Woke up to blocks and a big, blue sky. Both are good things right now. We dodged two hurricanes. Best to wmabern as well.
Mine on....
EDIT: I like to see the spot increase, but not necessarily this quickly * ...hmmm.
Glad you dodged the storms! We did in my area as well. The storm tracked farther to the east along the eastern US coast. I think it has moved quickly to the NE. I hope all of those folks didn't get hit too hard. I haven't been following news or weather in the last few days. Mine On, as Well! Couple more blocks for the day! * Yes, the price jumped up very quickly. I was out at the pub and just happened to check the coin price last night. Needless to say, I was surprised.

Going out to the pub for the evening for some brews and blues (or blue grass). Please hold down the fort and reel in a couple more BLOCKSSSSSSSS before the night-shift comes on duty. Back in the wee hours of the morn! Blessings to all!

Come on BLOCK SIX! btw, pool Hash drop to 37PHHmmm, wonder if there are issues like a few days ago with connections or people have just jumped to another pool. Don't see why anyone would jump now as our luck has been steadily getting better over the last few days. As you said, "COME ON BLOCK SIX! Number Six, Number Six, Number Six, Number Six, Number Six, Number Six, Number Six, Number Six.... (It's actually down in the low 35's real-time, I believe) ~ Seriously don't like that. I want us back at 43-44. Please. Edit: Going back up now. So realistically there is no use watching the hash speed minute to minute. It's when it stays down or continues to fall is when I get concerned. So I'll shut up about that! LOL

Thanks man! Glad to hear you're not gonna get hammered with rain & you can keep your miners running Here blocky, blocky Well, I just had to shut my miners down. Not because of rain, but my landscape guy is on his tractor cutting my grass. I have forgotten to close the windows on that side of the house once before when he cut it and you could see the layers of dust, dirt and grass clippings stuck to the window screens and window fan blades. I have since blown the dust out of all my miners and wiped down the fans. So now as soon as I hear the lawn mowers fire up, I run into the "coin room" and quickly unplug everything and close my windows! He's almost done anyway, so my miners will be back online in 5-10 more minutes. In the meantime, I had started a small 100TH rental from MRR yesterday to cover me when I thought I would have to be off-line today. So I'm still hashing along! Time for BLOCK SIX! EDIT: All my miners are back on-line. It took all of 30 minutes. So now I have a whopping extra ~38TH back on the pool. I've got another S9 that's in pieces on my desk waiting on B-man to (HOPEFLLY) return a NEW hash board and a NEW BB Black board. That will get me up to around ~50TH with my own hardware, and that's where I'm going to have to stay for the foreseeable future. Come on BLOCK SIX!

Slept in late - nice to wake up to 4 blocks! Looks like Tropical Storm Hermine has started turning east out to sea so Jersey shore will be spared the brunt of it (I'm .6 miles from the ocean & get jittery after the spanking that Hurricane Sandy gave us - still have 15 houses in town that never got repaired). Was hoping for nice 3 day weekend but looks like nothing but wind & rain, but at least we won't get flooded again. Let's keep those blocks coming! Mine on, my friends Best of luck to you and your neighbors for the storm. Hopefully just a little damp without too much rain or flooding. Yes, "Hermine" moved farther to the east along the coast. So the heavy rains that were predicted just one day ago for my mountainous area will not receive any rain this far inland. Maybe a thunder shower in the late afternoon, which is normal summer-time weather around here. I was thinking just yesterday I might need to shut down my miners for the day, as I can't have the window fans sucking in torrential rains onto the miners. But it all looks clear now. Here's to finding a torrential downpour of blocks today! Best wishes!!

It is so VERY cool outside right now, 49 degrees F. My S9 board temps are in the mid to upper 40's, and the chip temps are in the mid 70's! LOVE IT! Fall is right around the corner! Happy Saturday everyone! Edit: That is with default clock speeds!

Nice day for kano So far, so very good!! We still have more than half of the official mining day remaining - for me it ends at 8 PM EST USA. About 13 hours. Looks to be a very productive day on the Block front! Keep it up girls and guys! I'm pulling ya! Edit: Probably shouldn't have said anything. Don't want to jinx the good vibes and positive monads flowing freely upon us! Come on Blocky #Five! Number Five, Number Five, Number Five, Number Five, Number Five, Number Five.... (My apologies to the Beatles.)

A VERY nice start to Block Saturday indeed! The prettiest greens you ever did see. It's like spring with the green "leaves" sprouting up! Just as the weather tomorrow is supposed to be spring-like. Our turn of luck has been a very pleasant and steady climb. Keep the fires stoked in the BTC boilers! Full speed ahead!

I have one dead board shipping to my home due tues-weds.
Second dead board was acknowledged as received .
so with good luck both boards will be hashing by next fri.
Good luck with both of your boards. Just checked and mine are still showing "Uncollected". Grrrr. For the outrageous price it cost to send those two items to B-man - all 3.8 pounds of it - I certainly hope to receive the two items replaced. I'll be happy if they return home in the next two weeks. Here Blocky, Blocky......... !

Sorry for a little bit more OT, but Linux terminal is a bear for people like me that started their IT career with DOS and then on to Windows. The terminal doesn't "scare" me, it's just that the way I learned to do things doesn't always apply in the Linux Mint terminal environment. But it's pretty much just like the DOS command line. Just different commands. LOL However, I am making some progress. Not sure I will get the Cgminer running under Linux, but it's a learning experience, that's for sure. Any helpful, current links or tips are still highly valued! And yes, I have read the threads on here about it. Might have to revisit the threads again tonight. Come on Blocky, Blocky! One more to close out the day!! We still have 10 minutes!
