1761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to LUNC after its founder is arrested?! on: September 14, 2022, 07:46:02 PM
What do you guys think?
What is the fate of the Luna Classic coin after the arrest of Do Kwon? Will after this bad news investors will continue to HODL the LUNC coin?
Why are you asking this just now? Isn't it that when the original Luna has dropped together with UST, that's already a sign that people should have their enough from these projects? And now with the arrest, it's obvious that you should have just dumped the token when it was pumping.
After that problem they've got, there's really no more credibility on the people behind these projects. Think of a stable coin that has dropped to zero, damn, that's already a total red flag.
1762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your diversification strategy? on: September 14, 2022, 06:50:46 PM
How does BTC play into your balance or diversification?

What does your pie chart look like?
My portfolio is composed of btc, a few alts and real world assets like real estate. BTC and real estate share almost the same amount in my pie chart.
But, btc is more having in terms of value because it's just down these days because of the market situation but during the bull run, it's like 4x-5x more than the real estate that I've got.
1763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it advisable as a starter to engage in future trade? on: September 13, 2022, 10:34:25 AM
Good advice to take a risk-free decision if you are a beginner.
If there's a choice with a risk free way of trading, choose it. But to be frank, there's no way that a risk free trade will do. What we can see with these risk free ways are the trading simulators because there's no money involved.

you have to think about it for the losses that you will later feel. everyone who was already in the circle had already felt the loss they might incur.
Loss is inevitable and every good and bad trader will experience it regardless of his status and experience.
1764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Price To Buy Ethereum on: September 13, 2022, 09:02:39 AM
Ethereum is a coin that continues to grow, especially the Merge plan that will occur in a few days, I'm sure there will be a lot of surprises after Merge
Things are still uncertain during and after the merge. But just like everyone else, I'm trying to be as positive as I can so that I'll be able to see how my ETH holdings will grow. It's possible that we see that it will grow with a skyrocketing price and then a dump shall come afterwards.

and I think the best price to buy is a few days ago when the price is below $ 1000, but if we think it's too late then we can buy immediately.
It really was the best time and I've seen it at $900. Those that have purchased around that time, they've made a good timing as the merge is approaching.
1765  Other / Archival / Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job? on: September 12, 2022, 11:46:40 PM
Job and business are cool, doing a business is like investing some of the money earned from your job, doing this is building more money and if the job is to be no more the business is something that can be rely on.
It's cool when it's already established and stable. Having a business isn't for everyone's cup of tea, there goes those people that don't want to take risk and don't like to do more effort than what they do in their jobs. Business owners aren't just like a type of person that boss around but they're the ones that established the beginning of it and does more job than everyone else.

To build wealth it is impossible for one to only rely on the money earned from job. Every billionaire have a business doing.
It's true but there are high paying jobs that you can be set off for life if you have one.
1766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rug pull scams on: September 12, 2022, 10:47:13 PM
~The coding for these investments prevents people from selling the bitcoin after purchase, so investors are left with a valueless investment.
I don't understand the last sentence but taking it with what you're trying to say. It's true that these scam investments coming from tokens, coins and even NFTs, they'll just leave their investors with nothing once they're done with the project.~

What he meant is likely a type of smart contract that is designed to prevent the selling of a token, a kind of the Squid Game smart contract scam. So the smart contract is just coded with a specific address in mind, which is, it's the address of the smart contract creator itself. That specific address is the one that will only be able to sell tokens, every other else can't sell it, but they are only able to buy or move it.
A'right.
I know and understands if he's talking about those smart contracts scam because they do really exists. This scam is quite new and has a lot of victims already.
Aside from rugpulling, they're doing this so their victims has no way to avoid losing.
1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic recovered? on: September 12, 2022, 09:56:40 PM
Heck no!

