1121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My mother is 70 ... on: November 01, 2017, 12:49:24 AM
We talked about bitcoin today on the phone.  She asked me if she gave me 30 dollars if I could invest it for her.  I explained the volility of the coin that we could go from 100 to zero just like that.  She still wants to put in 30.

That tells me while we may not be mainstream yet, we are getting there.
I think she is rather being cautious and testing the waters before hpushed dips into it fully, I say your mom is rather very smart and if a lot of investors follow her method , they wouldn't be complaining about how they lost all their money on an investment because of a hearsay.

That is a good strategy to try the investment... If it's good I'm sure she will want to invest more later. Good that OP explained his mother all the risks, she is aware about everything and still wants to try. I don't see so many open minded people at this age like his mother.

If he is able to take care the money very well I'm sure it will be a success, the investment will grow and she will want to invest more, also maybe she could introduce more people to Crypto-Currency world from her friends circle.
1122  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is your cloud mining contract portfolio strategy? on: October 31, 2017, 11:55:44 PM
Both of these forms of mining have a cost barrier. It just so happens that the cost barrier for cloud mining is lower, but you sacrifice some freedoms so to speak. Additionally mining using your own rig requires time, which some people may not have. Still no reason to completely shut down cloud mining as a whole.

I want to share, learn, and maybe even collaborate. Investors across every form of security, asset, etc utilize strategies to mitigate risk and maximize profit, is thats what Trevon James promotes then he is not alone. And I would definitely agree with that approach. This approach can be applied to cloud mining contracts. In an earlier post someone mentioned cloud mining contract exchanges, something I would like to participate in. This derivative would provide an opportunity for investors to mitigate cloud mining risk, by holding contracts of different length and coin, along with options for when they can be purchased or sold.

These guys promoting Cloud Mining sites just want to get some referrals and make comission profit. At this point I don't think there is any good reason to invest on this kind of site, you say about strategies, but it's like saying about strategies in gambling, at some point your profit will be negative and unrecoverable. If you aren't able to receive back the same amount of coins you invested it doesn't make sense (that is legit cloud mining).
1123  Other / Meta / Re: You don't remove likely scams, But you do remove other threads? on: October 31, 2017, 11:34:42 PM
The moderators only remove spam, troll, off topic posts and threads. If the thread had posts, you will find it in Trashcan section.
Base on how I understand the OP, he is trying to say that you should have had notified him that the thread is deleted together with its components so he will know and learn from it. I mean: include the topic title or the OP of the deleted thread.

As far as I know, he can't possibly have access to the trashcan unless he is a staff.

Would be nice if we could have access to that section to see the thread that was deleted, find our post on it and check why it was deleted... It's too vague to receive that "your post was deleted" message without access to further details.
1124  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New Faucet- Bitcoin Survival on: October 31, 2017, 11:17:31 PM
Too low reward, with these rates people won't use your faucet and you will have difficult to get decent traffic. Also, you are using FaucetSystem, I think FaucetHub is more popular and you can have more users with this another micro payment system.
1125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold a Funeral ? on: October 31, 2017, 02:59:19 PM
For some reason this currency didn't get enough supporters to keep it up (lack of profissionalism? Organization?). The expectations about the November Hard Fork are better, so I think the main problem isn't the Hard Fork itself, but the way it was made by the developers.
1126  Economy / Economics / Re: Yes or No? Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters? on: October 31, 2017, 02:49:17 PM
Why unfairly? They didn't hurt anyone to get their Bitcoins as early adopters. They just enjoyed their chance as pioneers. The opportunity was there, Bitcoin wasn't so interesting on that time, but anyway these people believed its power and received their reward for it as we can see now.
In my opinion that was a very fair deal.
1127  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sun-Mining on: October 31, 2017, 03:48:42 AM
Smells like scam. There are some options of 3 years contracts, let's take the first one as an example: $18 for a 3 years contract generating $3.2 per month, after 3 years a total of $115,2 profit can be made. Cloud minings aren't so profitable like this.

