Cloud mining is a scam.
Try renting hashrate from Nicehash and point it to a pool if you are interested.
Do your research and then go for it or not.
To the OP, What HagssFIN said. Don't waste your time or money on anything "cloud mining" related. The only two legitimate services to rent from - that I am aware of - is NiceHash, like HagssFIN said, or MRR -Mining Rig Rentals. I am partial to MRR for a number of reasons. Their rentals may/will be a little bit pricier, but IMO, you get a better quality rental experience. If your rental doesn't meet a certain standard, you will be reimbursed for the lack of speed or time. You can also pick and choose what miners you want to rent and from whom. I have used both services many times in the past. There are quite a few other reasons I prefer MRR, but no need to go into them here. Read up on both services and make a choice for yourself. Stay away from other services that promise you the moon but give you very little or nothing at all. Good luck.

Hi All,
Do you know there is an opportunity that you can invest and be a miner starting $500 ? any one who is interested on it can contact me the company called bitclub network
Kind Regards,
Hi, wmabern here. I am at work and I saw this post. I don't have my regular user password so I created this login. For any newbie reading this, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT fall for this ponzi/pyramid scheme. Save your money and ignore things like this. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is! And this is a scam to suck the money from gullible people. Yes, I'm backkkkkkk! I can confirm the above post was truly me posting from work. I didn't know what my forum login credentials were since I use a password manager at home. But when I saw the post about bitclub network, I got all pissed off inside and didn't want any of the hundreds of thousands of newbies... (yes, an exaggeration, but it sure seems like that many! throwing their money away on that scam. Not that I've been burnt by them or something like that and it seems - to me - that it is an obvious scam, but the scammers wouldn't keep doing it if there were no more naive people to be scammed. Hopefully I've saved at least one person from tossing good money away. "starting $500"... You gotta be kidding me!!! Okay, here's the deal, if you "almost" sent them 500 bucks but didn't because of my warning, send me $1 instead! No, just kidding. Don't wanna get banned for something stupid like that. COMEONBLOCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! You know what pool I'm talking about!! ~~~~We now return you to your regularly scheduled program already in progress~~ ~~

[{When I began to try and give you ideas for your problem, I was trying to remember something else myself. Now I have completely forgotten what I wanted to do!! LOL }] Posted by: ItsCrafty Insert Quote Hello,
I forgot my password and did not have access to my email ID that I used to register as well.
I did not see any support/help page which will help me with this, so posting it as a new thread. Please feel free to move it to appropriate section.
I had to create a new ID since I could not log in my original ID. Is there a way to reinstate that account?
The user ID on my main account is crafty.
Thanks for any help.
*** SINCE you are trying to get into THIS WEBSITE, this website uses an EMAIL ADDRESS as the USERNAME and then a chosen NAME to be displayed on the header of your pages and beside of your posts. Think carefully. I don't have any real, cool tips guaranteed to get you logged in. BUT, BEFORE YOU CLEAR YOUR BROWSER CACHE, HISTORY AND BOOMARKS, look at those and see if you can find any information to jog your memory within that. Just make sure you follow best practices for using browsers such as clearing your browser cache and history as your next steps. Also try to use the same browser you used when you originally signed up. Then, Also, try DIFFERENT browsers too! I'll just throw some tips out there, maybe something will stick! Of course, restart your computer AFTER AFTER you have tried the cache, history and bookmarks and see if there is anything there that jogs your memory. Only run the single application (browser) to get you logged into the website. Make sure you know what your caps-lock keys are doing. clear browser cache and any other settings that will get you back to default settings. Reset your applications back to default to see if some new settings you don't remember setting will get you back. (Is there any reason creating a new account will have any problems associated with it? I mean do you have some coins in there already or something you will lose access to if you must recreate? If you were listening to some music, try to put the same tunes back on and see if any ideas come to you. (What I have tried sometimes in the past is to write down on a piece of paper your username and passwords.... If you are 100% SURE of the ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE USERNAME, Write that down on the paper and only try different passwords with DIFFERENT combinations of the passwords with capitals and lower case. As you try each combination, cross through that password and move on to the next one. Be VERY, VERY thorough. Do you have an email confirmation for when you first signed up that lists your username and password. Is there a password reset link in the confirmation email (if you got one or have access to it) Did it ask you for a security question or prompt you for hints to help you remember it when you signed up? To PREVENT this from ever happening again, get a program called ROBOFORM!!! https://www.roboform.com/It's FREE for the FIRST TEN UserNames and PassWords (I think!) Why is it CRUCIAL that you are able to get back into this account instead of creating a new account? I have a username and password I'm trying to remember myself! <<Now if I could only remember what I was trying to remember!>> LOL Oh well!