If the price has been 10x from now on, of course we agreed to say it recovered, if the price comparison before dropping with now, of course it is still too far, it takes at least 3 times a large pump to be able to make investors interested in investment luna classic again.
If we calculate that and then we'll still end up with a no. It has recovered even it will get a 10x of increase. Right now, after the good pump that it had got.
Look at how massive it is with it drops and that's why no way that it's recovered and not good to hold that you can lean on your future on it for someone who prefers long term.
1768  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Become A Profitable Trader with stop loss and trailing stop loss on: September 12, 2022, 08:55:52 PM
Yes, the size of the fees does not play a big role in long-term trading, because the price difference between buying and selling is large and the profits are large, covering the trading fees with a large profit for the trader, but this may be important for scalping traders, because they make many and quick deals on very small price differences. They only earn some small profits because they lose a lot of fees due to the large number of trades they do daily.
But if a trader is bothered by it and sees those commission and trading fees are like a loss to him, we can't do anything about that. It's true that those fees aren't really alot for a trader and if you're into scalping and you're too concerned with it, you better just stop doing it as it is sorting of worrying to you. As you earn and win your trades and if they're like a lot, those fees won't really be a big factor to you. Because you're earning with your trades and just think of it like a little help back to the exchange, lol.
1769  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto day trader groups on: September 11, 2022, 09:22:02 PM
I understand the keen interest towards these because I have been part of a few as well and found out it was bad and left myself but the best educator is actually doing something and realizing why it is bad rather than just hearing about why it is bad from other people.
Realizing how bad they are will make you appreciate that slow growth and process in trading is still the best. You're the one to realize and see the huge gap that it brings if you're learning on your own through your experience, no dictation, no one gives you that doubt to yourself.

We can talk about how that is bad as long as we want and in the end we are going to end up with a big loss no matter what, hence it is not going to be acceptable for OP or anyone who wants to try it out to just hear it from us. Just go join one, and see why we disliked it, but at the very least make sure that you do not spend all of your money on what you hear there so you won't have to start from scratch.
Well for me, they better listen instead of doing the whole thing and joining these so called trading groups. What's must better to be realized is all about learning on their own through trading and understanding it through their made experiences.
1770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rug pull scams on: September 11, 2022, 03:02:44 PM
Rug pull scams "pumping up" a new project, nonfungible token (NFT) or coin to get funding. After the scammers get the money, they disappear with it. The coding for these investments prevents people from selling the bitcoin after purchase, so investors are left with a valueless investment.
I don't understand the last sentence but taking it with what you're trying to say. It's true that these scam investments coming from tokens, coins and even NFTs, they'll just leave their investors with nothing once they're done with the project.
That's why many projects went to zero because that they've pulled out their investors money turned into their profit. That's what happened and sadly, these victims can never retrieved their money which turns into their losses.
1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: global stock markets are under bearish pressure on: September 10, 2022, 10:45:06 PM
We're seeing the impact, the increase of the interest rates are showing how the US dollars is dominating the markets now. And just like the other markets, the crypto market has stumbled although for this day, we've seen a quick reversal and recovery.
I don't know what's with it right now but one thing for sure is that, we're able to see that crypto market is also being moved by the action that the fed has made.

even gold, which is considered a stable asset, is not immune from the impact of the Fed's rate hike, when the dollar benefits the most from the rate hike
other risky assets like stocks and cryptocurrencies are bound to have negative effects, rising interest rates make the usd stronger, investors will choose usd as a safe haven over other assets
i woke up and was quite surprised to see bitcoin rise above 21k, do you have any information that made bitcoin price go up so fast?
I don't have any information regards to the sudden rise of bitcoin. But we can have that conclusion that it's just the normal day for bitcoin that we get after going down that much.
It's the usual opposite that bitcoin does whenever it goes down too deep and then as it recovers, we're seeing that it's totally recovering a lot from that last dump it gets.
So, it's like the vice versa.
1772  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Binance giving more Apr in fixable staking (saving) than locked staking? on: September 10, 2022, 09:55:44 PM
If you check the flexible staking, there's also the maximum amount for that high APR that they're giving and if you happen to deposit more than that, that's where the percentage goes down. Unlike in locked staking, it seems that it's been maximized and no changes with certain requirements like maximum amount and the percentage that you get to earn. Like if you stake USDT or BUSD there, it is 10% APY but with only a max of $2k worth of those and if you deposit more than that, that's where the percentage decreases.
1773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest mistake in crypto? on: September 10, 2022, 08:54:02 PM
the biggest mistakes made by me in the world of crypto? not having bought bitcoin in 2009 and etherium in 2018 at very low prices compared to the current ones
If you already knew bitcoin on 2009 then you really missed too much. How much more for us that has got in probably can be said late already before the great bull runs.
2016 and 2018 were the years that I've seen Ethereum priced in really low and that's why those that were also on those years would think that it's likely to happen in some other projects that are still considered low in price as of the moment.
1774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we gamble or trade? on: September 10, 2022, 01:04:02 PM
I don't think we gamble, but I suppose we trade. To my knowledge, gambling entails placing money on something so that if you lose, you lose it all, and there is no way to recover what you have lost. However, when it comes to explaining trade, it also involves whether we win or lose, but there is a high likelihood that we won't lose everything when trading, and there is also a good chance that we will gain in the future. Let stop comparing the two words even both risk and luck.
People have that understanding when you take risk, you're gambling. And that's why for those people that don't really gamble and trade, they're having that belief that both are just gambling no matter how good or bad you are in both of it.
You place trades, they'll think that you're gambling. You gamble and then they won't think that you're trading, so that's the difference in that thinking but otherwise, they think of it as the same.
1775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations on proof of work might be coming on: September 10, 2022, 10:10:17 AM
We may just see another "bitcoin ban" front pages but there's little to no impact at all. Well, those cities or states that are conservative with their energy consumption will be the ones to be implementing on this.
But other than that, this might just be the same news about bitcoin being banned and then yet it had became less popular after a couple of months up to becoming none of a real concern from these regulators.
1776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokens/coins with insanely high inflation will not be not profitable ever on: September 09, 2022, 09:45:36 PM
So why the hell do they keep coming back on the markets?
It's because there is a market for them. They won't be back if there's no market for them but due to those investors that are eyeing them and thinking that they can profit from them, they come back. There's no solution for that but the investors will eventually have to turn away from them when it's no longer profitable and for the side of these project makers, they'll just revert the attention of their investors by doing some updates or making a new project that will look interested to the same investors that they've got.
It is really that simple, for people like us it doesn't really make a lot of sense that coins that are completely useless and that we know have no future keep disappearing and then reappearing with a new name but with the same characteristics, but at the end it is a matter of demand.

