Received my replaced boards a few days ago. Except for the VERY expensive cost of shipping a hash board and a BB board to China, all is cool. I couldn't believe how much it cost!!  |

i get message today from them (Your repair order has been sended.) and ups track no is that mean it repaired ? when i open the ticket i get  what that ( Hava Replace ) mean ? That was the status on a dead hash board and BB Black board I returned. They sent replacements. I was wondering what that meant also. |

Yep, one of my S9's found a block. Don't remember the batch number for sure, but I'm guessing batch 3. Also on Kano CKPool.  |

When I first plugged in my first S9, after about 10 mins, the speed on one board shot sky high. Don't remember the number but the temp shot sky high too. I quickly did a reboot and it has not happened since. This was not long after the S9 first came out. It's a 600mhz model. Weird. I made a post on this thread about it with a screen shot when it happened. Too lazy to look for it now. |

Power blackout in Labrador but it's back up.Let them sort it out. Kano pool is PPLNS so no worries....  --- I am sleepy when I wrote this last line...  Oy! I imagine they're wrestling alligators up there... Is my perception/math off, or is Labrador supporting over a PH of rate here? Ie., seems the pool rate went down just perceptibly when the data center went down. Juvia's army has approx 1.3+ PH in Labrador. Way cool! |

How about MRR.
I don't know anything about NH/WH, but MRR is not being blocked as I have two small rentals running from there pointed to Kano right now. We Need Some Saturday BLOCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Now would be just fine!  |

Sure wish they would sell me one. They seem to just keep engaging in behavior that self-amplifies their rep. Sheesh. In other news...nice to see 50PH and green...  Wish the 50PH would start bringing in a flood of BLOCKS! I want to see a spate of GREEN BLOCKS coming in so fast I can't log them in my spreadsheet fast enough!! |

I don't think that picture is of an S9 BB board (at least not the batch I have. Might be an earlier batch).
The center, far left on mine has a shiny aluminum shield to cover where the Ethernet cable plugged in. At least that's how it was on my S9 bb board.

They might have not just updated that page. The pins and the functions are all the same for every Beaglebone Black board. You could even go with the original Beaglebone Black. It doesn't look like the one I pulled off of my S9 to send in for repair. (I don't think) But it's impossible to say from the picture compared to the "picture" in my memory. LOL. You would think that if @Sierra8561 asked them to sell him one, that they would have pointed him there if it was indeed the same for an S9. But I don't know and I'm too lazy to go into the miner room and see if I can tell if the BB boards on my S9's look like the one pictured. Wouldn't be able to tell much anyway without taking it apart. I have 3 hash boards arriving today. I'm excited to get them up and going. I'm a little disappointed in Bitmain. I sent back a bad BB board that got lost on its way. I asked how much they would sell me a new board for, their response was they won't sell me one. So I will basically have a worthless miner, that came broken out of the box.
I'm glad to hear you're getting three boards back today! Sorry to hear that they "lost" a BB board. It really sucks they won't sell you a part that they no doubt have in stock. I shipped my bad BB board and the bad hash board together in the same box. I thought about shipping them separately, but decided that it would be best to have as few possible points of failure in the shipping chain. You "may" be able to get an S9 BB board from Colorado in a few months. I would contact them, if you haven't already. Until then, yeah, I guess you're screwed. |

Well, my warranty-repaired S9 parts shipped out of China yesterday, and UPS tracking shows the package just left Osaka, Japan with an estimated delivery of Monday! So, not sure if the parts were repaired or replaced - the ticket /order form is not very clear on that. It does have the word "Replace" on it. Anyway, hopefully I'll get back a working S9 600mHz hash board and a functioning BB Black board. All will be gravy if that is the case - Just as long as they work!! If I get it back in working order on Monday, it will be three weeks exactly from the day it shipped out from my UPS store. I will have no complaints. (Other than it cost a small fortune to send the parts back to China.) As long as it works and other miners don't start dying! Wish me luck!!! More BLOCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! |