Anyone know what coating is on Bitmain's units (at least on their newer ones, S7 onwards)? It's tough as nails. I'm wondering if it's an epoxy.
Coating on what part of the miner? I have 7's and 9's.

hi to all
I want invest 200.000 $ thousand to start bitcoin mining i read alot about mining but still confused
What is your advice about bitming !? Should i start !? What is the best mining Reg ! I have free electricity wih full load!?
Waiting ur advice
Best regards
Just my two cents of advice... If you are even still slightly confused about how to proceed in getting into Bitcoin mining, your best bet is to start SLOWLY and get a single S9 before jumping into the deep end of the swimming pool. Learn how to do everything you will need to do with multiple miners on the single S9. Then if it seems like something you can deal with - electrical, cooling, ventilation [ removing HOT air from your mining area is paramount. Do not just think using an air conditioner is a simple answer; it's not], networking, setting up and mining to your own private wallet, transferring coins to and from an exchange, and the many other chores you will need to master to be successful - then you can expand. I'm just speaking from experience. Read, read, read anything and everything on this forum's threads regarding hardware, mining software (Awesome Miner or something similar), routing and networks, troubleshooting, etc. And many more topics. It's the little things that don't occur off the top of your head at first. In the long run you will be very thankful for the accumulated knowledge about the whole process you will have obtained. Once you KNOW exactly what you are doing, then you can knowledgeably take on partners/associates. Just my thoughts on how I would do it. Good luck.

I have a question, How much would I make if I join your pool with one Antminer S9?
cheers
Many online Bitcoin calculators that will let you you plug in all the variables - including electricity- to find out very closely what you will make under different circumstances. That is your best reference. My Favorite! https://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/bitcoin-mining-calculatorGood luck!

BITMAIN WARRANTY should be able to help you out. They've successfully resolved issues I had with two different S9's. On a side note, I am surprised you had an issue with the controller. The only time anything like that happened to me was about a month ago and the issue ended up being a defective Ethernet cable that I stepped on or didn't crimp right. Glad you fixed the issue though This is the 2nd controller card I have ever had die. No outward signs on the last one but this one definitely had some melted plastic on the back of the black board unlike the black board I replaced it with. I checked Bitmain and they have this one in stock. https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=000201611160734291469K134u1i0621I'm not sure if it's a newer model or that it will be compatible with my older S9. They do make single piece controllers without the black board that will work on older models. Just not sure if this is one of them. I posted the question to Bitmain support and waiting for an answer. I'll spend 60$ if it will work.

Since no one has chimed in, I might as well post an update for anyone having similar problems. Maybe my information will be of help to others.
So, I took the faulty miner apart and pulled the controller boards - both the green and black board that fit together.
Looking at the black board, I noticed it had what appeared to be melted plastic on the back side. I would post a picture but too much trouble.
So I pulled another S9 that only has two boards hashing and I swapped out the controller - both green and black board - and put them into the original miner with three good boards.
Fired it up and it's now been hashing for 40+ minutes. It would have shut down in that time frame before.
I guess I need to get another black board to put back into the two-board miner.
Does anyone know if Bitmain Warranty or Bitmain themselves will sell a black controller board for a 600Mhz miner, 12.93TH? Of course it's a non-autotune.
For now, just happy I was able to get a complete three-board miner back on-line and hashing.
Also, if anyone reading this has a black S9 controller card they would like to sell, drop me a PM and we may be able to work something out.
Thanks for reading. :-)

Hey folks,
I've got an older S9 - might have been the first one I got. It has been running like a champ for a long time. Always running cool and with very few HW errors.
Anyway, I noticed today it suddenly popped up in Awesome Miner as being disconnected. So I unplugged and re-plugged the power. It came up again all boards hashing normally with good speed, temp and all-around good numbers on all boards.
But after 15-20 minutes it stopped hashing again. Power cycle brought it back again but after 15 minutes or so, it stopped hashing again.
Since the boards seem to be running OK, I'm guessing the controller is dying.
I have other S9's I could swap out the controller with and test. But I REALLY hate to have another miner off line now as the coin price continues to rise. But to pinpoint the problem, I guess I will do that tomorrow.
Any thoughts from the hardware pros appreciated. Thanks!
Edit: I'm not looking for a solution or fix if it is the controller. All I'm asking is if the symptoms match a failing controller. Thanks. :-)
EDIT2: I just powered up the misbehaving S9 to see if a good nights rest would help it out. LOL No such luck. Stopped hashing completely in about 5 minutes. Grrrr. :-(
Time to swap out some hardware after a little more coffee.