Or these simulations are just a joke to lure people to invest, because there is a * with a message below:
Quote
* The average income calculated on the basis of the average statistical data on the profitability of the mined crypto currency and the exchange rate to the USD.
What means they can change this simulation every day based on new rates like usual Cloud Minings do. The profit decreases each new day, being impossible to calculate it with sure. Anyway this business looks very strange, don't invest.
1128  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Get-Bits - Up to 50 satoshi on every 5 minutes. on: October 31, 2017, 03:11:19 AM
Very simple and fast to claim, good faucet. There are some people looking for clean faucets like this without many pop-ups, short links and anti-bot links.

What is the chance to earn 50 satoshis? I got 15 satoshis first time, it's not a big prize, but as the faucet is clean I think it worth to be used with a good faucet list. Good luck with your faucet, I hope you are able to keep it running.
1129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: long term invest in bitcoin on: October 31, 2017, 12:53:26 AM
Bitcoin's market is unpredictable these days. You can wait until price drops to $5000-$5800 or you can buy Bitcoins right now with what you have as your idea is to invest for several months or even a year or so. There will be a HardFork next month, November, what means it's a unic chance of extra profit, so hurry up and make sure to buy your Bitcoins before this date doesn't matter its price.

Some people like to put a considerable amount of money in AltCoins too, but I think at this moment Bitcoins deserves more attention.
1130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can Africans benefits from Blockchain technology? on: October 30, 2017, 11:35:37 PM
If under africa you understand the 3rd world countries (not the South Africa, those guys are fine) then they will hardly benefit from blockchain. You will hardly see any kind of "CryptoTribe" app simply because big part of those people don't know how to use modern devices. Or in countries like Somali they won't get a strong benefit from any extra "information security" of blockchain because the main threat to this information is the armed bandits that can physicly get everything if they catch you.

On many places in Africa people are just trying to survive with so many wars, conflits happening at same time. It's a chaotic life, Blockchain and Bitcoins are the minor of their worries. And as you said about security: I think it's even dangerous to have much money there in BTCs, these bandits can threat them to give all the money or something bad can happen (extortion). And people may say: "But it can happen anywhere", that is a land without order or law, so there isn't police or the police isn't trustful.
1131  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: my.faucethero.com on: October 30, 2017, 07:59:43 PM
inviting you guys once again to my doge faucet. no more problematic shortlinks, already removed.

reward: 1~1.5 DOGE every 60 seconds
ref commission: 20%
link: http://my.faucethero.com

thanks.

Ok, claimed again. Now there is only one short-link, good.

I understand things are hard for faucets nowadays. I don't know if 1 DOGE every 60 seconds is interesting, you must test different possibilities, if it doesn't work (if you don't get many users), try to increase countdown time and reward a bit. You can try 5 minutes, 10 minutes... Find the more rentable configuration.
1132  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: October 30, 2017, 02:52:32 PM
I think it's not the best way to recognize Bitcoin. Bitcoin should bring banks to decentralization, not banks take Bitcoin to centralization/regulation. People are euphoric about it thinking they will have lots of benefits, but I don't doubt after sometime people start complaining about this decision and remembering how easy and better was to use Bitcoins before... What I can see here is that Bitcoin is gaining power on Philippines and that is calling the attention of their authorities.
1133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never stop buying Bitcoin on: October 30, 2017, 02:06:18 PM
It's always good to keep buying Bitcoins and storing maximum as possible, but keep your mind opened, at some point Bitcoin can stop being the success it's today and to continue buying it can become worthless. Diversify the investments is the best option, don't put all your money into Crypto-Currency, there are several kinds of opportunities everywhere that shouldn't be wasted.
1134  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: October 30, 2017, 01:37:58 PM
Hello.

That is joke Huh I have need to wagered 51600 sat to get this 2000 sat in my balance Huh

Where do you access that kind of information? I can't find it anywhere.

When you click Multiply BTC tab you see this message: You are eligible for a bonus of X BTC for playing MULTIPLY BTC! Click here to claim your bonus.

