Man, I'm loving all that GREEN on the Block Statistics table!

Mine ran for about 6 months. Pulling in outside air pollen moths:) etc. when temps rose above 70 they would push close to 80c board temp. I pulled them offline. Blew them out. You wouldn't believe the dust bunnies inside them. Now I've got them oc to 575 and 85 f they made it to 60c board temp. I feel they will be good up to 90-95 before I need to clock them back down. Def want to get some compressed air and get them clean.
BR
Yes, mine are definitely past due for a good cleaning. We have one of those electric computer blowers for electronic devices at work. We use it to blow out dust and cobwebs from computers and case. I keep meaning to bring it home one weekend when I can get motivated to tear down four S9's one by one and clean them thoroughly. That blower works 100 times better than canned air. I guess an air compressor and hose would work just as well. Just have to be careful not to damage anything with a very strong blast of air. I'm sure it will lower my temps and add a little more longevity to the miners.

I also read what you wrote in the slush thread. That you have your miner ip saved as a bookmark. If your miner is still set to DHCP, that ip can change.
Log into your router and double check for the ip address of your miner.
my friend thanks for your response. my miner is in dhcp setting. i log my router but the router cannt see the miner. just show me the pc ip address. seems like miner disappears. I have an idea. Go to the Awesome Miner thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=676942.0 - and download the free version of Awesome Miner. Once you have it installed on your PC, click the "New Miner" button in the top left of the program, this will allow you to install a new miner. Click next and then choose the 2nd option, "External Miner - Network scan". Click "Next" again and then click "Start Scan" button. It should find your miner IP Address. It will default to the 192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.255 address range. If your IP address on your network is different, you must change the scanning address range as needed. Let us know how it goes. Good luck. EDIT: Of course your miner needs to be running and connected to the network for this to work. Good luck.

im trying to get in s9 ip address but i cant."ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT". so i cant change pool. is there any chance someboby hack the system?
I'm not exactly sure what you are saying. Are you saying that when you put the miner IP address in the browser address bar it comes back and gives you that error? If so, I would make sure the miner address is correct. If you are positive the IP address is correct, try using a different browser. You could also do a hard reset on the miner. That will put you back to the antpool pool address, then you should be able to get into the miner GUI through the web browser and change pools. Good luck! If you have anymore questions, don't hesitate to ask. P.S. I doubt your system has been hacked. yes exactly. error also and other browsers. ip is correct. its bookmark on top. i also try to reset the s9 but nothing happens. doesnt make the reset. in the pool show that my miner work fine. any ideas? You - we, should probably take this problem to the Mining Support forum. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=40.0Myself or others should be able to help you. Just start a New Topic and explain your problem. I'm sure you will get a simple and easy to fix solution. Good luck!

I don not understand what that means.
The Koenigsegg One:1 is a "hypercar" build for speeds of up to 231mph. IMO, there are only 2 reasons to buy anything from Bitmain: 1) To maximize profits. 2) To underclock and have the illusion of profits. With a 4% diff increase every 2 weeks, each rig (no matter who makes it) is literally 4% less profitable than the prior 2 week period. Once you add in underclocking into that mix, the unlikelihood of profits rises exponentially. Well I am in the "Maximize profits" category. The only reason I under clock during days when it gets hot outside is to preserve the miners so that they will continue making a profit for me as long as possible.

guys 13 hours without block and pool luck 153% for the last 10 blocks. is this normal?
They will only update pool luck when the next block is found. That luck number is what the luck was when the last block was found. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. That is the main reason I moved away from Slush. You only get paid your full share if you happen to be mining at full speed when the block is found. I moved to a PPLNS pool where ALL of your miner work is counted. may i ask in which pool you are now? Kano Pool https://www.kano.is/index.phpLower pool hash rate so the blocks are less frequent. But a LOT LESS people to share the Block Reward with. So I'm coming out ahead more than I was on Slush. Also, you get paid for all of your work even if you stop mining on the pool. You still get payments from your previous miner work.

why need to under clock when the temp just 76'f /25'c still much lower from antminer spec under 40'c Because if you buy a Koenigsegg One:1 and only drive it in the stop-and-go traffic of the inner-city, you can still brag to people that you have a Koenigsegg One:1. I don not understand what that means.

why need to under clock when the temp just 76'f /25'c still much lower from antminer spec under 40'c Because I have four S9's in a small spare bedroom. Two fans pull in outside air onto the miner air intakes. Another fan is for exhaust. When the outside air temp get's to be 75F and hotter, the miner chip temps start to get hot - over 97-103C. I don't like them running that hot so I turn the frequency down so that the chip temps stay in the mid 90's C. EDIT: They all also need a good cleaning. So I need to take them off-line one by one and disassemble them blowing out dust and cleaning the fans. I'm sure that will lower my temps by about 5C. I just have to find the time.

Ready for more Sweeeet back-to-back BLOCKSSSSSSS!!!!! (I'll settle for one soon and another shortly thereafter! "Just saying it could even make it happen" -Kate Bush Happy Saturday everyone! (For those of you still on Saturday) EDIT: I've had to turn my miners' frequency down to 500Mhz until the sun goes down and it cools off some. Only contributing ~ 43TH now. Couple more hours and I'll be back up to speed! Cheers! 5:38pm here in NJ. I got my 3 solar array powered avalon's pointed here. Bout time for a block I say Same time here in the North Carolina mountains, of course. But it's still 76 degrees F outside with bright sun. The temp will probably start to drop after 7:00PM and I can go back to 600Mhz on the miners. Yes, a block right about now would seem appropriate! COMEONBLOCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

Hi guys!!! I have Two S9 and I would like to know how much bandwidth does an Antminer take per month? thank you I hope you can help me
I don't have a number for you, but a miner (S7, S9 etc.) uses very little bandwidth to UL/DL data from a pool. If you were to use a proxy it would take even less. But with only two miners, a proxy isn't really needed. Good luck.

Hey Kano! I've hopped over to your pool from Slush a couple days back to see what all the talk is about and have one quick question... I have 3 13.5TH S9's pointed at your pool right now. Do you recommend keeping Min-Diff setting on the Workers-Management menu set to 0? Or is there a sweet spot for these miners that your recommend? Thanks! And it's very nice to see you so active on this board! I'm NOT Kano of course, but I do believe the "sweet spot" is 0 (Zero). Just let the pool control the diff. That's what I have always done with my S9's. I also think that is what Kano recommends. (He may be grabbing a few hours of shut-eye now. I have no idea what time it is where he lives.) Welcome to the pool and best of luck. Get your 5ND rampped up to the full level - take about three days - and you will see the full payouts for your hash rate. The good part about the 5ND is that if you stop mining here you will still be seeing payout from your previous work. That's what I DON'T like about Slush. You pretty much have to be mining almost exactly when the block is found and you lose scoring hash rate fast. Not so here. All the work you do is counted. Which I like a lot. Also since the pool is smaller than Slush your {BLOCK} rewards are much greater. They may take a little bit more time to hit blocks, but the payouts are nice! Anyway good luck and stick around to get the full benefit of the pool. EDIT: I currently have four S9's pointed here. They are all under-clocked at the moment until the sun goes down and it cools off. Normally I get ~50-52TH from them. They are the 12.95 miners but with up-graded firmware. v2. COMEONBLOCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
