Will this pool be signaling for segwit at any point?
I ran a search to find Kano's opinions on it and it seems he's opposed to it for a few reasons. Attempted dev control of bitcoin and disk space issues stand out the most in my memory. Any further clarifications would be appreciated. I don't visit the forums that much, so I apologize if I missed a post regarding it.
Would also be very interested to hear ck's opinion as well. Thanks.
I'm not Kano or -ck, but I know they are both against it and it will not be integrated into the pool software unless over 95% of the miners accept it and it becomes required. I'm completely against it and I'm voting by mining on a pool (Kano/CK) that is against it. EDIT: I also believe it would mean less transaction fees for individual miner, if I remember correctly. Come on BLOCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!EDIT2: I'm also running Bitcoin Core version v0.13.0 (64-bit). I think v0.13.1 adds the segregated witness features. Therefore, I will not update my core from Bitcoin Core version v0.13.0 (64-bit). I don't know if that makes any difference in terms of acceptance or not. But I'm stubborn that way.

Very happy to see our top-Five Big Irons holding down the fort with about 10PH amongst them!! So very helpful!! Forever grateful for your support!!

Thats 32 724.84 TH which is correct. Remember 100Th is 1PH. Kano has just chosen to display the pools combined hash rate as terra hashes which is completely fine. If it were to be displayed in PH it would be 34.724PH. Note the comma joining the 34 and 724 making it 34 724TH
Don't you mean 1,000TH =1PH? Oops typo. Let me correct that No problem! Happens to me all the time! The bright side of your statement would be that my ~50TH would be half of a PH! I wish I had that real hash!!

Thank you wmabern. I was able to login. The 2 controllers have been up for nearly a day, bossing around the hashing boards and getting used to a diet of coal fired Appalachian electricity.
I don't know how common the problem I had is, but the solution should be easier to find. This seems like something that should be on the Bitmain trouble shooting page.
Cool. I'm glad that trick worked. I have had to use it before on an S9 that wouldn't reset and I couldn't get into the web interface.

That is a very good question. It IS more profitable than most -if not all - of the medium to large mining pools. That question can only be answered by those who mine somewhere else. Perhaps they would rather have the glitz and glam of a flashy web interface with slick graphics that finds less blocks than have a sturdy pool that finds and processes blocks more quickly and efficiently than other pools. Or perhaps they just don't know any better or have no idea what they are doing...? For me? Screw the fancy graphics give me performance. It's about earning money, not about eye-candy.

I bought 5 Antminer s9's. I can't login to 2 of them. IP reporter works. I can only login to the other 3 using the Google Chrome browser. I can't login using Firefox or Opera or Microsoft Edge. I did clear cache and cookies.
Is there a problem with s9 login? The 2 s9's that I can't login to appear to be working. They each have spinning fans, hot air and flashing green lights. When I put one of their IP addresses into the Google Chrome browser I get the proper login form. When I type in the username root and password root then hit enter, the login form goes away briefly then comes back with the user name and password blank.
Does anyone have a login suggestion? Why can I only login with Google Chrome? I have tried using a paper clip to reset on the Antminers but it doesn't help.
I have had reset problems with my S9's before. But not the login issue. What I would suggest trying is to power the controller only. After powering on, wait a few minutes until it settles down then try the paperclip reset again. Hold it in for at leat 10-15 seconds. It should reset them. Hopefully! Then you should be able to get in with the default user/pw. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