This is similar to what happens with illegal drugs, we know about all the side effects that they produce on your body and how bad they are for your health, so in a perfect world there would be no demand for those substances, but instead we see the opposite, people want them and since that is the case someone is willing to supply them, and shitcoins follow the same logic, they are completely unnecessary and they are bad for your economic health, but since people want them then someone is willing to supply them.
Just like the market, they're also in a cycle and understands the market cycle. They'll be back with a brand new name and with the same proposal just as their old projects that have worked for. And for these projects like pumping right now, they're all hype-based and there's nothing special with them.
It should be like investors shouldn't buy these projects so that they will realize that no one is buying anymore whatever they do but the problem is, no matter what they do, there will always be those buyers and investors and traders that will follow them.
1777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KPMG: Crypto Adoption is Coming on: September 09, 2022, 08:37:03 PM
It is coming in any case.
It's inevitable and the adoption is already happening. For all of the years that it's been there, these companies are lately realizing the truest potential of it.
The reports that are coming out about its imminent massive adoption is already there and they're just like publishing it for the sake of those newbies.
But folks that have been here for quite while, already have seen this coming and it's an unstoppable adoption.
1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LUNA PUMP on: September 09, 2022, 07:31:36 PM
Am I missing something in the market news?
I was Airdrop 10.5$ worth of btc for a task I won in twitter used the money to buy the new Luna on Binance which was less down 48hrs now.
Just logged in my Binance now and am seeing a massive gain. 10$ is currently worth 28.7$.
Were is the pump actually heading to, should I take profit now or hold?
Just asking out of curiosity, u really don't trust this Luna again despite how small the initial capital is.
The first thing that has pumped was the Lunc and then it's likely that whales have diverted to pump into Luna and that's why you're seeing that gain.
It's true that many don't trust it anymore and whatever is happening on it with its gain, it's all just being done for the sake of pump and dump and that's all.
Are you satisfied with your gain and free money? Sell. If not, you will feel that there's a need to wait a little bit longer before selling.
1779  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for newbie to long-term investing on: September 09, 2022, 06:40:08 PM
Hi,
I am a newbi and I would like to learn, but from what source? If somebody can give me some source would be great. For now I am all in BTC, trying to DCA and buy low sell high.
Continue doing it, you said that you're DCAing and buying low and selling high. Well, you can accumulate as much as you can while it's on the bottom as you might think.
Then, you have to hold bitcoin if you decide to think long term. But if not, you have to sell at profit prices. That's all you need to do and just repeat all the process until you master it. As for the source, depends on what you want to learn, if it's trading, you're on the right section.
I think there is no problem for long-term investment in bitcoin, as long as we are able to maintain the psychological to keep it. but it will be different if we want to hold altcoins in the long term, of course it will have more risk and require specific thinking to analyze the market, although in general buy low sell high, but believe me it's not that easy. In addition to choosing the coin, in long-term investment, of course, we must pay attention to the security of the wallet used.
There is really no problem holding bitcoin for long term because it's the most effective way of profiting from it. I don't know if there are people having problems holding it for long term, maybe the doubters and unbelievers of it. But for people like me, I've got proof and experience that it's the best asset that I have been holding and sold and made profit from it and that's why I'll keep doing what I've been doing for a long time because it's beneficial for me.
