1101  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is every country really corrupt? on: November 02, 2017, 05:32:21 PM
Not every countries are corrupt on the same proportion. Third world countries are much more corrupt than first world countries (and they aren't corrupt because poorness, they are poor because corruption [and ignorance]).

People say their own countries are the most corrupt because that is the reality they live and for them it's hard and sometimes they can't imagine something worse than the situation they live. Not saying about economic individual life, but in a general society aspect, like seeing corruption scandals happening, institutions doing nothing about it, all the sectors of society poisoned by corruption... If you think too much about it and discover you are by yourself against all this shit you can become depressive or even mad.
1102  Economy / Economics / Re: Indonesian Ban on: November 02, 2017, 05:20:50 PM
Indonesia’s central bank, has threatened action against bitcoin and say

Quote

I must emphasize that BI does not see bitcoin as an official payment tool in Indonesia so all people should know not to use Bitcoin as a means of payment. There is a risk.

Source of news https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-banned-payment-method-adopters-will-dealt-indonesian-central-bank/
I come from Indonesia so I know why our government banned Bitcoin,

they are average old, so they still do not understand what is technology Blockchain Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Well, that is the government the population chose, no? So are they average old too?  Cheesy
Next time you will have a new chance to choose your representants, make sure to choose one that will be friendly to Bitcoin and its technology for the developement of your people as individuals. Bitcoin can be a good proposal for candidates and it can even decide a poll if Bitcoin is important for people in your country.
1103  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: November 02, 2017, 04:41:03 PM
Maybe the best punishments for rapist will be death penalty so that they will not rape again. And the others will be afraid to rape women. There are many cases of rape in most countries this day , they even rape little girls. Most of the victims are not given the justice . Rapist all around the world should die by means of death penalty.

Maybe so, it's better a death penalty than humiliation. Punishemnt is needed, but to enjoy seeing others being humiliated is not good also. Doing this we would be turning ourselves into the same monter the raper is. This kind of people is dangerous and don't deserve a place in the society, they can attack once and once again without limits, also death penalty finishes the costs this prisioner would cost for the country.

I would agree if the family would pay the costs of the raper in the jail, but he would have to be operated anyway, that operation that removes the sexual instincts (but not mutilation).
1104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: November 02, 2017, 04:05:08 PM
Bank don't fear about bitcoins much as till its not legalized properly all over the world people still need fiat currency to use in the market and to pay bills. Till btc don't get legalized as fiat currency btc can't be accepted openly.

I think that is our "luck" for now. So the few Bitcoin users can use it without fear of retaliations from banks side. But it's slowly changing... Even more the banks are more interested in Bitcoins and are sending signals to their respective governments to start taking actions about it, for an example to legalize the currency. Soon there will be many people using Bitcoins and when this day comes there will actions to regulate and legalize Bitcoins on each country.

And this a payment prove on the 28 of October
https://imgur.com/a/96Nse

I have see this site being promoted on another forum: https://tswitat.com/

I would like to know if someone here knows this site and if it's really legit or not.

It's a site where you make questions and earn money when many people reply to you.

And what is the strategy to make people answer you (because seems you need thousands of replies to make profit)?

Do you have any group that helps its members mutually?
1106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 0.03 BTC to 3 BTC Challenge on: November 02, 2017, 04:48:06 AM
x100 increase it not so big challenge. I wish you good luck and I think you will touch your target amount soon. But don't stop when you reach 1 BTC, it is not enough

Not so big challenge? Really?  Shocked

Seems a real hard challenge to accomplish. To double money isn't easy, now imagine to make x100 profit... It will take a lot of time and dedication, 3 millions of satoshis aren't a big bankroll to start what will make it even more difficult. I think it's an acceptable challenge, but dangerous as the goal is high and greed can take place in OP's mind. Better to begin slowly, make some profit, withdraw, then make some profit again, withdraw...
1107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 is the Year for Bitcoins.... on: November 02, 2017, 03:05:46 AM

I was browsing for news in bitcoins last week when I got intrigue with this title in an news article.  In deed, the biggest test for bitcoins in this year for there are a lot of scares with its operations.  There has been issues with its legal basis as China and South Korea has halted their exchange operations.  The all time low bitcoin value then the sudden increase of its worth... It has been a roller coaster... but thankfully it survive and here we are...

Bitcoin is potentially great crypto currency and it is the only of tis kind. So I believe each year that will pass bitcoin will surpass all the prices and rates it had earlier. This will keep repeating unless and until all the coins are mined. This well then create state of stability where bitcoin could work as legendary pair to trade all the crypto currency and fiat currency. Then also its value will increase many fold each year if there exist no regulation by that time. It seems we have been blessed with best crypto asset in this era.

Every new year will be the year of Bitcoins.  Tongue
Each new year Bitcoin becomes more popular and more people start using it, also it brings the attention of more governments to itself. 2017 was a good year for Bitcoin, but it's just beginning, the impact will be surely much more powerful, not only because price increasement, but because it's a big change in the system as we know, it affects all the world.
1108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Explain the bubble on: November 02, 2017, 02:11:48 AM
No, it's not being used as its primary purpose. But anyway, I don't think it should be used this way or that way, people are using it to supply their necessities and at this moment the profitable investment Bitcoin turned in is their primary necessity.

