Just noticed our pool hash rate is through the roof!! Certainly the highest I have ever seen and probably the highest it has ever been. But did I miss the memo that the difficulty has risen to 850 quadrillion, zillion? FOTHER MUCKER!! you were sleeping all this time No, I've other things going on and I try not to watch the pool as much as I have at times. You know what they say (whoever "they" are), "a watched pot never boils". Got to work an extra shift tonight as security at the IT place where I work. 8 Pm tonight to 5 AM tomorrow. Normally I'm an IT specialist during the week but picking up extra hours as night security also. Over-time pay is nice. Lack of blocks is not so nice..... LET'S DO IT!!!

I'm pretty sure the diff change would have no effect on your miners speed. Did you try a reboot?
Dunno. I rebooted a couple of them just the other day when Kano restarted something because miners were dropping off and on. I thought I had something going on here so I did some rebooting of my own before I saw his post. Heck one of them I even reset to factory defaults and reconfigured just to make sure. I don't know what your issues may be. But if the diff changes were to slow down miners, my S9's would all be hashing below 5TH/s with all the diff changes they have seen. LOL Good luck with it!

S9 on Bitmain went up in price.
Just for a comparison - The 14Ths S9s (not 13.5) just delivered for the October batch were $1141 (And they're underperforming the July and August 13.5THs units.) Well all my 14.5's that were getting 14.5 are now all getting 13.5. Maybe the difficulty change has slowed them down? I'm pretty sure the diff change would have no effect on your miners speed. Did you try a reboot?

hello guys, is it possible to Rent Nicehash TH and run to kano.is ? nicehash is asking certain difficulty to set up? anyone have tried it works?
Yes, it is. I used to do it but it's been about a year. I don't know the difficulty setting NH uses, but if you are required to pick one, you can always go into the Workers page under Management and set the difficulty. As I said, it's been so long that I don't remember what I did. On Mining Rig Rentals, the renter would specify the difficulty and then I would go into the management on the Kano site and change it to match. I'm sure others can give you a better answer.

@clgrissom3 - Hey Sonny, I was away for a few days and missed your birthday. Happy birthday!!
Thanks John! They seem to come way faster each year than they use to Good to see an overnight block! Yes, I hope you had a happy birthday! Perhaps we can get some more of those belated-birthday blocks! The 4-Block day was a nice touch! Indeed! Brings back memories of the "olden days". LOL

I have a blade in my S9 box that?s gone bad. I sent it to bitmain warranty but they could not repair it and sent it back. I?m considering buying another S9 and taking my S7 offline. I was wondering though, just to maximize hashing, could I remove of the S7 blades and put it in the s9 box? Would it work or would the controller not recognize it? Are there any dangers to mixing blades?
Thanks!
I personally think it would be a bad idea. No empirical proof or electrical engineering degree but you are mixing up electrical components that don't belong together. I think you have about three or four things that may happen from least to worst: 1) It just won't work 2) You will destroy the S7 board 3) you will screw up the whole miner, controller and all 4) Fire If you were to try it, I would do so outside, in a garage, or someplace with non-flammable surroundings. Just my .002

lol got 0.00435827 BTC after 29 hour of mining with 80 TH
You must not have reached your 5Nd yet. I'm running aprox. 45-47 TH steady for the last week and my payout for this last block was 0.00707651
