482  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why do we need politicians? on: February 22, 2018, 04:54:54 AM
Politicians are just a reflex of the country's population. If you are unsatisfied with your politics, you are unsatisfied with your countrymen.

Anyway we need good politicians representing our country and doing the best for the citizens. It will depend from person to person, but I believe the best they could do is to give more freedom to the citizens of the country, since it doesn't affect negatively other people and the the whole society in general.

Without politicians there wouldn't be order, and it would just open a gap for some crazy tyrants take the power and rule the land.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICOs Exist In 2 Years? on: February 22, 2018, 04:22:36 AM
Public ICOs are probably going to be inhibited even more with so many regulations coming from the countries where these developers operate. It will be difficult for public ICOs to continue on the same intensity. Pre sale private ICOs are probably going to be a must in most places, as a minimum investment will be necessary, names and personal informations will be necessary, everything made with government's permission. Many people may think it will be safer, but it will just put the little fishes out of the game.
484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your Dice gambling strategy? on: February 21, 2018, 10:58:07 PM
A common strategy is to always use multiple strategies during the gambling's session. But it won't change anything for real, the proportion between chance of winning and reward is always the same. You increase your winning chance a little and your reward will decrease a little, you decrease your winning chance a little and your reward will increase a little... The only worthful strategy would be if you had the option to decrease house edge, and that one never changes, doesn't matter what personal configurations you are using.

Strategies are just a feature to make the game looks more attractive, customizable and give a false impression that if you use the right strategy you can make profit on long term.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Israel Confirms It Will Tax Bitcoin as Property on: February 21, 2018, 10:21:05 PM
It's nice that a tax was introduced (becuase it means cryptocurrencies are legal now) but 42% is really much. As such, I'm wondering whether this legislation will help because people may still try to avoid the law due to the high rate. Governments have to come up with reasonable rates, otherwise regulations will not work.

I'd prefer it to remain in the gray zone than be forced to give away half of my earnings (as a miner). Historically, Jews always knew how to make money and were seen as greedy people so it doesn't surprise me that their government is following the same path.
That's why I'm against regulations. They never bring anything good for the people. A government involvement always means that you'll get robbed while they're trying to make you feel happy, like you're doing a good thing, contributing and all.

We will miss the gray zone's old times... Governments aren't having any kind of resistance, they feel safe and free to create any kind of regulations they want.

If people in this forum (considered Crypto enthusiasts) aren't worried and cheers each new regulation is created, now imagine what the ordinary citizens on these countries will do about it. Nothing!

Even if it's 25% maximum tribute, it's ridiculous. It's like to work 1/4 of your time to pay your boss without any guarantee if you fail in the middle of this process.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: If the world uses a single currency on: February 21, 2018, 08:36:24 PM
No, it wouldn't be good, as there would be a central authority controlling all the world's economy. There are always people trying to control economies, societies, lives, but at this moment it's harder, because the societies are independent and have autonomy, but once you unify everything, the control is made easier by one central group of powerful mafious.

There are rumours a single currency would benefit poor countries and emerging ones, for the unsuspecting ones it can seem amazing, but it will happen in detriment of productive countries. It's just a way to outsource the responsability of these poor countries, what isn't fair with the another ones that are really productive and "supply" the world with technology and goods. I would say without these evolved countries, many poor ones wouldn't be even civilized at this point. So I believe to want a single currency is to ask too much from these evolved countries...
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN : Oppotunity Or Challenge? on: February 21, 2018, 06:41:03 PM
It's not anonymous. Transactions are trackable and with some investigation it's even possible to find the addresses owners. Many criminals were already gotten transacting BTCs and the money was taken by the local law forces.

If you and your parents are a bit afraid of Bitcoin investment, you can start low. Don't put much money on it, start with an amount you and your parents consider low. Wait some months and you will have enough personal experience to invest more or not. I just think you should invest, doesn't matter the amount, the important is to be inside this world!
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: February 21, 2018, 03:59:21 AM
I doubt you can earn thousands of satothis this days from gambling sites or from faucet sites even some bot or exploit cant manage to earn that amount its very hard to earn btc I only know is to create many accounts and claim it simultaneously but its not effective just a waste of time.
It's possible that you can claim thousands of satoshi's within a single day. There are casino's who are prime on this type of marketing that the more bitcoin you'll deposit on them the bigger amount satoshi's you can claim to them. I know faucets that are waste of time if you have some other things to do but there are people who are happily claiming with it and just using their spare time for doing it.

