the price crashed HARD when BU came along. ...and for the record, nobody believes Jihan Wu!

BU has been around 2 years.as have other diverse implementations.

 segwit 6 only months
and segwit devs are the ones making all the PoW nukes and mandatory activations.

if you look at where the drama is coming from its from Gmaxwell and the core guys making accusations, threats and demands.
waving their fingers in all directions with their fox new mindsets of "bomb them bomb them bomb them"

while other implementations just plod along..waiting for consensus

care to try again. this time without using a debunked reddit script

ok stay asleep and only hear the whispers from your core friends

sweet dreams
4327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inside-the-Dragons-Den-Bitcoin-Cores-Troll-Army on: April 08, 2017, 03:34:53 AM
And you think this is normal?

you are using buzzwords like BTU and chinese, which shows you have no original mindset/opinion. all the buzzwords you use are reddit scripts so i doubt you even are looking for real info because all you do is repeat the same reddit scripts and buzzwords

if you took an out of the box mindset and stopped defending one bandcamp blockstream(core) and thought/cared about bitcoin as a whole. you will start to see that bitcoin is fine. but Blockstream(core) are the issue.

by you thinking bitcoin is blockstream(core) then its you thinking that bitcoin is dying when people talk negatively about blockstream(core)

try to think beyond blockstream(core) and you will see the real bitcoin community

EG
bitcoin community is millions of people, hundreds of thousands of merchants..
its not 90 unpaid spellchecker interns and 10 paid devs.

look beyond the cabin fever of blockstream(core)
4328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inside-the-Dragons-Den-Bitcoin-Cores-Troll-Army on: April 08, 2017, 03:12:12 AM

SO are you calling the LN Dev (who no doubts wants segwit) also a BTU Shill.   Cheesy

No, he is not shilling for BTU hence he is not Btu shill

all i hear is whistles in the wind and anger that all your left with is hanging around the 'watercooler' until a new secret meeting room can be found
4329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inside-the-Dragons-Den-Bitcoin-Cores-Troll-Army on: April 08, 2017, 02:45:00 AM
Now well known BTU shills accuse Bitcoin community in shilling  Grin are you fucking stupid? read the Title of this site - BITCOINtalk not unlimited of other china shit talk

forum is BITCOIN... not CORE talk Cheesy

bitcoin is more diverse then just core. if you think only core=bitcoin then you have got cabin fever
It's you (and other btu shills) not me are crazy about core and contantly writing unproven shit about it. and who has cabin fever?

pigeon holing me as a btu shill is like pigeon holing me as a classic shill last year and a xt shill before then and whatever core was pointing fingers at before then..
whats next
bitcoinEC
Bcoin

oh wait, let me guess it wont be a implementation brand but a mining group brand or even a country..
(obvious reddit script repeats)

when will the core cabin fever sufferers realise that there is a whole large economy of many bitcoin implementations that are all diverse. and its not a core vs one brand.

but a bitcoin community vs blockstream(core) centralist control cabin
think outside the 4 corners of your blockstream(core) mindset and start thinking about bitcoin as a whole and you will see it.
by the way core was only around in 2013. core did not invent bitcoin.

i know your friends are desperate for control so by pretending blockstream(core) already have control they can think they can fool the community too.. but all they are doing is fooling themselves

remember its only core throwing the ban hammers, PoW nukes, blackmailing deadlines and user fee discount bribes.. and even then core cannot get unanimous domination..

core need to realise bitcoin is much bigger than their cabin. and that diversity, decentralisation ethos of bitcoin mean much more than cores closed and controlled ethos

only one core dev in the slack of bitcoin-core...??
though it appears #dragons dn is shut down.. lets see if only 1 core dev uses that slack

yep more then one name

im just waiting for the DCG fund receivers to chime in and say that this virtual 'cabin in the woods' they use is actually used to have serious corporate discussions away from the anti-blockstream people
as their way of admitting such a place exists but not admit the content of what happens within. much like the round table closed door events with their chatham house rules
4333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The only answer against Miners Mafia is UASF on: April 08, 2017, 01:12:45 AM
as for chek2fire's image of the trolley growing double the size in half an hour.

the realisty is much more like

nodes set consensus.h at 8mb (calculated as network safe for at the moment)
nodes set policy.h at thier own personal preference amounts BELOW consensus.h

nodes publish their preference in the user agent

...
pools see all the lower preference limits and determine a safe majority of preference.. EG lets say it was 75%-95% say 2mb is ok

pools then make a block that is 1.000250mb and dip thier toe in the water testing the orphan risks or other issues, much like detecting if there was a 2013 leveldb bug when surpassing 500k limit even with a 1mb hard limit
and then progressively grow in small increments which they deem safe, up to the majority PREFERENCE of ~2mb
where by the minority nodes that had 8mb consensus but under 2mb policy preference. would be alerted that their policy preference is going to get dynamically altered up to 2mb

all of which are still blocks well under the main consensus limit of 8mb.
meaning nodes can cope and the blocks dont just go "gigabytes by midnight"

hi im check2fire. i have read no code,
i do not care about bitcoins ethos, only blockstreams ethos
but i do love the reddit scripts of calling anything not blockstream sanctioned an altcoin.
even if the diverse implementation runs on the mainnet
even if the diverse implementation helps keep bitcoin decentralised
even if the diverse implementation refuses to split off and will only activate with community consensus. i will call anything not gmaxwell approved an altcoin.
purely because i love brown nosing maxwell
when gmaxwell moves on to other projects like hyperledger i will follow him like a obsessed stalker because he is my king

All anyone with 1/3 of a brain can do is look at the git commit log of bitcoin-core, and the discussion in the bitcoin-dev mailing list and realize that the core devs are the heros of the bitcoin story (along with Satoshi of course).

lol and spot people like Lauda(was theymos staffer recently) and others who try getting 5 minutes of fame by spell checking a document. just to get their name in the list.
the amount of people with commit 'fame' for spell checking is very much a comedy.

i guess you also missed the parts where to get a 'bip' listed, requires LukeJRs(was gmax)(both blockstream) approval which needs mailinglist approval which are moderated by blockstream whereby they try to get you to have mentioned it in this forums technical discussion section first(gmax/theymos mod) or the irc(blockstream mod) or the reddit(theymos).
all moderated by the same group of people.