For now it's a speculative market, many people invest on it because they know it will generate generous profit for them, but it's not an "empty" investment, not like fiat that is just paper money. Bitcoin represents a change in financial system and a change on the way we make transactions, very innovative and inedit, too far from nothing...
1109  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold Is Yesterday, Here Comes Bitcoin As A Reserve Currency on: November 01, 2017, 11:36:40 PM
I think people still feel more safety with Dollars or Euros. It could be very easy to sabotage a nation with reserve currency in BTCs. A rival country could invest hard on Bitcoins, then provoking a dump right after what would impact the country holding BTCs as reserve currency. For now Bitcoin is just a speculative currency and it will only change when it becomes more stable.

1111  Economy / Speculation / Re: Institutions changing Bitcoin forever on: November 01, 2017, 06:55:13 PM
While Bitcoin is well splitted among several hands there aren't problems... But as it becomes more valuable, the interest of powerful people over it increases proportionally. People who want to domine Bitcoin and that is a dangerous situation. If someone is able to hold a real big amount of coins this one can dump the currency or even kill it anytime, making a lot of profit at once and destroying the reputation of the currency forever... For this reason I think it's always wise to cashout out the BTC profit sometimes and not holding everything for a long time period even with nice predictions like 100K-500K in few years.

Who would ever look their family in the eyes and tell them they sold all of their bitcoin at $8k when the price is now $500k? A Painful situation to be in. Won't be me. Sure I have paid for some things with bitcoin like debt. But I will not be left on the outside looking in when we were all into Bitcoin before it became mainstream but were just too scared to HODL.

For me a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. It's like a game, high risk, high reward possibility, some people are able to take the risk and others aren't.
To turn $1900 to $7000-$8000 would be already a nice achievement for me. Anyway I wouldn't sell all my BTCs at once, but progressively... And maybe buying some too when a nice opportunity appears.

I fully agree with your strategy. Of course every time I'm sorry I sold your coins cheaper, but I always calm. I'm not afraid of tomorrow, bitcoin will not be worth anything. I have already earned and now enjoy the peace of mind. I even laugh when people every time you write posts about the predictions of bitcoin prices. How much will it cost so much. I with bitcoin because it's my freedom. For me it does not matter how much I earn. I don't care about life enough.

Yes, we must be aware about the chance of BTC fail too... Even if it's low. And I think we shouldn't be greedy, don't worry if you sold your coins today and tomorrow the price skyrocket, you should feel proud of yourself as you made some profit and a new opportunity can appear again in the future, related to Bitcoin or not. We can't imagine what opportunities will appear for us in the future as some years ago we didn't even dream about Bitcoins and here we are now.
1112  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Supermarket Accept Bitcoin on: November 01, 2017, 06:30:29 PM
for in my own environment there is no supermarket or mall that receives btc payments directly.
well its not been supported as well from where am I right now, I'm still hoping that bitcoin will be supported by most supermarkets and department stores,
if this happen here then more people will start and adopt this investment, just needed to keep watching and wait for more updates.
I am personally optimistic and I believe that one day we would see more of it. I have seen quite a few around me and I am still seeing few springing up gradually. However, I feel the volatility is one major reasons why most stores or supermarkets do not want to start adopting it yet and luckily, do not know about anyone else, but bitpay has made the whole process easy of auto converting to fiat so that no one would end up being worried about the volatility risk.

Good to know there are few supermarkets around you already accepting Bitcoin. Only time will tell if it will be worthful for supermarkets or not, if so I'm sure more supermarkets around you will adopt it too and spread the word... When a store adopts a good idea the concurrency tends to copy it and do the same thing. The volatility is surely negative for most business, but as you said, they can exchange into fiat anytime... Storing only a part of profit in BTCs is a good strategy especially during the "beta phase" of adoption.

1115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Games ? on: November 01, 2017, 04:19:31 PM
You can earn bitcoin while playing game

https://gamefaucet.com

But don't expect more its very minimal.  Smiley

This one is very nice. There are some flash games that you can play and earn few satoshis. When this site started it was very good to earn as BTC price was cheaper (higher rewards), Adsense was usable yet (more income = higher rewards), but it's still fun... If you have some children at home, show them the games, they may have interest on it and at same time they can generate some satoshis.  Cheesy

But there are other games too:

This one is new (snake game): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2339974.0
This one too(Minesweeper): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2298809.0
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your strategy for the upcoming fork in mid November? on: November 01, 2017, 03:59:55 PM
The strategy is simple: Stack most Bitcoins as possible, wait for the right moment and claim the extra free money from the fork, sell the new currency right after. Several sites owners share the new coins with people who have money on their sites, like casinos, exchanges, wallets and even faucets...

I have no problem holding my funds on sites like these, but most people prefer to put their funds into their own paper, cold wallets.
1117  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Play simple Snake Game and earn Bitcoin on: November 01, 2017, 02:44:58 PM
Very good, simple site, but very practical. Good to spend free time when there is nothing to do. People are used to play snake game on cell phones, but here it's better as we are earning some satoshis to play. The reward amount isn't much now, but in some years I hope 40 satoshis will be pricing few dollars.  Smiley

1119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your current strategy? on: November 01, 2017, 03:27:47 AM
To buy and hold or sell when a unic opportunity appears. Like when BTC suddenly rises, then I can have sure the price will drop next, it's a good opportunity to sell high and wait some days (or even hours) to buy cheap again. It's relatively safe as it's an obvious scenario, the only point that we could consider negative is that it doesn't happen all the time, but it's not a negative point at all as if it would happen BTC would be more volatile than it already is making some people stay away.
1120  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Shadow Faucet No timer Completely passive! NO ADS NO POP-UPS :D on: November 01, 2017, 02:13:57 AM
I don't know why, but the site doesn't open for me, it loads really fast and shows ERR_CONNECTION_RESET instantly.

(On the first attempt a short link opened and Antivirus alerted there was a threat).