It's something that work very rarely. I have heared from some people that they really managed to make some nice profit from casino faucet's earnings once or twice, but after several attempts. But for who has nothing to do and is bored, it might worth a try. The problem is when to stop, because the gambler starts feeling too lucky on that day by growing an awesome bankroll from hundreds of satoshis that he thinks his luck won't change so fast, and sooner or later it always happen.  Cheesy
489  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks admit they fear BTC on: February 21, 2018, 02:42:51 AM
If you live in a Western country you know they are forcing the merchants to :
- have a POS device in their shop (and this already costs money just for installing it, plus a yearly fee AFAIK)
- only accept debit/credit card payments for amounts over a limit ( typically 1000 USD/EUR or even less )

Plus, there are already countries inhibiting developers to launch their Crypto-Currency projects. Now if you want to be a developer and launch you ICO in Russia you need at least $1.700.000 and a government's license, just to start... They are just trying to turn Crypto-Currency into fiat's system. If you have a lot of money and a good relationship with the government you are fine, otherwise...

Step by step they try to make Crypto-Currency more similar to fiat.
490  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of Chinese holiday... any effect on Bitcoin Price?? on: February 21, 2018, 02:03:49 AM
It was increasing slowly, now a little correction is happening, let's see for how longer...
Almost all the Crypto market is red at this moment!

Chinese new year's holidays are finishing, maybe just a coincidence?
491  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Will people pay taxes for bitcoin ? on: February 20, 2018, 09:15:52 PM
Let the taxes' enthusiasts pay it. You just need to say for what public services Crypto taxes are going and I will make sure I won't use them, Ok?  Cheesy

Easier said than done. Every exchange or service that you have used in the past year(s), has a complete log of all your crypto activities that at some point may be used against you. If you have verified yourself on whatever exchange, and the government raids that exchange, or forces exchanges to submit all their user information due to new regulations, you'll be on the wrong side of the road for sure, if you haven't paid your due taxes. Even holding crypto on an exchange without actually doing anything with it requires paying tax. All centralized services are a plague when it comes to maintaining a private identity in this market.

I know how these mechanisms work, I'm just saying how it should be in my opinion.
Even I don't have enough strength to fight this system, I will keep spreading my ideas, hoping to see more people stop repeating what they were "programmed" to repeat and stop accepting everything that is imposed to them.

I can be on the wrong side of the road, but only towards the wrong rules, while I will be on the right side of my conscience, that is what really matters in the end.

It's amazing how many think they will get away without paying taxes. I think most of these types are probably 18 year old with $1,000 accounts so they will be OK. I think the hammer will come down some day and they will see the truth.

It's amazing how people here get offended when you put yourself against the unfair regulations and criminal governments.
492  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: February 20, 2018, 04:46:47 PM
As I understand in this thread, they do not like multi-accounts, well, okay. No, I'm not a scammer.

There isn't any faucet that accepts multi-accounts, as they want just one account per IP and as they don't want one person referring himself in several different accounts. It makes the system stable and sustainable.

If you do this, you are compromising the site's existence. Many faucets have already died because this kind of practice and it was worse for us, users, that have lost good opportunities to use decent faucets. Stay away from this practice, for your own good and for the good of the faucets...
493  Economy / Speculation / Re: can bitcoin reach 25k$ on: February 20, 2018, 03:02:42 AM
i want some advise from the expert because im only basis on my prediction can anyone tell !
I believe it can easily reach that price but the real question is are you going to hold until bitcoin reaches that value, what if it hits 1000 dollars before reaching 25000, are you going to hold? Because I can assure you most people wont, so the price bitcoin reaches is irrelevant if you do not have the will to hold until bitcoin reaches that price.

Each person must have their personal goal. If you want to see BTC reaching $25.000, keep holding until it reaches to this amount. Just keep in mind it can take a long time and many bumps and dumps can happen meanwhile... But if that is what you really wants, don't listen to others, continue holding.

I think $25.000 is an ambitious number to start imagining at this point. We are having a nice recovery in BTC price, and if we are able to reach $15.000-$16.000 soon it's already a big conquest. At least for me, that is my personal goal for now.

Of course, there will be many little pump and dumps, but the correction of the crypto market is over and there is a long upward trend ahead of us. We do not know just how fast he will be.
You wrote that soon we could reach the price of $15k- $16k, but I did not write what it means for you "soon" Wink For one person it may be a month for another year. Smiley

I think that $25k is possible to reach in the middle of this year, and by the end of the year even $50 .. time will show Wink

It's true, for some people short time is 1 month, for others it can be 1 year... For me "soon" is more like up to few months, three or so. BTC price is increasing nicely, if the trend keeps pumping it we will see $15.000-$16.000 really fast, but for now it's unpredictable because the little dumps and pumps can happen without warnings and "steal" some precious time from BTC.