4336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inside-the-Dragons-Den-Bitcoin-Cores-Troll-Army on: April 07, 2017, 11:54:12 PM
Saturday night. Before going out I open a thread that has bitcoin core / blockstream / segwit in the title and what do I find you ask? of course, franky1 posting wall of texts. I hope you get paid well man, your thing is ridiculous.

i know your angry that you have to kiss corporate ass and give up your morals and personal opinions just to live and keep your income flowing. even having to subsidise your income with the crappy sig-spamming

thus angry that i have made my income personally from being an early adopter. thus i have the freedom to not need to kiss ass and can remain frank about my opinion while travelling around without borders, limits or having a boss to report to

i just hope one day you realise blockstream will move on and you realise this before they do, so that your not wasting your time kissing ass for no reason.

try to in future. when thinking of replying. look in the mirror and think about what hat you are wearing when you reply. and make sure its a
diverse decentralised bitcoin hat... and not a blockstreamist defender hat.

then maybe you can recover some respect. because you wont attain any of the blockstreamist titles of
bitcoin-wizard
bitcoin-dragon
bitcoin-ninja
4337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inside-the-Dragons-Den-Bitcoin-Cores-Troll-Army on: April 07, 2017, 11:19:54 PM

i know your trying to move up the ranks by getting your spell checking skills notice by blockstream, now that your no longer a forum staff member and looking for a new job.
but your "you're wrong because wrong" arrogant and meaningless and very empty rebuttles are foolishly not winning you favours

many people including myself have tried to ask you to learn c++
many have tried to help you evn by hinting things you could larn about bitcoin without having to know c++.. such as consensus
but a year on all you want to do is defend those in the DCG portfolio such as blockstream.. rather than defend bitcoins original diverse decentralised ethos.

you cannot explain away how the DCG portfolio group made their 'exchange' announcement about how they would handle a controversial fork
you cannot explain the bitcoin slack
you cannot explain the closed door round table meetings
you cannot explain the other stuff going around

so either just come forward and admit you dont care about bitcoins diverse and decentralised ethos and only want t defend the pockets of those VC investors behind blockstream
or
wise up, wake up and start caring about bitcoin.
because im afraid to tell you this. but blockstream are IN DEBT to the tune of $70m and trying to kiss ass with hopes of employment wont work

they are already planning their exit strategy, even one of their founders has jumped out (mattcorallo now with chaincode labs)
and soon enough blockstream will sell out to highest bidder and move onto hyperledger

so if yo care about bitcoin. drop your defensive stance for blockstream and start thinking about bitcoin.
because so far your empty arguments in defending blockstream are becoming more like a comedy event

i would have respect for any of the blockstreamist defenders if they would even dare to rebuttle comments about code issues, beyond just saying "shill, wrong, liar,"

this channel exists and it has as a leader Craig Wright.
For real now. What are you smoking guys? can i have some. because it seems this staff is a non stop trip.

the craig wright things are distractions.

note that craig write drama always pops up right when there is a round table debate.

late 2015
mid 2016
early 2017

all of which were when there were round table closed door discussions just to avoid people asking about what was actually discussed in these closed door discussions

dont believe me.. ask yourself what has the community learned about the january 2017 round table.. apart from

If the gossip at a recent invite-only bitcoin conference is any indication, news may be forthcoming in the long-simmering Satoshi Nakamoto saga.

On the sidelines of the two-day Satoshi Roundtable conference in Cancun, rumors were swirling that new developments in the 'Who is Satoshi?' story once again relate to the controversial Australian academic and entrepreneur Craig Wright, who last May claimed that he and as many as four others contributed to the white paper credited to bitcoin's pseudonymous inventor.

This time, however, there is said to be a potential twist to the story relating to an unknown entity that may have a claim to the intellectual property created by that group.

but anything actually bitcoin related was all hush hush

lauda whistles to the wind yet again

not adding any content about the technicals just pointing fingers..

anyway..

extension blocks are still 'iffy' and not a simple solution.
it ends up requiring segwit and still using backdoors to implement it (going soft using the anyoncanspend method for segwit has been admitted as a backdoor)

it also increases the TIER network strategy rather than a peer node network. and opens up more back doors.

having to 'opt-in'  much like 'opting-in to use segwit keys does not 100% fix the promises that all these DCG partner bips keep promising to fix.

so although i like it because its another diverse node away from blockstream(core) domination. the gesture of fixing things is not a real fix.

it ends up leading to as i said more of a tier network.
differing UTXO sets.
different levels of validation nodes
some tx's seen by some nodes but not others..
it just makes a peer network ugly and non consensus and no longer existant...
which is the ultimate betrayal of the bitcoin ethos. because although is then more 'diverse' its a tier network so less decentralised.
plus it relies on back door implementations.

what needs to be done is an actual fix that even people with funds from the last 8 years can use without having to bait themselves into something that separates them from other nodes.(meaning a solution where all nodes see the same thing)

the real fix is to use real nodes consensus and just upgrade the network properly