When you click that "Click Here" link it will appear a new tab that you must agree to receive your bonus. The amount they offer you as bonus you multiply for x25 (you need to bet the amount you receive in bonus 25 times to be able to claim the reward). In this case 2064 x 25 = 51600.

I think the picture this guy posted here is that because he accepted the terms and entered the bonus mode, now he must bet it 25 times... Too risky task, better to don't do it. Anyway just click that link to read the terms.
1135  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New biccoin faucet chipcoin.ru on: October 30, 2017, 01:23:29 PM
CoinHive mining operation behind this faucet. Many people don't like this feature.

Got 25 satoshis, thank you. Optional short-link to earn extra satoshis is a good idea, possible to earn 40 satoshis every 30 minutes.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: October 30, 2017, 02:47:54 AM
Feeling proud when i win in gambling, because its only once happen in our life especially in the jackpot. Because its not so easy to win, especially if you have not enough skills or your lucky. Most of people have different feelings, most especially in the jackpot and makes you excite because of the profit. People loves to win and winning can feels good. The reason why we gamble because we want earn easily money and profit.
Even for people who say they gamble for fun, no doubt, winning is the thing they also want. Gamblers who gamble for fun or for profit will feel good when they win, it is human nature. If he is not happy when he wins, I doubt if he is human or not?

Yes, it's always a nice conquest to win big in gambling even if you are playing for fun. I think the difference between who plays for fun and who plays for profit is that the first group see the game as a hobby and won't complain a lot if they lose their money, also they won't waste all their money trying to recover their losses, they just stop playing at some point and go away.

But the second group is more problematic, the fun is in second plan, they are playing mainly for profit and without winning the game it doesn't make sense, so they go until the last penny, seeing gambling as a job that must give profit at all costs. But both kinds of gamblers will enjoy a victory a lot.
1137  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What are faucets? on: October 30, 2017, 02:35:58 AM
Try FreeBitco.in. It's one of the oldest faucets in the industry paying since 2013. They have a generous referral program, Dice game, investment option and Rewards system. Very unic and original site, I suggest you visit and use it often, also their another faucet, FreeDoge.co.in.
1138  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking To Start A Small Business With Bitcoin on: October 28, 2017, 03:09:20 PM
Every business needs one plan first. Make a plan , study the market, read a lot, think what can you offer that others don't until know and then start applying your plan. That is a must for every business starter. There are quite a lot of ways to earn through bitcoin , you just need to be creative.
I have a little small business plan for additional and activity or work .. and I want to run the business from bitcoin results, I want to make distro and accessories from below or from makeshift capital and I will increase from the results bitcoin .. because I am sure with my association they will appreciate my efforts and buy it and can i sell online too ..

It's a good move. Try to advertise your business most as possible on Social Medias saying you accept Bitcoin and if people don't know what it is, explain them. I don't know if you business is virtual only or physical too, but you can put a sign on your place if you have one with that message: "Bitcoin accepted here" and the BTC logo. If it's a touristic area the chances of success increase, as there are some tourists travelling the world and spending Bitcoins where it's accepted.
1139  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: my.faucethero.com on: October 28, 2017, 03:02:34 PM
Two short links, three captchas to claim 1 DOGE + anti-bot links. I think it's too much and takes too much time to complete the process...

I think it takes 1 minute or so to claim 1 DOGE. Anyway got the reward in the end, thank you.
1140  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment amount on: October 28, 2017, 04:38:21 AM
Invest $300 into Bitcoin is such a risky action and you can even lose your money in a second if you are not aware with it. Investment in the internet is always risky, no matter how much percentage you get or free risky whatever is that. It's no use and you should be careful about everything.

Yes, the risk is always there. To invest into Bitcoins you must be able to take the risk and the possible consequences, positive or not. $300 is a good amount to start, but if the person doesn't have much money I think even $100 is already enough, but the ideal is to invest maximum as possible, an amount the investor can afford to lose, but maximum as possible. And always checking the market, after a big dump is the best moment to get in.