Until I start seeing real evidences Bitcoin can hit $25.000 or $50.000 by the middle/end of the year I prefer to not feed this feeling.  Grin
As you said, time will show!

495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoin effect on our future? on: February 20, 2018, 12:49:44 AM
People are being very crazy about the bitcoin..
Everyone try to hold the bitcoin and want to sell at higher price.
How it will affect our future system?

Cashless society is possibly the future, bitcoin is going to be a primary form of payment by the majority. I feel like bitcoin is going to najw a revolution in every market. Once bitcoin have gain great demand and people have finally recognized it as an asset, bitcoin will continue to grow. Future will be more better if cryptosystem will be develop and people started to accept it. I have no against for the use of bitcoin, it is the start of new kind of society. The future will surely be btight.

I think we won't have a total cashless society, but we will have much less paper money in circulation, people will give preference to digital transactions even on the smallest shops and even buying the cheaper items. On the another hand digital crimes will be more common than nowadays. Informatic skills will be a need for thieves. And on the another side, the same informatic skills will be very valued by governments and people in general. Those who work with internet, informatic development will have a special spot in the future. And the present is already a sample of it...
496  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulating Bitcoin on: February 20, 2018, 12:11:41 AM
Cryptocurrency has been widely criticised for lack of regulation. Do you think it is possible to come up with a regulatory framework around Bitcoin?
I am an opponent of the regulation of the cryptocurrency. This will lead to taxation, control ... That is, it is not in the interests of users of cryptocurrency
Actually, all of us don't want to pay taxes because it only lessen our income from here. But we think also that, with this thing we can help our community to improved, knowing that governments projects are coming from taxes that they collected from the people. I don't make it as a big deal, unless we have abuse by the authorities. But sadly, regulations might bring crypto from being centralized market as we are being controlled by the government which definitely affect the price.

I believe it's not just because we don't want to pay taxes, but because it's not a fair deal for both sides (enthusiasts and government). It's total advantage only for one side and we don't have control about how the government will use the taxes they collect from Crypto-Currency. As money here is made fast and in big proportions, depending the trader, the government can make huge money over the traders.

And then they will feel like in heaven, with so much money to manage. So it won't hurt to create a new ministry here, maybe two or three new ministries... Wow, but there is so much money yet, maybe we can give a new assistant for each congressman... Maybe an increasement on public employees wage too... And so on. All being financed by traders and Crypto enthusiasts efforts.

Abuse will not happen only if the country is very civilized and where the population is really engaged on what is happening on the political sphere all the time.
497  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto market demand is increasing on: February 19, 2018, 08:06:14 PM
It's slowly increasing again and I think I could say thanks to South Korean traders and investors... Now about the chinese new year it's a mistery how it will affect BTC's price. It can be very good for BTC, if chineses use their fiat money to invest in Bitcoins, but it can be very bad too, if chineses use their Bitcoins to exchange into fiat to buy stuff on their country. As we are seeing so far, it's being good for BTC.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: February 19, 2018, 06:56:24 PM
There is always one reason to get money
In this world a person is nothing without money and many are able to afford a house , a good family and many other basic needs but some people have big dreams they don't want a normal life they want a big house , a expensive car , branded watch , etc and they are not able to fulfil all this with the current job so they choose gambling a way people can double their funds (not always) , it has a huge risk involved but many only gamble thinking of the profit of the reward not thinking how negative effect it would have on them if they lose

These people don't think about the consequences, if the goal is to make profit they shouldn't be gambling... Being a newbie in gambling's world it's acceptable to think this way, because the person thinks it's impossible to lose 30 times in sequence, and at first impression it seems really impossible... But after trying once, twice, always losing hard... It's already possible to understand gambling isn't a tool to double money in few hours.

And these people keep trying and trying again, losing money they can't lose. Then I can ask myself, why do these people need to gamble? Isn't it having a total negative impact on their lives? So why are they still gambling?
499  Economy / Economics / Re: Debt and Crypto? on: February 19, 2018, 06:01:58 PM
Very interesting point: When lending money, everyone wants to receive more money back than they lent, but when the supply is finite, there must be other people losing money to make the first one earn interest, right?

So we are just redistributing money (Bitcoins) among ourselves. We aren't building fortune, but exchanging fortune among ourselves where you never increase your budget without making another person lose part of his budget...

About the loans, it works perfectly, because it will be an eternal exchanging scheme. You borrow money, you recover it by doing business and pay the lender, but thanks to other people who have lost money for you, by paying for your services/products, then you and your lender will need these people later and you will pay them for their services/products. So this money is constantly coming and going...

But to make it work I believe it's necessary to keep spending money, and avoiding accumulating wealthy. Hmm, that is the complex part as everyone wants to upgrade their life status...
500  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Animal Cruelty - punishments? on: February 19, 2018, 05:04:12 PM
Animal cruelty may seem to be the issue in the USA, but there are two points to the issue.

The first point is the property question. If the animal is your property, you have the right to do with your property as you wish. Property rights are the foundation of all USA law. People don't:
A. Consider property rights in many court cases;
B. Realize that animal rights are not to be considered outside of property rights of the owner;
C. Think about what is happening when property rights are taken away from anyone.

If Government can take away property rights from owners under some particular circumstance, where will they stop? If you become property of Government because property rights of self are taken away, then Government has become a dictatorial Communism.

The second point is, if a person has a problem with someone else harming his own animal in what might be considered a bad, painful, hurtful, inhumane way, the problem shouldn't be the person and his property (animal). The question should revolve around that he did it in public, and it harmed the emotions of a bystander.

The owner has the right to do with his property as he wishes. But he doesn't have the right to harm the emotions of another person by making that person watch how shamefully he treats his property.

The issue is property. It is a person damaging the emotional property of a bystander. It is NOT a property owner damaging his own property, the animal.

In other words, if you need to beat your property, do it in private, so you don't hurt the feelings of other people.

Cool

Animal isn't an inanimate object or an piece of land to be considered a property... It's an unarmed creature, also like some humans can be in the same unarmed animal's condition (like old people, children, mental deficients). And if you beat these people there will be consequences, and doesn't matter if it's inside your house or in any other private place, the same goes for animals.

Lives aren't property of anyone. In the case of animals the owner accepts the role of protector, defender and loyal friend of the animal. If this role isn't being followed correctly, the animal must be gotten from this owner's hands, like children are gotten from the parents hands when they suffer abuse.

Notice that I said "USA."

If you are in the USA, just go out and steal an animal from a person who treats it poorly, just so you can treat it better, and find out that it is property, the hard way.

Cool

Ah, well, I didn't know things work this way in the USA. It's a pitty though.

In my country it's 3-12 months in the jail or a fine for who harms animals or abandon them.
The problem is that knowing these laws, the abuser usually takes the car and the animal, goes far away from his home and left the animal on the road, near other's houses. Then accelerate the car and go away faster as possible...

The animal starts starving abandoned on the road, being rejected by the near houses as people have already animals.
And it's hard to track who abandoned the animal on the road, as it happens fast and usually in desolate areas, without witnesses.

No it isn't a pity. It's called freedom.

The point is entirely this. If somebody can control your freedom, they can control you. Why stop at animals? Become a Communistic Dictatorship, where they control what color socks you wear, and how many breaths of air you take.

Your choice. Be free, or be a slave.

If the animal isn't yours, then don't treat it good or bad, until you get permission from the owner.

Cool

And about the animal's freedom? No one wants to be injured (including the animals). Those who are injured and can't scape from this reality don't have freedom!

You are showing a communist behavior with the animals! You control animal's freedom, so you control them! For these injured animals it's like to live in a junk communist/socialist house, where they aren't respected and treated as they should be.

The real choice humans can take here are: to be a communist enslaver or to be a decent person.

We are talking about lives, and lives don't belong to any man in this world.

Do you think that plants aren't alive? If you feel so strongly, perhaps you should go eat dirt or sand or rocks.

If animals are your property, then you can do with them what you want. If someone else tries to dictate what you can do with your property, then they are making a slave of you. If you are a slave, then you are the property of someone else, and he can do what he wants with you. You are his property.

Cool

There is a big difference between killing for something useful, like to eat, without making the animal (and why not the plant) suffer, and harming, killing for sadistic reasons just to give pleasure to a psychopath's mind, what shouldn't be allowed.

And this kind of people belong in jail.

Even the hunters, that need meat to eat and furs to craft stuff and to sell show respect for the animals they kill.

But I believe you won't accept it, as you don't see animals as living creatures, but just things.
I hope someday you will be able to see further your short horizon...
